Nice swimming pool, the prices are really fair at least as of August 2025

A very nice outdoor pool with great slides that are a lot of fun. The outdoor area is well-maintained and offers plenty of space to relax or play. We were also pleasantly surprised by the food – fresh fries, delicious snacks, and fair prices. A great place for a relaxing summer.

Olantis Huntebad has been a strong partner of the Academy for Sport and Health since 2024. With a variety of courses offered around Bremen, including aqua fitness, we look forward to our future collaboration!

Completely overcrowded. Kids jump all over your head. We paid €4 for a French fry and waited in line for half an hour. Disaster! Never again.

Big disappointment in the sauna! At the beginning of June, my girlfriend and I went back to the sauna at Olantis for the first time since the renovations, after a long break. Before every sauna session, there were long lines outside, sometimes outside in the rain and very cold temperatures. And this could last for at least 15 minutes. Then, after the staff opened the previously locked sauna door, everyone rushed to the benches at once. As a result, because it was regularly overcrowded, I had involuntary physical contact with strangers on both sides during the sauna session and had to remain in a completely tense posture. In the hustle and bustle, my girlfriend snagged a seat at least 2-3 meters away from me. This has nothing to do with rest and relaxation. I'm a long-time sauna-goer and have been to many different saunas, including in Germany, but I've never experienced such a procedure before. Before the renovation, this wasn't the case, and the sauna was always worth a visit. Unfortunately, not anymore. I wonder how all the other saunas manage it. The reason given for this practice is that guests often collapse. But I haven't experienced that anywhere myself. You can generally experience circulatory problems at any time in the sauna, even if you sit too long after the infusion. After all, it was at least June despite the inclement weather. It's even more unreasonable for guests to wait outside in winter, wearing only a bathrobe or towel, for health reasons, to be admitted. Moreover, the water in the outdoor pool in the sauna garden was so cold that we were happy not to use it. Too bad! But in the future, we'll probably drive a few kilometers further for an alternative.

Yes, it's a lot of fun. The only thing is that the restaurant has very few food options; every time I go there, an offer is removed. That's why I always recommend bringing something to eat and drink.

Actually a nice pool, but letting in at least three times as many people as the pool can handle when the outside temperature is 28 degrees is an imposition for everyone. The shower/dressing room is completely overcrowded and extremely dirty. A shame.

Very nice, well-maintained bathroom. It's a shame you can no longer book the food service on your chip. It's very inconvenient with the money. The food service area could be cleaned more often. The same goes for the restrooms.

Cold, boring, dirty! I bought a day ticket for my son and me, but we left after just two hours. It was simply too cold there. I was afraid he'd catch a cold. Then I'd rather go to a thermal spa; at least it's warm there. The children's play area was okay, but overcrowded. We won't be coming back. It's a shame.

For a swimming pool in our region, this one offers a lot for the money. We bought a family ticket. Parents plus two children, ages 4 and 6. The toddler area is fenced off from the rest of the pool and is a good size. Nice slides, nice pools, whirlpool, and jets... Look online for a detailed list and pictures. The family ticket included the indoor and outdoor pools. We were there late Sunday morning, and it became noticeably busier after 2 p.m. The restrooms and showers are OK.

Refers to the sauna area. Very nice facility, both inside and out. A good selection of loungers. Unfortunately, the infusions took place in overcrowded saunas, even though there is a super-large infusion sauna. This was only used for infusions after 4 p.m. What a shame.

A beautiful sauna area, perfect for relaxing and feeling good. We particularly enjoyed the panoramic sauna with its view of the Hunte River. The food was also excellent. The price/performance ratio for the entrance fee and the food is unbeatable.

Beautiful thermal baths, well laid out

Lovely pool with a great price. We went on a rainy day, so it was quite crowded. Three fun slides, one of which is a black category, which is fantastic. The food is quite pricey, and it was very cold in the restaurant due to an open door. Highly recommended for children of all ages. Note: be careful on the access road and park under the highway. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

There were lots of clumps of hair floating in the water. It was way too crowded. Sorry, never again on vacation.

Warm indoor pool...clean and pleasant ...

A nice water park in itself. However, it was far too crowded, and the showers and restrooms could use some renovation. The prices in the "restaurant" aren't exactly inviting for a meal. The prices at the water park itself are relatively reasonable. It was an interesting visit, but a second one isn't necessarily necessary.

A fantastic indoor pool. Lots of different pools. Everything is clean and in very good condition. The water is really warm. Ideal for those with frostbite and for swimming with beginners. I highly recommend it.

The sauna is quite good, but it was a shame that the restaurant kitchen closes at 7:30 p.m.

Unfortunately, I regretted another chance at this swimming pool. The baby pool was overcrowded with children between 8 and 10 years old, who more or less recklessly ran over the little ones, pushed them away, and there was no room for them. Nothing was said about this. Sad. But! The lifeguard told me that my swimwear wasn't allowed, which was the case. Sorry that she doesn't know what a swim skirt and matching top are. I asked her to touch it to see if it was swimwear. She refused. When I pointed out that I've never had any problems, even at the pool, she dismissed it, saying that my colleagues weren't doing their job. They obviously don't accept other cultures!!!!! That's more important than looking out for the well-being of the little ones. Never again at this pool!!!

Great sauna area, swimming pool is great for families. The food is of decent quality, but the prices are a bit too high in my opinion. If they were a bit lower, more guests would certainly order something. But I also understand that this isn't easy for everyone at the moment. But that's just my observation and personal opinion. Overall, the OLantis is always worth a stay.

A disappointing first visit – unfortunately, also the last. We visited Olantis for the first time today – unfortunately, the result was rather disappointing. The pool itself generally makes a solid impression, and the entrance fee is perfectly reasonable. However, it was so crowded that relaxing in the water or playing was almost impossible. It was so crowded that you could barely move freely in the water. Since the food court seemed a bit quieter, we decided to take a break there first. The prices there really shocked us: €3.10 for a soft drink, €4.00 for a portion of fries, €5.00 for chicken nuggets, €6.00 for a currywurst, and a whopping €9.00 for a burger – that's simply not affordable for a family with several children. The sanitary facilities (showers and toilets) were also in rather questionable condition – which we attributed to the sheer number of visitors, but which we still found very unpleasant. All in all, our first visit was unfortunately also our last. We had hoped for a much more pleasant stay.

The pool is highly recommended; clean, with friendly and adequate staff. The food and drink options, however, are unfortunately absolutely terrible. I find it a bit cheeky to pay €4.50 for a handful of fries... we paid €38.80 for one (very small) burger, six nuggets without dip, three fries, and three small drinks... and then waited over 20 minutes... I've had a different experience at comparable pools. We'll definitely visit the pool again... but definitely never again for the food! The pool deserves 5 stars for us, but the food isn't even worth one star!

We were there today and were very disappointed. We left after 30 minutes. It was completely overcrowded, kids were jumping off the edge of the pool everywhere (sometimes from slippery walls), and their feet were landing in their faces. (The supervisor just watched and said nothing.) No consideration was shown, and stress was inevitable. Too bad, we probably won't be back.

Simply thrilled by the sauna world, the saunas, the ambiance, and especially all the staff. We've been to many sauna complexes in Germany, but such warm interaction with the guests, the explanations, and the dedication during the infusions were a dream that enchanted our vacation in the north. Whether it was a gentle infusion in the river sauna or the brew infusion in the Polter Hütte, Hannah sweetened our mornings with her good humor and dedication, despite the bad weather. When we head north from the Palatinate, we'll definitely plan a sauna day here. A thousand of the Palatinate residents anchored in LU. Unfortunately, we had to deduct one star because the first restaurant doesn't open until 12 p.m., and we would have liked to have had something cold and an espresso beforehand.

The price for such a big city and what you get for it is great. Pools are nice, our daughter really enjoyed the kids' area, the slides were good, and the fact that you can also go to the outdoor pool with a day ticket is great. The food wasn't so great. We waited over an hour for fries, currywurst, and a burger. Some others even waited over 1.5 hours. The kitchen staff were completely overwhelmed. Someone was even crying in the kitchen. Receipts weren't processed in order. Total chaos. The pulled pork burger was also a joke. For €10, you got a small brioche bun with 50g of meat on it. Because there was nothing pulled. Apart from that, there was a tiny lettuce leaf on top. That's it. Conclusion: I would go swimming there again, but I'll definitely skip the obligatory pool fries in the future.

We've been coming to the sauna and swimming pool for a long time. Everyone's been very good. However, for the past two or three years, our new residents have been repeatedly breaking the rules. Please stop this now. I know some who no longer come to swim for the reasons stated. You have to make clear announcements immediately, otherwise they'll be reprimanded very quickly. Just don't be afraid of these people!

A beautiful swimming pool, but completely overcrowded, with a long walk to the parking lot. We left late (4:30 p.m.), and it was quieter. It's nice that you can use both the indoor and outdoor pools. With a family day pass for €19.50, you can stay as long as you like.

Beautiful day at the Olantis Huntebad in Oldenburg! We had a truly fantastic day at the Olantis! The pool is beautifully designed – I especially liked the river, which offers a great change of pace. The water was a bit murky, but that didn't spoil our fun at all. The entrance fee is absolutely fair, especially considering how much you can experience there. The kids had a blast, and it was simply lovely to spend time together in the fresh air. The indoor slides are also an absolute highlight. We'd definitely love to come back!

Two entries, no badge... My daughter's first attempt to have her bronze badge removed was spontaneous in the afternoon. I was fully understanding, but it wasn't possible at the time, but we were supposed to come back today at 9:30. I paid the entrance fee and then... super rude, no, that's not possible right now, we should take a break, and the colleague certainly doesn't have time either. On top of that, it was very unpleasant and unfriendly, OLantis, a dying service city. Certainly never again, no thanks!

A truly beautiful swimming pool that's fun with the kids even in bad weather. Unfortunately, everything positive also has its negative side. Waiting a good 45 minutes for your food (4 fries and 1 nugget) is way too long with hungry little ones. And dear guests, the changing rooms and hygiene areas wouldn't be so dirty if they were left clean. The poor cleaning staff are constantly working hard to get everything done!!!

The slides are very good and the outdoor area is very nice for children because of the cool slide and adults who like to swim and relax!

It's so overcrowded, it's no fun at all anymore. Why are so many people allowed in? Teenagers are jumping around in all the pools, and no one says anything. Last week, I heard an older couple do it; they were stunned and left the pool the same way. The concept urgently needs to be changed.

The pool itself is nice; the pools and slides are fun. But the pool is also showing its age, and you can see it everywhere in the swimming area. We were there one day when it was so crowded that it wasn't really fun. I wish there were traffic lights and a barrier to entry like in Norddeich. Swimming and diving with small children would no longer be possible. Furthermore, the showers and toilets are just about okay in terms of cleanliness, and with the number of people, it's difficult to find a functioning changing room and locker.

Great pool. Unfortunately, I noticed that it was far too crowded when the temperature was high. I think (and other swimmers thought so too) that admissions should be limited with temperatures like yesterday. Absolutely overcrowded, the water was cloudy, there were too few lifeguards, and there was insufficient security. This needs to be addressed.

We had a lot of fun with our grandchildren in the pool. Thank goodness the restaurant was open. Why not more often?

It's completely overcrowded in the summer, the changing rooms become a playground for teenagers. It's dirty, people jump wildly into the water, and people go in without showering, wearing T-shirts and underwear. And the worst part is, nobody does anything about it. You can't go to the pool with children or as a senior citizen anymore, as it's just chaos.

Won't be coming again. Changing rooms (walk-through cubicles with two lockable doors) are too dark. Sometimes the doors don't open on one side, so when it's busy, you end up waiting around. There are probably enough lifeguards on duty. Unfortunately, they don't care that people are constantly jumping into the water from the edge. (Lifeguards are basically standing there and don't see it, don't care ...

A lovely pool in itself where you can have lots of fun with the kids. Even now in summer, being able to switch between the adventure pool and the outdoor pool is really nice. Unfortunately, I'm deducting one star because it's tolerated that you can go into the water wearing normal clothes, like shorts and a T-shirt.

The pool is really nice. Its size means people are spread out well. Unfortunately, the showers are really small once a class is over. It's hard to get a shower, let alone get in or out.

We were in the sauna and wellness area again in glorious weather! Everything was as always: clean and tidy, and the staff were nice and friendly. 😀 Apparently, there are regular small changes to the menu and dishes in the restaurant. Everything is delicious, and the value for money offered here is definitely good! We'll be back! Highly recommended! 👍

Everything clean and not too crowded

Very clean and a wide range of options for the whole family. Plenty of space inside and out.

A fantastic, modernly equipped water park. A very beautiful and diverse sauna area with a fantastic outdoor area. The river sauna, with its floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water, is particularly impressive.

A great place. We spent three hours with the kids, and it flew by. The boys were never bored. Three slides, a trampoline, a wild river, and indoor and outdoor pools. The problem arose when we went outside, and the lawn turned out to be a "minefield," as if a pack of dogs had gotten in there and no one was cleaning it up. Very reasonable prices.

Today I went to the "Olantis Huntebad" with my family, and overall it was a very pleasant visit. The facility is beautifully designed and offers several separate areas so that even small children can splash around in peace. I particularly liked the natural swimming lake with the ship as a play backdrop – a great idea! The staff were very present and attentive to the bathers, which made us feel safe and relaxed. The entrance fees are moderate and absolutely appropriate for what is offered. The restaurant served excellent food, which rounded off our day perfectly. However, there were also a few negative points: The changing area unfortunately smelled strongly of feces, which was very unpleasant. Used diapers were lying around in the family shower, which is a hygiene concern. Furthermore, the changing rooms are extremely cramped – almost impossible for a parent with a small child. Despite these shortcomings, it was a lovely day, and we would come again. With a little more cleanliness and better organized changing rooms, the pool would be even better!

The outdoor pool was very clean and had plenty of lifeguards on duty. The only negative experience was that the chip shop closed at 6 p.m., even though the pool was open until 9 p.m. When I arrived at 5:10 p.m. with my family (two children), we planned to get some snacks and drinks, but we were unsuccessful. The children cried and screamed because they could see the snacks but couldn't buy them. Therefore, one star less...

I had an Ayurvedic full-body massage with Mandy today. I really enjoyed it. The room was dim, and she performed all the movements gently, allowing you to quickly enter a state of deep relaxation. Warm oil was dripped onto your body, which created a very pleasant sensation. Finally, it was your face and head. Great experience!! Thank you, Mandy!

Wellness area, here's my review. I went to the wellness area for a massage. The reception is always very friendly, everything is nice and clean, and they keep their time very punctual. Kudos to Viktor. I've never seen anyone do their job so well. He knows exactly what he's doing, to the point. He also tells you where the problems lie and that you might have a headache and sore muscles the next day. If you want a really good massage, go to him. Thank you very much Shiro Dyakuy

Having breakfast at the lighthouse was fantastic! The service was excellent, the ambiance was lovely, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had to make an effort to eat everything; nothing was left behind 😜

We went to Olantis for the first time with our granddaughter. We really liked it and had fun. We are thrilled and would love to come back. P.S. the staff are super friendly.

A full 5 points from us for the great pool and the... Friendly staff For what they offer, the price of €8 per person is really good for a day pass. With this day pass, you can use your pool as well as the outside. They have three pretty good slides there. You can also swim outside from the wellness area, which is really great. All in all, a very nice pool with everything you need for young and old.

Actually, it's a nice swimming pool, but certain people usually ruin your weekend visit. The operators and lifeguards don't seem to care. The security guards from the same planet even find their behavior amusing.

Disappointing visit on July 1, 2025 – completely unacceptable conditions I'm still stunned by what I experienced during my visit – even though I paid for it. The facility was completely overcrowded and simply not designed for the crowds. The few changing rooms in the entrance area seemed like a bad joke considering the hundreds of guests. The only shower, which only has enough space for four people at a time, is not only impractical but simply unacceptable. The situation was further exacerbated by the fact that there were only two hairdryer stations, which led to endless queues. Particularly shocking, however, was the condition of the water – it smelled unpleasant, was dirty, and seemed unhygienic. And as if that weren't enough: They charged four euros for a mini portion of fries. The price-performance ratio is outrageous. The partially loose stone slabs also posed a significant safety risk. What particularly annoys me is that the season has just begun – and yet there seems to have been no preparation at all. As a paying guest, you feel like you're not being taken seriously at all. This experience wasn't just disappointing, it made me truly angry.

Overall, a good pool, but a slide in the children's area has been closed for weeks. The delay in repairs is likely due to the supplier...

I loved the events in the sauna

To be honest, it was the first and last time we were there. The kiosk outside opens as it pleases. Drinks are overpriced, and you pay the same for fries. On top of that, people are free to wander around as they please; some are only allowed into the water in their underwear. Sometimes they wear a T-shirt, sometimes long trousers or leggings, and men wear boxer shorts. To be honest, there's no hygiene at all! This should be taken care of; it's outrageous. The lifeguards pay no attention to it.

Since we were there in the morning, it was great. Unfortunately, it's much too crowded in the afternoons and on weekends.

The sauna is great, it's a shame that the restaurant doesn't open until 12 o'clock, and the restaurant doesn't have any inexpensive dishes other than fries.

Highly recommended, with friendly, attentive service and a rich and delicious breakfast buffet. Our visit was a complete success.

Pure excitement: Midsummer Sauna Night and sauna experience at the Huntebad! My girlfriend and I visited the Huntebad's spa and sauna area for the first time – and right on time for the Midsummer Sauna Night. What can I say? Both the event itself and the regular sauna operation were simply fantastic! We were absolutely thrilled by the atmosphere, the infusions, and the entire offering. The Huntebad truly won us over. We will be happy to come regularly from now on and very much hope for more events as successful as this sauna night. Kudos to the entire team!

Nice swimming pool, much too crowded on weekends

We regularly go swimming for 90 minutes and think it's quite good here. Sure...the changing rooms are cramped and often not so clean...but that's the fault of the previous guest, less of Olantis. And unfortunately, that's something that happens everywhere. We still like the pool and keep coming.

The pool itself is beautiful; the various pools and slides are fun. However, one day we were there where we were packed together like sardines. That was stressful for me, because not every visitor is considered considerate. Swimming, diving, and sliding were only possible to a limited extent. Furthermore, the showers/toilets and changing rooms don't seem to have been designed for such a large number of people. There are far too few family changing rooms; you wait forever. And the regular changing rooms are almost too small for one adult alone. There's definitely room for improvement! Kudos to the lifeguards for keeping calm and overview in the hustle and bustle, and still being nice!

We've been there several times during our holidays with our children and were unfortunately not impressed. The pool was extremely crowded, which is understandable during the holiday season – but on top of that, almost half of the pool was closed to aquasports. Our children were given strange looks when they swam on the other side. We paid the entrance fee as normal and want to have fun just like everyone else. It's a shame that in such a case, families feel like they're "secondary." Perhaps the times for aquasports could be better organized or a separate area could be used.

Regarding the indoor pool only: A nice, fairly small pool with warm water in the leisure and non-swimmer pools. The large swimming pool is cool, which is also good. There are a few too many older children in the toddler non-swimmer pool, but how can you possibly limit that? It is possible to swim outside from the leisure pool into a separate area with an outdoor pool. Overall, it's rather functional, but the ambiance isn't particularly chic. The staff in the bistro at the pool were friendly, but the quality of the food there is very mediocre.

The changing rooms are in poor condition. Many of the door locks are broken, so you always have to lock both doors. Many people then forget to unlock both doors, which means that one door always remains locked, leading to considerable waiting times. They're also quite dark. Overall, the pool is starting to show its age. I would describe the cleanliness as just adequate at best. You don't have to follow the rules either; I saw many people jumping into the pool, watched by the staff, and no consequences. Many people don't even shower before entering the pool. I saw children with candy in the water. After my last visit, I reported many of the points to the staff at the checkout upon leaving. I doubt whether the criticism reached the right people; the guy was clearly not in the mood.

A worthwhile destination for families with small or large children! Light meals are also available. There are several pools to choose from, both indoors and outdoors, for playing and swimming. One- and three-meter boards.

Especially since the whirlpool/warm water pool is closed until further notice. - The aforementioned warm water pool is missing. Unfortunately, we were not able to be told when it would go into operation.

Great pool. The yellow turbo slide is the best. In summer, you can also swim in a small part of the Hunte River. Next to the pool, there's also a separate wellness area where you can treat yourself to a massage. Everything is always very clean👍🏼
