Absoluter Lieblingsitaliener!🇮🇹 Die Pizza aus dem Holzofen ist immer eine 10/10. Heute habe ich die Trüffelpasta gegessen, meine Freundin Tagliatelle mit Spinat und Pilzen und wir hatten einen leckeren Salat dazu. Also es ist egal was man isst, es ist immer sehr sehr lecker 😋 Meine Tochter bekommt immer liebevoll angerichtete Penne Napoli. Die Bedienungen sind super lieb und teilweise auch sehr lustig 😄 Draußen wie drinnen ist es wunderschön. Auf der Terrasse hast du mit Abstand den besten Blick auf die schöne Altstadt Dinkelsbühls. Weiter so liebes Brunos Team!

Ein ganz tolles Erlebnis. Das Essen war wahnsinnig lecker, der Service sehr nett und entspannt. Einfach ganz ganz toll.

Das Essen war köstlich und das Ambiente wunderschön – beides absolut empfehlenswert. Einziger Wermutstropfen war ein Kellner, der zwar freundlich, aber etwas zu forsch und vorlaut war. Schade, denn sonst wäre es ein rundum gelungener Abend gewesen!

Die Pasta mit Trüffel war geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Sehr ausgewogen, cremig und intensiv, ohne zu schwer zu wirken. Eine wirklich runde und stimmige Komposition, die ich jederzeit wieder bestellen würde. Der Service war hervorragend – sehr aufmerksam und mit Blick fürs Detail. Während des Essens fiel eine Serviette herunter, die sofort bemerkt wurde. Der Kellner brachte umgehend eine neue und nahm die alte freundlich mit – ganz selbstverständlich und ohne Aufhebens. Auch ohne Reservierung haben wir problemlos einen Platz bekommen, was den positiven Eindruck zusätzlich unterstreicht. Das Ambiente war grundsätzlich angenehm, allerdings war es recht belebt und der Laden hat spürbar „gebrummt“. Das hat die Ruhe etwas eingeschränkt, soll den insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck des Abends aber keinesfalls schmälern. Insgesamt eine schöne Atmosphäre und ein gelungener Restaurantbesuch.

Ein authentisches italienisches Restaurant, sehr gemütlich. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war köstlich, wir waren begeistert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Die Mitarbeiter sind extrem freundlich aber auch Etwas sarkastisch, wo man nicht ganz weiß, wie man es deuten soll, ob es positiv oder negativ ist…. Die Pizzen schmecken ausgezeichnet also der Teig ist richtig schön lustig und etwas groß, genauso wie man sich bei einer Pizza vorstellt. Der Belag ist auch gut nicht zu viel nicht zu wenig. Und das einzige was wir negativ fanden, ist, dass wir eine Pizza wo glaube ich 11,90 € oder so gekostet hätte für vier Kinder bestellt haben und die dann am Schluss auf der Rechnung für 23,80 € auftaucht Und wir haben eine Sache nur einmal bestellt und die steht auch zweimal auf der Rechnung das fanden wir Richtig blöd und das ist auch der Grund, warum wir dort nicht mehr essen gehen, wenn viel mehr berechnet wird, als dass man bestellt hat Aber ansonsten, die Pizza war ausgezeichnet

Sowas hab ich noch NIE erlebt: Sind schon kurz vor der Öffnungszeit hungrig in das Lokal. Ambiente ist sehr schön. Haben einen der letzten, nicht reservierten Plätze, bekommen. Service war flott und hat auch gleich die Getränke aufgenommen, die zügig gekommen sind. 1x Maracuja-Schorle, 1x Johann-Schorle.... beides hervorragende Qualität und kein Billig-Produkt. Die Essensbestellung wurde auch zügig aufgenommen und ebenfalls flott gebracht: 2x Insalata Salerno und 1x Bruschetta Pomodoro....Mit viel Lebenserfahrung kann ich behaupten, daß ich/wir nicht zum ersten Mal beim Italiener Bruschetta und Salat gegessen haben. Aber dieses Mal war wirklich außergewöhnlich....außergewöhnlich gut: Bruschetta Pomodoro einfach eine traumhafte Kombination aus Brot, Öl, Tomaten und Gewürzen...... Der Salat war reichlich, frisch und geschmacklich hervorragend. Als wir zahlen wollten, wurde, weil wir angeblich lange aufs Zahlen warten mussten, auf das Trinkgeld verzichtet, stattdessen gabs ein Päckchen Gummibärchen.... Wobei uns die Wartezeit nicht so lange vorgekommen ist. Alles in Allem: Service: TOP! Ambiente: TOP! Preis/Leistungsverhältnis: TOP! Das Essen: ABSOLUT TOP! Eine neapolitanische Pizzeria, 1300 km von Neapel entfernt! Man kann nur sagen: Wenn Bruno direkt in Neapel mit den dort verfügbaren Produkten eröffnen würde, wäre es heute eine der besten Pizzerien. Sie machen bessere Pizzen als viele neapolitanische Pizzerien! 10/10

Eine tolle Stimmung zwischen Gast und Bedienung. Grandioses Essen, hervorragende Qualität. Es wird ganz auf den Gast eingegangen und ein Essen auch außerhalb der Speisekarte gezaubert und mit Witz und Charme dort gearbeitet. Kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Sie verstehen es, wie man dem Gast auch während des Aufenthaltes immer wieder ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert. Ganz große Klasse 🙏

Geschäftsessen - Lockeres Ambiente, engagierter Service, Essen war gut

Leckere Pizza, Espresso der wirklich wie Espresso schmeckt. Alles Bestens

Waren gestern Abend wieder vor Ort, haben Salat, Lasagne und Pizza sowie Tiramisu gegessen. Das Essen war super wie immer, der Teig sehr dünn und perfekt aus dem Ofen. Der Junior Chef war wie immer gut gelaunt. Seine offene Art erfreut uns immer wieder da man sich einfach gut behandelt und wohl fühlt. Laut der anderen Rezisionen hier kommt man als Spießer damit nicht klar. Aber hoffentlich bleibt das Brunos wie es ist und lässt sich nicht verändern durch die angriffige Kritik. Der Seniorchef ist auch durchgelaufen und hat geschaut das alles passt. Trotz vollem lokal bekamen wir unser Essen ohne Fehler und auch sehr schnell. Einzige wo eigentlich nur eine 4/5 Stern verdient war das Tiramisu es war etwas wässrig. Haben dort schon oft gegessen und nie schlechte Erfahrungen gehabt. Salat mit Wein Dressing schmeckt nirgends besser im Umkreis. Das feeling des Lokals mit der Küche zum zuschauen ist auch eher selten und spricht für das leckere Essen.

Wir haben hier wirklich, wirklich gute italienische Küche gefunden und waren so begeistert, dass wir gleich zweimal essen waren. Am ersten Abend gab es ein vorzügliches Carpaccio vom Oktopus als Vorspeise und als Hauptgerichte original Spaghetti Carbonara (Nicht die mit Sahne gepantschte Variante!) sowie Insalata Mista AUF Pizzabrot (Sehr originell!). Am zweiten Abend war die Vorspeise Bruschetta Mista (War allein schon fast ein Hauptgericht.) und als Hauptgerichte fantastische, mit Birne gefüllte Pasta in Gorgonzolasoße sowie (extra auf unseren Wunsch zubereitete) Spaghetti Putanesca. Es war alles sehr köstlich und jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Am liebsten hätten wir das Lokal (oder zumindest den Koch) eingepackt und mit nach Hause genommen, denn leider sucht man solche Qualität bei uns daheim vergeblich. Wir kommen wieder!

Himmlisch leckere Pasta! Wahnsinnig gute original neapolitanische Pizza! Ein Essig zum Verlieben im Dressing der Salate und Bruschetta zur Vorspeise einmalig und immer wieder variiert der Belag! Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und herrlich sympathisch! Sobald wir in Dinkelsbühl sind, gehört mittags das Brunos zu unserem Urlaub einfach dazu!!

Ordered for pickup today, menu hasn't been updated. Many dishes are no longer available, even though they're still listed. According to the menu, Rigatoni Al Forno with beef and veal mince is €10.50 – vegetarian without mince is over €13. That can't be right. And the junior manager is incredibly rude and completely out of line. I've never met such an unpleasant person. Furthermore, during peak hours, there's a 90% chance of missing out on pickup. Orders are taken, but you wait forever until an employee tells you it's not possible. This hasn't just happened once, but very, very often in the summer. It's a shame, because the food is good, but otherwise, things just aren't working out...

I have very fond memories of Brunos, a family-founded, very cosy & warm place driven by very welcoming, funny & lively employees. During my 1-week trip in Dinkelsbühl to recover from long-term stress & trauma, this restaurant wasn't ever skipped- I went here for dinner every day it was open. It was great to talk with the employees, very fun & lively souls and the hygiene & food was outstanding. In my home country, at least, I've never met a worthy contestant to the culinary wonders Brunos has in store. Many, if not all, the dishes honour the true-Italian quality & traditions and have a 'home-made' speciality- which you can definitely taste: there's something uniquely great about the food! It's honestly very hard to find anything to critique.. I think this was the #1 interaction in my life with a restaurant. If you happen to be near Dinkelsbühl one day, be sure to pay Brunos a visit (and tell them the long-haired & bearded Peter's sent you 🤭)!

Tasty dishes, cooked to perfection.

We ate pizza and received a friendly welcome and service. Admittedly, the crust tasted good and the toppings were nothing to complain about, but for the price, there could have been a bit more. The pizza wasn't cooked well; it was burnt on top and undercooked in the middle. The result was tough and rubbery.

Great food, very pleasant welcome and attentive service.

Very average Italian food, I guess my expectations were too high seeing the reviews and having lived in Italy. The pasta dishes contain way to much pasta respective to filling, and the taste is okay, nothing special. The pizza was quite bland. When asked for feedback and sharing it we were ridiculed by the waiter.

The food is so-so. A little pricey, but acceptable. The Quattro Formaggi pizza is made with a flavorless cheese sauce, even though it shouldn't be. Also, the spicy gorgonzola is missing.

The large terrace is a great place to relax. The food (pizza) was excellent. The service was attentive and friendly.

We went to this Italian restaurant, and unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. Drinks didn't arrive for about 30-40 minutes—and only because we asked the waiter about it. It took about an hour for the entire meal to arrive at the table. The waiter recommended a side dish to a friend that "went perfectly with it"—but in the end, he told us the baker had forgotten to put it in the oven, and we didn't get it at all. The food was very tasty, but the portions were quite meager for the price. When we paid, the bill was simply divided by 5, even though we would have liked to pay individually, and the waiter tipped himself. It's a shame, because the food is excellent—but the service ruined our evening.

We are very disappointed. The reception was heartless, the tables were dirty despite our reservations. Soot flakes on the table and chairs (wood-burning stove!!!) were ignored when we warned them. Our clothes were stained by the end. And the food wasn't up to the Italian we're used to. The lasagna was drowned in béchamel sauce without any ground meat, the salad was tasteless, and the carpaccio was dry and bland. So, all in all, we won't be regulars.

Genuine Italian flair and cuisine. Bruno’s is a beautiful experience, like an Italian vacation in the middle of a beautiful German city. The service is fantastic. The best food I’ve had in a long time and very reasonably priced too. The Vitello Tonnato was the best I’d had in my life! Thank you to the staff, you spoiled us wonderfully We’ll be back!

Extremely unfriendly server. He thinks he's funny, even though he's extremely unfriendly. You wait at least an hour for a chance to reorder. When ordering, you're harassed and asked to hurry up. So, all in all, absolutely not recommended. Even though the atmosphere is actually great.

Hi, I just picked up some pizzas to go. They're good, yes, but nowhere near as good as Italian. Maybe Germans are content, but those who've lived in Italy, not so much. Keep working! 🙏🏻

The good thing at the beginning: the food was okay. Not outstanding, but OK. The rest, unfortunately, was abysmal. We didn't sit for a minute, were handed the menu, and the waiter stood impatiently next to us. Our request to serve the starters and main courses separately was immediately dismissed with a laugh. That wouldn't work. After we all decided, he commented with "finally, it's possible" and disappeared. After the meal, half the table was cleared, and then we were completely ignored for half an hour. When I went from the terrace into the restaurant to ask for the bill, my request was met with "someone will be here soon." After another 10 minutes of waiting, we were asked to pay inside, as they couldn't separate the bills outside. Our request for an espresso was answered with "the machine has already been cleaned." When I then pointed out that we would have liked to have ordered half an hour ago, I was just laughed at. So a colleague jokingly said that we could get a 10% discount, he said, "You can pay 10% more, okay?" and faked a laugh. After paying, I asked why they had to be so rude. This was answered with "Was I rude?!" and a smug grin.

A nice Italian restaurant, with real professionals in the sector!!

Well, it tastes good. The pizza dough is so thin inside that you can almost see through it. The salad doesn't have any seasoning, just vinegar, and it tastes a bit bland. It's possible that the lettuce stalk slips in with it. But two at once? And this is the second time, that's just unacceptable. The staff is really nice, except for one. He's really terrible.

Updated on July 10, 2025, regarding my review from 2023. Absolutely terrible, after only two years, with the same service team. Unfriendly, listless, lacking in ambiance. The food was okay, but nothing like the last time. There may be a bad day, but in all departments, and in such a devastating manner, it's completely incomprehensible. No longer recommending it!!!

We used to be regulars at this restaurant, but unfortunately, our impression has changed significantly over time. During a previous visit, we encountered a very unpleasant situation: A waiter simply took our child from my husband's arms without asking, apparently because he wanted to pick him up for a moment instead of attending to his actual service. During our entire visit, he also barely gave us a chance to relax, as he repeatedly came to our table and engaged us in trivial conversation, even though we actually wanted to eat in peace. This intrusive and unprofessional behavior led to us not visiting the restaurant for a long time. We recently gave the restaurant a second chance – unfortunately, with another disappointing experience. Even when ordering, we felt practically rushed: The waiter stood right at the table, waiting impatiently for us to make our decision. Anyone who needed a moment was met with an annoyed look. Under these circumstances, I decided not to eat anything at all – such rude behavior takes away your appetite. We also noticed another unpleasant behavior: The pizza chef gave a friend from our group a suspicious look and gave her a thumbs-up – even though her partner was sitting directly across from her. We also found this inappropriate. Overall, the staff's behavior was disappointing. We no longer feel comfortable there and will certainly not be regular customers.

The food was delicious! The service wasn't that good. The main courses arrived while we were still eating our starters. When we tried to pay, we were ignored for a long time. The staff weren't very friendly either.

We had to sit inside first because it was still raining outside. It was very warm upstairs. We were allowed outside afterward and received two free drinks as compensation. Very nice service :)

Based on the good reviews and beautiful photos of the dishes, we booked a dinner on the evening of May 31st. The table assignment wasn't exactly friendly, but that was probably due to the restaurant being fully booked – we accepted it. We each ordered a pizza and a mixed salad. Unfortunately, we were more than disappointed with the quality. The pizza was rubbery and not crispy. Half of the salad was soaked in water. The garlic oil we ordered with it wasn't olive oil, but cooking oil with garlic powder. We observed the other people, who were all somewhat shocked by their food. For example, the risotto, which was spread out on a plate, was runny, or the spaghetti, which was served as a mush with short, broken pasta; it looked more like reheated leftovers. What we did notice was that many people simply left half of their food. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. I know authentic Italian differently!

We've been to this Italian restaurant several times and can absolutely recommend it! The food is simply fantastic. The waiter is always in a good mood, super friendly, and very professional. You just feel at home.

We had a very nice afternoon in Dinkeldbühl and a lovely end to our evening at Bruno's. The food was delicious. The service was also delicious. But when we finally paid, the young employee, perhaps the junior boss, simply kept €4 as a tip even though we had already given him €5! It was probably too little for him. Sorry, that's not okay.

I can highly recommend Brunos Restaurant! The food was simply excellent. The pasta in particular was cooked al dente and the sauces were incredibly flavorful. The pizza also looked delicious and smelled amazing. The service was attentive and friendly. The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. You're happy to pay for the quality of the food and the attentive service. I will definitely come back and recommend Brunos to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic and delicious Italian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. A real insider tip!

We had reserved by phone, which wasn't a problem. When we arrived, our table was waiting for us, and the waiter brought the menus right away. The drinks came quickly, and the service was very attentive and cheerful, even including a few jokes. Overall, the atmosphere was relaxed. When a beer was forgotten, it was brought with a funny comment and not added to the bill. The pizzas we ordered arrived quickly and were very good. Nice, airy, and soft crust, just as you would expect and want from a Neapolitan pizza. In my opinion, the best pizza in the area. We'd love to come back and look forward to our next visit.

Today we went to Bruno's in Dinkelsbühl again. The food was excellent as always!!! The hospitality "Bella Italia" super service. And Arya was spoiled too. 🥰

I was there for the first time, on New Year's Eve, and my expectations were really exceeded. A very good Italian, with excellent, down-to-earth and fresh cuisine. The restaurant was well filled, even with larger groups, and yet we didn't have to wait too long! No matter whether the pizzas (even gluten-free ones are available) or all the appetizers and antipasti plates - fresh, delicious and of the finest quality. The service team seems to be really well coordinated, and a, well, humorous waiter created a good atmosphere - always maintaining boundaries, a real feat (because maybe not every guest can handle that... we could!). The pasta plates, the vitello tonnato, and the calamari a la griglia or spaghetti and gamberi a la spada simply tasted great. Kudos to the 'Squadrona in Cucina', the kitchen team (who you can watch doing things through a transparent window front). We will definitely come back, even a good 50 minutes away, Dinkelsbühl and the 'Brunos' are always worth a trip...
