Restaurant Delphi im Bootshaus in Koblenz

Mit 4 Erwachsenen waren wir am Samstag den 18.01.2025 um 18:30 Uhr dort essen. Wir hatten einen Tisch vorbestellt. Für 18:00 Uhr wurde uns empfohlen nicht zu kommen, erst auf Nachfrage wann denn es besser wäre, bekamen wir die Antwort, für 18:30 Uhr! Das Restaurant teilt sich in vier Bereiche auf. Eingangsbereich mit Theke und Tischen, ein großer Raum, eine komplett überdachte Terrasse und ein Außenbereich vor dem Gebäude. Eigentlich hat man von fast überall einen Blick auf die Mosel. Wir wurden zu unserem Platz im in der Mitte des großen Raum begleitet. Das Restaurant war zu dieser Zeit etwa dreiviertel belegt. Nach etwa 30 Minuten war das Restaurant fast völlig belegt. Wir bekamen unsere Speisekarten und konnten etwas später die Getränkebestellung aufgeben, die wir auch recht zeitnah erhielten. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich. Es wurde die Vorspeise „Verschiedenes“ (Dolmadakia mit Zitronensauce, Tzatziki, Oliven und Peperoni) bestellt. Als Hauptspeisen bestellten wir: - Hähnchenbrust-Filet mit Pommes (umbestellt auf Tomatenreis) und gemischter Salat. - Schweinelendchen am Spieß mit Tomatenreis und gemischten Salat (umbestellt auf Bauernsalat) und einer extra Portion Tzatziki. - Bifteki (Frikadelle gefüllt mit Schafskäse) mit Tomatenreis und Bauernsalat. - Trikoloreteller (1 Souvlaki, 1 Leber und 1 Souzouki (Hackfleischwürstchen)) mit Reis und Krautsalat (umbestellt auf Bauernsalat). Alle Gerichte waren vom Grill. Auf die beiden ersten Gerichte will ich näher eingehen. Das Hähnchenbrustfilet war gut, aber mit einem Ölfilm überzogen. Der Tomatenreis war trocken, kam gewürzt, hatte fast keinen Geschmack und nicht richtig warm. Die Schweinelendchenspieße waren geschmacksneutral und auch mit diesem merkwürdigen „Ölfilm“ überzogen. Hier fehlte genau wie bei oben genanntem Gericht, der typische Grillgeschmack. Außerdem hatten zwei Stücke Fleisch außen größere Fetthäute. Der Reis siehe oben. Der Tzatziki war gut (etwas zu viel Salz). Warum man bei jedem Gericht noch eine Salatbeilage auf dem Teller hat (grünen Salat, Tomate, Olive und Peperoni) kann ich nicht nachvollziehen (typisch für deutsche Gastronomie), da es bei jeder Mahlzeit noch einen Salat dazu gibt. Die Salate waren durchschnittlich. Kurz bevor wir bezahlen wollten, bekamen wir noch aufs Haus 4 Ouzo. Dies war zwar nett, aber es wurden nur 3 getrunken. Hier sollte man vorher lieber die Gäste fragen, damit nichts übrig bleibt. Fazit: Das Restaurant hat eine sehr gute Lage, wegen der unmittelbaren Nähe zur Mosel. Das Servicepersonal in durchschnittlich (von gut bis mangelhaft – in diesem Fall die Chefin), die Toiletten sind durchschnittlich (Geruch). Es gibt einen kleinen Parkplatz, sonst besteht im Umfeld die Möglichkeit zu parken. Wir waren im Sommer 2024 und jetzt da, leider hat sich der erste Eindruck bestätigt. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich, wie das Personal, nur der Preis ist günstig. Für mich ist das keine Alternative bzw. eine Möglichkeit auszuweichen. Sehr schade.

That was our first visit here. The restaurant is beautifully located (directly on the Moselle) and the view is very good. The service was great, even though the restaurant was very busy, we only had to wait about 10 minutes for the food!!!! The starters and the main course were very tasty and well prepared. The price-performance ratio is absolutely great. We'd love to come back.

Without much frills, the focus at Delphi is clearly on the food. The dishes are well portioned, tasty and exactly what Greek food means. While it may seem a bit purist and rudimentary in winter, the restaurant, with its location on the Moselle, can be particularly exciting in summer and maybe even give you a little bit of a holiday feeling. A recommendation for anyone who doesn't want to compromise on Greek food.

Very good food, friendly staff!

By far the worst sea plaice I have ever eaten. The fish was breaded, which wasn't on the menu, broccoli was frozen and simply boiled, and it also tasted sour, so I didn't touch it any further. No card payment possible (EC only).

We were invited to a celebration. It should be said that the waitresses were very friendly and attentive, the buffet offered was very varied and tasty. I can't say anything about the prices because we were invited.

Large restaurant with delicious food and good service. An extensive lunch menu is offered. Despite being busy at lunchtime, we received our ordered food quickly. My moussaka tasted delicious with a successful bechamel topping, but was almost too meaty. If you're lucky enough to get a window seat, the restaurant's location on the first floor gives you a fantastic view of the Moselle. I'd love to come back.

We have enjoyed going here with the whole family for years on special occasions (birthdays, Easter, Christmas). The same goes for Christmas 2024. The food and service are always very good, even when there is a lot going on. Even our two small dogs are always allowed to come along. This time at Christmas it was somehow different and unfortunately none of us felt comfortable. It was packed, even more so than usual. We had a long table on the enclosed outdoor patio. There was such a loud background noise that you could only have a conversation with the person sitting next to you at the table on the right or left. Ordering drinks took a minimum of 30-40 minutes, the food came 40 minutes before the restaurant closed, so it wasn't possible to sit comfortably afterwards (if you had wanted to) and we were also given an espresso after the meal due to the time refused. Dear Delphi team, we have really enjoyed coming to you for years and have always been satisfied. But what we experienced at Christmas was mass processing in your favor and at our expense and our wonderful family Christmas. Unfortunately we won't be doing that anymore.

There is the most delicious tzatziki I have ever eaten. The meat is very tasty and juicy. If you're lucky enough to get a window seat in addition to the great food... then the evening is perfect 😃

We sat there on New Year's Eve, great view of the Moselle. The restaurant was full but the service was great. No stress and really nice and the food was delicious. We will come back soon

I recently visited this Greek restaurant and had the lamb platter, which exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. The rice was well-seasoned, and the lamb was tender and perfectly grilled. A great touch was that most meals came with a fresh salad, which added a nice balance to the dish (On an additional plate. The service was commendable. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the staff put in a lot of effort to ensure we were well taken care of. However, one small downside was that no water was served with the espresso, which is something I would have appreciated. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Greek cuisine.

This was our first time here and we will definitely come back. The food was really delicious and was served quickly. The staff are very accommodating and when the weather is nice you have a nice view. However, you have to say that the portions are really quite large, which is why you should definitely come hungry😂😊 All in all it was really very good and convinced us to come back. 👍🏼

Food is ok. Price/performance is not entirely appropriate. The ambience is certainly nice in summer, but the interior (currently winter) is like a gym and therefore very loud. The Delphi restaurant in the boathouse is always worth a visit. I've eaten there several times with friends, colleagues and even business partners. The quality of the dishes is very good, the price-performance ratio is good and the service is always impeccable. Since the boathouse is quite large, the ambience is a bit lacking, but the operators have made the best possible use of the location. So if you want to have a good Greek meal, Delphi is highly recommended.

Delphi Koblenz - where is the 6th star for the rating? The food is extremely tasty (crispy gyros, spicy souzuki, striking but not too spicy tzatziki), the grill plates are well combined so that every hunger or preference can find the right dish, and the service is friendly, helpful and quick (despite the large crowds). The ambience with the view over the dammed Moselle into the sunset (we were there in the evening) has a very unique flair. Due to the location at Renania, the ambience is a little less Greek-like than other Greeks offer. Overall, the food easily makes up for the lack of ambience!

The food was ok, unfortunately the ambience is more like a large hall that has a bit of a Greek feel to it. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and look at the water. Unfortunately it rained.

If you park, it's a 2-minute walk to the restaurant. On the outside it looks a bit “dated”. When you come in, everything is nice and bright, with lots of plants and sculptures. We were there around 12:30 on a Saturday. It was quite busy and there were a few more people coming after us. Lots of seats by the window, so many people get a view of the river and create an even nicer atmosphere. So the food came and everything tasted super juicy and delicious. Even the gyros, which can quickly become dry for many people. That was so so good. I had the Athens plate and my friend had a village plate. So we had the opportunity to try a lot of the meat and none of it was tough or dry! Also the Biftekis. Simply delicious. The tomato rice was also very juicy. And we all remembered that things weren't so good several years ago. But this time it was so good that I had to write a review. We'll definitely go there again!

When we asked for a table by the window, we were treated a bit rudely because they were all reserved, so we took a seat in the farthest, not nice corner. We ordered 3 different meals, the best being the fries. They really tasted good. The broccoli was completely soft, the fish wasn't particularly seasoned, and the squid rings were quite tough. Even though the restaurant otherwise has a mediocre reputation, we could only confirm this. If you want tastier food, you should go somewhere else. The service at the table was still quite nice in the end.

Es war mal wieder wunderbar! Wir feierten mit lustigen 16 Leutchen einen 90. (!) Geburtstag und wurden vorzüglich bedient. Der Tisch war hübsch dekoriert und das Essen kam superschnell und war absolut köstlich. Der Blick auf die Mosel tat auch im tristen Februar das seinige... Immer wieder gern! ;-)

Spontaneously had the idea of ​​going out to dinner with eight people. No problem in Delphi. Called, reserved a table and 45 minutes later we were there. A Greek in a rowing club, no tacky gods at the entrance, well we had to try that. We were in Koblenz on business and were looking for a restaurant on Sunday. This was our option along the Moselle. Relatively reserved and, if necessary, adapted to the corporate design of the rowing club. We would be warmly welcomed on the first floor and escorted to our place. The restaurant appears to be family run. Fast service and very attentive. We knew the interpretation of the food on offer from our local Greek in Berlin. I asked the lady if this could be done and without hesitation she gave me a compilation of individual dishes according to my ideas. Grilled pepperoni is an absolute recommendation and obligation. Pita bread with garlic and a delicious bifteki juwetzi with cheese gratin and metaxa sauce, just like I know it from home. Thank you for your willingness and excellent service to make this happen. The view of the Moselle while eating is simply fantastic. The food was very good, we would like to go there again. However, we had to point out our empty glasses several times so that we could reorder. But there was really a lot to do. Gladly again.

1.) tolle Lage leicht erhöht mit phantastischem Blick über den Fluß. Das waren wirklich Premium-Plätze. Klasse! 2.) Service gut und nett, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam trotz brechend vollem Lokal, keine Spur von Streß. Alles richtig zugeordnet und so gut wie gleichzeitig serviert. Klasse! 3.) Die Meinungen über gesundes Essen gehen weit auseinander. Die Vorspeise war fettdurchtränkt. Ein Salat mit Putenstreifen ist hier ein dickes Flöz Pute, darunter einige wenige kleine Salatblättchen und Zwiebelringe und Maiskörner vermischt mit einer gigantischen Menge an Käsehobelstreifen. Ich hatte aber viel gesunden Salat = Grünzeug mit ein bißchen Fleischbeilage erwartet. Vermutlich waren meine Erwartungen an einen "Salat" einfach falsch. Vielleicht besteht in Griechenland ein "Salat" aus 50% Käsehobel. Deshalb habe ich den Abend über eben die gesunden Komponenten vom Fett-Käse getrennt und alles Ungesunde zurückgehen lassen.

LECKER - GEMÜTLICH - SUPER NETT - GROSSE PORTIONEN - IMMER WIEDER GERN !!!!

Wir waren am ersten Donnerstag des Jahres ohne Reservierung hier und erhielten problemlos einen Platz – ich empfehle allerdings am Freitag und Samstag einen Tisch zu reservieren, da die Gastwirtschaft sehr beliebt ist. Das Restaurant hat eine umfassende Speisekarte, eine gute Getränkeauswahl und ist preiswert. Die Zubereitung der Speisen ist ausgezeichnet und reichlich bemessen, entspricht allerdings eher der westeuropäischen Vorstellung der griechischen Küche als dem, was man in Griechenland isst (gilt allerdings für viele Griechen 😊). Der Service ist äusserst flott und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wie so oft in Deutschland: Keine Kreditkartenzahlung möglich (bar oder EC-Karte). Wir würden das Restaurant auch besuchen, wenn die Preise 10–15 % höher lägen. Vielleicht wären eine moderate Erhöhung und die Akzeptanz von KK eine Option.
