The décor definitely reminds you of traditional Iranian restaurants, although the differences are something only Iranians will really notice. You can see that effort has been put into creating the atmosphere, and that is appreciated. However, the biggest difference is the food. For a traditional restaurant in Munich, it might be acceptable, but if you have real experience with authentic Iranian cuisine, the food doesn't really justify the price. In other cities, I've had Iranian food of better quality for lower prices. The koobideh, honestly, was disappointing, and the chenjeh didn't meet expectations either. The decor is clearly reminiscent of traditional Iranian restaurants – although the subtle differences are probably only noticeable to Iranians. You can tell that effort has been put into it, and that is certainly commendable. The biggest difference, however, lies in the food. For a traditional restaurant in Munich, it might be okay, but if you have experience with authentic Iranian cuisine, the quality unfortunately doesn't justify the price. I've had better Iranian food at lower prices in other cities. The Koobideh was especially disappointing, and the Chenjeh 😏 unfortunately didn't live up to expectations either.

I didn't like it; the dishes all look alike, and I didn't really like the taste. My husband said he ordered something different, and it arrived the same. The price for two people was 62 euros.

I've been to Pars a few times and felt comfortable every time. The food tastes very fresh, and the Persian flavors are really well done – especially the lamb and rice dishes. The service is attentive and friendly, and the decor has such a warm, inviting style. I can highly recommend it for a cozy dinner with friends.

I ate Persian food for the first time tonight and was absolutely delighted! Even though I hadn't made a reservation and it was already quite busy, I was still offered a table and tea right away. The service was friendly and attentive, and the tea and soup were delicious. I recommend making a reservation for Saturdays. I would love to come back with friends or family, thank you so much!

The food was excellent; they clearly prioritize quality. The lamb shank was incredibly tender, the rice delicious, and the salads wonderfully fresh. The restaurant space and devoration looked nice, but unfortunately the food was disappointing to me and my friend. So I do not recommend. - We ordered Ash Reshteh, it looked nice but the taste was really not good. - The tea was not Persian but more like Turkish tea. - Also there was no toilet paper in the restroom on that day.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. It was the lowest quality Kabab Koobideh and Ghormeh Sabzi I’ve ever had. The WC was not clean or well-maintained. The interior was cluttered, with random items covering the walls and every corner — definitely not a minimal or beautiful place.

The ambiance and service were acceptable. But the food was a disappointment. Kubide doesn't taste like lamb, but rather like a soy mixture, which they try to disguise with spices. The meat was way too firm. Overall, another disappointment and a waste of money. It's a shame that this lovely restaurant has such bad food. For non-Iranians who aren't familiar with the original flavors, it might be okay, but for Iranians, it just doesn't taste good.

The Pars restaurant is a very special place for me. The restaurant is located underground. And that's exactly what makes it different. While in many restaurants you hear the loud traffic noise, here there is a pleasant calm. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and pleasant. We were there around 2 p.m., and even though it was lunchtime, our food came very quickly. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. I was thrilled with the food. In short: If you want to enjoy delicious Persian food while seeking peace and quiet from the noise of the street, Pars is the place for you.

The restaurant is very quaint, with tables spaced out and placed in various corners to ensure customer privacy. The food is passable, but nothing exceptional. In particular, the rice accompanying the main courses, described as saffron rice with saffron butter, is actually plain rice with a little saffron powder on top and a small knob of Granarolo butter added. Truly disappointing. The truly negative thing is the staff, who initially seemed polite, but when it came time to get the bill, they decided to tip themselves 10% of the total, surreptitiously, without mentioning it and without giving us time to check the bill. We only noticed this after paying, while we were still in the restaurant, but we preferred to let it go. It's our custom to leave a tip anyway, and we've even been asked to do so in several places in Munich, but we always leave it to ourselves to decide the amount when paying by credit card. Tipping cannot be imposed, and it's even unfair.

We ordered biryani and okra stew. The food was very delicious. It was beyond description. The staff were respectful and helpful. I really liked the place.

This is my first time in Munich and this restaurant is absolutely amazing. I'm definitely coming back. This restaurant is a must.

I usually eat Chelo Kubideh here, and I don't know what could be improved. Some might be irritated by the lack of sauce for the buttered rice, but I think that when the meat is already so juicy and perfectly cooked, it's unnecessary. I highly recommend it.

Please save yourself a visit to this restaurant! I've rarely had such an unpleasant experience. The food was disappointing – poorly presented, bland in taste, and definitely overpriced for what was served. However, the treatment of the staff was much worse: I was treated in a clearly racist manner. While other guests were greeted warmly and served promptly, I was ignored, spoken to rudely, and treated like a nuisance. A restaurant that behaves so disrespectfully and discriminatorily shouldn't receive a single cent of support. I can only strongly advise everyone: Avoid this place – there are plenty of better alternatives where you're valued as a human being. This kind of thing shouldn't be supported!

Unfortunately, the price and the food didn't quite match up. It was very expensive, but the quality didn't match the price. If I have to pay €18 for a Spiz, I expect it to taste good. The food and the kind of meat used is white, very weird and not of a quality, they used store bought potato sticks for the stews which tastes very bad too, rice without taste at all , table is dirty and not cleaned. Dont waste your time

The food was good, the atmosphere was ok overall. I had only one issue, they didn’t accept card payment which was not mentioned earlier at all, and the server did not have change, so she simply added 10% as tips without asking for my permission. I found this not appropriate!

Glad to have come across this restaurant so near to our hotel. Excellent service and food in a quiet and quaint setting. Service of bread and olives/peppers. Our group had hummus and various plates of the minced lamb, game hen and lamb fillet. All grilled items were very flavorful and partnered with a generous side of rice. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Food quality and portion are good. I like the atmosphere because it’s spacious and when you’re served in isolated tables with walls, you have a private space that is rare in restaurants. Staff is attentive and welcoming. They accept both cash and card and are having some event nights with live music.

I am not from Iran but this is my favourite restaurant in Munich all the food was delicious. I liked that the decoration makes you feel that you not only traveled in time but also to Iran. Everything was better than the pictures.

The restaurant is beautifully located in the basement and has character, you get the impression that there is good food but unfortunately the food was very bad. We eat Persian more often and love the cuisine. Unfortunately the food was poor. My companion hardly touched the food, and they didn't ask if it was tasty, which is what you're used to. We went to Pars for the first time last night. The food was delicious, I couldn't have eaten better in Iran itself. The ambience always gives you the feeling of being in the middle of Tehran, which I really liked as an Orient lover. It was an evening immersion in the Orient with lightly sweetened Persian tea as dessert. It will definitely remain one of our favorite restaurants if the quality is maintained. We love it. Big praise to the pretty, nice lady who served us. She was always smiling and did everything to make us happy.

This is actually my updated review of this place. I reviewed it 3 years ago and gave it 5 stars. now I will give it 2. Here's what I think now: Food: Still good imo. as good as an Iranian restaurant outside Iran can be I guess. with lots of variety. But of course not cheap. Service: Gotten considerably worse compared to the past. not enough waiters, or always busy. Also playing some cheap tricks on customers. After ordering like 20 euros per person with sides, dessert, etc. one of us asked for Tap water as she was thirsty. The waitress quite shamelessly said "we don't offer tap water. it is not safe. if you want water, you should order water". Just for that I made sure to tip them 0 euros that night. Atmosphere: The area is decorated nice with Iranian themes, music instruments, and mosaics. BUT apparently recently they are frequently bringing Arab belly dancers who dance with loud music which has absolute 0 authenticity to Iran. never in Iran will you ever see that. This is another cheap trick to bring more middle eastern customers there but as an Iranian myself, I know how many alternatives they have which they can still offer entertainment in a good Iranian way without going Arab for absolute zero reason. for the record I don't have any issues with Arab music and belly dancing. But only at the relevant place. even if the place was "Middle Eastern food" I would be fine with it. But the restaurant clearly brands itself (and serves) Iranian food almost exclusively. so the entertainment should reflect that as well.) I have visited this restaurant at least 5 times in the last few years. But for the reasons mentioned, I will be looking for another go-to Iranian restaurant to bring my international friends. One who can represent Iran as it really is. Not like another Arab, and I don't want to give the wrong impression to those who do not know it.

A true pearl of Persian cuisine in Munich We celebrated a birthday at Pars Restaurant - and it was an absolutely perfect experience that everyone enjoyed without exception! As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel like you are immersed in another world. The ambience is extraordinary, the atmosphere is authentic and the loving decoration takes you straight to Persia for a few hours. The service was not only extremely attentive, but also extremely friendly, so we felt completely at home. And the food? Just a poem! Authentic, aromatic and prepared with so much attention to detail that it delights every palate. For us there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Pars is a restaurant that is unrivaled in Munich - if not the best of its kind! Many thanks to the entire team for making this day unforgettable for us.
