Eine Abzocke sonder gleiche, es hat uns gewundert dass nirgendwo Preise im Internet zu sehen waren, als wir im Restaurant waren, da war alles Klar👎 Das Essen ist gleich einer Kantine, leider nicht zu lecker! 28,-€ für 4 kleine Hühnchenstücke dazu Pommes mit viel Öl und etwas undefinierte Soße! Kein Beilagensalat 0,2 l Wein 11,-€ Inflation auf hohen Niveau.

Stylish ambience. Staff polite. Toilets classy and impeccably clean. Unfortunately the food was great but also expensive. Therefore 4 stars from me. Food, service, ambience 5 stars We were there with a group of 9 people. Food came out at the same time for everyone. Top!

The sheep's cheese mouse as a starter was delicious, but unfortunately the gyros and calamari were not. The side dishes were also not edible, the fries were already cold and the rice was still hard. For €70 we would have expected better quality, a shame. The service was ok.

I have been a guest at this restaurant for over 30 years. Some things have changed, such as saving the coleslaw for the main course. and of course the prices. These are already enormous. Nevertheless, I have always enjoyed it there so far. the quality was always perfect. In addition to the prices, there is an important drawback: Please don't give out this dry bread with the delicious dishes. especially not when you could also serve pita bread. This bread tastes like it was made the day before. I don't understand why you can't figure it out yourself. The pita bread tastes fantastic, is Greek and would go much better with the good food. just like an idea :-)

Unfortunately I can only give one star as we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. When it finally arrived, the gyro was still partially raw. When we pointed it out, the waitress just said "sorry" and that was it. That shouldn't be the case!

We had dinner at this restaurant with six people last night! We waited two hours for our main course! When we inquired about it, we were told that gyros had to be cooked! And we would have had appetizers too! We had four salads that we ordered with the main course and then received as a starter! My friend ordered tzatziki as a starter and she didn't get it at all! Then finally the food comes and my meat isn't cooked through either the small steaks or the gyros! Then I lost my appetite! When I was clearing away I pointed this out to the waitress and only received an “oh sorry!”

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant. The six of us wanted to have a nice evening. Unfortunately we had to wait two hours for our food. When the food finally came, some of the meat was still raw. We didn't even get an apology. In addition, the prices are completely inflated. Our conclusion: simply far too expensive for what was offered!

Very friendly staff and still good food, but the price-performance ratio is not good at all. The prices have clearly exceeded the pain threshold for our families - that's why we won't be coming back. There are several other good Greek restaurants in the region. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ohne Reservierung empfangen zu werden und dennoch einen Platz mit solcher Freundlichkeit und Professionalität zugewiesen zu bekommen, war ein äußerst gelungener Start in den Abend. Im Syrtaki durften wir eine kulinarische Reise durch die griechische Küche erleben, die ihresgleichen sucht. Unsere Speisenfolge begann mit herrlich knusprigen Zucchinipuffern – außen goldbraun, innen einfach wunderbar. Es folgen als Hauptgerichte Moussaka, bei dem sich die Aromen von Auberginen, Hackfleisch und einer samtigen Béchamelsauce perfekt ergänzten, überbackenes Gyros in einer raffiniert abgestimmten Metaxasauce sowie zarte Calamari, die auf dem Kinderteller ebenso hochwertig serviert wurden wie die anderen Gerichte. Der krönende Abschluss war das Galaktoboureko – eine meisterhaft gelungene Symphonie aus knusprigem Blätterteig, samtigem Grießpudding und genau der richtigen Süße. Jeder Bissen war eine Hommage an die griechische Dessertkunst und ließ uns kurz vergessen, dass wir nicht auf einer griechischen Insel am Mittelmeer saßen. Was die Qualität, die handwerkliche Perfektion und die kunstvolle Präsentation betrifft, steht das Syrtaki auf einem beeindruckend hohen Niveau. Jeder Bissen zeugt von Hingabe und einem tiefen Verständnis der griechischen Küche. Für jeden, der sich in Koblenz und Umgebung befindet, ist dieses Restaurant ein Muss. Für uns steht fest: Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Region werden wir dieses Restaurant erneut aufsuchen. Being welcomed without a reservation and yet being assigned a seat with such friendliness and professionalism was an extremely successful start to the evening. At Syrtaki we were able to experience a culinary journey through Greek cuisine that is second to none. Our menu began with wonderfully crispy zucchini fritters – golden brown on the outside, simply wonderful on the inside. The main courses followed were moussaka, in which the flavors of eggplant, minced meat and a velvety béchamel sauce complemented each other perfectly, gratinated gyros in a cleverly balanced Metaxa sauce and delicate calamari, which were served on the children's plate in the same high quality as the other dishes. The crowning finale was the Galaktoboureko – a masterfully accomplished symphony of crispy puff pastry, velvety semolina pudding and just the right amount of sweetness. Each bite was a tribute to Greek dessert art and made us momentarily forget that we weren't sitting on a Greek island on the Mediterranean. When it comes to quality, craftsmanship and artful presentation, the Syrtaki is at an impressively high level. Every bite shows dedication and a deep understanding of Greek cuisine. This restaurant is a must for anyone in Koblenz and the surrounding area. One thing is certain for us: we will visit this restaurant again on our next visit to the region. We spent a great evening in the restaurant. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive. The ambience was nice and inviting, and the food came surprisingly quickly. The only small downer: the prices are a little higher than expected. Overall, however, a very satisfying experience – definitely recommended!

Diesmal war es der 26.12.2024 abends mit Freunden. Wir waren 4 Personen und hatten Ende September einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir um 18:00 Uhr ankamen, waren fast alle Tische belegt. Wir wurden in Empfang genommen und zu unserem Tisch am Ende der zweiten großen Räumlichkeit gebracht. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen griechischen Restaurants, ist das Syrtaki modern und nicht typisch griechisch eingerichtet. Hier hat man einen sehr guten Style gefunden. Wir erhielten umgehend die Speisekarten und konnten auch direkt unsere Getränkebestellung aufgeben, die uns dann auch umgehend gebracht wurde. Wir bestellten zum Essen: - Souvlaki Fileto: Schweinefiletmedaillons am Spieß mit Zwiebeln und Paprika, Tomatenreis und Metaxasauce - Gebratene Calamari mit Remouladensauce und Backkartoffeln (Ofenkartoffeln) - Psaropiatela Sharas (Meeresplatte mit Lachsfilet, Garnelen und Calamari) und Backkartoffeln - Fileto Tiganaki: Schweinefiletmedaillons mit Sahnesauce, Zwiebeln, Champignons, Estragon und Pommes Frites Fazit: Sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr gutes Personal immer aufmerksam. Jede Speise kann je nach Geschmack umbestellt werden (dazu oder etwas Anderes). Besonderes ist die Qualität des Fleisches hervorzuheben. Alle Speisen werden sehr gut zubereitet. Egal mit wie viel Personen man zum Essen kommt, alle bekommen immer gleichzeitig ihre Mahlzeit. Wer sehr gut essen gehen will und etwas besonders haben will, der muss auch bereit sein, dafür dementsprechend zu bezahlen. Die Toiletten sind im sehr guten Zustand. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Umgebung (Hohenzollernstraße oder auch Mainzer Straße). Anmerkung: Seit Sommer 2008 ist das Syrtaki unser Stammrestaurant. Seit dem waren wir mit sehr vielen Verwandten, Freunden und Bekannten, zu Geburtstagen, größeren Familienfeiern und anderen Familienanlässen dort. Im Durchschnitt etwa 10-mal im Jahr gehen wir dort und im Tochterrestaurant dem Ariston in Lahnstein essen. Über alle die Jahre hat sich im Syrtaki nichts geändert. Alle Personen die dort mit uns essen waren, waren begeistert auch nicht Griechenland-Fans.

Nice restaurant, service always attentive and friendly. The food tasted like any Greek's, bread for the 10 euro tzatziki was rock hard, you couldn't eat it. There was no salad with a 28 euro dish, which was unusual. We ended up paying just over 100 euros for two people. That is definitely too expensive for this service and a reason for us to go back to the countryside, where it is ultimately more comfortable because there is no mass processing. It's a shame, but we and the table next to us won't be coming back.

Very disappointing, very loud and dark in the restaurant, romantic is different. Service was overwhelmed despite quite a few employees. Starters were the only plus point! Unfortunately, the lamb platter has no lamb taste, it wasn't fresh from the grill either, it was warmed up. For this hefty €49 it would have to be much better. Other grill platters were grilled very dry, without tzatziki it wouldn't be possible to eat. Dessert was also bland...for the high prices they say, I won't visit again! Still water for 10€!!

klar es war vor Weihnachten, das Lokal übervoll. Haben trotzdem einem Zweiertisch ergattert. Die Ausstattung des Lokales lässt jetzt nicht sofort auf ein griechisches Restaurant schließen. Aber mein größter Kritikpunkt: für die Qualität des Essens völlig überteuert.

Tolles gehobenens griechisches Restaurant mit umfangreicher Karte und sehr guter Qualität der Speisen. Das vorwiegend junge Team kümmerte sich professionell und herzlich um die Gäste. Kurz: Uns hat es wirklich gut gefallen und geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We have just returned from my first visit to Syrtaki. First of all, the biggest criticism of the previous reviews: Opinions differ when it comes to prices!! I swallowed too! But in the end I'm not upset!! All the dishes were excellent, but the meat was so on point!! Particularly noteworthy is the performance of the large, relatively young service team. Despite the estimated 200 guests there was no trace of hecticness. It was confidently conveyed to each guest that he was the most important person in the room. There were practically no waiting times, the food was served to all tables quickly and, above all, at the same time, while the kitchen (at least for us) implemented all requests regarding cooking point first-class. I take my hat off to that. The only downer I have to mention is the ambience. It's too dark for me and I can't handle the large mirror surfaces, but that's subjective. So now I'll save a little and then come back!!

A nice restaurant with friendly staff and the food was really good too. But I have to admit that the prices are really steep. At least I've never paid €23 for gyros or bifteki. You just have to know whether it's worth it. Would still come back.

However, I would really make a reservation in advance, as many others in Koblenz also seem to know how good this Greek restaurant is.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. And I had been to many. Of course, the price is a bit high at first glance. But you have to put the price in relation to the performance and quality. The service is fantastic. My wife and I felt very well looked after. The quality of the food is top class. And the prices are absolutely justified. The amount of meat on the grill plate is more than expected. We'll definitely be back.

An excellent Greek restaurant that is unrivaled in the surrounding area. The food is really delicious and the selection is quite large. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and we immediately felt at home. The staff was very accommodating and, as befits a good Greek restaurant, there was an ouzo at the end. The only thing that isn't great is the outdoor seating, as it's right on a busy street. However, this is due to the location in the city and is therefore not a point of criticism. I can absolutely recommend Syrtaki, a visit is always worth it.

We have been looking for a delicious Greek restaurant in Koblenz for a long time and Syrtaki has been recommended to us several times. So the other day after work we just went there and ordered food to take away. We went in to pick up the food and I have to say, the atmosphere is really cozy!! In addition, every single employee we passed smiled and greeted us in a friendly manner! (Something like that is so important! We felt totally welcome and treated kindly) We had to swallow for a moment when paying for the food, we did get a discount because we picked it up (also not typical and important to praise) but €70 for 2 people (yes, I'm gluttonous and had 2 starters) is pretty steep! When I got home I took a photo of the starter, but the food smelled too good to allow me to take another photo of the main course...! And I have to say: IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! There were a lot of pepperoni and in a delicious lemon garlic marinade, the Taramas was mild but tasty and the Metaxa sauce and all the meat were grilled to perfection, juicy and incredibly tasty! Conclusion: gladly again but only on special occasions 😅 - next time we'll try eating there too ♥️

We were there spontaneously on October 2nd, 2024. At first we thought, wow, prices for a Greek restaurant were already on the higher side, but the food was really worth every cent... great meat quality and skillfully prepared... simply super tasty, the service was really nice and courteous, there is nothing to complain about. Even our dog was given treats and was asked directly if we should bring water. If we lived here, we would definitely be there more often. Highly recommended... therefore 5 stars plus plus 👌🫶 oh and our old dog was very happy about the treat from the restaurant 🐶♥️

Syrtaki is authentic Greek cuisine. The staff is without exception friendly and attentive on every visit. The prices are a bit higher, but correspond to the quality of the food. Always my pleasure!

My wife had an appetizer platter as her main course. For 26 € there were 4 slices of fried zuchini, 4 slices of fried aubergine, a roll of stuffed grape leaves, a tzatziki dip, and white bread. I had gratinated gyros with fries for just under €30. The fries had no salt, the gyro meat was hard, the sauce was totally fatty. The service is very good, but that can no longer hide the fact that the price/performance ratio is no longer right here.

Today we had dinner at the Syrtaki restaurant. The food was okay, but the behavior of the waitress was unacceptable to me. I ordered a red wine that had a temperature of a draft beer. I spoke to the waitress and explained to her that red wine was served at room temperature. They were of very little interest and the food they ordered didn't arrive as requested. I overlooked that, but a 0.2 liter red wine for €11.00, served ice cold, that's not possible! The staff should perhaps be better trained in some areas if drinks and food are offered in this price range. Under these circumstances I will refrain from visiting again.

As expected, this was the friendly Greek restaurant. Very tasty food in a nice atmosphere. But not like many other Greek restaurants that are known for having a lot and being cheap. Definitely come back!

Vi var kommet lidt sent til Koblenz og var sultne efter indtjekning på hotel Trip Inn. Restauranten lå 200 meter derfra, så vi ilede derhen. Vi var blandt de sidste gæster. Vi blev meget venligt modtaget og fik et menu kort. Vi bestilte en forret og en hovedret. Vin bestilte vi pr. glas. Maden kom hurtigt. Den var virkelig veltillavet og smagte dejligt. Vi fik god tid til at spise - selvom vi til sidst var de eneste i restauranten.

Without meaning to, I ate Greek food three times in two weeks. Syrtaki won first place for the most expensive prizes. Lamb plate EURO 49. That's really steep. Food was good, service ok.

We ate there with a few colleagues during our lunch break. What I thought was good was that a midday break was offered, but the prices for lunch menus or for a lunch section were above average. I had gyros with beef, liver and fries. The meat was very tasty, but the plate was manageable. The portions were really very small and for €17 it's really a joke. Unfortunately, 20 had to be ordered separately. And every Greek knows that tzatziki is part of the gyros. The staff was very friendly. Ambiance is of course a matter of taste. Due to the very high prices and the manageable portions, I will no longer visit the restaurant. You should think about the concept.

The food is definitely good in taste. The Djuvec rice was a bit hard, but other than that I can't complain. However, €23 for 1 Bifteki is very, very pricey. I find the price for a farmer's salad (~15€) to be even more sporty, especially since I can definitely make it better at home using discounter ingredients. The gyros meet high quality snack standards, except that at Syrtaki you pay twice as much. Now one could argue that exceptional and attentive service might justify the prices. My friend, who is severely allergic to gluten, asked for the allergy card and emphasized his allergy several times when ordering, was given a basket of white bread with his salad. No punch line. Conclusion: unfortunately no immediate need to repeat! :/
