During my time in Munich, I met a Japanese sushi master who gave me a little insight into the secrets of the sushi art. He liked me and let me into the preparation kitchen (it was top secret and no one was allowed in) where he prepared the rice. That was almost 15 years ago. At Sushi Berlin, I met a sushi master for the second time. Uncle Dang's craftsmanship is at the highest level. His sushi is in the league of the Japanese masters, only with his own unique style. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

The service was consistently friendly and attentive—just the right blend of proximity and professionalism. Culinary: first-class. My meal began with tamago, followed by skewers of chicken and rack of lamb, and a finale of nigiri. Everything was freshly prepared, perfectly balanced, and served to perfection. You can tell: The work here is done with craftsmanship, heart, and excellent product knowledge. Atmosphere? Quiet, understated, elegant—ideal for conversation and enjoyable dining without distractions. Delicious food and a beautiful restaurant. It also had a terrace overlooking the street, which was very pleasant. The waiters were very quick, although not particularly friendly, but correct. The restaurant serves you in English or French. The price may be steep, but the food is of good quality.

The atmosphere and service are simply perfect. We received a warm welcome and excellent service. The food was also delicious. This was our first visit, but certainly not our last❤️

The best sushi I've ever had—super fresh and tasty. The Dinh Dang roll is truly special, and I recommend it as a special feature. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive.

I’m surprised by the positive reviews of this place. I had the nigiri set and not only was the fish unpleasantly fishy, the rice tasted bad, like it had been prepared with dirty water. It was rather expensive for the service and quality.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the restaurant's ambiance because I have to order delivery due to time constraints. Since I've been ordering from there, I've always been extremely satisfied, whether with the delivery or the sushi. The in-house delivery person is always very friendly and respectful. The quality is always good and tastes great. My top recommendation.

All the food was excellent in a beautiful, calming atmosphere, and the friendly, attentive staff made for a wonderful time. We tried the miso soup and various types of sushi, and everything was absolutely delicious. The interior was also beautiful and carefully designed in every detail, making not only the food but the entire restaurant a delight. If I'm ever in Berlin, this is a restaurant I'll definitely visit again.

Very cosy restaurant with warm and persinal service. The food was delicious and interesting, cocktails are tasty and not expensive. We really enjoyed the dinner and the atmosphere. Surprisingly the place was half empty, so there was absolutely no noise and distractions. Will return for more! Set for four people was big enough and rich.

The top sushi restaurant in Charlottenburg! We're always impressed. Diverse sushi creations of outstanding quality, which can also be ordered in various sets at reasonable prices (not cheap). There's also a very good and appropriate selection of drinks. All of this is served by very friendly and attentive staff. And last but not least: The restaurant is not only beautifully decorated, but also spotlessly clean, right down to the almost sophisticated restrooms. An absolute recommendation.

I've tried many sushi restaurants and enjoy eating sushi often, but this one is clearly among the best in Berlin. Fresh ingredients, perfect rice, creative combinations, and a presentation that impresses every time. The service is very attentive, friendly, fast, and yet unobtrusive. The atmosphere is modern but not pretentious—you just feel comfortable.

A truly great sushi restaurant, located right in a very nice neighborhood. Very close to the S-Bahn and not far from the zoo. I had a delicious soup served in a teapot, and the waiter even explained how to eat it. Very interesting. Afterward, a sushi set selected by the chef. It was truly delicious, and the fish was exceptionally fresh and tasty. I think I'll be happy to come back.

The variety of vegetarian options, which are equally lovingly and tastefully prepared, deserves special praise. I will definitely return and can recommend Sushi Berlin to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality sushi in Berlin.

I'm Japanese 🇯🇵 I was overwhelmed by this super high-quality sushi restaurant 😭🍣 In addition to the standard menu of tuna and salmon, there is also a wide variety of sushi such as shellfish 👏 There are many other menu items besides sushi, such as miso soup, tamagoyaki, tonkatsu, tempura udon, etc. 🍜 The thing that surprised me the most was the taste 😋 No matter what you eat, it is comparable to Japanese food, and I think it is one of the best dishes in Japan. (I also took several Japanese friends there, and they all praised it) Not only the food, but also the wide variety of drinks is good as a bar 👌 The inside of the store is very clean, and you can spend time in a beautifully decorated and calm atmosphere ✨ All the staff were very polite and friendly 🥹 It's about a 5-minute walk from Savignyplatz station, so it's very accessible! I'll definitely come back again next time I go to Germany 👍

We really enjoyed our food. We had some sushi and shared a few starters. The service was very friendly and fast. We had two toddlers with us and they enjoyed the experience as well, especially when they got some gummy bear sweats at the end.

Nice atmosphere - but it's just 26° warm in there! Delicious sushi - but spicy tuna is not spicy, the wasabi is weak and only a pea big, you get about 4 leaves of ginger. No matter how much sushi you order. If a roll of maki (i.e. 6 pieces) costs €7.20, then I somehow expect a little bit more. The people are nice and it's not bad sushi. Definitely not worth a 4.7 for me, more like a 4.0. There are restaurants with the same atmosphere, more sushi, more wasabi, more ginger for less money.

From the reception to the goodbye (for sure) everything was great. Great food and great ambience. Here you can forget about everyday life for a while. Keep it up. Thanks

We actually planned to go to another restaurant which was unfortunately closed, so we went to Sushi Berlin at the last minute. We went in without a reservation and were warmly welcomed, asked how many people we were (3) and were seated at a suitable table. The employees were super nice, asked us shortly after we sat down what we would like to drink and shortly after we had the drinks we were able to order! The decor was very pleasant, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing and the staff took the time to listen to our needs. We weren't under time pressure either and ended up with up to 10 minutes left :D Price = performance absolutely TOP! 10/10 will come by more often!

We were looking for the place with testy sushi, because it’s not easy to find a good one in Berlin. And finely we’ve found it. We’ve taken Ebi-Shiru soup, California roll, Philadelphia roll, Open roll and Ebiten Inside Out. Everything was delicious. I will definitely coma there again. The service is best as well as an atmosphere

Really poor quality sushi. Sushi with tuna tasted incredibly like fish and had no color at all, which made it clear that the fish was not fresh. Even though we only tried one piece and complained about it, we still had to pay for it. Next we were told that it was probably due to the weather that the fish no longer tasted the same as it did in the morning. This statement was quite frightening and one wonders how raw fish is handled here. Additionally, this restaurant is not a Japanese restaurant.

I had one of the lunch menus, which was completely reasonable in terms of both size and price. Unfortunately, I live too far away (I was in the area on business) for this to be my "go-to" sushi restaurant. But if I come to the area again, I will definitely come back. 👍

Mein Office ist neben an und ich komme in der Woche 3 mal her jeden Mittag, einfach weil das Menu so gut und diverse ist, vorallem das Chicken Curry ist mein Favorit. Von anderen Restaurant werde ich schnell gelangweilt, was die Speisen angeht, aber hier hatte ich bis jetzt nicht einmal dieses Gefühl gehabt. Bin hier schon seid 3 Jahren Kunde und voraussichtlich die nächsten Jahre.
