We were there on a Sunday, the food was very good, and the staff was excellent. The only thing that bothered us was that it was difficult to have a proper conversation because the noise from the other guests was very disruptive. Perhaps room dividers or something similar should be considered to make it more bearable. Otherwise, I can highly recommend Papa Rossi.

The bruschetta was absolutely fantastic, incredibly delicious and very filling. The coffee was also superb, and the service was world-class. We have absolutely no complaints; it was a lovely experience with a very nice atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Delicious breakfast buffet, the service a bit too personal for my taste (they put their hands on my shoulders while I ate), but otherwise excellent. Everything was quickly replenished and the drinks were also very tasty, just a bit pricey (e.g., €6 for 0.4l of lemonade and €12 for 1l of iced tea).

I was the unlucky one to get a very watery and bland pasta carbonara (with bacon). I make better pasta at home with basic ingredients, you expect the chef to elevate a dish more than a home cook. The rest of my table were satisfied by the burgers and pizza.

We were invited by our daughter, who turned 30 and celebrated with family and friends at Papa Rossi. The buffet was fantastic, varied, and truly delicious. We also had sensational service from a server with a beautiful smile who kept us supplied with coffee and other drinks. A thoroughly wonderful morning and lunch. It's a shame that our commute (over 200 km) doesn't allow us to be more regulars at "Papa." Incidentally, the price-performance ratio is also excellent. And we can certainly make comparisons. The food was delicious. However, if you go there hungry and only order pasta, be prepared to order something else as well. The service, or rather their system, was a bit disorganized that day, which isn't a big deal but shouldn't happen too often. The atmosphere is pleasant and nicely decorated.

Since Bar Celona next door was fully booked (BINGO!), we ended up here – which was a stroke of luck. We had something to celebrate and found the peace and quiet we needed. Moreover, the service and food were excellent; everyone enjoyed their meal. My avocado salad was particularly good. We'll be back.

A chic building, delicious food, and reasonably priced (for lunch). The staff were very helpful and friendly—although we had to wait over an hour for our food when the place was full. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and delicious.

The staff is super friendly and tries very hard to meet your needs, but... The selection is far too large and quite unsuitable for breakfast. Additionally, for the price, many items aren't fresh, but pre-packaged (meat salad or minced meat). But perhaps the most shocking thing... the hefty price for bottled orange juice... €7... absolutely ridiculous. I'm also not used to drinks like coffee, orange juice, or water not being included in the buffet. Definitely a reason for me not to come back.

We've been there many times and are always very satisfied. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food and drinks are always delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and some of them have funny sayings 😉 We feel at home in the location. It's beautifully and comfortably decorated. The noise level naturally increases with the number of guests. We look forward to continuing to be guests at Papa Rossi's in the future!

Friendly staff, very attentive. Unfortunately, we found the food extremely overpriced for the quality. I had the "Mila" salad. The dressing was forgotten, no problem! But the Camembert seemed like a ready-made product that wasn't even properly cooked. My companion had the goat cheese wrapped in bacon. It was served cold (and not crispy). Each dish was supposed to come with a bread basket. We were allowed to share one. A very questionable offer. They didn't really want to discuss anything, due to the staff's apparently overworked—who were nevertheless very friendly!

So far, the service was pleasant, except for a few inappropriate comments. The food arrived unseasoned after a nearly 30-minute wait, even though there were only about 10 other people there. The price-performance ratio was poor. Since my food didn't arrive at my table correctly, I pointed this out and was allowed to choose an alternative. At the end of the bill, I was charged for both dishes: the one I returned without touching, and the one I ate. My first and last time here.

We visited today with our dog and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Water was immediately provided for our dog. All in all, a very pleasant and delicious evening. Thank you very much, we would love to come back. 🤗

A solid place. The pizzas are delicious, but the drinks are very expensive. The waitresses are very friendly. The place itself is nothing special and lacks any particular character or charm.

The Aperol (2 pieces) consisted almost entirely of Prosecco, and the filling level was reached with ice cubes. The baked potato, which cost €10.50 (keyword: cost of goods or value for money), had far too little potato cream on it, and there were no extras. So, three-quarters of it was a dry potato. The veggie burger was delicious, and the fries were also good (€15). Total: €43. The service was friendly. The wait outside was a bit too long. Conclusion: The miserable Aperol prevents a 3-star rating.

We used to love going to Papa Rossi, even when Renè was still there with his tattoos. 😊 I've completely avoided the pizza offerings: no oregano, the tomato sauce was simply unseasoned, and the cheese was truly inedible. The shrimp pasta, as well as the garlic oil... haven't impressed me the last few times either. The prices are ridiculous, though. Today, unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the service either: - They didn't listen carefully to my order, so my order wasn't delivered in its entirety. - Standard service etiquette: Not once was I asked if I liked my meal... or if I needed anything else? - Empty salt and pepper shakers on the table. - My request to pay was simply forgotten. The ambiance, inside or outside, is simply wonderful. I don't know if I/we'll come back again?!

Very pretty restaurant with great staff. The Winetime menu is great. The vegan selection is quite good. The pasta aglio olio, of course, has few ingredients, but it still deserves to be flavorful. The pizza rolls and guacamole are excellent. A vegan dip is welcome, so you don't need anything else besides wine and pizza rolls. The vegan antipasti mix is ​​also highly recommended. The quality is top-notch and the selection is huge; there's definitely something for every taste. The service staff always had a smile on their faces and were always there to help, even when the place was full. We were a group of 8 for dinner, but everyone was completely satisfied there too. Papa Rossi - beautiful ambiance and delicious food. Please keep up the good work!

It was much too warm in the building.

The food arrived much too quickly, less than 15 minutes. The salad was wilted, diced carrots were dry, and the pizza rolls were cold. It felt like the food wasn't freshly prepared. It's a shame, because I don't like fast food and prefer quality.

As always, I read the reviews beforehand and was absolutely thrilled with how friendly, matter-of-fact, and simply great they responded to negative feedback...so I made a reservation right away. I have nothing but positive things to say...the breakfast buffet has everything your heart desires. There's also a vegan selection. It's fresh and tastes really good, and they constantly refilled our food. The service was super friendly, and we felt very welcome. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

We came here with our breakfast group. As always, it was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. The selection was plentiful. The only downside is that drinks are extra. So breakfast can easily add up to €40 per person. However, this has led us to slow down a bit! They've recently added a glass of sparkling wine on the house. We'll see how long that lasts 😉 Still, we'll be back!!! Highly recommend it!

I've eaten at Papa Rossi twice now and can say I'll be back for more. I really liked both the ambiance and the furniture in each of the tables. The weather could have been better, but I guess that's not their fault. The staff are all very motivated, friendly, and accommodating. But none of that matters if the food isn't great. I tried something different on both visits (bruschetta, piadina with falafel, burratta, antipasti pizza, chocolate bomb) and I can say it was all delicious and, above all, plentiful. On one visit, I couldn't even fit in dessert. All in all, highly recommended. Update 09/07/24: Went there on a Tuesday for the breakfast buffet. Also excellent. Rolls, bread, croissants, muesli, cereals, salads, a variety of spreads and toppings (including vegan). We'll definitely be back. Update 05.07.25: Another breakfast buffet, once again thrilled. Great selection, cheerful, friendly, and helpful staff. Still my highest recommendation for breakfast.

We were there on a Thursday around 4:45 p.m. – without a reservation, but we got a table without any problems. The location is really beautifully designed: cozy, modern, on two levels – pleasant both inside and out. It was a bit noisy outside due to the street, so we sat inside. Later, it got busier and therefore a bit louder, but the atmosphere remained relaxed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I was particularly pleased that the server pointed out to me that the "large" passion fruit spritzer comes in a liter – I found that very customer-oriented. I opted for the 0.4 l, which is actually already a "large" for me. We both had cheeseburgers with fries. The taste was perfectly fine, although not a culinary highlight – absolutely fine for me personally. The price for the meal was around €17, which is still reasonable considering the ambiance and portion size. The restrooms were very clean and there were enough of them (upstairs); I can't comment on accessibility. There's plenty of parking. Overall, a very nice place to eat, drink, and socialize – I'd love to come back.

Everything tasted fine. €17 per person is reasonable compared to other restaurants; children pay half price here. After our arrival, it took a bit longer to get hot drinks. But otherwise and afterwards, the service was good. A breakfast buffet here is definitely worth it.

A perfect evening all around!! We spontaneously dropped in with a small group as the evening was already drawing to a close, and we were immediately given a warm welcome. As the weather was great, we looked for a table outside and, thanks to the large selection of tables, quickly found one we liked, as every corner of the restaurant looks like a holiday setting. After we sat down, we were served very quickly by the waiters, who were both friendly and competent. Thanks to the good service, we got our food very quickly. It was of the highest quality and not only perfectly prepared, but also plentiful. The main course, starter, and dessert arrived at our table quickly and perfectly prepared. All in all, one can say that the spontaneous decision to eat at Papa Rossi was a brilliant idea and turned a lovely evening into a perfect one. We went to Papa Rossi for breakfast/brunch with a group of 20 people – and overall, we were very satisfied! The food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. A particularly positive aspect: Despite the group size, everything went smoothly. Small suggestion: The bread roll selection could be a bit more varied (there were only two varieties), and a few slices of bacon with the scrambled eggs would be a great little extra – ideally at no extra charge. 😉 Otherwise, a great atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely recommended. We'd be happy to come back!

We found the food very bad. We had already eaten there once in January, and yesterday it was nothing compared. We're quite certain it was ready-made food, meaning convenience food. The food arrived at the table in less than five minutes and was completely unseasoned. It was clear that it was made with ready-made sauces and ready-made products. We both had stomach problems afterward, which is how I always feel after eating any ready-made products or additives. It's a real shame that Papa Rossi has clearly switched to convenience food, certainly for cost reasons. We will definitely not eat there again; it's not worth it at all; we can cook much better food at home. It's a real shame that the changes happen so often at some point, and people think the guests won't notice or don't care. The service was good, and so was the ambiance. However, we'll only have a drink there again and definitely won't recommend it to anyone.

Two stars might seem a bit unfair, but ultimately, Papa is a restaurant. The ambiance is really nice, the service was good, and you can sit and chat there, but that's possible elsewhere. In the past, a while ago, I had a pizza with falafel...the falafel was the cheapest frozen food I would never buy myself. The pizza was so-so. We once went for ice cream with a voucher. That was pretty disappointing and I absolutely don't recommend it. This week, life's urging led me back there, and I gave the baked goat cheese a try. It was absolutely fourth-rate. The cheese was lukewarm at best, the vegetables were okay (any decent seasonings?), two mini pizza bread slices, and it was as boring as bread can be. If I hadn't added the kids' fries for three euros, it wouldn't even have been a meal. Absolutely disappointing, but at least the fries were worth the money. Unfortunately, there were no sweet potato fries. What's left? Nice conversation, very little good food and unless social pressures force it, not again.

The only negative thing I noticed was that when we were here for dinner, the appetizer was simply included with the main course. That was a bit of a shame and shouldn't have happened. I particularly like the exceptional non-alcoholic drinks here.

We went out to eat on a quiet day. We had a pizza and a burger. To be honest, the food didn't impress me. We couldn't even call it "standard" because the flavor was lacking. "There was no love put into the food." Value for money, therefore, wasn't there. The service took this into account and couldn't offer a convincing argument as to why the food wasn't seasoned. The food looked good and special, but for me, this wasn't the first restaurant where appearances are deceiving. Papa Rossi didn't impress me, and I can't recommend the restaurant.

The Sunday breakfast buffet is fantastic. But you can't eat more than you'll need. Personally, I prefer breakfast served at the table and people can chat at a normal volume. 4 stars nonetheless, because there was nothing wrong with the quality of the food—the rest is a matter of opinion.

We had dinner with you on May 1st. Unfortunately the pizza was a total failure. No salt, no oregano and not even the tomatoes that the menu says should be on the pizza. Unfortunately the pizza didn't taste like anything. In addition, the cola I ordered was warm and barely carbonated. When we wanted to pay, we were told that the waiter in charge would be there shortly. It then took another 15 minutes, even though there wasn't much going on in the restaurant. When I wanted to pay, he naturally pocketed my remaining money as a tip without asking and left. Very, very unfortunate!

We reserved a table after visiting the Escape Room. The service was very friendly and the food was also very good. There was nothing to complain about on our part. We will come back again. :-)

We were there for dinner with 6 people. The service was good, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is quite cozy, but also very loud when the house is full. Unfortunately the food (5×pizza, 1x lasagna) was cold when it came to the table. The pizza would certainly have been quite tasty, but cold pizza is not my taste. The lasagne was still lukewarm.

Unfortunately it was not possible to get the right drinks in the right glasses. When I asked, it was explained to me that it didn't matter which glass you got - or I would have to wait a long time, which meant the beer would be warm due to the flush. This attitude towards service and quality disappointed me. Especially in the catering industry, attention should be paid to such details in order to offer guests an all-round successful experience.

I really liked the location of the restaurant – attractively designed and inviting. Great view, ambience and table design impeccable. However, the service was less positive: at first we were ignored, even though the restaurant was not well attended. A system error led to delays in food delivery, which was annoying but acceptable. What was less pleasing, however, was the quality of the pizza. For €18 I would have expected more, but it only tasted mediocre. I also ordered a pizza with chicken - surprisingly there was broccoli on it, even though it wasn't mentioned on the menu. Overall, a mixed experience. 3 stars.

The service definitely took too long for me personally, despite the restaurant being empty. Waitresses are nice but as has been described several times in other reviews, people tend to chat rather than work. As a café, it's ok but unfortunately not more than "sufficient" for a restaurant. Starter came together with the main course. The only reason was “system error” We were given the opportunity to keep the food warm. To be honest, it's not a good solution for me. To eat: The starter was okay but unfortunately cold. (shepherd's cheese coated with bacon) Unfortunately, the main course (in our case pizza) was anything but good. It was edible but in our area every second kebab shop is better positioned. Unfortunately, price/performance is not the best in this case. For 2 drinks, 2 pizzas and a starter 58€, Unfortunately there are much better alternatives. The snack bar next door would probably have done the same for half the price. All in all, unfortunately it wasn't a successful visit and probably the last time for us.
