Just great Persian restaurant in center! It is clean and staffs are super cool and friendly! The vibe of restaurant is just what you need to feel as Iranian restaurant! Jojeh torsh was super tasty and Mahiche was so soft and delicious. Don’t forget to order tahdig gheyme! It is one of the most delicious of Persian food. Everything was just incredible.

Have been there for the third time now. This time in the courtyard with our new favorite waiter Flo. It was a pleasure all around: the food, the service, the hospitality and the ambience. Anyone who loves taste experiences and is keen to experiment simply has to head to the Persian restaurant. Keep it up!

Super delicious!!!! As always, all dishes were delicious and can be recommended without reservation. The portions are also quite large, but unfortunately it's not cheap either. If you're willing to spend a little more, I highly recommend it. The only point of criticism: the grilled specialties are only served with rice. This means that the rice alone is slightly dry. A sauce with the dish would be nice.

A wonderful experience. Went there for my birthday and felt very comfortable. The boss was just great. Incredibly humble and service oriented. He welcomed us at the door in the guest room and escorted us to the terrace and personally cleaned and set the table. The atmosphere is authentic and beautifully decorated. The food was simply fantastic. We had a very nice chat. It's just a shame that we come from the Frankfurt area and can't visit the restaurant more often. The kitchen and service staff should also be praised as they also did a great job. When he found out it was my birthday, there was a dessert on the house. Thank you for the great food and warm hospitality. Hopefully we will be back in Munich soon and can enjoy the delicious food again.

I forgot to take a picture of my dish, but it was beautifully presented. I really enjoyed the taste of the koobideh and rice. The waiter was generally kind, though he did come across as a bit rude and flirty, which made me feel uncomfortable. Despite this, I still recommend the restaurant for its food.

We ordered Kashke Bademjan as an appetizer, which was delicious, and for the main course, we ordered grilled kebab Koobideh which was acceptable in terms of taste, and it was almost the best for the city of Munich. The stereotypical decorations of low-end Iranian restaurants were not used, which was a strong point for this restaurant. The behavior of the staff was very friendly and respectful.

As a recommendation for the best Persian cuisine in Munich, we went to this extraordinary restaurant for the first time today. And we weren't promised too much: a beautiful, stylish ambience, simply fantastic cuisine, incredibly attentive, friendly and funny staff! The overall package would deserve at least ten stars! The food is very delicious. Sultani kebab, rice, and appetizers. The session is beautiful and their reception is beautiful. Their drawback is that the prices are somewhat high.

Absolutely delicious food (pictured zereshk polo ba morgh, salad shirazi, doogh) in a beautiful, tasteful environment with efficient and very friendly service. A whole sensory experience! Very interesting and thoughtful aspects like art and antiques throughout. The restaurant strikes me as the owner's very personal tribute to Iran. It was a privilege to dine here!

We found this restaurant on Google and decided to have dinner there. The staffs were very nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean, also washroom was very clean (usually restaurants are not clean in Germany!). But quality of the food was not good. It was not tasty at all and as you see in the photo the cook burnt the kebabs! Also, they didn't provide any appetizers which normally Persian restaurants do. They even charge €3.50 for a small piece of bread! So nothing complementary which is totally against most of Persian restaurants in the world or even in Germany!

I went to this restaurant for the first time on 11th July 2024, and I have already made two more bookings for upcoming days. The most important thing that caught my eyes was the level of care and attention I received from the staff. The food was amazing and tasty. The location is in city centre and the atmosphere was great. Cannot fault it. There is a nice outdoor area if you fancy sitting outside. I recommend to do a booking before you go to avoid disappointment. Overall 10 out of 10.

As an appetizer, we ordered the "tahdig gheimeh," and it was absolutely delicious. The crispy rice paired with the flavorful stew was a delightful combination. It set the tone for what was to come. For our main course, we opted for the classic kebab with rice and two small portions of "khoresht." The flavors were rich and authentic, truly capturing the essence of Iranian cuisine. However, while the kebab was good, I felt it could have been even better. Nonetheless, the overall meal was satisfying and left us craving more. To end our meal on a sweet note, we indulged in the ice cream, a pistatio flavor I had never tasted before. It was a delightful surprise, and I appreciated the restaurant's willingness to offer unique and intriguing selections. The restaurant had both indoor and outdoor seating options. we preferred to dine outdoore. But if you like to eat indoor, the air conditioner keeps the temperature pleasant, allowing you to relax and enjoy your meal without any discomfort. The choice of Iranian music playing in the background was a lovely touch. It wasn't loud, which enhanced our overall enjoyment of the evening. The soothing melodies transported us to Iran and added to the romantic ambiance of the restaurant. To complement our meal, we ordered a gin with pomegranate. The drink had a distinct flavor that reminded me of home in Iran. It was a delightful pairing with the food and added a touch of authenticity to the experience. I must mention that the price of the dishes was slightly on the higher side. However, considering the lovely ambiance, attentive service, and the overall romantic experience, I believe it was worth it. Lamb shank was served cold and the sauce in the serving bowl couldn't be warmed up. There is no indication that reservations are only valid for a 2-hour window. The bill is presented at the table after 2 hours without comment. Food was otherwise adequate.

While in Munich, we ate a delicious meal in the exotic setting of the Tahdig restaurant. As fans of Iranian cuisine, we have rarely eaten such varied starters, such well-prepared skewers and rice, homemade bread, as well as such a creamy traditional ice cream. In addition, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and attentive to all our requests. To visit for an extraordinary culinary and human experience.

This was a unique experience to eat in a charming place and specially hosted by such a nice staff. We strangely recommend Tahdig restaurant for a definitively different culinary and human experience.

Stylish restaurant with high quality food. We were here at lunchtime on the weekend. You can sit here both inside and outside. We chose the terrace. The service was very attentive. I had the Djudje Soltani. This was very tasty. For dessert we had the ice cream specialty made from pistachios and almonds. This was excellent. The prices are reasonable, although not cheap. However, due to the good quality, it is justifiable. From our point of view a recommendation. We will be back.

We just dined at Tahdig and we were pleasantly surprised. I randomly chose the restaurant for its proximity to our accommodation and we weren't disappointed. As an expatriate Iranian I have eaten in many Iranian restaurants around the world and I would rate Tahdig as on par or even better than its counterparts in Paris and London. We were a group of 12, some tasting Iranian cuisine for the first time- and everyone was happy. It was refreshing to see dishes and drinks that you wouldn't usually find in Iranian restaurants on the menu. Ms Sara in particular was very kind and helpful. We'll be back next time we're in Munich. Absolute recommendation! The cuisine is excellent with fascinating flavors, the service is extremely friendly and accommodating, you feel warmly welcome. The atmosphere is also upscale, but not tortured. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back.

Delicious and healthy Persian food Koobideh & Khoresh badenjoon were great

This is an excellent dining experience. The classical Iranian decor is beautiful. There’s pictures of Iranian architecture and history. The booths are comfy, with ornate Iranian pillows. Art pieces adorn the walls for an excellent open-air dining experience. Our waitress was very professional, understanding, and knowledgeable of the menu. He consistently gave us water and explained the menu items to us because we were very unfamiliar with Iranian cuisine. The food was exceptional. We enjoyed marinated lamb skewers, fresh cucumber, salads, saffron Basmati rice, fresh lentils, yogurt sauce, excellent homemade bread, and pomegranate chicken. The ingredients are VERY fresh and flavorful. All this was served to us at a very reasonable price. Four of us ate heaps of food for £125! I’ll be back :)

It was my first time here and after a long search I wanted to eat Persian food and discovered Tahdig. I got a table. The atmosphere was good and everything was beautifully decorated. The service was very attentive and, in contrast to the reception, friendly. But the food didn't score points and the taste was anything but good. The rice was dry and cold and the meat was unseasoned.

Persian cuisine revealed some secrets to me today. But thank God my family was already "initiated" when it came to starters, rice variety and sauces. Striking: not so spicy and just fine for my taste:😉 Tip: Google the name “Tahdig” and read Wikipedia about “rice”.

One of the greatest restaurants in Munich! The owner and the employees are so nice, you feel absolutely welcome, even with a small child. There were always questions about whether everything was right and always a nice joke with my baby. We felt very comfortable, apart from how delicious the food was!

As a Persian, the first thing I notice is that the concept in this store is more tailored to European/German customers. This is evident from several breaks in tradition. For example, at the age of 57, I have never experienced a Persian restaurant that charges money for “service” - small appetizers consisting of some herbs, a little cheese, onions and bread. And not a little. In general, the pricing is not traditional. While many Persian restaurants charge little or no money for tea after dinner, here they are merciless. Price/performance isn't right for main courses either. We experienced light and shadow with staff! While the waiter was hyper impatient and irritable and almost kicked us out because of a single question, a young lady afterwards served us divinely, with a lot of class and very courteously and made everything right again. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and polite. As for the food, well. The stews are well made and are fine. But not as good as we prepare them at home. But when it comes to the flagship of Persian cuisine “Kebab”, which is why Persians go to a Persian restaurant in the first place, I am very disappointed. The meat was very tasteless and given the hefty prices, you couldn't smell or taste any saffron. A small half of a grilled tomato, which for a Persian is akin to lese majeste, was on the plate. You have to remember that it acts as a sauce in this dish! I can understand why the shop is busy, even though you hardly see any Persians there. For my part, next time I'll look for a shop that also meets the demands of the Persian palate. Then I'm willing to spend a little more money.

Truly a discovery. Persian cuisine in "Tahdig". If I had found out what Tahdig meant before the visit (e.g. in Wikipedia), I would have had even more enjoyment eating the delicacies our group of 6 gathered on the many plates at the table over the next 2.5 hours! And above all, I recorded what spices, ingredients and the different types of rice could taste like. Quoted from #Tahdig: "also called Tadig, is a rice dish from Persian cuisine that is characterized by the crust that forms in the pot. The crust is created by fat in the pot, to which saffron is often added. The rice cooks without stirring with the lid closed. With the potato tahdig, thin slices of potato are placed on the bottom of the pot before the rice is added. In both cases, the tahdig is turned hot onto a plate with a golden crust." More coming soon. Anyway, pay a visit and try it out. The starters are all tempting and the lamb skewers and lamb shanks with sauce are delicious! The different types of travel and their ingredients - admixtures are also worth a second visit.

Last night, some of my friends and I were in this restaurant. Staffs were very friendly and kind and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We almost all ordered Kebab Koubideh along with Dough (as a side drink), the taste was delicious and the quality was very good. In the end, the manager brought us Tee completely free (as an exception :D). I highly recommend this restaurant

I can only agree with all other reviewers. Eight of us were at Tahdig and spent a culinary evening in this beautiful restaurant. Our waiter Flo gave us advice and explained all the dishes, which was very interesting and entertaining. You could feel the enthusiasm for his work and Iran. The food was very good. Since we were all served mixed starters and main courses, we were able to get to know many different flavors of Persian cuisine. We'll all be back!!

I had never had Persian food before and didn't know what to expect. I have to be honest, it was great! The staff was super friendly, the food was great and the atmosphere was very good. A coherent picture. The dishes are balanced with lots of spices and yet mild, no spiciness. Vegetarians also get their money's worth! I will definitely go again :)
