You shouldn't miss a visit here! The two of us had dinner and had a very pleasant stay. Despite the full house, we didn't have to wait long and the waitresses also took their time with the orders. No stress or anything like that. Just enjoy the time in a really cozy atmosphere and eat really delicious food. A must when you are in Oldenburg!

Unfortunately, during our visit we had to wait over 30 minutes for our food as we seemed to have been forgotten. It was disappointing to see how all the other tables that arrived after us had already received their food and even finished it while we were still waiting. After asking several times, the food finally came. Unfortunately, our evening didn't end any better: Another drink and side dish that we ordered didn't come at all because we were forgotten again. This ultimately annoyed us too much and we asked for the invoice. Overall, a disappointing experience - unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant and will not go there again.

The two of us were there on October 24th, 2024. The drinks we ordered came without a long wait. Our service staff was nice. The food we ordered came then. 2x kale. Lots of meat, little cabbage, lots of potatoes. The sausages were quite firm and difficult to cut. Didn't feel fresh. Unfortunately. The dessert (chocolate cake and creme brulee) were okay. The staff was replaced and was very attentive and accommodating. We gave tips.

We had breakfast with the family at Papa Rossi on a Friday because it was recommended to us. We had a reservation, but it didn't have to be that week. The buffet was very rich and tasty. Also suitable for vegans. Our children, 11 and 6 years old, were also very excited. The service staff are very attentive and friendly. All in all, highly recommended!

Went there for the first time today, tried the burger with fries and garlic dip. It really convinced me to definitely go back for dinner. I can only recommend it!

Unfortunately, I had a mixed first visit. We came in, were briefly greeted and were allowed to sit down. Quite normal in itself. We blamed the fact that the table wasn't yet prepared for new guests on the high occupancy that evening. Then we, including all the other guests in our area, had to wait for over 35 minutes and there was no service person there, not even the one who assigned us the seat. Because my wife was so impressed with the food (she had already been there), we went to the bartender ourselves to order something. After that we had another service person and then things went well, just like for the others in our area. The food is really, really good! The restaurant itself has a lot of potential. So if you're not above taking the initiative, you're in for a very tasty meal! I still give 3 stars for the service because everyone can have a bad day and the other employees responded immediately.

The burgers and fries were very tasty. The chilli mayo is absolutely great. Salad Mista was also great. The service was friendly and accommodating. We sat upstairs, where it's probably a little quieter than downstairs. We really liked it all around.

We (a family with a 5 year old child) were there on a Monday evening around 7 p.m., we ordered drinks and they took about 15 minutes, but we didn't see that as a big deal. When we ordered the food it was around 7:30 p.m. When the food finally came after 1 hour, then came the disappointment. My husband ordered beef roulade which was very puny for 23 euros, rather a disgrace for the price! Our 5 year old had a children's salami pizza for 6 euros, which wasn't a salami pizza with 2 slices of salami and was only lukewarm. I had a bruschetta pizza that was actually okay, but it was only lukewarm. All in all, we spent 65 euros and had to cook something at home because my husband and the 5 year old couldn't get enough! And not suitable for country boys, where are the schnitzels here please, other than a veal schnitzel! There are definitely more variations!!! All in all a complete disaster and a disgrace for the price and definitely NEVER again!!

The store is nicely decorated and the staff is attentive and quick. The food, on the other hand, doesn't come close to the general rating. Person 1's Pizza Magherita was on the level of a frozen pizza. The tomato sauce tasted watery and the dough hardly tasted like anything. Person 2's burger was okay - solid. Was happy with it. The Pasta Gusto from me was disappointing. It tasted mostly like garlic and overpowered the “grilled” vegetables. Unfortunately, the grilled vegetables were not nicely roasted, but at least they had a bit of a bite. 3.5/5

Despite there being fewer guests, the service was not good. The service staff were more busy talking to each other. We had ordered coffee and cake and the cake was only served when the coffee was already ¾ empty. In addition, the tables weren't really cleaned. But the coffee and cake were very tasty.

My companion's sandwich probably tasted quite good. We also had to wait ages to pay. We had to let them know a few times. All in all, we didn't understand the hype about this store and were really disappointed. A pity!

I really liked both the ambience and the furniture of the individual places, although the weather could be improved, but I guess they can't do anything about that. The employees are all very motivated, friendly and accommodating. But none of this is of any use if the food isn't right. I tried something different on both visits (bruschetta, piadina with falafel, burratta, anti-pasti pizza, chocolate bomb) and I can say that it was all very tasty and, above all, plentiful. During one visit we couldn't even eat dessert. All in all very recommendable. Update 07/09/24: Went there for the breakfast buffet on a Tuesday. Also great. Rolls, bread, croissants, muesli, cereals, salads, various spreads and toppings (also vegan). We will be back definitely.

Very cozy atmosphere and delicious food. We always had breakfast. The buffet is great. Huge selection, there is something for everyone! The prices are particularly attractive from Mon-Fri (€12 per person), although the prices on weekends (17 per person) are also very fair. Add a large cappuccino and breakfast is perfect. There is even a small play area for the children! Clear recommendation!

Very large selection of fresh and delicious things. Lots of vegetarian and vegan displays and dishes, friendly staff and you can talk at a very comfortable volume because it's not overcrowded and doesn't echo. Modern, furnished in an industrial look, there is space on 2 floors. If you're lucky, you'll get one of the seats on the large glass front on the 1st floor. During the week you can also go there without a reservation, it's a very good alternative to Celona, ​​MA or Extrablatt! The boss (Papa Rossi 😉) is also around the store himself. A nice, helpful man who always has a smile on his face.

The service was cheeky in a lovely way. The cocktails took a while, but there was a lot going on. Vanilla ice cream was no longer available in the evening, so the food we ordered was replaced with substitutes. A piece of cake that was ordered was completely forgotten. Unfortunately, the range of non-alcoholic cocktails is very small. The remaining cocktails are a bit expensive.

When cutlery and crockery are being cleared and clattering behind the counter in the dining room, it is too loud for ME. This is SUBJECTIVE and disturbing for people with noise sensitivity. But otherwise EVERYTHING IS GREAT.

The menu has a wide selection of delicious options. The staff is very kind, fast service. We ordered Pasta Carbonara and Lasagna Bolognese. Belgian waffles with ice cream for dessert. Everything was very tasty.

I went to this restaurant for the first time today with my father. The atmosphere was really nice, the inside of the store itself was extremely comfortable and homely. The service was very nice and also approved special requests. Wait times were average and the restrooms were cleaner than any other restroom I've ever seen. Overall I give the restaurant a 5 🌟 rating. I will visit the restaurant again to get a second opinion.

We visited Papa Rossi for the brunch, first of all, the buffet was amazing, really something for everyone! You can't imagine it better. But as far as the service is concerned... we asked politely if it would be possible to get 2 glasses of tap water, normally this is not a problem anywhere and if so, you can politely point out to the guest that this is not usual here. Despite a sharp look, we were given 2 small glasses of water. After asking again whether we would get water again, then the climax. Instead of making us aware on a communicative level that this doesn't exist here... we were given two half-full glasses and if that wasn't demonstrative enough, the water was almost boiling warm! We went to this place for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday. The offering was good, extensive and fresh. The service staff are very friendly and attentive The ambience is OK. It would be nice if there were simple juices and table water at the buffet, because the additional cost of drinks ultimately contradicts the price/performance ratio. As a guest, you should try to get a table that is not in the middle of the room. We had reserved and unfortunately we were assigned such a table. Unfortunately it is very uncomfortable, loud and hectic there. A change was not possible because the restaurant was full.

Went there today for the breakfast buffet. Everything is delicious and plentiful...it is always refilled immediately. The waitress responsible for us was really nice and attentive... Price/performance top! Aaaab...the disabled toilet is a complete disaster! In front of me it was used by a young waiter who didn't have a good nursery experience (standing pee)... all around the toilet..... Also completely unloving for disabled people. The anteroom is already full of junk and the actual toilet room is also a storage room (old chairs) Squeezed in between, not to mention a changing table. Given this situation, I wouldn't want to change a baby there. That is not how it works!

We have eaten at Papa Rossi many times and also ordered to be picked up. Otherwise everything was always fine and the food was always good. Today we ordered for pickup and were a little disappointed. The mayo with the fries was missing. When we returned home, the food was only lukewarm. (2.5km by car) The most disappointing thing of all was the children's portion of spaghetti with butter and ketchup for €3. That was a handful (not an understatement, we picked it up!) I had to cook pasta for our 5-year-old daughter. This portion is really cheeky for the price!

I didn't eat there so I can't rate the restaurant. We were there on May 1st and found that we were asked to pay €1 for entry to the festival toilets. Our money would only be refunded after consultation with security. At the finca you were not asked to pay. There we were informed that the toilets are of course free of charge. Voluntary tips always welcome.

The drinks were also good, lots of choice, even a lot without alcohol. The food (we had baked potatoes with falafel and a burger with fries) was rather average. The burger itself was great, but unfortunately the fries were way too greasy. And we really rarely complain about our food. The fries then came new with the statement “Yes, that happens often”… The baked potato was good, but the falafels were just a finished product. Tasty, but nothing special. The dips (guacamole and chili mayo) were hardly seasoned and not spicy either. We waited over 45 minutes for the two dishes, a little too long for two dishes, especially since it wasn't full. Conclusion: great for a snack and a drink, but unfortunately Papa Rossi doesn't have the same level as a restaurant. Perhaps the selection of dishes should be reduced so that the offering can be homemade, fresh and of higher quality.

Everyone was very attentive, breakfast was fine and for 12€ it was okay but the coffee is outrageously expensive like everywhere else, you can't understand that anymore because coffee hasn't become so expensive to buy that you get 500g of coffee for 1 cup of coffee get in the supermarket. We were there for the breakfast buffet, which we knew would be busy during the week during the Easter holidays. But if I don't have the staff to accommodate all the guests, then I won't occupy all the tables. Our drink order didn't come at all or had to be taken a second time, the buffet was 80% empty. The staff/kitchen just couldn't keep up. Our hard-boiled egg was bad, yes it smelled! Everyone at the table said. We gave it to the nice gentleman from the service in the kitchen, the chef said "the egg wasn't bad, he ate it, it was freshly delivered yesterday" The parking lot was completely full, and if the finka had been fully booked it would not have been possible to park.

Pizza was really mediocre and certainly OK for a snack. The schnitzels tasted like they had been fried in old, rancid oil. Unfortunately the taste was so bad that all the guests at the table had to return their schnitzel. This was also reported by other guests, unfortunately we didn't read the reviews beforehand. There was a relatively large piece of plastic in a burger and so it had to go back. Unfortunately, that made the visit to this restaurant a disaster. The service was visibly uncomfortable and responded as friendly as possible. Papa Rossi is certainly fine for a few drinks in the evening, but we won't eat there again. It's also far too expensive for the quality of the food!

Went there for brunch on a Sunday. Food was delicious and there was even a vegan selection :) The location itself is really nice, but since it is quite a large store, it was very, very loud. Might be okay for many but I don't like screaming all the time when you want to have a conversation 😅

That was the worst veal schnitzel of our life... We didn't think the schnitzel was made of breadcrumbs... The veal schnitzel was very thin and tough... As compensation we received spaghetti ice cream from the house. The spaghetti ice cream was a complete disaster, you could have drunk it, that was the biggest shame. The kitchen gets no points from us and we won't use it again. A compliment to the service, who was sweet and nice. The one star is just for the service.
