I had dinner here with my husband. The restaurant is nicely decorated inside, but the menu was completely different than the one we saw on the homepage. They now have a new menu with different prices and dishes. We then had to choose something else, which is fine. I had breaded chicken with rice and vegetables. It tasted good at the beginning, but in the middle of it my stomach started hurting and I had to go to the toilet. While we were eating there were 3 bluebottles circling around our food. I don't know what the kitchen looks like. When I paid I told the waitress that my food wasn't good and I had a stomach ache and had to go straight to the toilet. She just laughed and said: "Aso, ok, yes, yes." I think she didn't know what to say. One might have expected an apology. I paid the full price of almost €55 for two drinks and two main courses. Never again. No recommendation and I would rather inform the health authority.

Very tasty vegetarian dishes! My friends love the fresh fish/sushi and the service is very quick. In addition, the dishes are beautifully presented and are a real eye-catcher for example. birthday parties. Frequent contact point for my family/friends and also to go when I get home from work :) Can just be recommended (Also try the homemade ginger drink)

For a quick meal, simply order the salmon with vegetables and rice. People were very friendly and the food was okay. The portion was very good and the main courses will definitely fill you up. It wasn't anything super special, but still solid if you just want to eat something sensible.

Prices aren't cheap but it's worth trying. For all sushi lovers.

Overall we were very satisfied. Unfortunately the rice and the sauce of the curry (2/4 of the main course) were cold - the taste was perfect, but I'm sure it would have tasted even better warm. The salmon in one of the 4 main courses we ordered was to die for, whereas the pieces of beef in the curry weren't particularly tender. Still not a disappointment in terms of taste for a casual dinner with friends or family. The selection of sauces for the starter plate was really good / I can recommend the restaurant and hope for warm rice and curry sauce next time, as well as more tender! Thanks to the team for the flavor compositions and visually appealing presentations, especially with the tempura salmon roll. Ambience: the chairs at the tables are more lounge-like and are only moderately suitable for dining - we will reserve a table with benches next time.

I've eaten sushi many times, but Suvi takes it up a notch! Super tasty, attentive staff! Even though it wasn't exactly cheap (without looking at the price and with very, very empty stomachs for two with a tip of 150 euros) it was simply great! We will be back.

I only found the shop by chance because, on the one hand, it is very remote and from the outside it looks more like a take-away. However, behind the inconspicuous entrance there is a relatively large and very modern restaurant The sushi was highly recommended and the staff were friendly too However, you should note that you can only pay in cash here All in all a nice atmosphere and definitely recommended!

Food was great. We had the summer rolls and 2x bento. However, the seating is pretty worn out. Especially the bench.

Used to be my favorite Shushi shop, but has declined significantly. 1. Prices increased again (at least the 3rd time since opening!) which is definitely no longer justified, because... 2. Staff has changed, which is unfortunately noticeable. You constantly have to ask for service, tables were unclean and drinks were simply forgotten. 3. Portions are getting smaller and smaller. 4. All tables and chairs are very outdated, wobbling and already dead. As I said, not for that much money! A roll of sushi over €20 (8 pieces) That was the last time....

Food, service simply great. The food is always super fresh and beautifully prepared. Service was friendly without being intrusive. A little more expensive, but the quality is absolutely there. Always my pleasure.

I haven't seen such bad service in a long time, the waiters were both disorganized, unfriendly and in a bad mood, the atmosphere was pleasant, although the food could still be improved a bit. Not recommended, we won't come a second time.

There was a fly in the food. The place we were given was not cleaned properly beforehand. The shrimp were not properly deveined. We didn't get our food at the same time. The sushi was served really nicely and tasted good, but still nothing special and therefore the price is absolutely not justified. It's ok to go there once, but not a second time.

The food was very tasty, the portions are large and the quality is good. The prices are normal to cheap. The employees come regularly to check whether you need anything and the waiting time for the main course was normal to short.

Food was good, but in my opinion quite expensive for solid sushi. Big disadvantage: We had to leave after 2 hours: the next guests were already at the table and waiting. This was very unpleasant for us and if we had known about it earlier, we would have come for a quick lunch and a cozy dinner. P.S.: you can only pay in cash!

Excellent sushi dinner that we had. Very nice place and black style but it is dimly lit and it seems that it is dark. Very slow and disorganized service. Drinks are good but the glasses are half full with too much ice. Sushi was very good and we were happy. We recommend booking in advance as the place is always full.

The restaurant smelled like a mothball (?). The smell was very pungent. We ordered the sushi for 2: the fish smelled and tasted very pungent. We sent the plate back untouched. There was only a brief apology, no offer of a discount. We had to pay with PayPal via friends (even though it is a store). Very disappointing.

Be careful when ordering for pickup: the prices in the menu on the homepage are not correct, which the staff freely admit. In our case the actual price was 25% higher. SUVI only accepts cash, although the menu on the homepage contains minimum amounts for debit and credit cards (as of April 1, 2024). A rather questionable practice for the higher price level. Once and never again.

This sushi restaurant also serves dishes other than sushi. As a starter I decided on the summer roll with salmon, which was created with fresh ingredients, but the taste didn't meet my expectations. That's what happened to me with the butterfish. However, the vegetables with the curry sauce were delicious. Cash only. Reservations are recommended, which can also be done online.

We were in the SUVI for the first time today. The restaurant is very modern and has very friendly and attentive staff. The tips on eating were helpful. The food was very tasty and incredibly beautifully prepared. From the starter to the main course. Unfortunately, dessert didn't fit anymore :-) The price is definitely justified. We will definitely come back and take the hour drive into account. Thank you

We were in SUVI Mannheim. We ate sushi and it was delicious as always. It is very important that you reserve in good time.

Food tastes good. The lemonades look great. The staff is friendly, but unfortunately we had a bit of a problem with communication. We had ordered Vietnamese coffee and after waiting 20 minutes and asking, we were told that there was no more coffee available. 3 minutes later we were told that there were exactly 2 cups left and they would be there soon. We also had no dessert. No ice cream, no sesame balls. The main prize was soy duck. It's a shame, I wouldn't have expected it on a Sunday evening.

Flight flies on the table, dozens of them. Dirty chairs. Unfriendly greeting even though we made a reservation. No wipes in the toilet. The floor in the bathroom is sticky. Talk too sharp even though ordered differently.

We were there for dinner yesterday. Unfortunately the stay wasn't very nice. Unfortunately it was very dirty, the menu was very worn and sticky. Some dishes not available. Instead of wild herb salad you get other salad that seems inferior. Unfortunately my food was cold. The service staff is rather inattentive and unfortunately you have to wait a long time with an empty glass for another drink. Eating out is no fun.

We booked a table for Valentine's Day. There were problems with free space already at the beginning. no one warned during the reservation that payment was only in cash. after that we were given one menu for 79.90 euros for two and that’s it. there were no photos or explanations of what exactly would be on the plates. there was only lemonade and wine on the menu, when I asked for something hot, the waiter said that this was simply not on the menu today. no apologies, he was looking at me as if this was in the order of things. the atmosphere after was not great. The tables are small and close to each other. some are a step higher and people from above look at you from below and at your table, as was the case in my case, it’s not comfortable. Each type of roll contained avocado, which took away all my appetite. 80 euros for that amount of food was too much. in the normal menu they had dishes for two for 60 euros. didnt expect that service could ruin such a nice food.

One hour between arrival and having food on the table. Very attentive waiters and great service. The food is good but I think the decorations on the dishes try to compensate for the small jump in quality that would make it 5 stars. At the entrance it says cash payment only, but you can also pay with PayPal.

Sehr sehr lecker. Schnelle, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Speisenkarte sehr umfangreich, werden uns da mal durcharbeiten. Nur Barzahlung (hatten zum Glück aber Geld dabei) Meine Empfehlung: Reservieren, sonst bekommt man kaum einen Platz. Zeit ist begrenzt auf etwa anderthalb Stunden. Wir hatten für 17.45 Uhr reserviert, hätten bis 19.15 Uhr bleiben können, waren aber um 18.30 Uhr schon fertig, da das Essen schnell kam und wir einfach nur Essen wollten. Hätten aber noch knappe Stunde Zeit gehabt. Ich saß neben der Türe, war etwas zugig, aber ging. Insgesamt sehr schmackhafte Gerichte, preislich sehr gut und riesige Auswahl.

Essen super lecker 👍👍👍 Aber die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig (Fenster, Heizung) voll mit Spinnweben und Essensresten. Die Stühle sind abgenutzt und wackelig.

Wir waren neulich zum Mittagstisch dort. Es war einfach sehr sehr kalt. Man kann sein Essen nicht genießen, wenn man friert. Das Personal hat leider sehr schlecht Deutsch gesprochen. Und das Essen selbst war „ok“ .

Der Lack ist ab! Das SUVI ist sehr gut gestartet hat aber enorm abgebaut. Der Service ist immer noch eine ausbaufähige Note 2. Das Ambiente gleicht immer mehr einer alternativen Bar in St. Pauli. Die Wandfarbe bröselt, die Toiletten sehen aus als hätten sie seit Tagen keinen Lappen gesehen und die Spinnen bauen ihre Nester in den Ecken. Abgewetzte vergilbte Zettel weisen auf die fehlende Kartenakzeptanz hin und Hinweise für die Gäste sind lieblos mit Edding riesengroß an die Türen gekritzelt. Die Speisekarten sind zerfleddert und das Interieur abgegriffen. Im Eingang begrüßt einen eine Kruschelecke und das PET Flaschenlager. Selten so einen rasanten Abstieg gesehen in so einer schicken Gegend. Das Essen ist einfallslos aber teilweise schön angerichtet und das Personal bemüht. Hier ist dringend eine Renovierung nötig, der Laden aber trotzdem voll. Unglaublich. Vielleicht bin einfach nur ich hier falsch.

Negativ Bsp: - Eingangsbereich gleicht einer Imbissbude, es liegen Plastikflaschen herum - Zwischen der Deko liegen leere WLAN Router Päckchen - Speisekarten extrem abgegriffen und unappetitlich - zur Sauberkeit im Lokal ist wenig zu sagen, da es sehr dunkel ist, allerdings sind die Toiletten ein NoGo, keine Papiertücher zum Hände abtrocknen, dh die Leute wedeln das Wasser umher, sodass der komplette Boden nass ist. Wände und Fenster nicht geputzt, einfach schmuddelig - Essen bestellen auf Nachfrage, da das Personal uns vergessen hat Positiv - das Essen war lecker und war nett angerichtet - Preise ok

First thing: make card payment available or possible. This restaurant has only cash payments when we had visited, that was really not flexible for a restaurant in the city. The service was ok. Food was ok. The ambience is good.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen. Das essen ist köstlich. Man sitzt ein bisschen zu nah an anderen Gästen aber das Ambiente ist schön und gemütlich. Das sind auch relativ gute Preise für solch gutes Essen.

Delicious. We appreciated the variety of foods offered and had some Sushi first before the main dishes. I liked that the menu had a full vegetarian page with nice options. Unfortunately it was not clear which ones were *vegan*, I believe most of them would be (as they offered soy-based chicken) and such. I helped looking at the online menu to not be too overwhelmed 😆 We also felt that the portions were rather generous, which we liked. Loved that they offered kid's meals, however both included real chicken meat. We told them to not bring the meat, so they brought us two veggie dumplings instead. One server was interacting with our toddler and upon that brought her a lollipop and handed it to her directly. This is extremely frustrating to parents. Of course the server meant well, but now we have a toddler that at 9 pm wants to eat the lollipop RIGHT NOW and we have to deal with the repercussions of this. Another server came by a little later asking us if she could give our child a lollipop which we said, no thank you as she already received one. So. Food was great. The place was pretty. Our server was nice and accommodating. So they get 5* from me. My husband disagrees because of the lollipop 😆 I really wish we had been asked about that annoying lollipop. As she wasn't allowed to eat it last night, our toddler spent most of today asking when she can eat it (plus Adventskalender, Christmas Market waffles and gummy bears from Grandma) - I really get frustrated that kids are given sugar so frequently without the parents okay. It is just plain unhealthy and unnecessary. (And often not vegan). Want to give something to kids? A sticker, a kids tattoo, pencils to draw, a picture to paint, a toy to use while at the restaurant, fruit (after asking parents)...

Menu was changed from what was posted online. So I asked for noodles instead of rice (what was the original side for the dish) and they wanted to charge me 33% more just for the replacement. Despite that being unreasonable I felt the conversation very rude. The girl from the service though was really nice and friendly so she alone earned the remaining star.

We really enjoyed SUVI despite choosing it somewhat randomly. Food was great, service was quick and menu is expansive across many types of Asian food. Be aware that payment is only acceptable via cash or PayPal - no credit cards accepted!

Beste Kombination für Mannheim: Im Niu Square schlafen- im Suvi super lecker Abendessen-und im Universe Kaffee morgens Frühstück oder Brunchen! Alles zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Alles richtig gemacht 😌. Ein Stern abgezogen im Suvi, da man leider nur bar bezahlen kann (schwierig bei Geschäftessen) und besser vorher reservieren.

Wir waren jetzt 3 mal in den letzten Jahren hier essen und leider immer wieder nicht ganz happy. Wir dachten uns alle guten Dinge sind drei und haben dem ganzen nochmal eine Chance gegeben, da uns die Location so gut gefällt. Nervig ist schon die Parkplatzsuche, wobei das Restaurant natürlich nichts dafür kann! Das erste was man gesagt bekommt beim Betreten, ist dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist. Okay kein Problem, aber über so einen langen Zeitraum nicht möglich? Speisekarten komplett abgegriffen und unappetitlich. Summerrolls klebten aneinander und am Teller, waren nicht wirklich frisch. Suppe total geschmacklos. Hauptspeise Reis, Gemüse und Garnelen war gut, aber für 19 € total überteuert. Hauptspeise Sushi war auch sehr fad, schmeckte wie aus dem Supermarkt. Die Servicekräfte beachteten und nicht mehr und wir mussten darum bitten, unsere Teller abzuräumen und uns ein Dessert zu bringen (Mochi Eis war gut). Die Kellner liefen Essen kauend im vorderen Bereich herum und kümmerten sich nicht wirklich um die Gäste. Und dafür 70€…wir haben viele Chancen gegeben in den letzten Jahren, aber das war definitiv das letzte Mal.

Aufgrund einer Dienstreise im Mannheim und in der Nachbarschaft meines Hotels bin ich auf dieses Lokal aufmerksam geworden. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen, geschmeckt und sehr schönes Ambiente. Super freundliche Personal. Ich komme gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße Rene

Nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal,Essen war super lecker,das Ampiente reduziert schön.... 1 Stern Abzug weil unser Essen vergessen wurde und weil man mit Kerzen auf dem Tisch viel Wärme und Gemütlichkeit noch schaffen könnte. Wir kommen wieder.

Sushi war gut wenn auch nicht preiswert. Hauptmenü war mittelmässig. Service war leider auch nur unterdurchschnittlich. Wein zum Hauptmenü wurde erst servirt als ich fast fertig war. Bin gerne bereit viel Geld zu bezahlten wenn auch die auch die Leistung stimmt. Das Sushi war sehr gut und hat lecker geschmeckt. Besser nur Sushi bestellen.
