Sushi Yana Neukölln in Berlin

I have rarely eaten such bad food and never had a more rude woman on the phone, cheeky and insulting... the talk is old and rotten... salmonella are thriving.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I'm very disappointed with my order from Sushiyana. The food didn't look anything like the photos – the portions were significantly smaller, the dish arrived cold, and was unfortunately barely edible. For the price, I really expected better quality and freshness. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

We ordered at 9 p.m. and waited until 11 p.m. for the food. It was a very small order, and when we called at 10 p.m., we were told the food would arrive in 5 minutes. A meal can't take 2 hours, and the drive was only 10 minutes.

I ordered via Wolt, they ended the he chat with me, the sushi was bad, no mio or chili

I'm now a regular; the food tastes great. I usually order in, so I don't have much experience with the staff, but the one time I was there, the staff member was incredibly nice, and the food arrived quickly :)

I order here regularly – the food is always delicious and arrives warm. Delivery is fast, and the drivers are super friendly. If a small mistake occurs, it's corrected immediately and in a friendly manner – truly top-notch service! I was a regular client and was used to ordering there on Uber Eats and Wolt. Yesterday I ordered my favorite dish and the quality was very bad. The salmon and the rice were very old and had a weird texture. I couldn't eat it. I contacted Wolt and the restaurant didn’t give me a refund. I'm sad because l had good experiences in this restaurant before and I was a l regular client. Now I won't order there anymore.

I received an €8 voucher in the mail. It was supposed to be valid until January 31, 2026. However, it doesn't work on the website or the app. After calling, I was referred to customer service. Sushi Yana's head office also simply hung up.

Dear Sir or Madam, My concern concerns the Sushi Yana branch at Flughafenstraße 76, 12049 Berlin (Neukölln). I order there regularly, usually at least twice a week, and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, however, I noticed that both the quality of the food and the execution of my orders have declined over the last two or three times. For example, I specifically requested no vegetables for the Red Curry menu, but it still came with vegetables. Furthermore, I wanted to pay with an EC card for my last order because I didn't have enough cash on me – but they still only accepted cash. Unfortunately, the taste of the dishes is no longer up to par. I sincerely hope that these are only temporary issues and that orders and the quality of the food will soon return to their usual standard. Thank you for your understanding. I would appreciate any feedback.

Unfortunately, the food isn't good. I've ordered from there several times. From sushi to bowls, rice to duck, it's simply not tasty. It's a shame about the food that's wasted like this.

The atmosphere was top-notch. Everything else was unfortunately not good at all. I unfortunately received two of the three items in my order that were wrong. I'll add a photo of my duck with red curry. Absolutely inedible. The duck was raw. The breading was white instead of brown and crispy. A huge disappointment. Don't be surprised. I ate the rice from the dish so the entire €50 wouldn't go to waste.

Apparently Google or the delivery service does not want to leave negative reviews that prevent future customers from making mistakes, so I am not writing anything negative, you can imagine the rest

The noodles were okay this time. The sushi was delicious as always, but the glass noodle salad was really disgusting. I know it's food, but it was bad.

I ordered sushi and summer rolls from them and I have to complain. The tuna nigiri were so hard; the fish was extremely tough and inedible. Also, the spring rolls were inedible; they were so soft and looked completely expired. Here's a picture that's absolutely unacceptable.

I specifically wrote in the comments that I only wanted cocktail sauce, but they only sent me one cocktail sauce and five other sauces. When I called, the employee said I'd have to pay extra if I wanted more cocktail sauce. I said why? I just wanted cocktail sauce instead of the other sauces, like I always order. No apology, nothing, very rude. Never again, there are plenty of other places.

We ordered sushi to take home. We didn't have to wait half an hour, and the salmon was very fresh and delicious! By the way, the driver appreciates a tip even when paying online 😉.

I honestly don't understand the good reviews. The soup was way too sweet, the tofu in it was like cardboard, the sushi (even the ginger) was completely dry, and the fish tasted like nothing. The restroom was also dirty, and the floor was completely wet. But at least the service was super friendly.

What kind of "service" was that? The store was empty, but I had to do everything myself. I had to ask for a menu. My order wasn't taken. I had to get up and go to the waiter. Things were missing, and I had to get up again. Back and forth five times, as if I were the waiter. Simply embarrassing.

I have ordered from there three times and with each order we had to wait over an hour for the food to arrive and each time it was cold and inedible. This was the third and last time.

Never experienced such a trashy shop...my best friend and I ordered sushi over two hours ago and nothing has arrived yet...after calling we were told it had been delivered and someone had been handed the phone to someone at the front door...end of story, we didn't get any food, nor an apology or money back, we were only told on the phone that there was nothing we could do and the call was hung up.

I have ordered poke with fried chicken many times and the sauce is spectacular, the mix of ingredients is excellent and the quality of the products is very good. I will continue to order this poke every time I'm in Berlin. Advise.

Edit: the store tried to have my review (which had no content apart from the two stars) deleted because of "defamation". I then proved to Google that I had really ordered here. Not a good sign. I am correcting my rating from 2 to one star and recommend not trusting the rating as many negative reviews have probably been deleted.

Institution. Sushi is always great, delivery too. Prices reasonable. If you order directly via the website, there are often nice vouchers (€8 for orders of €20 or more today), so it's worth it. Based on experience with other suppliers, I can still say that you shouldn't order somewhere else because of 1 or 2€, you'd rather have it on time and fresh, especially with sushi ;) So good people, hence good criticism

No, it's not just that I like the food there! It's also the people who draw my friends and me there. The heroes in the kitchen are so motivated and work damn hard... (you have insight), the girls are so patient with the customers and are always polite and respectful! And the boss is often in the store and always has a smile on his face. Thanks to the whole Yana team! You are great! ❤️

Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Food used to be better. Instead they just became more expensive. Noodles with vegetables are basically noodles with a couple of carrot stripes and 5 pieces of spring onion. That shouldn’t be allowed to call noodles with vegetables.

I have been to many "Sushi Yanaha" but this is now my favorite place of all, the staff is very friendly and kind, cook very good, ordered fried rice with chicken, a friend took fried sushi, portions are large, and prices are quite low. I would also like to add about cleanliness, very tidy, nice to sit. I will come back here again ! the receptionist girl is gold

I ordered a dish here today. I order this dish regularly at another branch and have always been satisfied. Today I was visiting Neukölln and ordered the same dish - unfortunately a bitter disappointment. The bowl was about 50% smaller than usual, the vegetables were burnt, and on top of that I had to pay even more than usual. You get the feeling that this branch is saving and skimping on every corner - at the expense of quality and customer satisfaction. Absolutely unacceptable - there shouldn't be such a difference in quality within a chain!

Ordered sushi menu + beef chop suey: sushi lukewarm and of a strange taste… left standing. Chip Suey: A handful of vegetables + beef drowned in a tasteless brown mess. No recommendation.

Ordered sushi yesterday. All three of us had some severe stomach problems later in the evening. It's definitely not always the case, but it still wasn't nice.

Ordered 2 sushi menus, received the wrong menus. (delivery time 45 min) Called and asked us to take a photo of the wrong menus with a receipt and send the picture - taken - then we were told the correct menus should be delivered and we should give the wrong menus back to the driver. Another 45 minutes later I ask the driver what he wants to do with the old, incorrect menus. He calls his boss, I talk to the boss, he tells me he still wants to sell them... I tell him you have to throw them away, maybe I touched them or spit on them or something, he doesn't know me... Apart from that: Fish is a fresh hygiene product and quickly becomes harmful to health; was driven through the city, stood around with me, was taken away again and then sold to someone else - TOP Maybe your food was already with another customer and he touched it first or something like that. Lost customers for years!

I ordered food an hour ago and it just wasn't good... raw vegetable pieces, a roasted duck with no taste, GYOZA with chicken: No, they came vegetarian! A big portion! And all without sauce!

When I’m alone, I always order the fried roll, 6*chicken, 6*salmon, 6*prawn, to take away. I really like the sauce that comes with. The rice is chewy, like Japanese style. I like this set.

We ordered via Uber Eats: After an hour the (Uber) driver called, it turned out that he went to the wrong address, they (allegedly) gave him the wrong address. He urged us to send him the correct address via WhatsApp, which we ended up doing so we could get our food. After making several phone calls, he said he had other customers he needed to deliver to and he would be there in 20 minutes. After half an hour we called and we were pushed away, after a while the message that the order had been canceled. We called the restaurant saying we had been waiting for our order for 2 hours. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, they tried to shift the blame onto the driver by saying they had given him the correct address. He returned the order and was sent off again by another driver. It's a shame that they didn't let you know again, instead you have to make a phone call afterwards. The driver was supposed to be there in 7-10 minutes, he was only there after 20 minutes. I also had to ask whether the food had at least been warmed up again. You even had to ask your colleague about that?!? Had the feeling of ZERO customer service...which I find very unfortunate. The food was cold and so-so. But we won't be ordering there again... In the end we just felt lied to. We don't care what the problem was, but the customer shouldn't have to iron out the mistakes themselves for cold food.

The food was really old, the carrots were black, it was ice cold when I bit into an ice cream for you. I called and no one answered. I would like to have my money refunded.

Was there for the first time yesterday and ate Asian (rice with crispy chicken) again after more than 10 years. It was an absolute taste experience. Definitely coming by more often. Food arrived quickly, although the price is a bit high but the abundance does justice to it. Ambience very warm and wintry. I really liked it.

I ordered a bowl and found an entire tissue in the middle of it. I've never experienced anything like that. I've completely lost my appetite. The food is now in the trash and there will be no further orders. The money was refunded to me but a small apology in the form of a voucher or something else was rejected.

My visit to Sushi Yana was the last 4 times unfortunately anything but satisfactory. The chicken wasn't cooked through and the crispy chicken tasted like rubber!! This was simply disgusting and completely ruined my appetite. I often order from Sushi yana but 4 chances are enough..

The chicken tastes totally like dishwashing liquid and the noodles are dry. But the spring rolls are the icing on the cake...they taste like fish and are barely filled. They taste more like rolls from the supermarket cooler...what a shame

If you bring fewer things than you ordered and paid for, then when you contact them you will simply be hung up on. Never again

I bought Susi, they put mayonnaise in the package there was no soy, wasabi, ingver. I bought a plate of fried duck with peanuts, there were no peanuts and spoiled mushrooms in it.

We ordered here almost every week. Today the chicken when ordered was bad. The meat was dark and tough. We called to complain, but the rude employee on the phone didn't believe us and wanted us to dig the sushi out of the trash. I think the lady needs training on how to deal with customers.

You can always rely on Sushi Yana! Always tasty, hot and fast delivery. After two orders from other providers were canceled that same evening, I finally got something to eat here.

Super tasty, in contrast to the other Sushi Yana branches. The employees have always been friendly and patient. Extra wished no problem, it is always beautifully presented. The only negative is the heat and stuffy air in the store itself.

I ordered on June 30th and didn't receive my order. Both on the day of the order and on the following days, my concerns were not taken seriously on the phone. Each time I was told that my concerns would be forwarded to the “boss”, but I never received any feedback. I literally had to chase my money. A repayment has not yet been made. Never again.

The bowls are amazing, the starters and sushi menus are delicious and so freshly prepared. I just didn't like the curry dishes and the fried noodles.
