We were out and about without Google 😜, were hungry, and saw that the restaurant was open. A stroke of luck in the countryside on a Tuesday lunchtime, and not to be taken for granted. So we went in and were surprised. Sure, the ambiance is a bit old-fashioned, but everything is neat and clean, so it's fine. The menu is straightforward, but there's an additional seasonal menu. I prefer fewer dishes to choose from and those that are freshly prepared. And that's exactly how it was! Everything was fresh and very tasty. We could have easily changed the side dishes, as the owner told us. We were very satisfied, and the price-performance ratio is perfectly acceptable. If we're in the area again, we'll be back.

Unfortunately, my visit was prevented at short notice by closing at 3 pm, and I had to return home with a growling stomach.

Well, it's actually nice to have a Franconian restaurant in your area. BUT: the ambiance isn't pleasant. You walk in and it already smells of frying oil. It's cold and drafty! A curtain rod hangs crooked and nobody cares. A ceiling panel hangs from one corner of the ceiling. The furniture is simple, but OK. Decor is definitely overrated here... The only guests, three men at the "regulars' table," are chatting loudly. But they deserve it.... The waitress was nice and attentive, but otherwise just stood idly and uninvolved behind the counter. The food was mostly freshly prepared and tasted good.👍 Small drawback: the side salad consisted mainly of iceberg lettuce with three slices of cucumber and three pieces of tomato. My mother-in-law ordered the bratwurst with sauerkraut and black bread. Unfortunately, there was no black bread, so she got toast. (The waitress didn't let us know until shortly after serving, though.) Our conclusion: Since the atmosphere is truly unpleasant, we don't want to go there again. It's a shame—more could be done here.

Very good, small Franconian restaurant. The food is freshly prepared and tastes delicious. Service is friendly and fast.

Top service, the food was fantastic, every dish freshly prepared with love, and yes, we cleaned up the ice swimming competition, with three starts and three medals.... Greetings from the two Austrians...

Tavern food at it's best! Hearty, tasty and inexpensive. Plus local beer. The service is nice and quick. Restaurant unfussy but somehow cozy.

In the last year I have often found myself standing in front of closed doors, even though according to Google it should have been open. Very disappointing. There is no further attempt.

A wonderfully rustic restaurant with delicious home cooking and dishes that are rarely found anywhere else, very friendly hosts and a good price-performance ratio. What more do you want? We love to come.

Ein Traum! Alle waren sehr zufrieden! Fränkische Spezialitäten auf höchstem Niveau und das Schäufele war einfach der pure Wahnsinn. Schnitzel und Spargel ebenfalls super empfehlenswert.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem guten Preis. Egal, ob Schweinebraten oder Holzfällersteak, Rouladen, alles sehr reichlich und geschmacklich sehr gut. Sehr freundliches Personal. Parkplätze im Hof und an der Straße. Im Sommer ist ein überdachter Biergarten im Hof vorhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei.

Ambiente top, Bedienung sehr aufmerksam & freundlich. Essen war Geschmacklich auch sehr gut. Allerdings waren es zu viele Zwiebeln im Essen ( Championsoße) und der Rosenkohl war Geschmacklich auch nicht so toll. Das ist aber eben Geschmackssache. Im großen und ganzen war alles super. Würde auf jeden Fall nochmals hier her kommen.

Gute fränkische Küche. Es gibt zusätzlich eine Tageskarte und einige vegetarische Gerichte. Freundliche Wirtsleute. Parkplätze im Hof.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln, fränkische Gaststätte sind wir mal froh wieder sowas zuhaben

Das Cordon bleu war geschmacklich gut, auch wenn der geriebe Käse im Inneren noch nicht ganz geschmolzen war. Die Pommes waren leider etwas zu lange drin vermute ich mal, da sie etwas hart waren. Meine Begleitung hatte Lachs für um die 9 Euro. Diese Portion war jedoch sehr klein. Die Stimmung war gut und die Wirtschaft auch gut besucht und die Bedienung sehr nett. Das Bier war natürlich anstandslos gut (Huppendorfer). Ich würde wieder kommen und es nochmal probieren.

Super Essen, vor allem die Pfannengerichte. Ich sage nur: lecker Kotelett!!! Die Wirtsleute sind sehr freundlich, und die Bedienung total auf Zack und super nett. Bis zum nächsten Mal, Betty

Uriges, eher altbackenes, sauberes Ambiente mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Essenstechnisch top, egal ob Schäuferle, Schnitzel oder Roulade. Das Schäuferle sowie die frischen Apfelküchle sind definitiv eine Empfehlung wert. Gleichbleibende Qualität bei gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, hier werden wir öfters zum Essen hingehen!

Sehr nettes, kleines fränkisches Lokal, die Schnitzel sind super und es gibt reichhaltige Brotzeitplatten. Es gibt ein paar Parkplätze im Hof und einen kleinen Biergarten. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Das Huppendorfer Vollbier darf man gern als Geheimtipp bezeichnen. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Fränkische Küche. Hier muss man gewesen sein. Super nette und freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen sehr lecker und der Kaiserschmarren ein Traum. Schöne Terasse im Hinterhof.
