Mediocre food, not always warm. Even by German standards very mild, not even close to spicy indian food, more like kindergarten level. We had the evening buffet, it was all just variations of chicken. Dessert tasted unidentifiable.

Went there for the buffet for the first time and were very surprised, everything was hot, bread was fresh and warm, very tasty and the staff was super friendly. The only thing we didn't like was the salad dressing, but that's just our personal feeling. Everything else was great. We'll definitely be back. Thank you 😊

Super delicious food, have picked up something here several times and it was always fresh and always very tasty. Highly recommend the Garlic Naan and Mango Chicken!

Unfortunately, today was my last visit to this restaurant! We have often ordered and eaten locally because we always liked the food despite the high prices. My rating is not directed at the food but at the head of the house (cook). We had a discount coupon from the gourmet catalog where you get a discount on your second dish, which we had communicated in advance. Now to the nerve of why I'm writing this review. I ordered the Swagatteller, the dish that bears the restaurant's name. (Mix of different types of meat). Other negative reviews reported 11 pieces of meat (which was criticized as a small portion). I HAD 4 mini pieces! That was so bold! And thanks to the human frustration I experienced there, I will never set foot in this restaurant again! Making a coupon and then, when it is redeemed, playing people for fools in order to recoup the money by serving people vegetables instead of meat is the bottom drawer. The end of the song was I paid 18.90 for rice with sauce and 4 pieces of leftover "meat" and went home and made 2 pieces of bread. In the future I would rather go to the Bella Tandoori restaurant in Herzogenaurach. At the same time, I will encourage everyone in my circle to go there, as we have many friends and family members who have also visited the restaurant several times. Impudence!

Unfortunately not recommended🥺The buffet offered was very small and the food was lukewarm, with a tendency towards cold food. The ambience, hmm, you could do that. But the table we had ordered was missing a place setting and the red cloth napkins had not been ironed but were lying carelessly folded on the table. The dessert was sublime. Conclusion: For the buffet costing €17.90 per person, we weren't full and totally disappointed. Too bad

We were there on December 27th. to the buffet in the evening. Disappointing! The restaurant was almost empty of guests. The food was cold and the selection was very limited. The bread was soft and not fresh. Everything else didn't seem fresh either, somehow from the previous day. Once and not again!!!

We ate here yesterday at 11.30 a.m. with the Schlemmerbüchlein and can recommend it! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and the selection of dishes made you want to try more. There is also a lot on offer for vegetarians. Kind regards, Silke and Marko

Very tasty food that we ordered to take away for the whole family. The dhal was prepared extra mild for the children and the paneer cheese was homemade. The ingredients were fresh and the service was very friendly. We would love to come back!

It was cold in the inn and smelled strongly of old grease. The food came lukewarm and in order to be able to choke down the wobbly sauces you had to add seasoning.

Perhaps the best of the Indian restaurants I have visited.

Hello everyone. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the restaurant recently. I ordered via Lieferando. It should have been one of the ducks with rice and a salad. What I received here was anything but appropriate for the high price. For example, the duck really had almost no meat in it. (About 4 small pieces) And the salad was presented in a way that I have never seen before. When I complained, the restaurant itself simply didn't respond and Lieferando told me when I asked that the provider didn't want to offer any compensation. At least I cannot recommend ordering from this store and the customer service here was also absolutely unfriendly and unreasonable in this matter. 🤨 At Bella Tandoori in Herzogenaurach you can get a much better duck for a similar price and you get really good value for your money. 🍀 Kind regards. Shortly after arriving, I almost had a heart attack because the music system was blaring at full volume when I switched it on. It was quickly turned down, but I was still shocked. Unfortunately, the very friendly service could only communicate in English and was wearing a dirty T-shirt, which was a no-go for me in service. The food came quickly, was hot and was served correctly (by another employee). Unfortunately for an Indian restaurant it was simply boring, not seasoned enough, no spiciness at all, both in my dish and my wife's. Unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience overall, and the explanation that you should specify more seasoning when ordering doesn't help. How are you supposed to know that? It doesn't say anywhere? I know it the other way around, when necessary you say “please not so spicy”.

Food is very good. One of the few restaurants in the area that can prepare authentic Indian food.

Food was delicious. Buffet is inexpensive with a nice selection. Very friendly hosts. The buffet is not every Sunday! If there aren't enough reservations for the buffet, there won't be one. Then only à la carte. So it's better to call again.

Food was good, 15€ for a small chicken tikka masala. No English menu. I go to pay and the check is 19€ a glass of tap water is 4€. Really? A glass?

Was there for the evening buffet at the weekend. Buffet was manageable and ambience was good. No loud music and you could have a conversation. A starter and dessert were offered and the main course was rice and naan bread. There were around 5 different dishes and vegetarian options were also offered. The food tasted okay, you were full. You can tell that it is a buffet and more attention was paid to quantity. The service was flawless. Employees were always friendly.

Gemütliches Restaurant mit netten Personal. Ich habe vom Büfett gegessen und fand alles gut. Ich war zum ersten Mal bei einem Inder und hab daher alles probiert.

Der Service ist freundlich, aber lässt sich selten blicken. Das Essen ist lecker, die Portionen waren schon mal größer. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist aber noch ok. Leider war es eiskalt im Raum, so dass wir mit Winterjacken unser Essen verspeist haben. War sehr unangenehm und ungemütlich.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben sehr lecker vom Buffet gegessen. Es gab eine gute Auswahl verschiedener Speisen und auch für mich als Vegetarierin gab es einige Gerichte. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hat gepasst.

Sehr lecker und schöne Auswahl an Gerichten. Kommen wieder!

Wir konnten außen sitzen bei gutem Wetter, ist halt direkt an der Hauptstraße. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, hatten alle Vier eine andere Hauptspeise mit Super abgestimmten Gewürzen aus Indien. Angepasst an die Europäische Schärfe, denn extra Scharf kann man ja Bestellen ! Der Chef des Restaurants erklärte uns dass seine gelernten Köche direkt aus Indien sind. Sehr zu Empfehlen.

Nachdem wir lange nicht mehr in der Gegend waren, wollten wir wieder mal indisch essen gehen und siehe da, es gibt einen neuen Besitzer. Zum Glück hat sich vieles verändert und auch verbessert. Die Örtlichkeiten sind in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Karte ist sehr reichhaltig und es gibt sehr viele vegetarische und auch vegane Gerichte. Es gab Papadam und 3 Soßen ohne Bestellung. (scharfe, süße und grüne Soße) Zu den Essen wurde Naan gebracht, hatte ich überlesen. Uns hat es geschmeckt und wir werden gerne wieder kommen. Zumal es direkt vor dem Restaurant Parkplätze gibt. Dienstag Ruhetag.

1 x Swagat-Teller (7Hänchen & 4 Lamm Stücke) 1 x Jheenga Mango (8 mittlere Garnelen) die Portionen sind eher klein und was gar nicht geht ist die 1 Portion Reis für 2 Personen bei einen Preis von 46 € inkl. 2 Getränke finde ich die Preise schon sehr sportlich. Aber man muss sagen geschmacklich war das Essen gut. Nur 3 Sterne da das Preis-Verhältnis für mich nicht passt, sonst wären es 4 Sterne gewesen.

Trotz Baustelle war das Restaurant geöffnet.Die Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft und schön angerichtet. Die Bedienung (Chefin)war sehr nett.Das Nan Brot war der Hammer, nicht mehr zu toppen.

Leckeres Essen, besonders die Vorspeise mit den "Tischtennisbällen". Nette Wirtsleute.

I ordered food over lieferando and here is my experience. I read other reviews where people had late delivery so I was mentally prepared for it. I ordered food at 18:44 and app showed 60 mins to deliver. I got delivery at 21:06. This was the only worst part and this needs to be addressed. No order should wait for this long. I ordered dal makhani, palak paneer, roti and naan. To my experience, all the items were authentic indian style. I am very pleased with the quality, quantity and pricing of the food. On top of that, the packaging of the food was great, no leakage. I will recommend this place to others.

Wir waren spontan zum Mittagsmenue da und waren angenehm überrascht, dass Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Gerne wieder.

Leider ,war das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht ausgeglichen, Toiletten nicht sauber, auch der Service war jetzt nicht so toll.

Update 17.03.2023; wir haben heute für 10 Personen unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt und selbst abgeholt. Ganz ehrlich: Da hat heute irgendetwas nicht gepasst. Der Geschmack viel deutlich hinter dem ab, was wir bisher gewohnt waren. Das sollte unbedingt überprüft werden. —————————————————- In anderen Rezensionen ist vom Bollywood-Ambiente die Rede - ja, das stimmt, hat uns aber nicht wirklich gestört. Die Dame des Hauses ist im Service aufmerksam und flink. Update vom 28.01.2023: Waren wieder zu Viert. Hatten diesmal Butter Chicken (40), Chicken Nilgiri (43), Harialy Kebab (27) und Chicken Karahi (38). Alles wieder ausgesprochen lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen. —— Das Essen hat uns positiv überrascht. Sehr lecker und in jedem Fall ausreichend. Schön, dass es auf dem Land dieses alternative Angebot gibt. Wir waren zu Zweit und zufrieden, daher eine echte Empfehlung. Swagat ist eine Bereicherung für Siegelsdorf. Einfach mal ausprobieren, da kann eigentlich nichts schiefgehen.

Sehr freundliches Personal und wirklich kinderfreundlich. Kinderstuhl ist vorhanden und bekommt man direkt angeboten. Unter der Woche muss man glaube eher nicht reservieren, obwohl wir das getan haben. Das Essen wird zügig zubereitet und ist sehr lecker. Für meinen Geschmack dürfte das ein oder andere etwas würziger "indischer" sein. Deshalb 1 Punkt weniger. Nichtsdestotrotz sehr lecker und Geschmäcker sind ja zum Glück verschieden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
