The ambiance is 3 stars, since it's just a cafeteria. But eating fish on Thursdays is a must. The fish itself deserves 5 stars. The service is always pleasant and friendly.

All the positive reviews are a bit old, too... I don't understand why no one has mentioned how much the food has deteriorated. A year ago, I could hardly decide what to eat because everything was always so delicious. But now you wonder if there's anything at all to eat these days. Run-of-the-mill cafeteria food. Apparently, the shortage of skilled workers is making itself felt here as well. Perhaps they should lower the prices more in line with the quality. If I didn't have vouchers every day from an educational institution that cooperates with the public sector, this cafeteria wouldn't be my lunch spot of choice.

Many thanks to the entire cafeteria staff! However, you can't really call this a cafeteria, because this diverse, innovative cuisine easily competes with better restaurants! No run-of-the-mill food. Whether Asian, Mediterranean, or German dishes, everything is prepared creatively, freshly, and with interesting spices – sometimes right at the counter. Please keep it up!!!

Good, balanced food, with three menus to choose from, all cooked and presented with great attention to detail. A balanced selection of dishes; there's always something for everyone, always healthy, and delicious. It's great that you can only pay by card. The atmosphere is good for a canteen; bright, there's plenty of space, and you can also eat on the large balcony, which is very nice in the summer. Friendly staff, and prices are quite reasonable at €5-7. Great!

Traurig aber war seit Tagen schaffen die es nicht einen Menüplan auf die Webseite zu stellen. Das muss ein schwieriges Unterfangen sein mal eben den Administrator oder den Hoster zu kontaktieren warum das nicht klappt. Auf Anfrage bei der Dame von der Öffentlichen hieß es gebe ein technisches Problem., gut das kann mal vorkommen aber nicht über mehrere Tage hinweg. So bleiben wir halt fern und suchen uns und eine andere Möglichkeit. Übrigens wenn wir mal dort essen weil es ein Menüplan gab, dann ist das Essen gut.

Die Zubereitung geht sehr schnell, die Kartenzahlung ist möglich und es gibt für Bargeldzahler einen Kassenautomaten. So finden auch in der Gruppe selbst ausgefallene Geschmäcker immer das passende Gericht. Seit der Neueröffnung gehen wir hier bereits ein und aus, daher können wir das SV Restaurant aufgrund der hohen Qualität jedem nur empfehlen! Demnächst öffnet auch noch die Dachterrasse, das wird dann sogar noch schöner dort, direkt am Lappan unter einem der ältesten Bäume Oldenburgs.

Das günstigste Gericht kostet 4,30 Euro. Leider müssen wohl die anderen Gerichte für 5,50 Euro oder mehr das günstige Gericht quersubventionieren. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis des vegetarischen Gerichts leidet dadurch sehr. Beispiel: Drei kleine Puffer, ein Klecks Apfelmus und kleiner Nachtisch für 5,50 Euro sind dann recht viel. Wenn das vegetarische Gericht das SPECIALS ohne Nachtisch ist, kann man das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis komplett vergessen. Einen Nach-/Zuschlag gibt es auch nicht mehr. Toll, wenn man danach zu Bäcker laufen muss, um satt zu werden. Statt des kleinen Nachtisches kann man ein Getränk nehmen. Okay, aber warum keinen kleinen Salat? Apropos Salat: Der Karottensalat war früher um Klassen besser. Auch gab es früher mehr Fisch. Was ist gut: Man kann kontaktlos mit der Kreditkarte oder dem Handy bezahlen. Wer das nicht will, muss eine Geldkarte erwerben (5 Euro Pfand) und vorher aufladen. Das Essen ist gut bis okay. Das Ambiente ist besser geworden.

Nach längerer Zeit mal wieder Gast gewesen und verärgert über die Preissteigerungen und die Verschlimmbesserungen im Service.
