Highly recommended. It was our first time there. Very small, but nice...The sushi is freshly prepared and leaves nothing to be desired.

Mindestens 1x im Monat ist Kyoto Pflicht!! Sooo leckeres Sushi und auch der Kyoto-Salat ist ein Muss! Wir lieben es hier, man kennt uns und wir bekommen schon automatisch das Lieblingssushi von der sehr freundlichen Inhaberin gereicht! TOP!

The sushi is really filling and tastes amazing. If I'm really craving sushi, I'll go there. It's expensive, but definitely worth the price. I really recommend everyone to go there and will continue to do so!

Delicious sushi; instead of running sushi, there's swimming sushi or you can choose from the menu. You can watch the master prepare the dishes at the central island. Everything is beautifully presented. The black plate with three pieces for €7 is a bit borderline... Visited in June 2025.

Very attentive service. The sushi is also very tasty and qualitatively. I especially recommend the menus. They are great value for money and you are served a wide range of food.

Food was very tasty, but prices are quite high for the portion. I forked out €30 and didn't even notice that I had eaten anything. Portions are adequate based on the number of pieces, but the size of the pieces is ridiculous.

We spontaneously went to Kyoto and despite not having a reservation we were warmly welcomed and we were able to sit down at the sushi bar. You can order from the menu or just take it off the boat. The prices for the boat are also marked in color on the menu. Each plate has a color that is assigned to the price. At the Boot Bar you can also see how they prepare the sushi. The disadvantage is that you just sit there on the presented plate. We find that extremely unpleasant, especially when it gets more crowded. Depending on how hungry you are, it can also be expensive for you. Depending on how many or which plates you eat, the price will be higher. Unfortunately no All Can You Eat. We were still satisfied and will come back again.

We were in Mannheim and spontaneously ended up in Kyoto. Great atmosphere on the “Sushi Island” with excellent sushi. Small boats on the water sail right past you while you can watch the fresh sushi being prepared in the interior of the island. The prices are a little higher, but absolutely justified. We'll definitely come back.

I made a reservation for dinner weeks ago, but when I arrived I discovered that the shop had been closed for over a week. I was not informed about this, which is more than annoying as I have a journey of almost 2 hours. Customer service is a foreign word here

It was very tasty, nice atmosphere and absolutely friendly service

Our whole family likes Kyoto Sushi Bar. At the central area is a small water stream along the bar with little boats. You can order food from the menu or take a dish from one of the boats. Inside the central area, they are preparing the food freshly for you and you can watch them how they do it. I'm not a big fan of fish, but I still like it. I usually have a miso soup as starter and then some Sushi with tempura fried vegetables or with king prawns or tofu bags (slightly sweet). A must have is also the matcha (green tea) ice cream as desert, whilst the Japanese orange ice cream tastes also very good. Often I have a scoop of each. We live 35km away from Mannheim and whenever we go to Mannheim for shopping, the kids insist that once we've finished shopping we go there.

During our visit to Mannheim we spontaneously stopped by Kyoto. Our daughter wanted sushi. The service was very friendly and helpful. And we really enjoyed the sushi.

Die Qualität ist das aller letzte. Der Fisch war nicht frisch und hat nur ekelhaft geschmeckt. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt keineswegs. Bitte niemals zum Sushi essen in dieses Restaurant gehen.

Der beste Sushi Laden in Mannheim, ich würde sogar soweit gehen und sagen, der beste im Rhein-Neckar-Kreis. Der Sushimeister ist seit immer der gleiche, das sollte eigentlich schon aussagekräftig genug sein.

Really good service: congratulations, 5 stars, well deserved. Food: high quality products with an A- rating. Congratulations for that too. Was really surprised. One suggestion: to the white interior, please replace LED spots with some warm white one, just to make the ambience look even more comfortable + place more Japanese Art on walls. Very big frames, that’s a booster. Otherwise, 5 stars for everything.

Sehr gutes Sushi, welches vor dir zubereitet wird. Ebenfalls sehr aufmerksames Personal. Durch das Komponentenessen (gekennzeichnet durch farbige Schälchen) können schnell höhere Summen zustande kommen (z.B. schwarzer Rand 2-4 Sushi = 6€).

Für mich das beste Sushi in Mannheim. Immer gerne wieder.

Schöne, kleine Sushi-Bar, in der das Essen auf kleinen Schiffchen um den Tische fahren. Eine wirklich schöne und besondere Idee. Inhaber und Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind genau im Durschnitt, dafür ist die Qualität sehr gut. Das Sushi wird vor den Augen der Gäste zubereitet. Klare Empfehlung für diese Sushi-Bar.

Food: 4.5/5 Good crunchy from the fried prawn roll, tasty as well. Well made and delicious. Nice ingredients. Beers were also super chilled, very nice. Edamame was good as well. Service: 5/5 Great service, very nice, friendly, and attentive.

Das Mittagsmenü ist nicht schlecht. Allerdings ist das Abendmenü unverhältnismäßig teuer. Garnelen-Tempura ist außen warm und innen kalt. Eine günstige Art zu kochen.

Sehr leckeres Sushi, tolle Fischqualität und sehr nette Bedienung. Wir kommen immer gerne hier her.
