The restaurant is beautifully located and has an almost direct view of the lake from the terrace. There were 16 of us there, it was very busy overall and the service was busy, but remained friendly and absolutely prompt. The gyros were ok, the starters overall were very appetizing, the menu offers something for everyone. I recommend a robber plate for the children. The price is absolutely right, the sanitary facilities are clean! Be sure to let us know when it's your birthday and there'll be a little something from the house with a lot of fanfare 🤣👌

We just wanted to stop for a beer at 11.30 a.m. and we'll definitely never stop again. The boss was really nice -> despite the accident, he welcomed us. But the staff didn't feel like working and they let us as guests feel it too. Lazy mouth, only came after repeated waves... a shame, because you could do so much more with the situation.

We didn't like the trout and garlic bread, otherwise it was delicious. It would be nice if it were forbidden to smoke on the terrace. The few who smoke there poison the air for everyone else and the food only tastes like cigarettes.

Food wasn't quite hot, but otherwise everything was great!!!

On August 18, 2024, my parents drove with me, on a return trip from Wittstock to Berlin, to Neuruppin to have lunch at Syrtaki. From the outside you don't even notice that there is a Greek restaurant in the seemingly simple building, apart from the menus on the notice board, but in fact the inside is extremely nicely decorated and is also located right on the water, so we decided to go there settled on the outside terrace. I particularly like the plates with ancient Greek depictions hanging on the walls. It's just a shame that you don't get the same, but normal plates for your meal. The portions are very generous, my mother couldn't finish everything from her grill plate, but the meat is really deliciously prepared and is at a pleasant temperature when eaten, while the bread served is baked in the restaurant. The salad that is usually served as a starter is of course also available here. In addition, the ouzo is even served in ice-cold glasses as a welcome, great! I would also like to say positively that the ouzo in this restaurant is not mixed with water, as I usually know from other Greek restaurants, because it is poured directly from the bottle, even in front of the guests when paying, which I also do I think it's great, because I personally don't like it when some restaurants mix the ouzo with water. The service is also extremely friendly, so I have no reason to complain after our first visit. Everything was just great and if we ever came to Neuruppin again, we would definitely come back to Syrtaki, we promise!

The food is tasty, but very large portions. Positive: there is a senior menu with smaller meals. Completely enough. Negative: the two waiters look very grim, at least one of them could smile. Otherwise great atmosphere, right on the lake. Highly recommended.

The food is OK. Location is great with a view of Lake Neuruppin. But, the salad is manageable, the dressing unfortunately has no taste! Salad is very simple! Can stay away! But I can only recommend the warm starter; when it comes to garlic bread, everyone has to decide for themselves. Otherwise, Greek cuisine has not been reinvented. The Greek garlic-flavored yogurt needs more salt, pepper and garlic. And with the garlic potatoes, I like the minimal amount of garlic cut, but there can be more!

The ambience was quite pleasant, but the food was a disaster. The garlic potatoes tasted like they had been reheated and the fries were hard and cold. The service was also disappointing: cards were simply slapped on the table and the staff seemed sad and unfriendly. Plus Berlin prices. I wouldn't come back.

The starter salad was a bad joke: iceberg lettuce with a high-fat dressing that had hardly any flavor. This salad wasn't even worth the "free" it cost. The walleye and broccoli, which obviously came from the freezer, were particularly disappointing. For the price of 21.90 euros, it was more than disappointing and grossly overpriced. Freshness and quality fell by the wayside here. The service also left a lot to be desired. The waitress was obviously not very motivated and literally threw the menus on the table. This gave the whole visit an unfriendly and indifferent aftertaste. The only bright spot was the beautiful view of Lake Ruppiner, which invites you to linger. Unfortunately, a nice view isn't enough to make up for the disappointing food quality and poor service. Overall, a restaurant that promises more than it delivers. Only recommended if you're only interested in the view and are prepared to compromise on food and service.

Our visit was very disappointing. The food had hardly any taste. The starter was oversalted and the main course (souvlaki) was simply baked with a slice of cheese and the sauce was like water. This has nothing to do with Greek food at all. The service wasn't particularly friendly either. First visit and the last visit from us.

The potatoes are not salted, but the meat was very good. Service staff are inattentive and rattle off their standard text at every table.

Absolutely unprofessional. You felt like you had to apologize for going there to eat. The staff was so listless. The plates were slapped down like they were feeding cattle, speaking of plates...they were so destroyed. Almost every plate in our group had extreme chips. It's all the sadder that this restaurant didn't bother to set up the table for a wedding party... a few candles or something would have been really nice. Well...not recommended in my opinion!

The restaurant was very easy to reach from our hotel "Altes Casino" (Jutta had already chosen it in advance - as always). What was striking was the size of the restaurant with the terrace. It was the former boathouse. Since we arrived relatively early, we were the first, lonely guests. We were served very quickly and the Greek food tasted excellent. Since the portions were very large, we had the rest packed up.

We didn't leave a good impression from our visit at the end of July 2024: the staff was listless throughout, the food - starter plates, taramas, gyros, grill plates - was of below-average quality that evening. On a previous visit everything was completely different. A pity. The location near the lake is very nice.

The meal itself was also a failure, the salad for the starter consisted exclusively of sliced ​​iceberg and some red cabbage, the tomato rice was not seasoned and the “sauce” for the scalloped potatoes was almost pure mayonnaise. Finally, we were allowed to visit the toilets, which were neither equipped with toilet paper nor towels to dry off with. Meanwhile, the entire staff sat in the restaurant and ate lunch.

It's a shame that only one fork is provided per visit. In other words, I eat my salad and then have to use it again for my main course.

Sehr positiv fande wir die Rampe an der Eingangsstufe, die auch Menschen mit Rollstuhl eine einfache Zufahrt zum Restaurant erlaubt. Bekamen auch ohne Reservierung noch einen Tisch mit Blick auf den See. Getränke kamen recht schnell, essen kurz danach, mit Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichten, es hat jedem geschmeckt und was auch noch preiswert. Ein Grund mehr zum wiederkommen

Due to an event that had nothing to do with the restaurant, there was quite a lot going on between the terrace and the lake, and the restaurant was very well attended. The staff seemed well challenged (slightly stressed). The food was delicious and plentiful.

The food was incredibly tasty and the portions were really huge. As a starter I ordered the olives with pepperoni - I was expecting 2 small snack bowls, as you would expect. I was given a plate that the whole table could snack on. Absolutely great for the price! For the main course I had the surprise plate - the chef seemed to put it together spontaneously. Here I had a minced steak, chicken, pork and gratinated gyros with Metaxa sauce - absolutely delicious, even if I really had to fight with myself. Unfortunately we had to wait a little longer to place our order, but that may have been because the restaurant was very busy. Definitely a recommendation and if we end up in Neuruppin again, we'll be happy to come back!

I am a huge fan of Greek cuisine as well as the country itself and the mentality of the Greeks. Therefore, I know many Greek restaurants and their advantages and disadvantages. This restaurant has a fantastic view of the water in summer, which is really great when eating. The ambience inside is also very nice. Unfortunately I'm not completely happy with the food, starting with the starter all the way to the salt and main course. There's just a lack of taste in everything. You can still find service and friendly staff here every time.

Unfortunately the food was just average. A few parts looked and tasted like they had been fried several times. I ordered the surprise plate and pointed out that it should be without lamb. I got lamb 🤔 We were also forgotten for a while, but that can happen. The waiter we had at the end also apologized and waived the tip. However, it's not enough for four stars. Sorry.

Today I was at Syrtaki for the first time and I was thrilled. We were there with seven people. When I saw huge plates of food being served at the night bar tables, I became worried. I knew full well that I would never be able to eat such a generously filled plate. When I browsed through the menu I also found senior portions. Just as well decorated as the large plates. I was really happy about that. You could also really enjoy this beautiful time in the winter garden with a view of the lake. I will come back. THANKS

Today we had dinner together but unfortunately some of the food served was disappointing. The Cretan potatoes were black and burnt. Despite politely asking for another portion, the waiter tried to talk his way out of it and ended up bringing a much smaller portion. Additionally, the gyro I ordered was cold and not really edible. Today's visit was very disappointing and even the lovely ambience overlooking the water couldn't make up for the poor food.

I came back from a tour to eat, there were more conditions than guests, but the food was tasty, that was the most important thing for me 😊

We were there in the evening during the week. The service is only moderately motivated and not enthusiastic about what they do. The starter, stuffed baked peppers, were overcooked. The salad with the dish is loveless at best. The food is mediocre to ok. Overall we are disappointed and won't be coming back.

We spontaneously got a table. After a short wait we were able to order. However, Esseb only came to us after an hour. Yes, it was Women's Day. Yes, busy. And yes, it was loud. But on days like this and with numerous reservations, you should take this into account and make a few more service staff available. The food was okay, the ambience could be a little more *Greek*. Personally, I don't think the seating set matches the height of the table. You literally sink into these benches. In the summer, however, I imagine it would be very nice on the terrace.

Calamari and gyros I don't know exactly...five other guests had probably ordered my dish and seemed to be happy with it. The potatoes were clearly a convenience product,...salt and pepper? The whole plate was one color and everything together was cold... I'll put it this way... a plate of kebab at your favorite dealer costs 75% less... I think ten euros were waived off the bill... Overall, no recommendation.

Ich kann die vielen negativen Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen, wir waren 21:00Uhr dort essen. Trotz der fortgeschrittenen Zeit waren alle Mitarbeiter sehr höflich, Das Essen ist hervorragend, aber die Portionen sind schon eine Herausforderung. Keiner von uns hat es nach der sehr üppigen Vorspeise geschafft, sein eigentliches Hauptgericht aufzuessen. Das mitnehmen der übriggebliebenen Speisen stellte auch kein Problem dar. Für uns war es ein schöner entspannter Abend mit sehrgutem Essen... wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Essen schmeckt gut, das Ambiente ist sehr schön und die Bedienung ist freundlich. Hunde sind immer herzlich willkommen 🥰

Das Personal war sehr freundlich aber das Essen war nur durchschnittlich, eher unterdurchschnittlich. Schnell gemacht, wenig gewürzt und nicht richtig gegrillt. Schwache Leistung.

In Zeiten nachlassender Gastronomie ein Leuchtturm (Speck der Hoffnung) in Neuruppin. Leistungsfähige Küche, beste Lage am See und hohe Tischkapazität. Mein Tipp ist die Mama Platte für 89 Euro und 4 Gäste. Reicht mindestens für 6-7 Leute und es ist von allem viel dabei.

Tja, was soll ich sagen... ich bin ganz schön enttäuscht von diesem recht gelobten Restaurant. Nicht das das Essen schlecht ist... es fehlt halt der Pfiff, diese Restaurant Identität... technisch gesehen ist das Essen einwandfrei zubereitet worden... jedoch ist der Geschmack mehr als von der Stange. Alles sehr lieblos gewürzt...fast schon Fad. Im Gyros Metaxa war nur eine Idee von Metaxa zu schmecken... das Knoblauchbrot hat wohl nur aus der Entfernung den Knoblauch gesehen. Es scheint so als ob die die Speisen jedem recht machen wollen und verlieren dabei jede schmeckbare Herkunft... Meine Frau ist zwar nicht meiner Meinung...scheinbar war ihre Wahl kein Griff ins Klo?... aber ich bleibe bei meiner Einschätzung... Das Ambiente ist etwas offen und hat auch so seinen eigenen Scharm...die Bar in Form eines Bootes ist eine nette Idee... Jedoch verspüre ich nicht den Wunsch hier noch einmal einzukehren. PS. Der eine Kellner war wirklich nett und aufmerksam.

Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung

Ich kann nur abraten Familienfeiern, Hochzeit und große Feiern dort zu erleben. Das Personal ist unaufmerksam. Hat mehr mit Rumstehen und Handy zu tun. Geschirr und Gläser werden nur nach Aufforderung mit unfreundlichem Verhalten abgeräumt. Getränkebestellung flaut nach sehr kurzer Zeit ab. Das Personal mischt sich unter die Feiernden ungefragt. Ich werde dort nicht mehr mit Freunde und Familie einkehren.

Essen sehr gut bin von Berlin extra hingefahren werde es immer wieder tun

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit netten Mitarbeitern, schmackhaften Speisen und guter Atmosphäre. Besonders gut ist die halboffene Terrasse mit tollem Blick auf den See. Vielleicht sollte man auf diese besonders hinweisen. Oder habe ich einen Hinweis übersehen?! Es gibt sogar eine Angebotskarte für Senioren, denn die griechischen Portionen sind oftmals viel zu üppig. Für die Kinder gibt es ebenfalls passende Speisen. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.
