Sushi Yana in Berlin

Delivery was very fast and the driver was very friendly. The food was really fresh and clean. I'd gladly order from Sushi Yana Tegel again.

I'm addicted to the hot and sour soup. I usually order online for delivery, but pickup is also quick and easy. I've been a regular customer for a while now and really enjoy eating here. I'm happy to accept that the food arrives lukewarm. But today it was freezing cold! And once again, the driver was unfriendly. So I called the restaurant (November 8th, 8:27 PM) to report the freezing cold food and tried to explain the situation (politely), but they just hung up on me. That's unbelievable. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering from here again. Luckily, there's plenty of competition.

I highly recommend Sushi Yana. The prices are reasonable and everything tastes great. We've been customers for years. Sushi Yana certainly won't disappoint you. Keep up the good work!

The food looks phenomenal; it is decorated and served in a very pleasing manner. This place is actually more of a delivery service or to-go shop. I stood in front of the counter in the empty shop for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to come out of the kitchen, where they were obviously busy preparing takeout and orders. Our order, which we placed ourselves, arrived at the table relatively quickly. It was extremely well priced. At one point I was really worried that I might upset my stomach with the raw fish. But it didn't smell of fish, and the food didn't seem old. Nevertheless, the sushi doesn't taste like you'd expect from more upscale shops, and the decorations were obviously prepared hours in advance and were very dry. As a snack between meals or when you're really in a hurry, it's certainly a good alternative to expensive sushi restaurants.

The bowl at the end was not up to culinary standards: there was no sauce of any kind, meaning it was dry, the seaweed tasted "musty," meaning old... and the avocado was definitely old (inedible). Sorry, that's not right. Ultimately, it's not fair. I'm happy to pay for good/normal food. But the order was far from that. The delivery person was friendly, though, and it was quick—now I know why.

Very poor delivery service. Ordered today, arrived – without so much as a hello. He looked at me strangely when I accepted the food, and when I said "goodbye," I got a "Okay." Then I realized: he was on the phone. Very rude, and I don't support that kind of behavior!

Since my doorbell is broken, I left the front door open and waited for my order. Even though the door was open, the courier didn't come up. In addition, he didn't have a card reader with him, even though I had previously said that I would pay with a debit card. He also didn't have any change with him, so I was forced to give him a "forced" tip of €3. It was the rudest and most unfriendly courier I have ever seen. I will never order from you again.

We ordered food through the Lieferando app. As for the service, it was a disaster—there’s always something missing from the order, and instead of providing proper customer service, they act as if nothing happened. On top of that, the waiting time is ridiculously long. We ordered three items and had to wait an entire hour. All in all, the service was terrible, and the delivery staff was just as bad.

If I could 0 points... after the food arrived ice cold after 2 hours and no one could be reached by phone in the restaurant... 0 points such behavior is not acceptable, plus the inedible ice cold food... never this shop again and I advise everyone else to stay away from the shop... after 2 hours of cold there is no reaction from the shop... or just accept it... so if you order a rice dish and later get sushi... you have to accept that because you won't get an answer from the shop!!! The food arrived at our home 90 minutes late and I don't understand how you can mess up rice with baked chicken like that? The rice arrived to us like a baby porridge and the baked chicken looked like it had been freshly warmed up in the microwave from the freezer. Now I come to my sweet-sour-spicy soup, which had more water than anything else and only tasted like tomato soup. Instead of there being an excuse for such a meal after 90 minutes of arrival, nothing!!! If you want to help your appetite and do something good for your stomach...then order from another store. And unfortunately you have to accept this criticism, sorry!! I can't say anything about the ambience of the store (order). Unfortunately, Google doesn't have a star or a half star. For the first time in my life, something I ordered wasn't eaten.

DANGER !!! TO ALL TEGELERS, DON'T ORDER HERE ANYMORE. We used to enjoy ordering here, but apparently there is a new owner. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior in my life as I did in this store. We ordered there and after over 1.5 hours the food arrived without the sauces we ordered. A girl answered the phone who sounded underage, was very unfriendly and then simply hung up in the middle of the conversation. Then we called again and the supposed boss told us that he had recently taken over the shop and that there was no way we would get our money back and that we could eat the pasta dry, cold and without sauce and hung up on the phone again. There was not a single apology but the supposed “boss” just said: “What kind of films do you make?” To us it sounded like children/teenagers were working there and the actual adult wasn't there. Please do yourself a favor and stop ordering there, it's not worth all the stress you might get.

I like the food very much. I order here almost weekly. A few times the soup tasted a bit watered down, but it now tastes good again. The delivery people are mostly nice. However, some can't even bring themselves to say "hello" or "goodbye". I don't know if there are personal reasons for this. In any case, as I said, the food is very tasty.

A very clean and nice resturant. The new owners have turned it into a very nice shop that is very cozy and at the same time fills the shop with a relaxed atmosphere. The food there tastes excellent and there is a variety of choices with something for everyone. The staff are very friendly and the service is very good. They also offer a delivery service that will bring your food to your home if you get hungry for the Sushi Yana from Tegel. ☺️

Eating = immediate stomach ache. There were small white particles on the food, that's what I call it. It's about a Chinese noodle with crispy duck. I started with the duck and after less than 2 minutes I got a stomach ache. I don't know if it was me, but it's very unlikely because I ordered so often from Sushi yana (Lichtenrade) and it always tasted good, but here... Unfortunately, this shop doesn't live up to Sushi Yana's good reputation. Delivery arrived COLD 1:40 hours late. Drink was not delivered at all or, as is often the case, stolen from the supplier. It's a shame because people are used to much better from Sushi Yana

Today we ordered the bowls for the first time and are just as excited about them as we were about the sushi. As always, everything is super fresh, tasty and plentiful. We love the sushi anyway because there are always enough dips, sauces and ginger with it. But the bowls, which you can put together yourself, are also great. Lieferzwit was exactly as stated on Lieferando. We would be happy to order again!

Absolutely not recommended! Unfriendly, the sushi is poorly rolled, too much rice or falls apart. Wasabi and ginger were missing. It took more than one call and over 30 minutes for it to arrive. The food was already cold. When I asked, I was offered a 10% discount on my next order. Thankfully declined - I will never order here again. Not recommended!

We have been ordering from Sushi Jana for years. You can only support a restaurant that sells Helal. Unfortunately we are no longer satisfied. Every order we have made over the last few months has been very disappointing. The food came late every time, not just 10-30 minutes later. I had to wait 1 hour and 40 minutes for my order today (we live 10 minutes from the store.) and it was only lukewarm. After the long wait, I was hoping that the additional information about the food had been taken into account, but that wasn't the case either. When I ordered, I noted that two dishes should be made without vegetables (that always worked back then), but this was ignored. Everything came as usual and after 1:40 hour I was allowed to separate the pasta from the vegetables. This time at least everything I ordered was delivered - it was different the previous times - things were always missing that I had paid for (sometimes they were delivered later after calling the branch. It took 1 hour). That was our last order from Sushi Jana. We'd rather go somewhere else to eat.

It looks like I'm not the only one who had the same problem with loading. See below. This is the second time I've had to deal with this. You order, the food is delivered in 50 minutes (3km journey), several dishes are missing (this time 2 out of 5 dishes), you call and find out that a new delivery will be made. After an hour, still no delivery, you call again and say the delivery is on the way. 2 hours after confirming that you will receive a subsequent delivery, no one answers the phone anymore. I wonder how hard you have to try to forget almost half of an order.

I had a bad experience today. The food delivered was not good and they did not deliver the drink I ordered. The worst is that they did not refund me for the drink. I used to buy in this place but I will not do it anymore. They are dishonest and bad quality food as well.

I've never been there, but I've ordered several times. The food itself is always really good - but no matter when I order, it always takes forever!! On a weekday without traffic or special events you wait over 1.5 hours - I get annoyed every time! It doesn't make any difference whether I order directly there or via various delivery services. It's just annoying!

It's easy to become wary of all the reviews, but I've ordered my dinner sushi here several times after work. Even in the office at work, Sushi Yana was often among our orders, albeit a few. It was always delicious and fresh, never forgotten anything. At home the food arrived - of course also due to the proximity of 1-2 kilometers, always in about 30 minutes. There were often “above average” waiting times in the office at lunchtime. There may be bottlenecks due to high orders. Which speaks more for Sushi Yana Tegel. All in all, I can recommend the sushi and the food there with a clear conscience. If you calculate that, in the worst case scenario, eating at lunchtime and in the afternoon can take 60-120 minutes and you remain patient, the waiting time is half as crazy.
