Very nice service, very tasty food!

Delicious, authentic cuisine with exceptionally high-quality fish. Every dish we tried was simply divine. We received a very warm welcome, and they readily accommodated our requests for changes. Upon entering, you're immediately greeted by the enticing display of fresh fish on ice at the counter. Perfect for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner. I'll definitely be back.

We spontaneously decided to eat sushi. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly, was beautifully presented, and really delicious.

- Unfortunately, we only learned upon arrival that the Schlemmerblock (a discount voucher booklet) is no longer accepted due to a change in ownership; this should have been stated on the website. The accessible restroom was unusable because the door was broken. Having only one restroom per gender is insufficient. The menu lacked an indication of spiciness, and the staff didn't point it out. We ordered a small Coke but received a large one, even though we requested one. Drinks weren't labeled in milliliters. + Otherwise, the food was delicious. Large portions. The staff were friendly.

Suvi Mannheim – a solid sushi spot that not only tastes great but also looks fantastic. 🍣✨ The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and definitely Instagrammable. The soup was also delicious! A particularly cool feature: you can choose between two menu sizes as well as the size of the individual sushi pieces. 💡 A well-thought-out concept with great attention to detail.

We wanted to use our Schlemmerblock (a discount voucher booklet) at this restaurant, having had good experiences with SUVI (a discounted restaurant) a few years ago. However, we found a sign outside stating that the Schlemmerblock was no longer valid due to a "change of ownership." This struck us as very odd, given that neither the interior nor the menu had changed. We therefore decided not to visit the restaurant at all and to boycott it from now on. Misleading customers like this is unacceptable!

Although we hadn't made a reservation, we were offered a table that was free for at least 45 minutes until the next reservation. We gratefully accepted. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

We wanted to eat at SUVI with the Schlemmerblock voucher, but were very disappointed. When we took our order, we were told that the Schlemmerblock voucher was no longer valid there. We were very upset and left after a heated discussion. The restaurant lures guests with the Schlemmerblock voucher and then doesn't redeem it... And we weren't the only ones who experienced this. It was very embarrassing for us!

We've always enjoyed our visit, but unfortunately, our last visit was very disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we received an unfriendly welcome and were seated at a table right by the door, where it was very cold. Our request to be seated elsewhere was ignored, even though there were still tables available. When we then said we'd rather leave, there was no response. We found this very disrespectful and a shame – especially because we've always enjoyed visiting your restaurant.

The food was okay, but they totally ripped me off. There was no response when I asked for the receipt. Not recommended. Be careful what you're charged. Never, ever, ever again. Customer service is out of place.

I didn't pay attention to where my boyfriend invited me, but we had a small event, and he said we could wear evening wear. We just wanted sushi, but we got much more! The soup with the shrimp was simply amazing—incredibly delicious. For me, the sushi boat was a real wow factor, and we were even seated under the sakura tree—an unforgettable evening! Five days have passed, but I still remember the taste of the soup as clearly as if I were eating it right then. The boat and the room with the sakura tree are still vivid in my mind. Thank you so much! I highly recommend it to everyone. P.S. The lack of parking is the only downside.

We were at the restaurant with a group of 16 people, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water, but the service was still. When we asked the server about it, they simply ignored us. Their only response was to ask if we had opened the bottle yet. One person's food was completely forgotten. For such a large group, we had hoped for attentive service, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed.

There are an incredible number of flies and fruit flies – they even crawl all over the food while you're eating. The staff shows no sense of responsibility for the unsanitary conditions in the restaurant. While they offered a cursory "apology," there was no sincerity or willingness to improve the situation. Overall, a very disappointing experience – no willingness to make the dining environment cleaner or more pleasant. Very poor.

The food was quite good, but the service was very inattentive. To reorder something, you have to go to the counter. There's no all-round view of the guests. Good service can be so simple, but that happens very often in the restaurant industry. It's not a problem if the staff is stressed because of the rush of customers. But standing bored at the counter and on your phone... no go. In the men's restroom, the last cleaning entry was dated September 2024 (correct, the date on the list). There was no cleaning recorded... The visit was on April 23, 2025... The restroom probably needs a thorough cleaning, see photos. No second visit planned. The power supply for the hand dryer would certainly also be of interest to the trade inspectorate...

Fantastic, high-quality sushi at fair prices. There's also a variety of other delicious appetizers and main courses. Very good and attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere. Online reservations are possible and recommended. You can now also pay with debit/Visa cards. All in all, highly recommended!

The food is quite different compared to the many Asian places around. Very creative and the decor inside is very pretty. The only thing that left us wanting more was the spice level in the food. Usually you would expect Asian food to be a little more spicy than what we got there. But otherwise I cannot complain

We've been going to Suvi regularly since 2019, and the restaurant is definitely one of our favorites in the area! We highly recommend the sushi, rice dishes, and even the appetizers. Another plus for us is that the restaurant is dog-friendly. ☺️

Unfortunately, not recommended for allergy sufferers. The menu does not list any allergens. There is also no allergen list. Although I was asked about my intolerances after mentioning gluten and milk, I was told there were only three or four dishes suitable for me. When I then selected two of them, they suddenly came without sauces, as these also contained allergens. The summer rolls were good, but far too dry without sauce. The food photos on the menu do not match the actual dishes. For example, the inside-out rolls are considerably smaller than in the photo and than you're used to. The homemade lemonade, however, was very tasty. The ambiance could be more harmonious – country music doesn't seem to fit in an Asian restaurant for me.

Complaint: I was just at your restaurant and I'm very disappointed. I just wanted a drink and asked if I could order a long drink. It cost €9, which was too expensive for me. I then wanted to order a coffee instead. But I was told that it wasn't possible to just have a drink without also eating. This is contradictory: At first, I was theoretically allowed to have a long drink for €9, but when I wanted to order a coffee instead, I was told to leave the restaurant because I "just wanted a drink." In Germany, there are clear legal regulations that restaurants must adhere to. Your restaurant is also obligated to observe these laws and serve fairly.

Our family has its favorites: Grandma loves the noodles, which are served stylishly on a small wooden boat, my girlfriend raves about the aromatic curries with fragrant rice, and for me, nothing beats the fresh, artfully prepared sushi. Every dish is prepared with great attention to detail, and you can taste it. We also like to come for business meals. Farewells for employees who leave the company. Meeting meals with managers etc. Another big plus is the warm service. One employee in particular, who has been there since the opening, ensures a pleasant atmosphere every time with his friendliness and attentiveness. You just feel welcome! The restaurant is always clean and well-kept, even if the ambience has suffered a bit over the years. But that doesn't dampen our enthusiasm - we're always happy to come back. In fact, we're already looking forward to our next meal at Suvi tonight! If you're in the mood for excellent Asian fusion cuisine in Mannheim, you should definitely try this restaurant. Absolute recommendation!

Disastrous experience - wrong food, incompetent service and disgusting children's menu! We ordered by phone, which was a challenge as communication was hardly possible due to our lack of knowledge of German. But that was just the beginning of the chaos. Instead of the chicken we ordered, we were delivered a vegetarian alternative - completely inedible and definitely not what we ordered. Instead of apologizing for the obvious mistake or offering a solution, we were blamed. No replacement, no compensation - just ignorance and unkindness. The service was subpar, and on top of that the menu isn't up to date online, causing further confusion. The children's menu was particularly bad. The meat was so disgusting that my daughter almost vomited! An absolute disgrace, especially for children. An absolutely disappointing experience - wrong food, poor service and zero customer focus. If you value quality, you should definitely not order here. We definitely never again!

We ate here for the first time today. It was incredibly good🤩. The dishes are prepared fresh, as well as appealing. Very large portions - value for money is right here👍🏻. What can still be improved: Ask every now and then, even if you're still eating, whether everything is okay! Our drinks were already empty, but we didn't have the opportunity to order more. Otherwise, super nice service staff and a nice atmosphere thanks to the furnishing concept.

What was feared has now happened. Had dinner there yesterday. I had coconut curry with chicken, my girlfriend had three different sushi rolls. Immediately after eating we started having stomach cramps. She tried mine (1 mini piece of chicken) and I tried a piece of sushi from hers. When we get home it starts with nausea and vomiting - FOOD POISONING. In addition, we even mentioned it to the waiter on site that we were very uncomfortable, but that there was something wrong with the food. We left a bunch of money there and this is the result. We weren't even approached in any other way. Just very disappointing and I'll call them again today before it gets to someone else.
