Absolutely delicious. Best Greek restaurant I know. Fantastic team, and it's become our second home.

This is an absolutely fantastic venue. The bartender is authentic, funny, flexible, and has the place completely under control without being intrusive. The food was very good. Overall, we had a wonderful evening.

We wanted to visit the bar for an evening drink and were pleasantly surprised with a fantastic Tabar Spritz – highly recommended! They also have karaoke every other Saturday. It was great fun listening to everyone sing. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay long; we really enjoyed ourselves!

A small but charming neighborhood bar and restaurant in the heart of Moabit. You'll feel right at home here. Sany and René treat their guests to delicious Greek food and great drinks. Live concerts, comedy shows, and karaoke nights complete the atmosphere.

I was there for karaoke, which was great, but I was still hungry. The olives with bread alone are delicious. I'll definitely come back for a "proper" dinner. NOTE: You should definitely make a reservation beforehand because it's really small.

The Tabar Bar is a special place with a stylish, inviting ambiance where you immediately feel at home. The owners, Sunn y and René, are two warm-hearted people who inspire with their passion and experience. René puts you in a good mood with his humor and lighthearted quips, while Sunny impresses with her culinary skills: Her Greek specialties are so authentic that you'll hardly find them better in Greece. We always enjoy coming here for dinner and are already looking forward to experiencing the legendary parties. Highly recommended!

Must visit spot for amazing Greek food. We’ve just had an incredible night at Tabar hosted by the amazing owner, Sunny! We arrived very late for dinner as we finished at Vabali around 10PM. Sunny very kindly agreed to cook for us whilst also hosting an awesome karaoke party with her regular customers. The food Sunny produced was perfect. Delicious hummus and vegetable platter, great souvlaki with potatoes and all the small dishes and dips tasted so good. The beer and drinks were brilliant too! We can’t wait to book another trip to Berlin to return to Tabar!

My friends and I had the most wonderful time at Tabar. The owners are exceedingly kind and served excellent Greek food as well as drinks and coffee. They were hosting a karaoke night which drew a fun group of folks. Their hospitality went above and beyond and was a highlight of our trip to Berlin. Would highly recommend a visit.

Hard to believe but true. Three months ago we reserved a table here for the coming weekend. And now we get a cancellation four days before the date because we were surprised to find out that Easter is coming soon 🐣 and of course we'll close there. Wow! That's what we think...👎👎👎 👎

Tabar is a cozy bar & restaurant that doesn't look like most Greek restaurants, but much more like a laid back bar that also serves food. We were surprised by this and a little confused, lol. But the food we had was delicious and authentic. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for good Greek food in the city.

Was there yesterday for karaoke evening. Had a huge party. I haven't sung so much and had so much fun in a long time. The whole team was very warm and friendly and I will definitely go back. Small and fine. Thank you for the lovely evening!!! Update: I've been there a total of 3 times now and René, Sany and the entire team just make you feel at home. Now I'm definitely curious to see what the food is like. René, I'll definitely come over for dinner sometime 😉👌🏻 By the way, you deserve at least 10 stars if they existed 🤗🎉 Another lovely evening with karaoke and this time also food came to an end after a 9 hour stay. After a really delicious Tabar plate (the meat was very tender and very well seasoned. I won't even start with the homemade tzatziki because it makes your mouth water 🤤🤤🤤) By the way, I still have no voice today, 2 days later, and I'm looking forward to the next evening with you 🥰

I was there with a large group of 39 students. A small kitchen, so we had to wait a very long time. She had already indicated that before, but stubborn as we are... We had a delicious meal there! Excellent service and the atmosphere was good. Well done!

A real discovery in Alt-Moabit! Various events take place here (corporations, karaoke), I was only there to eat. As a kind of greeting from the kitchen, there are very good olives. Hot flatbread with the dolmadakia, tender skewers with delicious potato wedges, optionally you can also have noodles with it. Wonderful!

Perfect! I was there one evening with live music from NoisyGlam and I really enjoyed it. Everyone is very nice and friendly, the food tastes very good and the ambience is great! I'll be back

Cute and authentic little Greek place in a vibrant part of Berlin. We absolutely loved our dinner here and would highly recommend it to anyone who is after some authentic Greek food. I particularly loved the fish roe that was served with warm bread. Perfect with a glass of white wine recommended by the chef.

Class instead of quantity! The preliminary prices are all excellent. Prepared carefully and with love, delicately and beautifully presented. As an alternative to Retsina, I recommend the Mostra for the summer!

We went to the bar at around 9 p.m. and left at 4 a.m. That says a lot! It was a karaoke evening and the atmosphere was great. The bar is rather small, the people know each other and that makes it very familiar. We were welcomed very warmly and at the end we sang. The evening will be remembered and so will the people we met there. Thank you René!

We had a nice meal. Four of us shared a plate of different appetizers which was very tasty (highly recommend this). The main courses were good as well, and the atmosphere was really nice. Good service too.

Sympathische, freundliche und gemütliche Bar sowie gleichzeitig Restaurant mit hausgemachter griechischer Küche. Am frühen Abend kann man auch in eine unterhaltsame Comedyshow geraten ( Often in English) oder Samstags in ein kleines Live-Konzert. Obwohl das Lokal nicht besonders groß ist , passt das jeweils alles atmosphärisch. Die Leute sind freundlich und das frisch gezapfte schmeckt auch.

Durch einen bekannten Gutschein-Anbieter sind wir, weil es in der Nähe unseres gebuchten Hotels liegt, auf diese wunderbare kleine Bar gestoßen. Es ist ein Platz zum wohlfühlen, der Empfang durch die Eigentümer ist sehr herzlich und wir sind restlos begeistert, was die Chefin in der Küche zaubert. Wir entschieden uns für das Tsaziki und den nicht zu überbietenden Auberginensalat - Sany danke für leckere Momente - danach gab es beim 1. Besuch die Hähnchen Souvlaki und beim 2. Mal die Meze-Platte und sehr leckeren Oktopus. Wir bedanken uns noch einmal für eure Herzlichkeit und wenn wir wieder in Berlin sind kommen wir zu euch.

Super freundliche Besitzer, Service flink, freundlich, aufmerksam, liebenswert. Essen griechisch angehaucht, Chefin kocht selbst. Ohne viel schnick schnack, aber empfehlenswert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Tabar-Bar ist ein kleines, aber dafür umso schöneres Lokal mit wunderbaren Sonderangeboten: Live-Musik, Comedy und weitere Künste. Auf der Mini-Bühne im "Schaufenster" finden zwei bis maximal drei Künstler ihren Platz und an den Tischen etwa 30 Gäste. Bei Bedarf werden weitere Stühle gestellt. Im Sommer kann man auch vor der Tür sitzen und gelegentlich finden Auftritte auch quasi auf dem Gehweg statt. Die Speisen aus vorwiegend griechischer Küche sind lecker und sehen auch sehr schön aus. Serviert werden sie von sehr freundlichen Menschen mit Herz und Humor. Ein sehr gemütlicher Ort, wenn man nicht hunderte Leute um sich herum haben möchte und die Wohlfühlatmosphäre zu schätzen weiß oder sie dort einfach kennenlernt.

I had heard about the Greek food here from my daughter. She said a mother cooks in the kitchen with LOVE. I had to try it. What a great experience.
