My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at the Singing Diner, and it was simply wonderful. From the outside, the diner looks rather unassuming, but as soon as you walk in, you're greeted with such warmth that you immediately feel at home. The owner, Robin, is not only incredibly kind, funny, and attentive, but also a true entertainer with a whole lot of heart. You can tell how much love he puts into everything—be it the music, the service, or the delicious food. We were especially touched when he sang "Don't Stop Believin'" especially for us on our anniversary. It was so personal and emotional that we shed a tear or two. This moment will remain in our hearts forever. The food was also a highlight. It was fresh, delicious, served quickly, and really affordable. If you're looking for a chic, upscale restaurant, this might not be the right place for you, but if you're looking for a place to relax, laugh, enjoy, and marvel, the Singing Diner is the place for you. My wife and I were there for our anniversary, and R., the best singer in the world with the best food in the world, brought us to tears with his singing. The food was extremely delicious and reasonably priced. You couldn't ask for more!

You receive a very warm welcome. The ambiance of the restaurant is more reminiscent of a clubhouse, with lots of dark wood and no decor at all. Spartan, but VERY clean. Great service, very friendly owner. The food was delicious, but I personally felt some "fresh" vegetables were missing. The singing was fantastic, with a truly amazing voice. Definitely an experience.

Very tasty and reasonably priced food, with very pleasant and friendly service. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. A slight deduction for the basement ambiance, but you know that beforehand.

It was a super hot day, and we sat outside under an umbrella. The food was amazing. We were there as a family, and the kids loved it too. For dessert, the owner sang a song. A truly lovely place with excellent food. It really put us in a good mood.

Fantastic experience, will definitely be back if we’re in Bremen again! We had the spring roll, Babi Kecap and the Nasi Padang Rendang which were all full of flavour and made with tender, good quality meat. A wonderful surprise was the owner’s singing, which he did very well and provided a cozy atmosphere. Generous portions, excellent quality, welcoming service and very fair prices.

As a pair of bedraggled Aussie tourists who had spent the day on an op shop quest around Bremen, we found this little place by accident the other day and decided to try it for dinner as the Google reviews were glowing. We were warmly greeted by the owner Robin. We ordered the Beef Rendang, Babi Mercon, Nasi goreng and a plate of krupuk. This was more than enough for 2 people, but I hadn't had authentic Indonesian for a long time and was feeling greedy. The food was delicious! The rendang tasted just like what I have had in Indonesia. Full of flavour! My husband enjoyed his Babi Mercon. The dishes all came with plain rice. Robin speaks his native language (we chatted happily in Indonesian), as well as German and English. He then asked if he could sing us a song from Medan. The voice that came out was astonishing! The outside of the restaurant hides a true jewel within! Dont hesitate! Go in. Eat the food! Enjoy the singing! Or just order takeaway. Its ridiculously cheap! You won't be sorry! Good quality Indonesian food at reasonable prices. There could certainly have been one more skewer, but the peanut sauce was exquisite. The very friendly owner came up with the idea of ​​singing a song from his homeland quite randomly. And while you think that you are now witnessing a catastrophe, the boss brings out a very nice singing voice that could definitely get 2 to 3 rounds further at dsds if it were up to singing. The only small negative point is the ambience. It's hard for me to describe what bothers me, but there's something I don't like about the facility.

Es gibt nicht viele indonesische Restaurants in Deutschland, umso mehr haben wir uns gefreut, in Bremen eines zu finden. Sehr leckeres authentisches indonesisches Essen. Der Inhaber hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und dazu noch eine Extra-Gesangseinlage mit einem traditionellen Lied aus Medan gegeben. Ein sehr besonderes Erlebnis!

The food was very tasty, even if there is still room for improvement. The landlord (?) was great, very attentive and polite. And the singing performance was the highlight for all of us. The shop itself could do with a renovation and draft beer. Overall, it deserves 4 stars!!

Best! They made original taste of Rendang! And Gorengan was really well cooked, reminds me of real street gorengan. By far, none of the Indonesian restaurant in Germany could beat their Rendang. PS: The owner has a warm personality. He sang a song for us after we finished our dinner. He said, "he was glad that we enjoyed their food and would like to express his gratitude by singing an opera for us." Last but not least, his voice was Brilliant!!

Alangkah baik jika dikemudian hari owner menambah plakat atau berbagai macam pernak pernik diluar restaurant agar para pejalan bukan hanya melalui restaurant tersebut. Lampu warna warni atau gambar owner dengan sentuhan Irnamen indonesia yang kental akan budaya saya fikir akan jauh lebih menarik dan membuat orang terpaku dan terhipnotis untuk masuk. Das Interieur erinnert mehr an eine Eckkneipe aber das Essen ist wirklich gut. Und wenn der Eigentümer anfängt, auf indonesich zu singen, ist das der Höhepunkt des Abend; seine Stimme ist zu gut für dieses kleine Lokal!

Das ist der Nachfolger vom alten Surabaya. Wir waren früher dort immer wieder Gäste und auch beim neuen Besitzer ist fast alles wie seit vielen Jahren gewohnt. Kein Luxus aber gute, bodenständige, indonesische Küche. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, wie gewohnt - besonders die indonesische Frühlingsrolle - Klasse. 💥 Ein sehr netter Wirt, der manchmal auch sehr gut indonesisches Karaoke singt runden den empfehlenswerten Besuch dort ab.

This place is amazing. The food was so delicious, the Tempeh was one of my favourite dishes and the rendang was one of the best I’ve tried. We finished the night with an amazing Indonesian song sang by the owner. It was so magical. Highly recommended.

Ein wirklich süßes kleines Restaurant mit exzellenten hausgemachten indonesischen Klassikern, die gut gewürzt und authentisch sind. Tempeh, Rendang, Satay Ayam, alles war super lecker. Und am Ende hat uns der Besitzer in einer makellosen Oper-Stimme ein Lied vorgetragen — absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr netter Gastgeber, hat mit einer tollen Gesangseinlage bleibende Erinnerung gemacht. Essen war sehr lecker, Preis-/Leistung sehr gut. Einziges Manko ist die Inneneinrichtung. Etwas dunkel und lieblos, da ist noch Luft nach oben. Insgesamt aber eine klare Weiterempfehlung!

Wir waren enttäuscht. Auf der Homepage wird extra das Angebot vegetarischer und veganer Gerichte betont. Vor Ort stellte sich heraus, dass es lediglich ein veganes Gericht gibt. Die Reistafel für zwei Personen war viel zu wenig. Außer zwei Brokkoliröschen keinerlei Gemüse. Zu fettig. Für die Anzahl der Sitzplätze ist eine Servicekraft einfach zu wenig. Uns hat die Gesangseinlage auch sehr gut gefallen, aber ich gehe primär zum Essen in ein Restaurant.

Vorab: es war fantastisch. Durch einen puren Zufall waren wir heute in diesem Restaurant. Wir waren skeptisch, weil wir noch nie indonesischen gegessen hatten. Das Ambiente ist urig, sorgt aber genau dadurch für eine gemütliche Stimmung. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, aber völlig ausreichend. Wir hatten vier verschiedene Gerichte und jedes ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus. Als krönenden Abschluss gab es noch eine Gesangseinlage. Wow, was für eine Akustik und klanvolle Stimme. Für uns steht es fest, nach der Winterpause (bis 06.01.2023) gehen wir wieder hin. Ach ja unsere Kuhmilcheiweißallergie war absolut kein Problem und auch genügend Sojafreie Alternativen Strafverfahren zur Auswahl. Auch gibt es Gerichte ohne Fleisch.
