Wenig Fleisch, viel Reis, teuer. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von ca. 15 Freunden in diesem Restaurant. Der Service war gefordert, aber trotzdem freundlich. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir fanden, dass für das Gebotene zu viel verlangt wird.

Sehr gute und vielfältige persische Küche mit großartigen Grill Gerichten. Unbedingt die kleinen Beilagen probieren. Sehr freundlicher Service.

I recently visited Shandiz in Munich, a Persian restaurant I frequent often. Each visit has been a delight, and my most recent experience was no exception. The food is consistently delicious, and this time I ordered the chelo kebab and jeojeh. The dis cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Shandiz is always a must-visit whenever I'm in Munich, and it never disappoints.

A comida é bem gostosa e diferente, pedimos três pratos diferentes com arroz e a variação foi apenas a proteína, provavelmente voltaríamos para provar os outros pratos. O atendimento não gostamos pois, o garçom pouco carismático, demora para nos atender mesmo indo durante a semana no almoco, ainda passou um pouco a mais do trinkgeld do que foi falado.

Positiv: das Essen war gut aber nicht überragend Negativ: große Gruppe und "Stammgäste" werden besser behandelt als normale Gäste. Das Restaurant war komplett überbucht. Trotz Reservierung mussten wir warten, standen wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt im Lokal und letztendlich wurde uns auf die schnelle ein schlechter Tisch direkt an der Tür und am Durchgang zugeteilt obwohl genug andere Tische unbesetzt waren. Offenbar waren wir dem Inhaber nicht gut genug. Wann wir zu zahlen hatten wurde nicht von uns sondern vom Kellner bestimmt, wir waren noch nicht mal richtig aufgestanden schon wurden Tische gewischt und gerückt. Leider haben wir uns weder willkommen noch sonderlich wohl gefühlt. Es gibt noch andere, wirklich gute Restaurants wo wir zukünftig gerne hin gehen aber Restaurant Shandiz - einmal und nie wieder

Hat an Gemütlichkeit verloren. Es wurde zu sehr nachverdichtet, so dass man am Nachbartisch quasi schon mitessen kann. Privatgespräche ade. Das Essen ist gut.

Haben gleich wieder für das nächste Mal reserviert. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr gutes Essen nur die Portionen sind leider etwas übersichtlich. Wer Hunger hat sollte auf jeden eine Vorspeise nehmen.

Gutes Ambiente, faire Preise, hat in der Nachbarschaft viel Konkurrenz. Wir waren an einem Samstag Mittag da, früh dasein lohnt sich und man hat die freie Platzauswahl. Das Essen war sehr gut, wir hatten 101 (Lammlaxe) butterzart und 1A Sauce und 102 (Hühnchen), der Vorspeisenteller für 2 ist super, ABER der Shandiz gemischte Nachspeisenteller ganz unten auf der Karte, mit 4erlei Köstlichkeiten war das Highlight, der ist ausgezeichnet, auch für 2 Personen zu essen. We had a dinner at Shandiz on Tuesday evening. The restaurant was full. So with no reservation it's hard to get there. The food was excellent, great service, delicious wine. It was also clean in the restroom and we didn't have to wait long. Highly recommend. The only moment that was a bit annoying is that the tables are too close to each other. Not only are you forced to listen to what your neighbors are talking about but also it's a bit complicated to leave the table without bothering others. Amazing place with the great oriental atmosphere and delicious food.

Freundlicher Service und gutes Essen. Die Auberginencreme war der Hammer. Das Hähnchen von meiner Hauptspeise ist vom Knochen abgefallen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön. Edit: war ein zweites Mal da und es war wieder super. Essen geht sehr fix. Service ist hervorragend.

The polo mahiche I ordered was delicious and my waiter was mori, who was very friendly.

Essen war ok. Zu teuer für das was geboten wird. Personal war dagegen sehr freundlich.

Sehr gutes Essen, nette Atmosphäre. Hat trotz vollem Laden ein bisschen "Wohnzimmer"-Gefühl. Allerdings ziemlich teuer. Portionen gehen allerdings voll in Ordnung. Das war meine erste Erfahrung mit persischem Essen; ich denke es ist ein Kompromiss an den deutschen Gaumen, denn wahnsinnig exotisch war es jetzt nicht (ich kann nur für die vegetarischen Gerichte sprechen). Das Safran-Eis hingegen ist schon sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig ;) Insgesamt ein netter Abend.

We were a group of 12 and went to Shandiz for the first time. The atmosphere was warm and friendly; the menu full of wonderful Persian specialties, and the wait staff was great. Everyone loved their meal choices and had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend!

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the price-performance ratio. The starters and main courses are really expensive and I have to say I wasn't blown away by the taste. First of all, the Persian tea was from a discount supermarket. The dips were ok, the falafel was mediocre and the lamb skewers were too small a portion for the price. The waiter then emphasized 5 times that the tip was not included. All in all, better go a few meters further to another Persian Restaurant.

Leider gab es tatsächlich ein Haar im Essen (Normalerweise haben Mitarbeiterinnen auch die Haare zusammengebunden - hier nicht🤔) geschmacklich nicht unbedingt zum wiederholen...... und der Service..... nicht wirklich aufmerksam 🤷🏼‍♀️

We were a very large group of 12 people. There was something on the menu for everyone - meat-eaters, vegetarians, and everyone in between. The service was great and the food came very promptly. The portions were all very satisfying. Everyone in the group was very happy with their meals. As we meet regularly, we promised that we would be back. Highly recommend!

Im Shandiz gibt es sehr gutes orientalisches Essen: oft Reis als Grundlage, dazu Fleisch oder Gemüse. Besonders mag ich die orientalischen Gewürze, die durch Granatapfelkerne, Rosinen oder auch Nüsse ergänzt werden. Wer‘s noch nicht kennt: unbedingt ausprobieren! 😋 Dazu empfehle ich ein Glas „Sherbat“ mit Limettensaft und Basilikumsamen.

The food was delicious but the service was not so good. We made a reservation for four people and out of nowhere they started taking chairs and the menus from our table, which we didn’t see like a big deal, but then they lasted so long to ask us for the food, and then the bill. It was more expensive than we thought even though he had some coupons. At least the place is pretty and the food is good.

We came here with our Brazilian friends. We found Morteza he was helping us to choose the best food (considering the price also for us :)) ) just ask for Morteza if you enter to Shandiz! The place itself is very good, lots of Iranian dishes and Kebab Barg, Kebab Jooje and etc. see the attached pictures. It's dog friendly restaurant! Taste Iranian tea also, just ask Morteza!

Dieses Restaurant ist eine besondere Erfahrung, bietet es doch einen Einblick die persische Küche mit ihrer langen Tradition. Sehr empfehlenswert sind der Vorspeisenteller und die Mezza-Platte, um einen Einstieg zu finden. Weiter ging's mit Grillspezialitäten, allesamt formidabel: Wunderbar mariniertes Fleisch, köstlich gewürzt und von leckeren Beilagen umgeben. Der Nachtisch war dann auch exquisit: Safraneis und Glasnudeleis.

Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal persisches Essen probieren möchten, könnte dieser Ort genau das Richtige für Sie sein. Ansonsten schmeckt es nicht besser als die bekannten Kebaps. Die Inneneinrichtung ist nicht so schlecht, hätte aber besser sein können und auch die Hintergrundmusik passt nicht wirklich dazu.

Overall a really cozy but cultural atmosphere - ideal for group visits with either friends or families. Fair prices, delicious food & friendly staff. I would recommend this place for anyone who is either curious about Persian cuisine or already familiar with their delicious varieties.

Das Lamm ist sehr gut zubereitet und gewürzt. Knoblauch Naan mit den drei Soßen ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Bier war verhältnismäßig günstig. Gerichte können geschmackstechnisch vielseitig sein - von süß bis scharf.

The food was beyond expectation.. the lamb shank was bigger than expected.. the rice proportion looks less but it is just enough for one person per dish,, some men might need extra rice.. the lamb was also quite good in taste.. the dessert was underwhelming though.. we ordered for ferni,, it's supposed to be rice pudding but Persian version,. I was actually excited for the dish to have a touch of saffron in it as it said on the menu,, but it was basically a vanilla Panna Cotta.. yes, that tasted good, but not what I ordered.. The staff service depends on your luck,,.. when we walked in, there were tables free and we were given seats but in a tad rude manner as if we are not gonna pay and he is forced upon to be hospitable.. but the man who took our order was very hospitable and I have observed other waiters at work and they were more hospitable and I even wished I sat under their section.. The atmosphere was very cosy and elegant even.. a difficult combination but they managed to nail it..

Bedienung freundlich. Sehr kleine Fleischportionen (Lamm am Spieß hatte vielleicht 100 Gramm), Kaum gewürzt. Brot, das normal warm serviert wird war kalt aus der Packung. Zu dritt 136 EUR - deutlich zu teuer. Wir gehen nicht wieder hin.

Ottimo ristorante, facile da raggiungere, un cambiamento decisamente benvenuto rispetto al cibo tradizionale bavarese che dopo un po’ stanca. Drink gustosi, antipasto da condividere con un po’ di tutto molto apprezzato (specialmente le melanzane), piatti principali davvero saporiti. Mia mamma ha preso una zuppa a base di spinaci, io e mia sorella ci siamo divise un piatto a base di pollo e riso (DELIZIOSO, tornerò e prenderò solo quello) e un piatto con la carne kebab che invece ho apprezzato di meno, specialmente in confronto al pollo, ma era cucinato bene, è solo questione di gusti. Piccola scelta di amari. Ambiente intimo nonostante i tanti tavoli presenti. Consiglio decisamente.

I saw this nice restaurant in a central location in Munich one evening but it was impossible to get a table without reservation. This time I did so and my patience paid off definitely: a delicious food experience with a rich and interesting taste direction. Everybody was happy, including children and people who never tried food from other countries.

This spot isn’t what it sounds like by reviews. If you’re Iranian and you know what’s a good kabob, stay away from this place. The service was fine, staff are friendly, but it doesn’t compensate the low food quality. I had a bite of my Barg kabob and left it there, asked for check. The meat smells like it’s been sitting there for a few weeks. They’ve steered melted butter on the kabob to make it better, but still… Anyway, it sounds like a pretty busy place and good job if they’re keeping the business running at this food quality.

The food there is very good. We ordered different dishes and everybody liked his/her order. It was a bit overcrowded on Saturday evening and at times looked chaotic. But overall, the staff hendled it well.

Volle Punktzahl, anders kann man es nicht sagen. Das Essen hervorragend, guter Service und angenehmes Ambiente. Eine Reservierung ist auch unter der Woche zu empfehlen, da der Laden gut besucht ist am Abend.

Il cibo è molto buono e le porzioni generose rispetto al listino prezzi. Ho preso un piatto della selezione della casa: coscia di pollo con salsa al melograno e noci e riso aromatizzato con spezie e frutta. Il locale era molto affollato, meglio prenotare online come abbiamo fatto noi. Unico neo: un'attesa infinita e ingiustificata, anche a fronte del pienone. 50 minuti d'attesa per due piatti davvero un po' troppi, soprattutto perché siamo stati lasciati a noi stessi e abbiamo dovuto sollecitare più volte per avere notizie della comanda.

They have really good food. But we waited almost an hour for our food which I find kinds upsetting. They should have told us that the good will come a bit later to ease the situation however they just ignored us and we needed to ask for our food after an hour. But in general, if you are willing to wait, their definitely is definitely worth to try😍

War schon mehrmals im Shandiz, zuletzt vor einigen Monaten, hat mit der Zeit nachgelassen, dieselben Gerichte schmecken spürbar weniger als noch vor 2-3 Jahren. Der Service ist etwas hektisch geworden. Die Einführung eines 2h-Fensters für die Reservierung ist eine unverzeihliche Unart. Während man noch beim Essen bzw. beim Ausklingen ist, reihen sich schon die Gäste des nächsten Zeitfensters vorzeitig im Entree auf und lugen direkt auf deinen Tisch, wann er denn frei wird. Die Betreiber sollten den Betrieb lieber auf ein Imbisslokal umstellen. Fazit: Essen nur noch mäßiger Durchschnitt, Gastlichkeit massiv abgebaut, kaum eine Empfehlung wert!

We really enjoyed the food and the service and would come back again if we are back in Munich. Portion size was definitely big enough for everyone and reservation worked very well although we arrived half an hour earlier than booked.
