Königsbacher Treff in Koblenz

Today, a small group of us went out for a drink after our seminar. We wanted to try some regional beer and happened to pass by this bar at 7:30 p.m. The place still had capacity for us. The waitress started asking us what we wanted, and we only ordered drinks. You could clearly see from his face that he was "NOT" happy. The same was true of this waitress when we paid, as he had to bill each guest. My conclusion from this visit: even though we only had drinks, guests could be treated with a little more respect. I will certainly not visit this bar again for this reason.

A clear recommendation. The food, service and prices are very good. Both the lunch menu and the evening meal are good. When the weather is good you can sit in front of the restaurant and watch the hustle and bustle at the train station. The Königsbacher tastes great!

I have been to this restaurant several times and have to share my experiences. Great location of this restaurant near the train station. The restaurant staff is very friendly and the most amazing thing is the restaurant manager who welcomes guests, kindly advises you on your choices and also has a nice chat with you. A rarity these days! The food was always wonderfully prepared, seasoned and the portions were also huge. The price/performance ratio is at a high level. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone. I will definitely visit this restaurant again on my next visit to Koblenz.

The attentive service is particularly noteworthy: all employees are friendly, courteous and immediately put you in a good mood. The absolute highlight, however, is the landlord Norbert himself, who provides unforgettable entertainment with his humor and hospitality. I have rarely laughed so much while visiting a restaurant! One of his best anecdotes was about a Mercedes salesman David who actually wanted to “borrow” his attractive wife for an evening gala. So if you don't just want to eat tasty food, but also want to have an all-round happy time, the Königsbacher Treff is the right place for you. I can't wait to visit again soon!

Die gutbürgerliche Küche begeistert mit leckeren Gerichten und üppigen Portionen, während das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis angenehm fair bleibt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der aufmerksame Service: Alle Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich, zuvorkommend und verbreiten sofort gute Laune. Das absolute Highlight bildet jedoch der Wirt Norbert selbst, der mit seinem Humor und seiner Gastfreundschaft für unvergessliche Unterhaltung sorgt. Selten habe ich bei einem Restaurantbesuch so viel gelacht! Eine seiner besten Anekdoten handelte von einem Mercedes-Verkäufer David, der seine attraktive Ehefrau tatsächlich für eine abendliche Gala „ausleihen“ wollte. Wer also nicht nur schmackhaft essen, sondern dabei auch eine rundum fröhliche Zeit verbringen möchte, ist im Königsbacher Treff genau richtig. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, bald wieder vorbeizuschauen!

We always enjoy coming to the Königsbacher Treff for dinner. We particularly liked the tomato soup as a starter. But the vegetable chicken pan and the tavern grill plate are also highly recommended.

Wir waren schon öfters hier. Tolles Essen, freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Bier vom Fass. Was will man mehr? Auch der Hund darf mit rein.

Last weekend we reserved a table for four people in the lively meeting place. In the location, which invites you to socialize, we were personally welcomed by the man of the house and were well looked after throughout the evening by the friendly crew. Service with a large number of people seems quite overwhelmed. I had wild goulash. Unfortunately the meat was far too soft, the spaetzle could have used a little more salt and the red cabbage was not edible. The boss didn't really accept any negative criticism about it. She reacted very indignantly and became somewhat unfriendly in her tone. Criticism is probably not welcome there. I wouldn't go there anymore. We waited forever until we could order, whether it was drinks or food.

We have been here several times before, this time we were very dissatisfied. The food was really tasty, but the staff was really cheeky. We had a table for 7:30 p.m. which was confirmed again, we were then called shortly after 7 p.m. where we were staying and were told that the table would be canceled straight away. The waitress was super unfriendly and always rolled her eyes.

Highly recommended!! Very friendly service. I had spaetzle with cheese and fried onions and they were very good. The price-performance ratio is great, the food came quickly without long waiting times. When the weather is nice you can even sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Parking is available nearby with a parking ticket. The main train station is just a short walk away. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. Date of visit: October 2024

The service was subpar. We had to make ourselves noticed several times, but people still just walked past us. Overall, you wait a long time until you get registered. I was negatively surprised by the selection of vegetarian dishes. In 2024, virtually everything will be served with bacon or ham. The baked potatoes we ordered were completely overcooked and tasteless, the sour cream was slapped onto the potato without any seasoning, and the "beautiful" salad bouquet was just carelessly thrown onto the plate with a little dressing. For that, €13.50 is more than cheeky, with a cost of goods of around €1. Once and never again, even if the operators seemed very friendly. Luckily Mecces is practically opposite...I'm hungry.

An absolute must for Koblenz visitors. Delicious food, friendly staff and a real pub atmosphere. But be careful, it's usually very crowded. Pre-order advisable.

Great service, a nice boss and very good food

Normaal laat ik geen beoordeling achter doch voor deze maak ik een uitzondering. De persoonlijke begroeting van de zaakvoerder en het authentieke aan de zaak is zeer charmant. Zelfs als je een bril vergeet komt hij met een hele doos om toch ervoor te zorgen dat je de menu kan bekijken. De zaak zit vol locals dus reserveren op voorhand is een must. Ook op een doordeweekse dag! Eten was lekker en wachttijden waren best ok gezien de drukte. Personeel probeert de vriendelijkheid van de zaakvoerder ook verder over te dragen wat leuk is om te zien. Hier moet je echt geweest zijn als je Koblenz bezoekt. Betaalbaar - lekker - charmant en authentiek. Laat de stationsbuurt je niet afschrikken want ook laat op de avond is het een veilige omgeving.. Doen zou ik zeggen !

Everything just fits here. Pleasant atmosphere, very personable and friendly SERVICE, large selection of delicious and home-style dishes, very fair prices. If you don't know it, just go there. Definitely an insider tip for people who like to eat well!

We (2 people) stayed on 10/15/24 in the “Königsbacher Treff” Koblenz. About service: Ordered 2 x “Treff Pfanne”. Good portion. We both asked for it to take the leftover food with you. The leftover food was then brought to us. So far so good. On the invoice was then twice an amount of €1 for taking away/packaging of the remaining food! What is the amount for? - For repackaging from the plate in the box/can!? - From the purchase price of the vessel Not to mention wholesale!? About ambience: In front of the doors to the Toilets (women AND men) There are extremely close tables/chairs for the guests. An access to the toilets is only possible with difficulty. And who wants to sit so close to the entrance to the toilets? We are multiple visitors this location. This new experience of the additional payment amount is shameful / frightening! Disabled access to the toilets is from experience a permanent permanent state!

A pub very close to the station, very welcoming. The owner is very kind and nice to everyone. I ate a standard German dish, and they served me a soup with a small sandwich as an appetizer. Average account. Approved!

Gute Speisegaststätte mit schönem Thekenbetrieb. Die Atmosphäre und der Service waren freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen (gebratener Fisch und Nudeln) war sehr gut. War bisher immer zum Essen hier, aber ein guter Kneipenabend ist hier sicher auch drin. Es gibt, wie es der Name sagt, leckeres Königsbacher vom Fass und diverse andere Biere wie Gaffel und Benediktiner. Preise sind fair.

The Königsbacher Treff was a nice place for an after-work beer or wheat at least twice a week. As of this week we will be looking for a new location, because increasing the wheat beer from 4.90 to 5.60 is an outrage and we won't pay any more. At some point the fun stops, unfortunately!

Very unfriendly service - when asked, the answer was extremely annoyed and moody: “Everyone here knows that”. It's just stupid that I'm not from Koblenz and actually just wanted to take a leisurely stop until the next train comes.

There are about 120 km between me and the Königsbacher Treff, but whenever I'm in Koblenz and think about what I would like, this restaurant comes to mind... And why? Because the quality of the food has been prepared and served at the same, reliably high level for years. On the one hand, you have to want that, but you also have to be able to represent it. It works great here! And when you are recognized and greeted with a handshake (yes, luckily that's possible again!), you feel welcome and valued! On Sunday evening the outdoor area was well attended and we were lucky enough to get a table. We ordered Rösti from the current chanterelle menu with a very tasty cream sauce, with a side salad and a chef's salad... Both very good! Sat at a table for 20 minutes. My husband had to get us menus and then we sat there watching them talk to every other table but ours. Don’t go here if you can’t speak German, they will ignore you. We had to walk out and find somewhere else to eat.

The service at our table was really bad today. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food, which was really very good. It can happen sometimes. Unfortunately, during the entire two hours we spent there, we were only able to consume one drink; unfortunately, the other drinks never reached us. Very unfortunate..

You can forget something sometimes, but this? I ordered a schnitzel. After it wasn't there after half an hour, I asked to have it packed up. Another fifteen minutes later I found out that they had forgotten to order it at all. Impossible is no word for such chaos!

As always, very tasty food, good home cooking. The staff is friendly and quick. My dad had his 85th today. The innkeeper found out about this from the service conversation and spontaneously offered a birthday serenade complete with ice cream and a sparkler. Great service and effort. Where are you still personally greeted with a handshake by the boss... where is the price and performance still right... where are you still served in a friendly and quick manner? In the “Königsbacher Treff” of course! The food was very good and plentiful. Last but not least, I was surprised with a birthday sundae. That was the crowning achievement.
