This restaurant is so popular for a reason. So be sure to reserve a table in advance!

So, this was my second visit to that Greek restaurant. The first time was last year at Christmas, and the food wasn't very good. The service wasn't particularly friendly either. The same thing happened today. The food was even worse. I didn't find it very tasty, and the service was very stressed.

We've been frequenting Herkules L for years and always enjoy it. The food is consistently delicious and the service is incredibly friendly but never intrusive. For me, it's the best Greek restaurant in Berlin.

The food was delicious. Even though the restaurant was full and there was a birthday party going on, our order was taken and served promptly.

A very nice restaurant, the food was delicious. Souvlaki skewers with gyros and garlic potatoes. The meat was grilled to perfection, and the gyros were also absolutely delicious and juicy. What I liked was that you could taste the meat and it wasn't over-seasoned, which is something you often experience. The restaurant was very busy in the evening. The noise level was quite high, but that's just how it is. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We had two ouzos, and we even wanted a third on the house... Really great. If we from Hamburg ever work nearby again, we'll be happy to come back.

Highly recommended for Greek food. The restaurant smells absolutely wonderful as soon as you enter! Occasionally, you'll even get a free ouzo. Sometimes it gets quite busy, though, so you might want to make a reservation in advance.

Cash only! It's delicious, I highly recommend it! The portions are incredibly large, and the food is delicious. The waiters are sometimes slow, but not always. They even bring Ouza vodka as a compliment. It's a wonderful place to eat authentic Greek food, and it's delicious!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere both inside and outside was pleasant... unfortunately, I had to deduct a star for the service as our waiter towards the end was quite rude.

My favorite and regular restaurant. Why? I usually only get gyros; I can't say anything about the rest, but this gyro is extremely delicious. Fair prices, great staff, everyone knows each other by now, always a few free ouzos with the food, a nice, warm interior, and nice outdoor seating, shielded from the street by a hedge. Simply a great restaurant!

Very tasty food, friendly staff. They also serve authentic classics like pita gyros, which tasted just like I remembered from Greece. And: You're with "real" Greeks here, and not, as is often the case in Berlin and Brandenburg, with some Albanians pretending to be Greek.

We had to find our own table. There were no cushions on the terrace. The waiters started arguing in Greek in front of us, and my husband and I unfortunately had stomachaches and diarrhea after the meal.

Today was our first visit to Herkules and we have only good things to say. We know and love Herkules 2 from many visits. Herkules also completely met our expectations. The food is delicious and plentiful. The staff, just like at Herkules 2, is super friendly and accommodating. The visit was definitely worth it. Thanks to the staff and keep up the good work! We had gyros and Artemis plates. We started with a salad with a delicious dressing as a side dish. One small criticism of the gyros: I would have liked it to be a bit more fried and a bit spicier. The service and friendliness were excellent. We sat outside...and didn't go inside. The price/performance ratio is excellent.

This is exactly what a Greek restaurant should be like. Friendly, fast. Ouzo to welcome us, and occasionally in the middle of our meal and at the end. The waiters are always up for a joke. We were asked three times if we wanted to wait for our second course, and then they laughed heartily because we had half of it packed up. It's easily accessible, with plenty of parking in the side streets, and it's nice and quiet. We had a really lovely late afternoon here and will definitely come back! :)

We can only agree with the previous reviewers; this restaurant is highly recommended. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable, and the portions are more than adequate. The atmosphere is very cozy, both inside and outside. We ate there 6 out of 7 evenings.

Everything has always been great until now,

We went for dinner on a Wednesday afternoon. The garden is very cozy, the server came quickly, and, in addition to the menu, brought a glass of ouzo. We ordered the special gyro and beef liver and were very satisfied. The food arrived quickly, was delicious, and plentiful. A tip: The garlic potatoes are a dream! We'll definitely be back.

Our group (usually 6-12 people) eats there regularly. The staff are all friendly and attentive. The restaurant is always very busy, so I would always recommend making a reservation. It can also get quite warm there sometimes. Even on busy days, you don't have to wait long for your food. Of course, you also get ouzo as a welcome drink.

The best Greek restaurant! The cuisine is always delicious and the service is nice and positive towards children. Greek wine also dominates the menu. There is plenty of space outside to sit and for children to run on the grass. The only downside is the small parking lot for about 10 cars.

Much better than the one at Springpfuhl... don't be stingy about the free glass at the beginning. Liver is done and not a quibble, although a new one without discussion. Gyros seem fresher... Prices are moderate for something like that. Cheap lunch menu! Top service!

We ordered for pickup. The food was incredibly delicious (beef fillet, lamb fillet, chicken breast, and bifteki + side dishes: rice, garlic potatoes, fries, and croquettes)! 🥰 The food was ready in 30 minutes, and we got a whole bottle of ouzo. Went there for our 55th birthday. Ordered seats. Service was overloaded. Never again. Food was OK. Last week 6 years later lunch alone on site Because OK.... but 2 waiters were overwhelmed again. I waited a whole 25 minutes for MY DRINK... then they asked what did they want to eat... So hardly any guests, staff forget anything... now I never know again. .. Oh yes and the welcome greeting card wasn't included for me either... I asked if I was a different guest than the others... Very bad service... As I said, the food was ok again

The service is very attentive and we were served nicely several times during our visit. Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks: When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a smoking employee; unfortunately it was impossible to escape the cloud of smoke. This employee served us and smelled strongly of smoke, which I found unpleasant. The food was brought quickly, but unfortunately my warm starter was rather poor. I ordered champions baked with spinach and white cheese, which were swimming in a tasteless thick cream sauce. There was more cheese than other components as only 3 champions made it into the mold. My partner was happy with his gyro skewer plate. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, although the chairs were very stained and the children's chair was also dirty. Conclusion: Even though this Greek is very hospitable, I think there are much better options.

After being away for far too long, I can only say that nothing has changed in terms of Greek hospitality and delicious Mediterranean food in this restaurant. Always a culinary highlight in Berlin Biesdorf. Thanks to the team!

My partner and I ate at this restaurant today. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, most of the waiters were nice, except for one older gentleman (waiter or boss) who was very rude!!!! When we wanted to pay by card, the gentleman said that unfortunately no VISA card would work. Since we have often had the experience that the VISA card worked after all, we tried it anyway. The card reader actually accepted our VISA, my partner and I were happy and looked at the gentleman with a smile and suddenly he gave us a very angry look and said: “I said NO VISA card!” with a stern tone. When we politely asked him “why not” and we apparently misunderstood each other, he gave us another dirty look, turned his back on us and simply left without saying goodbye. We and our family won't come here anymore!!!

Finally a Greek restaurant with dishes that aren't just "Germanized". Unfortunately for me this is at the other end of Berlin and we are always happy when we have the opportunity to stop here. A “MUST” for me is to order Gyropita. It's really like GR and creates the right feeling. The other dishes are also very tasty and of course they also offer the usual sauces that many people want. They are also very tasty. The ambience is also very nice. What's also really nice is that the children are provided with special menus that they can color in with colored pencils. The service could have been a little more sustainable, so we could have ordered more.

I know the owners personally and know how much passion and effort they have put into this restaurant - and you can tell straight away! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is authentic and incredibly delicious. The attention to detail is particularly impressive - you feel like a special guest. A great place to enjoy Georgian cuisine. Absolutely recommended!

One satisfied guest brings 3 new guests; one dissatisfied person takes 5 guests with him! In our case, at least 20 guests will no longer come. On our last visit to the site, in September 2024, - annoyed waiters; Carelessly prepared food (everything piled on top of each other on a plate that was too small). Small note - I ordered a grill plate and no layered meat!!! When asked how one should eat properly from such a plate, the cheeky answer was "Well with a knife and fork" and further "We always prepare this dish like this and everyone eats it like that, but they are probably something better!" We were guests there at regular intervals for many years - that is now over. We can also spend our money in another restaurant where they still know the words service and hospitality and know how to implement them.

I would rather have given it 0 points, which unfortunately isn't possible. Were regular customers for years and are so disappointed with the development. Neither the service nor the friendliness remained above the price. With a mixed meat platter, everything is stacked on top of each other and there is no space to put them next to each other. When I asked for another plate, a small plate was simply put there, which unfortunately didn't solve my problem (due to the size) We were rather laughed at. The next disappointment came with the long drink we ordered, it was only juice! It worked out for us because we don't have to rely on it - there are many good Greek restaurants!

Food is generally OK to very tasty with generous portions that are often taken away. The service usually tries to fulfill all wishes, but could also be more attentive, for example when the drinks are empty. The atmosphere is generally comfortable, but I don't like going to the toilet much, and even less so with a small child. Without exception, all of the toilet seats wobble and the fittings could be better maintained. This doesn't give the impression of adequate care and maintenance, so two stars are deducted here.

I was a guest at a birthday party on a Saturday evening with 10 people. The shop was filled to capacity, although there were other tables with larger groups, it wasn't too loud. The orders were carried out quickly and usually reliably. When something was wrong, the wish was immediately fulfilled. Most of the waiters are cool and ready to have fun with everyone.

Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was not possible, although we had made a reservation in good time. On our arrival, all tables were occupied, and despite our reservation we had to wait half an hour. Since there was no view of a free table, we finally decided to go to another restaurant. We understand that holidays can be particularly stressful. Nevertheless, we would have liked reservations to be given more consideration and planning to be adjusted accordingly. Better organization would certainly have helped avoid such situations. Too bad.
