An authentic, warmly run Japanese restaurant with excellent quality! The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are lovingly prepared, and the taste is simply outstanding. Among the Asian restaurants in Koblenz, this is clearly the number one for me—and even more so for Japanese food!

I was there for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food!😍 The ramen tasted really good and the portion was very filling, which you wouldn't think at first glance! In addition, the boss personally came to the table when I was collecting and was really friendly, which I find very attentive and nice!☺️ I would definitely come back!

We waited ~45 minutes until we got what we ordered, including an appetizer. Taste is ok for sushi, but definitely don’t worth the money we paid, the portion is so small that two orders only amount to what we usually got as one order from other restaurants, every single sushi is also very tiny. We don’t have super big problems as long as food is good/worthwhile, but this one for sure is not.

The ramen soups are all great. My recommendation: Miso Ramen. Super delicious! However, the amount of soup is not enough for me. The bowl is very small. So always order plenty of side dishes to fill you up. They also taste really good.

My wife and I visited the restaurant with high expectations. The ambience is really not what you expect. The floor wasn't clean and neither were the toilets. The service staff was probably new. The owner made announcements to the service from the beginning, unfortunately in front of us and loudly. That was very annoying. The starter tasted really good and was fresh. The main course was delicious considering the setting. The sushi went back to the kitchen (reason a hair). Afterwards we left the restaurant. We won't eat there again and don't recommend it.

We had wakame salad as a starter and two different nori sushi. Incredibly delicious and you can taste that the sushi is freshly prepared with every order. The sushi rice was excellent. The best sushi so far. The ramen soup and the Japanese curry were also great. The service was very courteous and friendly. We'll be back. For us the best sushi and ramen shop in Koblenz.

The food was very tasty, especially the teriyaki tofu don. However, the portions were very small, I would say about a third of a normal portion. But it was also expensive. Price-performance is therefore quite weak. And the drinks were really extremely expensive.

My rice with chicken and vegetables was the size of an appetizer and tasted nothing special. Not understandable for €15. Ambience also very dilapidated. We won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, my visit to Sushi and Ramen Pirates was a bit disappointing. I once had the miso ramen with 4 toppings, in conclusion I can say that it was good in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the price performance wasn't quite right, €15 for a smaller portion of ramen is already expensive, but the lack of pork was very disappointing, offering it as an extra topping and then only offering two pieces (around €2 in size). I was very surprised. What really needs improvement was the waiting time. I ordered at 5:35 p.m. and received my food at 6:50 p.m., and the store wasn't fully occupied. Conclusion: If you want delicious food quickly and cheaply, then unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant, but if you live nearby and are willing to wait a long time, you can consider it. So eine kleine Portion nur 9 Stück und noch kleiner kostet 20€ Das hat mich schockiert Ramen Nudeln war auch nicht durch gekocht und war sehr sehr wenig kostet ca 15€ Das war erste und letzte Mal Die Bewertung ist falsch 😑 Spare eure 💴 💰 Geld

No authentic broth, subterranean service. Even the spoon was forgotten when the ramen was served and people responded rudely when asked. The egg came ready from the fridge and was still cold when served.

The food tastes good. We reserved a table for 4 people in advance. It took almost an hour for the starters to be served. The 4 ramen soups came almost 45 minutes later. We were very pleased because of the many positive reviews and personal recommendations. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met at all and we will not be visiting again. The food is good, the price is a bit higher. Drink prices are very high. 05 l soft drink €6.20. Too bad

Curry portion too small for the price, size of the tonkatsu portion outrageous for the price. The waiting time was also very long. A positive note is that the green tea is refilled several times at no extra charge. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

We ate at Pirates for the first time today and immediately became fans. We had sushi and ramen, both of which were very tasty and attractively presented. The pork broth in my ramen was delicious and a taste experience for me. The service was very nice and at the end, when we were paying, the boss even came personally to ask us about our impression. We'd love to come back!

The food is really very good! I had the Tonkotsu Ramen, which tastes comparable to very good ramen from Japan. Unfortunately the egg was cold, which I didn't expect, but that was the only drawback. The broth was milky and gentle and was also good enough for a second portion of noodles. You can tell that the owner is from Japan as he embodies the extremely friendly Japanese hospitality. The ambience is not the best. Few Japanese elements and kept quite simple. When visiting, the focus should be on the food. Even if the music (classical German) doesn't fit in a Japanese restaurant, it suits the owner even more. He was apparently asked about it today by Japanese people (when it was almost empty) and then sang one of the songs. I was amazed at how well he could sing. A singer was lost to him! If you're interested in hearing it for yourself, just ask him about it.

Very nice boss with great service. From the starters to the main course to the dessert, it was super delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Ein kleines und gemütliches japanisches Restaurant in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhof Koblenz wo Sushi wird immer frisch zubereitet. Der Chef ist sehr freundlich und enthusiastisch. Ich hatte dort eine sehr schöne Zeit. Ein Tipp: Wenn du einen Tisch reservieren, solltest du im Voraus bestellen, um Wartezeiten zu sparen.

Ordered sushi and fried chicken for pickup today. Sushi shown in the picture is Philadelphia roll and fried shrimp roll. Absolute recommendation!

Ausgesprochen schönes Restaurant. Sehr netter Koch und schneller Service. Immer wenn ich in der Gegend bin besuche ich das Sushi und Ramen Restaurant Pirates und bin jedes Mal von der Qualität vom Essen beeindruckt. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und ganz nach japanischer Art gekocht und serviert. Kleiner Geheimtipp : das Sushi ist (meiner Meinung nach) das beste in der ganzen Stadt , vor allem die frittierte Garnelen Rolle muss man probiert haben. Leckerster Japaner in Koblenz! Mehr als nur ein Besuch wert.

After a tiring convention, we wanted to go out for a delicious Asian meal and after a quick look at Maps we decided on Sushi & Ramen Pirates. The route was easy to walk from the main train station. We got a seat straight away and quickly found what we were looking for on the clear map. We had to wait a bit for the food, but there were also a few other visitors there and good Japanese food takes time. The katsu don and the teriyaki tofu don tasted super aromatic. We could have easily eaten another portion. When paying, it was a nice surprise to be able to speak briefly with the chef in person. In terms of the ambience, I had more of an old German restaurant vibe, but that didn't detract from the experience. We definitely fell into bed happy and well-fed.

Amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. Not only was the Ramen ordered fantastic,but the sushi as well. I can really recommend this Restaurant with good conscience. Preordering meals is also recommended.

The three of us went for ramen. We waited over 1.5 hours for the food and then received undercooked noodles, with cold egg and tofu. We commented that the noodles didn't taste good and weren't cooked through, so the waitress told us we should go to the other, newly opened restaurant next time, because there wasn't as much going on and they had time to do it right. The bill contained too many items, nothing was waived for us and we were again told to try the other restaurant. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the good reviews. The overall package was terribly bad.

Today we ate at Pirates 2 in Lützel. A true gem just a stone's throw from the city center. Ramen and donburi were sensational. And the gyozas are equally amazing. We will come back soon.

By far the best and only authentic Japanese sushi, ramen, curry, etc. in the Koblenz area. Karaage and Katsudon also highly recommended. The owner and chef is a super friendly guy who likes to come to the guests and introduce himself and ask about the guests' well-being. The service is simply sensational and typically Japanese style. Every visit reminds me of my long time in Japan, which I otherwise only know from restaurants in the Japanese quarter of Düsseldorf. A real culinary experience and enrichment for Koblenz. The food is very tasty, the service is very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere seems a bit uncomfortable. We'll still come back, even if all the dishes are quite expensive. It's definitely worth it.

Wir hatten seit einigen Tagen irgendwie super Lust Ramen zu essen, waren uns aber gar nicht sicher, ob wir dafür nicht eventuell sogar nach Bonn oder Frankfurt müssten, umso freudig überraschter waren wir, dass Google Maps uns dieses Restaurant hier in Koblenz anzeigte. Unsere Reservierungsmail wurde schon auf die bekannt höfliche Weise beantwortet und wir hatten einen sehr sehr leckeren schönen Abend mit ausgesprochen höflichem und freundlichem Service! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und werden auch gern Besuch mitbringen, wenn wir welchen haben. 美味しいお料理をありがとうございました！

Wurde zum Geburtstag in diesen Laden eingeladen. Hat eine ziemliche Kneipen Atmosphäre, warum das so ist ? Fragen Sie bitte nicht mich. Kommen wir zum Essen, die Portionen Größe sind dem Preis jedenfalls nicht gerechtfertigt, der Geschmack jedoch schon. Wir haben auch eine 1 Stunde fast auf das Essen gewartet, trotz Vorbestellung und Reservierung und der Laden war nicht mal voll. Da ist noch Luft nach oben. Jedoch ein freundlicher Inhaber!

Sehr einfach eingerichtet aber hier geht es und wesentliche. Sehr gutes Essen und sehr guter Service. Wirklich jedes Gericht war on Point. Einfach Perfekt. Hier erwarte Sie Japanische Küche , sowie Japanische Höflichkeit. Ich komme nicht aus Koblenz aber alleine hierfür werde ich wieder kommen. TT

Sehr freundlicher Service, essen war ausgezeichnet, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungverhältnis, nur wenige japanische Deko. Wenn man in Koblenz ist und hunger hat kann man sehr gut dorthin gehen.

Super lecker und mega nettes Personal

Nettes Personal, leider hat mich das Tofu Curry überhaupt nicht begeistert. Weder von den Zutaten, noch von der Menge. Warten mussten wir auch zu lange. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier leider nicht.

Wollte schon ewig mal anhalten und dort essen, ist leider bis jetzt immer an den Öffnungszeiten gescheitert. Täglich erst ab 1700. Ambiente sehr nüchtern, es kommt überhaupt kein Gefühl von Gemütlichkeit auf. Service und Freundlichkeit hervorragend. Leider fand ich das servierte Essen nicht mal Mittel. Die Gyozas waren geschmacklich ganz toll, ich kenne sie allerdings deutlich krosser gebraten und nicht nur einseitig kurz in die Pfanne. Die 2 probierten Ramensuppen leider nicht ansatzweise ein Highlight und auf meiner Skala höchstens 1-2 von 5 . Kenne Ramensuppen aus Japan (25 Jahre lang im Mittel jeden Monat dort) dort sind sie deutlich geschmackvoller. Vielleicht gebe ich den Pirates nochmal eine Chance mit Sushi...

Sehr leckeres Essen, würde behaupten auch sehr authentisch. Am Ambiente könnte man etwas mehr rausholen, aber ist auch nicht schlimm. Service und Koch sehr nett. Komme auf jeden Fall nochmal zum Essen. Bezahlung nur mit Bargeld, nur als kleine Info ;)

Heute zum ersten mal dort gewesen, aber garantiert nicht zum letzten mal! Das Essen war super und der Service war fantastisch! Die Dame die uns bedient hat war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einen solch tollen Service habe ich noch nie erlebt! Ich komme garantiert wieder.

Kleines Restaurant mit guten Essensfotos und kleinen Portionen. Auf den Fotos sah die Schüssel mit Nudeln riesig aus, als dann eine kleine Schale kam, dachte ich erst an eine Verwechslung. Wartezeit sehr lange durch wenige Mitarbeiter. Der Kellner musste in der Küche helfen und so dauerte sowohl die Bedienung wie auch die Zubereitung relativ lange. Qualitativ war alles in Ordnung. Der Laden ist ziemlich klein und wohl eher ein Insidertipp für Sushiesser. Kann man machen wenn man in der Nähe ist, muss man aber nicht.

Abholung: Die Bestellung wurde 2 Tage vorher aufgegeben und auch aufgenommen. Bei der Abholung hat nichts gefehlt und das Sushi war optisch und geschmacklich sehr gut. Vor Ort haben wir bislang noch nicht gegessen. Kann man aber gerne weiterempfehlen

Sushi ok, aber nichts Besonderes, Curry mit Reis ebenso. Insgesamt sehr überteuert, Ambiente eher wie im Imbiss. Bedienung sehr nett. Einen weiteren Besuch würden wir dennoch nicht vornehmen.

Auf Empfehlung haben wir das Lokal besucht um das authentische Gericht Katsu-Don zu essen. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, ebenso wie das Sushi. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Eigentümer hat sich Zeit genommen, um uns einiges zur japanischen Küche zu erklären.

Zum 1. Mal einiges an Sushi und eine Chicken Don abgeholt. Die Bestellung am Vorabend war super; ein sehr netter Und freundlicher Chef. Voller Vorfreude das Essen abgeholt und zu Hause angekommen beim Auspacken aus den Tüten: Enttäuschung! Im Vergleich zu anderen entsprechende Lokalitäten in und um Koblenz ein für rund 72 € qualitativ und vor allem quantitativ kein gutes Sushi. Auch das Chicken Don für 12 € war sehr, wirklich sehr klein. Zum Sushi kaum Wasabi und noch weniger Ingwer. Dazu sehr trockener frittierter Thunfisch, fast schon hart. Alles in Allem für uns eine reine Enttäuschung. Die zahlreichen durchweg positiven Bewertungen lassen vielleicht darauf schließen, dass wir heute wohl Pech hatten, würden jedoch dort kein Sushi mehr bestellen. Schade!
