Once again, the food was delicious, and I received a super friendly welcome and service.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic; we've been coming here for years. The food is great and of high quality, and the service is truly outstanding: we're always greeted warmly and kindly. If only everything in Berlin were like this!

Larger groups should look for another restaurant, as both the service and the kitchen are hopelessly overwhelmed. However, couples at the other tables were also made to wait; two couples each left after their appetizers. Despite the restaurant being full, the waitress took the time to chat, which meant she "forgot" to work. As for the food: the green beans were undercooked, the rosemary potatoes were flavorless, the tzatziki lacked seasoning, the salad dressing was watery... I'm sorry about our evening, our time, and our money. We tried it twice, were disappointed twice, and now the restaurant is history!

A lovely restaurant. I like that some of the plaster on the walls is missing. Delicious lamb shank. Very tender. The meat practically falls off the bone.

Definitely not a recommendation. The service was abysmal, the food mediocre at best. This was our second time here with a larger group (10-12 people) – and it was another disaster. We had to wait an incredible 2.5 hours for the main course, only to be served lukewarm food at times. After that long wait, you simply don't have any appetite for almost cold gyro. On top of that, orders were taken incorrectly. Drinks were forgotten several times – in the end, we had to go to the bar ourselves to get anything at all. The appetizer dishes and empty glasses were piled up on the table, only partially cleared, and the rest simply left standing. Despite this obvious overwork, the staff continued to seat more and more guests instead of tending to those already waiting. One thing is for sure: Never again! If it hadn't been for a special occasion, we would have left much sooner.

We were there with six people. The service seemed unmotivated, and we had to raise our own voices to order. It's a shame; we've been there several times, but the service has deteriorated a little each time. We won't be back anytime soon and will try other restaurants.

Today, June 4, 2025, I bought two gyro plates to take out. The meat smelled very unpleasant. It wasn't crispy at all, even though I had specifically requested it when ordering. The meat was unseasoned and absolutely inedible. We had to throw away the entire order. It's a shame that so little attention is paid to quality, especially given the high prices.

Today we tried Nea Olympia for the first time and were very impressed. As vegetarians, we really enjoyed it. The service is super friendly and makes a real effort to please their guests. The price/performance ratio is more than fair. The portions are very generous and filling. The restaurant is very cozy and inviting. It's also very suitable for larger groups. Personally, I only have one small criticism: it's very loud inside. But that's a personal preference, of course. We'll definitely be back :)

Some of the food was inedible. The appetizer plate included cold canned beans. The squid was truly awful.

Unauffällig an der großem Straße Unter den Eichen neben der BAM findet man das Nea Olympia, einen der empfehlenswertesten Griechen in Berlin. Im Familienbetrieb werden in ansprechendem Ambiente schmackhafte griechische Gerichte, die z.T. auch handwerklich aufwändige sind, zubereitet. Das Vorspeisenangebot ist sehr umfangreich, so das man auch ohne Hauptspeisen bei einer gemütlichen Familienfeier oder einem Abend mit Freunden auskommen kann. So sind die Melitzanobourekakia - panierte Auberginenröllchen mit Schafskäse gefüllt - und die Kolokithokeftedes (frittierte Zucchini-Käsebällchen) sehr empfehlenswert sowie, für mich das High light, Arni Exochiko, ein Stück Lammkeule, gefüllt mit Kräutern und Halloumi in einer Zitronen-Weißweinsauce, mit Kartoffeln, serviert in einem Papierschwan (Hauptgericht). Da die Portionen durchaus angemessen sind, ist eine genaue Planung der eigenen Kapazität erforderlich oder man bedient sich an der kleinen Auswahl an "Mikro"-Gerichten, die auch für Erwachsene erhältlich sind. Es gibt eine gute Wein- und Bierauswahl. Im Sommer kann man den Außenbereich trotz der großen Straße gut nutzen auch wenn die Aussicht eher beschränkt ist. Eine Reservierung zu den Hauptzeiten ist unbedingt ratsam.

One of the best Greeks in the area for many years (for me). A family business from Thessaloniki. Very friendly service, ouzo as a welcome. Delicious extensive food. Such as various mezes, gyros, moussakas, souvlakia, lamb like Arni Exochico and fish specialties. There was also a changing daily menu with deliciously selected dishes such as salmon or entrecôte, which was super tender. A Greek wine is also recommended. Of course you can also order everything to take away. There is no delivery service. Tuesday is a rest day. We always enjoy going there.

We ate here for two on a Friday evening at the typical dinner time without a reservation and were very happy to get a seat. The reception was friendly and the welcome ouzo soon followed, which made us very happy. The menu is extensive and there are also some vegetarian dishes, which is not always the case with Greeks. The classic gyros plate with tzatziki, gyros & fries was a sufficient portion. I think it's good value for money. I noticed that the gyro wasn't streaky or oily at all, which definitely speaks for the restaurant 👌🏼 The service could perhaps have been a little more attentive, but for us it was completely bearable to wait a bit or have to point out another drink order on our own. To pay cashless we also had to walk to the front of the bar, which by today's standards could be easily changed by converting to a portable EC device. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and the food tasted very good. We would come back 👍🏼

It is a good Greek restaurant. I ate shrimp with grilled vegetables. It comes with a small salad. It was very good, I liked, well cooked, well seasoned.

Culinary simply unspectacular for Lichterfelde! Not recommended for a larger group of 15 people. At the beginning you were totally overwhelmed. It was ordered à la cart and the host decided to serve platters, although the price increase was not discussed beforehand. You were confronted with it at the end. Just not particularly sensitive at a funeral service. It was an experience for Lichterfelde.

We ordered buffet at Nea Olympia for our garden party with 85 people. We left the selection and composition to the extremely friendly owner couple. And it was overwhelming. Lavishly warm and cold: the typical Greek meat variations (of very good quality), varied salads, side dishes, starters. A feast for the eyes in chafing dishes and on serving platters, including serving cutlery, delivered on time. All the guests purred. It was like being on Olympus. And: when we asked, we were put in touch with two Greek musicians who traditionally accompanied and enchanted the afternoon. Top recommendation for this restaurant!

Good outside area, but - maybe the chef just wasn't having a good day - my dish was the worst and poorest Greek food in recent years. And clearly too expensive for that. The service is friendly, but could be more attentive.

A nice family restaurant in Lichterfelde. Quality is good. acceptable in price. The starter plate contains everything you would like for a vegetarian meal (okay, fish rye is also included).

Main course was very tasty!!! However, the salad was bland and there was little dressing available. We had to wait a long time for the starter and the bill. No eye contact whatsoever when saying goodbye. As a guest, I didn't feel polite at that moment.

Very good atmosphere, not so loud, so you could understand each other well and have conversations together at the table without shouting. Enjoy your meal. Normally when we eat Greek we get ouzo at the beginning or at the end, which was missing here!🙃

I was new to Greek cuisine but this restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The service was very nice. Although it's probably necessary to make a reservation before coming, the personnel quickly found a table for us. All the food was very tasty, the portions are really big (can be ordered for 2 people in most cases) and worth it's money. Meze Teller and Moussaka are very delicious. So, I can only recommend this place.

After we got wanderlust, we decided to go out for Greek food, even though we've often had bad experiences there. We were even more pleasantly surprised. We have often been on holiday in Greece and have to say that Nea Olympia really tastes like Greece. There is a plentiful selection of hot and cold mezedes as well as delicious looking main courses. We chose a selection of Mezedes and were thrilled. We will be back definitely.

Tolles Essen und nettes Ambiente

Super Essen; gleichbleibend hervorragende Qualität über einen langen Zeitraum bei moderaten Preisen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Ein sehr nettes und typisch griechisches Restaurant. Die Karte bietet alle üblichen griechischen Spezialitäten. Der Service ist freundlich, die Portionen üppig und die Preise hierfür angemessen. Wir werden in jedem Fall wieder kommen.

Ich war mit Freunden dort essen. Wird ja mal Zeit die Restaurants in der eigenen Wohngegend auszutesten ^^ Der Grieche hier hat ein solides Angebot, normale Preise und ein gemütliches Ambiente. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Wartezeiten sind schwer in Ordnung. Von außen etwas unscheinbar. Das Knoblauchbrot war erste Sahne. Knusprig und sehr gut belegt. Gyros mit Pommes und Tzatziki war ebenfalls sehr lecker und das Tartofu...mhh lecker. Mit Knoblauch wird hier nicht gespart, das sei an der Stelle gesagt :D. Ouzo gab es gleich zu Beginn. Das würde ich so als Verbesserungsvorschlag am Ende anbieten. ;-) Wir waren alle zufrieden und würden wieder kommen. Freundlich, entspannt, schöne Atmosphäre und leise griechische Musik. Man findet besondere Speisen, die nicht überteuert sind und lecker schmecken.

Das Essen hier ist wirklich griechisch. Es ist jedesmal wie ein kleiner Urlaubstrip. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu Euch.

Das Gyros war gut. Ich hatte gefülltes Hähnchenfleisch mit Tomate und Schafskäse. War nicht gut. Den Käse musste man suchen, Fleisch etwas verbruzzelt. Alles andere war ok. Bedienung sehr freundlich, Preise gerade so ok.

Waren nochmals dort, alles wie immer sehr nett, das Essen leider nicht, mein Lueblings- Gyros bestellt, leider sehr trocken und zu klein geschnitten. Schade

Das Lamm war super... leider haben wir bei kalten Heizungen gesessen, was es wirklich unangenehm machte. Getränke konnten wir leider auch nicht nachordern, da es niemanden interessiert hat. Selbst zum Bezahlen mussten wir nach vorn gehen, da keiner zu sehen war.

Wir waren aufgr. einer Veranstaltun in der Nähe und haben Samstag Abend spontan angefragt. Aufgrund des schönen Wetters fand die Bewirtung draußen statt (man kann auch drin sitzen, fetzt aber bei dem Wetter nicht). Es scheint Familiengeführt zu sein, Mutter und Vater sind engagierter als der Sohn (der bekommt nur 4 Sterne :-D). Das Essen wurde zeitnah serviert, Knoblauchbrot absolut zu empfehlen (aber nicht, wenn man am nächsten Tag wichtige Termine hat). Wir hatten Hähnchenbrustfilet, gefüllt mit Tomate, Feta, serviert auf Honigsoße. War sehr gut. Mit 2 Vorspeisen, 2 Hauptgängen, 1 Weißwein, 1 Fanta, 1 griechisches Bier (Mythos), haben wir (inkl. Trinkgeld), 63 € bezahlt. Anmerkung: Rauchen im Außenbereich ist gestattet. Sonst schmeckt der Ouzo nicht ;-)

Nettes Restaurant mit Außenbereich, das Essen war sehr lecker und der Teller war ausreichend belegt. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Ouzo was sehr nett war, was ich weniger gut fand und etwas enttäuscht war, das man uns auf Verlangen der Rechnung bald eine halbe Stunde warten lassen hat ( wurden evtl. vergessen ). Nach dem Bezahlen und einem üppigen Trinkgeld wurden wir nicht mal gefragt ob wir noch einen Ouzo möchten. Essen super, aber Service und Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienung war an diesem Tag nicht gut.

Das Essen ist guter Standard, allerdings sollte man Geduld mitbringen, da es sehr lange dauert, bis das Essen auf dem Tisch steht. Bestellen & mitnehmen geht schneller.

Der Service war grottenschlecht. Wir mussten schon darum betteln überhaupt bestellen zu dürfen und mit der Bezahlung mussten wir dem Personal auch hinterher laufen. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen ☹️☹️☹️

Sogar ein sonst sehr sehr kritischer Familienangehöriger, was Speisen und Restaurants betrifft, war äußerst begeistert. Das Essen ist wirklich gut und die Preise angemessen. Das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent. Extrawünsche werden sofort umgesetzt und das mehr als zufriedenstellend. Auch nach dem 3. Besuch sind wir zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir Lust auf gute griechische Kost haben.

Jedzenie suche ,długie czekanie na jedzenie żadnej oliwy oliwek a z tego szczególnie słynie Grecja z porównaniem do prawdziwych greckich restauracji w Berlinie posiada tylko nazwę . Nie polecam za cenę w tej restauracji można znaleźć lepsze jedzenie .

Ein wirklich toller Grieche unter familiärer Leitung. Das Essen ist wirklich erstklassig und die Bedienung typisch griechischisch herzlich. Das Restaurant hat einen schönen Außenberreich und ist innen gemütlich gestaltet. Man fuhlt sich dort einfach wohl. Ein kleiner Flecken Griechenland in Berlin. Das Highlight ist aber das Essen!!!

Gutes Essen, tolle Räume, und nette Besitzer... Auch draußen sitzt man gut.

hat sehr gut geschmeckt, toller Vorspeisenteller, Tzatziki leicht scharf, die panierten Auberginen, mit Schafskäse gefüllt, Zucchinibällchen + die mit griechischen Namen, knusprig gebraten + weiße Bohnen in Tomatensoße, vegetarisch. Nicht zu vergessen: 1/4 chen Noussa.

Da ich in der Fehlannahme, dass Gyros nur griechisch für Döner sei, noch nie Gyros gegessen hatte, wurde ich von einem guten Freund hierher eingeladen. Falls Sie auch jemanden kennen, der noch nie Gyros probiert hat, dem kann ich dieses Restaurant empfehlen. Sowohl mit Tsatsiki als auch mit Rahmsauce hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Preislich war man auch mit marktüblichen Restaurantpreisen bei guter Qualität gesättigt.

In Berlin der Lieblingsgrieche. Ein familiengeführtes Restaurant mit vielen leckeren Gerichten- da schaut der Chef beim Einkauf von Fisch und Fleisch noch mit prüfendem Blick. Wir sind dort sehr, sehr gern und fühlen uns dort wie bei Freunden. Danke ☺️

Nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen

Wir kommen seit Jahren und erfreuen uns an der immer gleichbeibenden griechischen Gastfreundschaft. Ein Stück Urlaub, es stimmt alles. Bitte selbst ausprobieren.

Über 20min mussten wir warten bis wir überhaupt die Getränke bestellen konnten, die dann weitere gute 5min fertig auf dem Tresen standen bis sie zu uns kamen. Essen war teilweise kalt und die Rosmarinkartoffeln waren nur gekochte Kartoffeln mit ein paar Rosmarinblätter drauf. Das beste war das Tzatziki. Sehr schade. Wir können das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Einzig das Brot, dass es zur Vorspeise dazu gab, war zu lange im Ofen. Es war dunkel und seeehr kross. Ich hatte das Gyros mit Pilzen. Der Reis dazu war der Hammer. Service war gut und sehr nett.

Ich war zwar erst zweimal hier, aber es hat mir jedesmal gut gefallen. Das Essen schmeckt, man wird nett und gut bedient. Die Preise sind okay.
