Been there several times a day now. Recently with a larger group. First: our waitress that evening was great - super friendly & really attentive. If the weather permits, you can also sit outside directly above/on the Ems. But: unfortunately the food has been just “okay” lately. The whole group shared this opinion. My Pizza Italia tasted mainly of the oil from the dried tomatoes. Unfortunately, when the restaurant is full, it is also very loud and the previous (?) staff were often overwhelmed by the number of guests.

Never again... the beer was stale, a long dark hair on my pizza 🤮 the fries were cold and partly raw 😖

We have been to Täglich essen several times and have always been quite satisfied. Today, however, everything just went wrong. We have previously reserved a table for 4 people + 1 toddler with a high chair. When we arrived, all the high chairs were occupied and it was not possible to put a high chair at our table because it was much too high. When we asked for another table we were told we could only sit separately, which of course was out of the question. Other guests kindly swapped tables with us but the high chair problem was not solved. My two year old son ended up having to sit on my lap and it was just uncomfortable. The noise level was also unpleasant and the buffet was always empty when I was able to go. In the future, this won't be a daily occurrence for us...

The three of us had breakfast in December. Each of us was absolutely thrilled - by what was on offer: bread, rolls, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, cheese, fruit salad, pudding/yoghurt, even salads and raw vegetables to put together yourself - dips, jam, different juices... There really was nothing left to be desired - not even for the vegetarian. Thanks It was really very busy that morning and what actually took a long time was the coffee - the machine makes great coffee specialties, but when it's full, that's really very little with one machine. Sometimes there were ten people standing in front of me waiting for coffee. It takes quite a while for everyone to get their coffee. I had to wait in line just as long for the tea water, which was annoying when the scrambled eggs on the plate got cold. When I caught up, I first got the tea and then the food - but I simply underestimated the first course. The service for us was first class. 🙂🙃🙂 It was always cleared up in between and asked if everything was satisfactory. I found a few plates on the buffet that still had some dirt on them, that can happen - I just put them on the counter and let the waitress know. They were immediately taken to the kitchen - with a thank you for the tip. In any case, we were so satisfied and thrilled that I just ordered the next table for February. And we're really looking forward to it.

For someone who comes from the Osnabrück area, it is a successful change.

We went out to eat on a Monday evening, there wasn't much going on and the employees were obviously playing on their cell phones. The food was ready and just sat under the heat lamp for a little over 10 minutes, even though the bell rang 5 times. When asked if it could be remade again (because it was obviously cold after 10 minutes), it was only accepted with a laugh and very reluctantly and replaced after several requests.

Staff super friendly Food wasn't my cup of tea, the nachos with cheese gratin were soft and the cheese was only there in tiny little dots, so not really at all. Expected something better for the prices. But the service was great and wanted to bring me a new portion straight away, but I was "served"😊

Unfortunately the impression of the location wasn't great. The table was sticky and we waited a long time for the food. The shrimp pan was runny and oily. The shrimp weren't cooked properly at all. My husband's meal, baked potato with salad, was also not tasty. The potato was lukewarm, the salad was bland and bland. We didn't finish both dishes and also complained to the waitress during the payment process. There was nothing more than a “Oh, that’s a shame.” We had to pay the full price. We definitely won't be visiting this location again.

As always, we were there on Boxing Day with 12 people. What should we say? You can see that it is getting worse from year to year. The buffet is not for vegans and not for people who don't eat pork. The rolls were baked hard and if something was gone, it was gone for a long time. At some point all the cups were gone and then nothing came. There were 2 waitresses and the place was full. This is where you save money at the wrong end. We were all of the opinion that next year we would go somewhere else for brunch. We always look forward to breakfast together that day and nothing can offer more on a daily basis. The buffet is no longer wow. It's all normal. At the You can get nicer plates from the bakery next door. Then you wait 15 minutes for a knife and the plates are not put away. You sit there the whole time and wait until you can go again. Orange juice was out and stayed that way afterwards. Catastrophic

Unfortunately very disappointed with the service, we waited 1 hour for our food, a red-haired employee was very unfriendly, you can understand if someone is having a bad day, but she was cheeky and had to wait 1 hour for ONE pasta

Friendly service, good service, delicious food and a great ambience. It really invites you to linger.

For the drinks ordered (Redbull from the can and Spezi) When the Redbull was poured into a glass, there was no more carbon dioxide in it and it was warm. It's complaining at a high level, but I think drinks should be cold, and where sparkling water is included, it should be included. The so-called Spezi was Schwipschwap which is NOT the same thing! It was then discussed that it was the same thing. The sauce was also forgotten when I ordered the warp, of course it can happen sometimes but it's not great... The ambience is very dark which makes eating a little uncomfortable. Overall it was ok. We are less inclined to a second visit.

This afternoon we had dinner with our group. The employees were very friendly. We all had to pay separately and we needed a separate receipt for our clients, but that was absolutely no problem for her. I would like to come back again in private.

Totally nice shop and really nice service! But I won't eat here again. The price-performance ratio is not good at all 😂 But we'll definitely stop by in the summer for a drink with a view of the Ems.

I was invited there for the breakfast buffet. Food was good, selection was also good. There were two things I didn't like that much. Warm foods like scrambled eggs or bacon weren't really warm. The coffee machine is just too slow. Waiting in line for almost 15 minutes for a coffee does not correspond to my understanding of having breakfast with friends. The ambience was nice, unfortunately there were a few staff for the many guests.

I was there for breakfast with a friend in November. The online reservation went well and the staff was also very friendly. However, we missed fish and fruit at the breakfast buffet. One can certainly argue about fish for breakfast, but fruit definitely belongs in a breakfast buffet. I then also asked for fruit. (Unfortunately, I have dietary restrictions and wasn't allowed to eat a lot of the buffet anyway). The answer was that they had had bad experiences in the recent past; Often the fruit was bad or apples were mealy, for example). I couldn't really understand it; since the fresh fruit harvest is in November. It's a shame, otherwise it was pretty nice there. For the price, fruit is simply a must for breakfast for me.

I've eaten there twice so far, each time it was very nice and always tasted very good. Above all, what really impressed me was the waitress (Sabrina), such a great, friendly, competent woman. Even when things are hectic, she keeps a cool head and likes to take time for the customers, like short small talk ☺️, I had never seen such great service before. I'd love to come back, it's worth it ☺️

The buffet breakfast is great and has a lot of choice. What I really like is that hot and cold drinks are included in the price. The staff are very friendly. Thank you for the service

Your opening times do not match those on the internet. Was on November 15th-16th. In 2024 there at around 12:40 a.m., I was then told by the staff that the opening times weren't correct, they only apply to guests present, but there were at least 6 people still sitting in the shop. 🤷

Well the breakfast is really good, so we went for lunch today. I ordered a Jägerschnitzel. with fries and mayo. When I got the plate, lo and behold, the mayo hair was great but then it was exchanged. Then I tried the schnitzel fries oh where were the 10 pieces of fries on the plate but even the schnitzel for 17 euros couldn't save the day it was hard and dry. Sorry, I've never had such bad food. I then had to pay a lot of money for that. The beer was ok but that's all. We won't eat there anymore.

Service was good, but there was very little going on. The food is a disgrace! Everything is just frozen food, the schnitzel is definitely not fresh. The potato wedges were super soft and the freshly tapped wheat tasted stale. I won't pay any more money for something like that!

This was my second time at Daily for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. On my first visit I had pasta that tasted like it came from a discount store. The second time I had a tortilla pan and it was delicious. The portion size was great. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was also good. I'd love to come back

The food is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were eating with several people and the drinks came in stages.

Overall, a classic shopping email a la U.S. with cafeteria, ice cream parlor, electrical, decoration and clothing stores. The prices are like everywhere else, but what you have to say - it was really super clean everywhere. The food at the Asian snack bar on the 1st floor was a dream.

Recently I visted this place for lunch (buffet). You can enter this restaurant through the shopping center (Emsgalarie) or from the pathway along the Ems River. It’s possible to sit outside (if it’s sunny and warm) with a view of the Ems River. Inside the restaurant is pleasant and spacious to have a relaxing meal. The lunch buffet has a great selection of food, well presented and delicious. The service personnel (two ladies) were very friendly and efficient. They looked after the customers very well. There was only one male service personal (may be the manager) who didn’t have a smile on his face, and I had a feeling that a good customer service is not important for him. I also noticed that some of his conversations with his colleagues were unfriendly and inharmonious.

Even though we were a very large group, it worked great and the food was very good.

Nice ambience, food is average, service below average. You should also check the herb pots; I had thick, yellow eggs on my mint leaf in the Mamacita.

Could be something... So it doesn't hurt if you clean the tables in the restaurant every now and then...

The location is nice, right on the river. The waiter took our order with a yawn and ordered pasta with sauce and steak with pepper sauce, salad and potato wedges. the pasta was good, the steak was also medium medium, the pepper sauce was unfortunately nothing (thick mush) so I would use another ready-made product, or maybe make it myself? Standard salad with yogurt dressing, nothing special either.

Only nice staff, but a very long wait for food

I was in Rheine on Friday for the breakfast buffet. The buffet is very extensive and the staff was friendly and had everything under control. Despite the high number of visitors, all dishes were immediately cleaned up and dishes were always available. I have absolutely nothing to complain about and will happily visit this in Rheine again every day.

It's nice to be able to sit outside in the evening on a warm summer day. However, cleaning the tables should be a matter of course and not only done at the request of the guests.

Everything was completely satisfactory, the only thing I have to complain about is that the way to the toilets is very long!

Nice restaurant, staff shortage like everywhere else. The waitress was very nice but when ordering, her eyes are never on the guest, only on the device for the order. Still very nice. Are the toilets only available in the Ems Gallery?

We are very satisfied every time. The The food is great, as is the friendly service. The restaurant is also very nicely and comfortably furnished. This evening we were there again, the food was delicious as usual and we were served quickly and friendly, a special thank you to Sabrina, such a lovely, nice person, just great. We always like to come.

I asked my cheeseburger to be done. Unfortunately it was raw inside and so inedible for me. And that, even though we waited about 1.5 hours for our food (but that was communicated beforehand). Our drinks were also warm. The fries were also only lukewarm. Outside, the lamps right next to the guests are full of thick spider webs and animals hanging in them. Right next to my food. They urgently need to be wiped down. Overall, an unconvincing evening.

Great breakfast buffet at a reasonable price

Bad service or no service. Saturday evening 9:30 p.m., four people would like to order cocktails. You are ignored, other tables are cleared and served. When asked when the order would be taken, the young lady simply walked to another table. Got up and went to the extra paper, at least there is still service and good drinks!

We weren't served until we had to call a cellar's attention to us. The drinks came after about 20 minutes even though there was only one table occupied besides us. Drinks were then brought, but were obviously stale (beer crown completely collapsed...). In order to pay I had to go to the counter and ask for service. When we were told that we had been waiting for service for quite a while, the response was absolutely indifferent or not at all. More than drinks was not possible due to the lack of service.

Had dinner there with 2 families today. The fries were OK. I had the barbecue chicken pizza. Me and two others tried it and they all said the same thing on the pizza: there was too much sauce, it just tasted like barbecue and you couldn't taste the rest. Ok so left pizza behind. Then the others saw that a very long hair was left in the sauce from the pizza bread. We found what came next very strange when we wanted to pay and the waiter asked us if it was tasty and we said the problems only came in cash or with a card. Honestly, why does he even ask...... well then just leave almost 50€ there and we won't be able to do that anymore. PS: We've been there several times.

Very nice staff, but unfortunately not very attentive. Maybe it was the weather, but pulled pork became chilli cheese fries.....😅 but was replaced by real food. However, the others had already finished eating.👍 The food is very tasty.

My first visit to "Daily" and I wasn't disappointed, Both the food and the ambience right on the Ems are great. The menu offers a large selection of different dishes, there is something for everyone. I would particularly like to emphasize the extremely friendly and courteous service (I think Sabrina was on the name tag), I have rarely felt so comfortable in a restaurant, simply top class. Both the drinks and the food came to the table very quickly. A successful evening and definitely not my last visit!

The atmosphere is beautifully located on the Ems. The store should be running properly. But now again after another visit there is a very long waiting time and you can't blame that on the lack of staff. I think it's a big organizational problem who does what. The service was not very motivated, I can only put it as unfriendly to impossible, we sat on the terrace. We weren't asked if you wanted anything else, so we tried to order something else - you had the feeling that you were annoying as a guest. There is an urgent need to speak up and be trained.

Ambiance is very nice but that's about it. We had a lunch buffet here and unfortunately almost all of the food was cold. Something was always missing and you had to wait a long time for it to be refilled. Since we only had an hour lunch break, it wasn't worth it and we went back to work hungry. Service was in place but did not accept a complaint.

Food was good as always. But this time I only had one fries. Even though there was nothing going on in the evening, we waited for 30 minutes until we were asked if we wanted something to drink. There were four of us and we all had cocktails, which we also waited 50 minutes for All 4 were wrong. Then we waited again until we could order the 2, same mistakes as the first time. Then we wanted to pay and it took so long that we went in.

Highly recommended. Very tasty food, arrived promptly when there wasn't too much going on. And you can sit comfortably on or above the Ems. I will stop there often.

More appearance than reality. The performance is very poor compared to the ambience and the external impression. I've been there three times so far, each time waiting for over an hour and a half for comparatively very bad food. The staff there is not very accommodating and unfriendly. Not recommendable.

. We had the lunch buffet! All dishes were cold. Schnitzel, sauces, fries, pasta and vegetables!! Drinks were only available after we had been sitting for quite a while and only when we ordered using the QR code!! The ambience is only nice when you sit on the Ems...lg

I've been there over 5 times now and there are always problems with the bill and even getting it. I wanted to pay with a voucher today, but that didn't work either (only cash payment)

We were here for “Running Appetite”. Reception very friendly. Weissbier far below the calibration mark. Mixed beers plenty of lemonade. Bruschetta was ok, but lacked salt, pepper and oil. With the second wheat beer we suddenly got light and dark. After we informed us, the waitress took the dark wheat beer back and offered us the light wheat beer. Then another waiter came and brought the dark beer back and said that the other wheat beer was out. Bottled alternatives were not offered or are not in the range. Atmosphere outside is very nice. In retrospect, it's surprising that you end up giving a tip.

People are served in front of you despite the simplest order that only includes drinks. Big disappointment, although there was a lot of service, the well-known young girls at the next table preferred to be served.

The food wasn't bad. However, you wait a good 1.5 hours for it. You also have to wait a long time for drinks that don't require much effort to prepare (beer, juice, tea, etc.). After half an hour we asked where the drinks were and the waiter just said that half (2 drinks out of 4) were ready. But that doesn't help us because we still have to wait for it. The service was also very unfriendly.

Food is mass produced all you can eat quality. Avoid this place please!

I've been there a total of three times now. Every time a pure disappointment in the service and the kitchen. We waited half an hour for drinks like tea or beer, while others who ordered after us got drinks like Aperol or cocktails. All they said was that the Aperol wasn't complicated. Another time the food (schnitzel) arrived burnt and we sent it back to the kitchen. The only statement that came out was "The chef says it wasn't burned," although that was very obscure and several people confirmed it. Simply outrageous.

You can't even get 2 beers, tea and hot chocolate here. Everyone around you is served and 4 drinks take over half an hour. After it was brought up, no apology just a false justification that cocktails take time?? Then we canceled the order and didn't even get an apology or anything like that. Impudence, that was the last time.

Ordering (food) takes more than an hour, for the fourth time it's already happened. To drink yes, never eat again.
