Very good tasty food and friendly service

Very cozy atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff

i used to love going to this place but it seems the quality of the food went down. The food was very, very salty. The calamares were dry. The beef seemed very watery. The staff greets you friendly but when we asked for the bill and added the tip including the total price the waiter refused to do so and he will force you to select the 5% - 10% or 15%. We didn't want to tip that much cause we were just really not happy with the food, but we couldn't be bothered to tell them because i don't like to start a conflict when im out for dinner to relax. Unfortunately, i will never come back here.

Souvlaki with fries delivered for €20. The salad was soggy and sitting in stale water. Unfortunately, I put some in my mouth. It must have been sitting in the fridge for a few days in that packaging. A tiny portion of tzatziki, burnt meat, and unsalted fries! I'm being very generous with the 3 stars because it's been okay in the past. Today it's more like 2 stars. I won't be ordering again.

Curious, expensive, and overly attentive service. For the price and quality, this was unfortunately the first and last time.

When we're visiting Berlin this has become the #1 must-visit restaurants. We're vegetarian, and the menu provides a wide selection. We're made to feel we are family, despite language barriers, and a little sad to leave...until we're back in Berlin next time! We didn't make a reservation, but on a Thursday early evening it was thriving.

Very nice and accommodating host. Delicious food and a super cozy atmosphere. We were very satisfied and will be back.

We walked in spontaneously without an appointment, and a good table was reserved for us. The service was very friendly. Our order came very quickly. Unfortunately, it was too quick for us, as we hadn't even finished our starters yet and the main course was already getting cold on the table. We weren't used to that at other Greek restaurants. However, the food was excellent... The value for money was also good. We highly recommend this restaurant.

A very nice Greek restaurant in a "historic building." The food is delicious... We also had an ouzo before and after. The restaurant also has a spacious outdoor area, which is perfect for sitting outside in warm weather. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I went to this restaurant with my wife for lunch around 3 p.m. The service was impeccable, fast, friendly, and attentive. The prices are very reasonable for the restaurant's location, as are the portions. The meat (gyro, lamb, etc.) was very tasty and tender. If we ever want to go to a Greek restaurant again, we'll go there again.

The restrooms look good. Something was forgotten in my order, and two employees were talking quite loudly 2.5 meters away from me. When I pointed it out, they laughed 10 seconds later. Not recommended.

Great spot. They have menus in English and all the wait staff speak English. No wait for a table. Food is excellent. Loved the chicken skewers. Ordered a beer with my meal and they gave me a complementary ouzo shot. Service was quick. Loved the ambiance - Greek music in the background and cosy decor.

Classic Greek, just like I remember from my youth. It's a nice place to eat, and the ambiance is nice. Since I've been visiting here on and off for almost a decade, the chef's love of food has somewhat faded. The price-performance ratio isn't quite as good anymore. Although my rack of lamb followed by the meat skewer was quite good. Ultimately, everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to try it. When my regular Greek restaurant reopens, I'll go back for Greek food.

When I ate there, I had a house platter just to see the basics. Everything was super delicious and tender, and overall just great. The portion size was perfect. Not as overly large as at some other Greek restaurants. I'll be back and try more of the menu.

Kalimera! We had a great time at Kos House! The food was extremely delicious, beverages great, and the ouzo shots are always welcome. The waiters were very polite and professional. The atmosphere of the venue is an immersive Greek experience starting from the napkins up to the interior decorations. I totally recommend this place! 🤩

Very tasty, good service, finally calamari on the menu

A quick overview of the situation: Sunday evening, good weather, the interior (attractive) completely empty, the exterior (okay) 70-80% full. We were greeted by an already stressed employee and assigned our seats. Well, there are definitely better ways to start an evening! We took our seats and hadn't overestimated this scenario. Up until then, it was okay, but what followed was "strange"... First, we were constantly besieged regarding our order, then suddenly no one came, and when we finally managed to place our order, we were condescendingly lectured about our options when we asked about them, asking if we couldn't read the menu properly. Sorry, but we didn't feel taken seriously and certainly not welcome! What kind of concept is this? Conclusion: Good food, okay location, poor service...

The food was very good. I had grilled octopus, and my friends had various meat dishes, and everything tasted delicious. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. The outdoor area is really nice; you hardly notice Karl-Marx-Allee.

A little bit small for one person, very tasty but mixed plate 22 Euros already steep

The restaurant is very stylishly decorated inside, and the outdoor terrace is a cozy place to enjoy your meal in the summer. The service is very friendly, prompt, and attentive. Special requests are always accommodated.

Unfortunately, I've had enough of it. The prices have gone up again, and I now find almost €20 for a bit of gyro, which you just have to cut off a skewer with some tzatziki and a side dish, pretty cheeky. The fact that you even have to pay €3 more to get the tzatziki is outrageous. Even €6 for a mediocre 0.2l retsina, which you can buy wholesale for under €4 per liter, is no longer appropriate. On top of that, the quality has also deteriorated. The bifteki used to be super juicy, but is now dry, and last time I tried it, it just tasted of far too much cumin. I also don't like it when you order and the food arrives practically two minutes later, along with the drinks. It's not very relaxing, and you feel like you're in a mass-production environment, which it essentially is. The preparation time also says a lot about the effort put into the kitchen, which again calls the price into question. All in all, it's unfortunately no longer acceptable. A real shame.

My girlfriend and I go to the Kos House once a month and we feel very well served and the waiters are very concerned about our well-being.

Unfortunately only frozen goods have deteriorated enormously

If your demands are not that high, you are welcome to come here. I had beans with tomato sauce and feta. There was more oil in the sauce than tomatoes. Which dominated the taste too much. My father had plastic in his flesh. The waiter just looked surprised and said: it shouldn't be. However, there was no apology. In return, I was offered alcohol several times and even put in front of my nose. Ala: Try for me. I had to make it clear three times that I didn't consume any alcohol. Which was dismissed with a sad “oh, what a shame.” I find it very rude and an absolute no-go. I go to restaurants in Berlin a lot and I know much better service and better food. But I'm happy that Karl-Marx-Straße still has shops. But please with good food that does justice to the price and very good service. Good to know for anyone with limited mobility: The bathroom is up a steep flight of stairs on the second floor. It's also very tight. Of course the restaurant can't do anything about that, but I think it's always good to tell other people :)

We have eaten here several times and have always been satisfied, especially because of the speed of preparation. But now we found a small remnant of plastic film in the food (prepare it, bag it, warm it up?) The waiter was pointed out. There was no apology or any form of compensation. It's a shame, you've lost us.

No, not at all! No longer. We have been guests here for over 20 years. Were actually always satisfied. Not at all now. After we (4 people) were very dissatisfied several times, he was given one last chance. RESULT: Staff listless and unmotivated. Quality of the food is very poor! Food is totally over-salted, portions are much smaller and fewer than ever before, and prices are catapulted outrageously high. Food as cold as if it came from the fridge. Totally closed to complaints. The beer ? Was that really J E V E R beer??? We have our doubts! It could have been cheap beer from Poland be ?? Well, okay. There are infinitely many Alternatives. Doesn't necessarily have to be this "Greek". So here: NEVER AGAIN!!!

Neighborhood Greek that is one of the few restaurant businesses that has survived on Karl Marx Allee for decades. Solid food, very friendly and relaxed service. Always my pleasure!

We were there with 2 strollers, unfortunately I can't say much about the food as we had to leave shortly after we were shown to our place. It was too tight for the waiters, so we had to get dressed again and were sent away with 7 people. Very unfortunate... If you had said from the start that it wouldn't work, everything would have been fine. But unfortunately it was very unfortunate

A cozy Greek restaurant with delicious food. The staff is friendly, quick, and attentive. But not as overly cheerful as elsewhere. That's pleasant. The ambiance is inviting. Suitable for families, couples, meetings with friends, or just for fun. They also offer ouzo extra, of course. :-)

Very tasty and good. I always drive a little further to eat here because it's worth it. We've been there several times now, and I was a little disappointed today. The meat was very dry, and the baked potatoes I requested were fries. The gyro was very tasty, and the staff is friendly.

Fui con mi pareja el Domingo, la pasamos super bien. Nos atendió Jorge, nos recibió con un shot de ouzo y nos explicó que es una bebida tradicional. Luego para comer pedimos la entrada de pulpo que vino con una salsa increíble! y compartimos un plato en el que venían muchas carnes variadas muuuuy ricas! la comida 10/10, servicio 11/10, y el ambiente también 10/10 calentito, bien iluminado y limpio.

I've been going to this restaurant for a good 25 years and unfortunately I have to admit that everything has declined a lot. Let's start with the ambience. Everything as it was then and no refreshments! Service was quite nice 👍 Food has become very expensive 🫰 but it doesn't reflect the quality. It's a shame but it was the last time we were there, too expensive and the food just doesn't match the quality. Very unfortunate

For me the best and most beautiful Greek in Berlin. Authentic Greek music plays here all evening, the staff are consistently very friendly and accommodating and the quality of the food on offer here is truly second to none 😋 Starting with the ouzo, the small starter salad, right up to the most tender souvlaki you have ever eaten. I was thrilled to have my last dinner at this restaurant before leaving Berlin after being here for one month. The food was amazing, the service just as amazing and friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful with the restaurant having lots to look at. If I was living in Berlin this would be my place for Greek Food. I did not indulge in the Ouzo as I am flying out tomorrow but if I was not, would have indulged myself. If you love desserts like I do you must try the Fig with Ice Cream and Cream, delicious way to end your meal. If you are in Berlin and love Greek food this is the place to come and eat. Thank you.

We pre-ordered at 4 p.m. and were asked to leave the restaurant at 6:35 p.m. when we arrived. When ordering we were asked if we would go until 7 p.m., I said no and agreed to 8 p.m. Conclusion: we were not wanted and so we were disrespected accordingly. Pretty unprofessional. A second drink order only came after two hours. Little shandy was denied. We obviously shouldn't order anything else and leave. All in all, very poor service. Not recommended if you want to spend a nice evening with friends. Next time we'll go back to the Italian restaurant around the corner, we've never been treated so ignorantly and rudely there.
