ZAFAR Restaurant in Bremen

A super cute little, family-like restaurant with very friendly waiters. The food was very tasty, but my dish was a bit too meat-heavy for me. I would have liked more vegetables and a little less meat, but that's probably just how the dish is. It was still delicious, I will try a different dish next time😊

A small, cozy restaurant with extremely friendly staff. The food was fantastic! Both the starters and the main courses, well seasoned and unique. We will definitely come back and can only recommend this little gem.

The best Falafel I ate in my life! Food was fresh, delicious and worth every penny. We ordered baba Ganush, falafel, lamb, dessert seen in the picture. We left full and satisfied. Really recommend the tea as well. The service was also great. Thanks for the recommendation to the waiter!!

Totally nice people, mother cooks and son runs the shop. Alone! The food tastes great, is excellently seasoned and is not just plain grilled food. The food is fresh and takes time. Despite the stress, everything is very friendly.

First of all, I would like to clarify that the restaurant is not bad in general, but I have important comments to keep in mind. 1- The quantity of food served is not appropriate, for example for five people consisting of a falafel plate and only two pieces of falafel. This is unacceptable, or a kibbeh plate with only two pieces for five people is absolutely unacceptable. A plate of fried potatoes is better made from unfrozen potatoes. The mixed grill plate... its appearance is generally not nice... the taste of the kebab needs to be checked as it is either made of old meat or the mixture is not good at all... Finally, the tabbouleh lacked acid and oil...

Totally delicious food, beautifully prepared and all in a nice atmosphere and very friendly service. We really enjoyed it and can only recommend the Zafar in Bremen.

Im September stand ein Städtetrip nach Bremen an! Natürlich wurde wieder geguckt, was es an besonderen und vor allem kulinarisch außergewöhnlichen Restaurants in der Hansestadt gibt. Gestoßen bin ich auf das Zafar durch Zufall bei Google. Hier, bei TripAdvisor, gab es noch keine großartigen Bewertungen, bzw tauchte das Restaurant in meinen Suchparametern gar nicht auf. Das ist nicht akzeptabel, und muss schnellstens geändert werden, denn das Zafar ist einfach nur zu empfehlen! Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gemütlich und viele Tische gibt es daher im Innenraum nicht. Daher definitiv reservieren! Die Mama steht in der Küche, und der Sohn bedient! Ergo Familienbetrieb! Die aAuswahl an Gerichten ist perfekt und es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei! Es gab zuerst eine unfassbar gute Vorspeise! Die Falafeln waren bis dato die besten, die ich je gegessen habe! Das gefüllte Brot war ebenfalls unglaublich lecker! Kostenlos dazu gab es noch eine kleine Einführung in Infos zum Gewürz Sunak. 😉👍 Der Hauptgang war ebenfalls fantastisch, authentisch und schmeckte einfach nach mehr! Alles in allem kann ich dieses kleine aber feine syrische Restaurant in Bremen nur wärmstens empfehlen, und jeder, der einmal authentisch orientalisch essen möchte ist hier goldrichtig! Lasst es euch schmecken!😋

Very tasty cuisine in a family traditional restaurant. Optionally you can also find out something about the background of the dish and you will feel like a welcome guest and not someone who is just being eaten for breakfast :) Highly recommended

Highly recommended! is the lunch menu, price per dish around €12.50 (4 to 5 are offered, changing weekly), very tasty, freshly cooked, served hot. Black tea is served before the meal. The service is extremely friendly, but not intrusive. When the weather is warm, we also serve outside on the slightly higher "terrace", and ice cream will soon be available too! Unfortunately, when you sit outside you have to accept that you will notice the traffic.

Best fatoush salad ever! Hidden in the bread balloon, this salad is also a visual highlight. And that's not the only thing that's so delicious. We have been to Zafar for lunch several times and have been impressed every time. You can simply taste that they cook there with love and lots of fresh ingredients. Absolute recommendation to try out the delicious menu there in peace and quiet!

Terrible. Totally unhygienic... everything so dirty. I'm really sorry, but even the food wasn't tasty either. It just looks good. A lot of things are not freshly made, such as the starters, the dips or the bread. We were inspired by the reviews. Now I can't understand it at all and I'm shocked by it. When you're there, it's enough to check the cleanliness of the place. Make up your own mind! The reviews do not reflect what we saw, smelled or ate (!).

Absolutely excellent!! Terrific discovery! Unquestionably homemade cuisine, of great finesse, full of varied flavors within the same dish. Hearty dishes, very gentle service, attentive to the customer, very pleasant. We had a great time during our stay in Bremen and we will remember this wonderful restaurant for a long time with our two young children! Once again, congratulations to the cook, we have never eaten such good oriental cuisine!

Unique cuisine, distinctively seasoned, fresh craftsmanship. As a starter I had fried dough balls with juicy minced beef filling, a very good dish with a small salad bouquet. The salad was also particularly tasty. My girlfriend enjoyed the dumplings with cheese and black cumin filling. For the main course I chose hummus with minced beef, which tasted excellent. The hummus was so delicious that I will wish for more hummus than ground beef on my next visit. For this course my friend chose a vegan dish. She was also extremely delighted. The service was pleasantly decelerated. The restaurant, although on the street, was pleasantly quiet. Only my non-alcoholic wheat hardly tasted good to me, which is probably due to the manufacturer. All in all, a very satisfying experience with a lot of anticipation for the next time.

Small, fine restaurant in Findorff. Very personal service with good recommendations. The kitchen works with good products and prepares very aromatic dishes. The falafel and stuffed grape leaves were particularly good. The restaurant cooks better than many other Syrian or Lebanese restaurants we have visited so far. Recommendation!

We discovered this place with a NeoTaste app, and we were very pleased. At first, I had doubts because I had never tried Arabian cuisine before, but it turned out to be more than just a tasty meal. I enjoyed every bite of the food. The lady who prepared the meals was very kind, and the portions were also big. The place itself was cozy and clean. I've never been to a restaurant in my entire life where you felt as familiar as Zafar. Unfortunately, since my visit I have had too high expectations of other restaurants, which cannot be met 😅 So all in all a 12/10 highly recommended

Meine Geschwister und ich sind inzwischen regelmäßig zu Gast bei Frau Zafar und ihrem familiären Ambiente. Geburtstag feiern (Frau Zafar hat sogar eine - unglaubliche - Torte gebacken und uns mit Sekt verwöhnt), mittags essen oder am Abend - wer arabisches und meditteranes Essen mag, wird hier nicht enttäuscht, bin jedesmal wieder begeistert. Und das, obwohl ich als Vegetarier mit feiner Zunge schwierig zu verwöhnen bin: Frau Zafar schafft das. Ich hoffe, das "Zafar" bleibt uns laaaaange Zeit erhalten. Fünf Sterne von mir

I had my birthday-dinner in this nice little restaurant (9 people). It was really good like always - excellent mezze, fine maine dishes. There was no more place for a dessert! The owner and her son are so nice and warm-hearted, I love them! Recommandation!

Four of us were there on a Saturday evening and would love to come back. Everything was great, very friendly service and delicious, varied food.

The salads, the ayran and the lentil soup were delicious and prepared with care. The staff is incredibly friendly, authentic and underlines the charm of the restaurant. Would come here again and again - clear recommendation!

Super lieber und guter Service. Essen schmeckt immer sehr sehr gut. Es werden immer alle extra Wünsche berücksichtigt. Besonders die Cocktails sind sehr zu empfehlen. Kommen fast einmal die Woche und wurden bisher nie enttäuscht.

Noch ein Geheimtipp in Findorff. Wir waren schon mehrfach im Zafar und waren jedes Mal begeistert. Durch den sehr freundlichen Service haben wir uns sofort willkomnen und wohl gefühlt. Das Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet, toll angerichtet und sehr lecker. Auf der Karte stehen keine Alkoholika aber jede Menge alkoholfreie, gut zubereitete Cocktails. Auf Nachfrage kann man auch alkoholische Getränke bekommen. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Zafar ist mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Das Essen ist wahnsinnig lecker, frisch und die Besitzer sind großartig. Der Catering-service ist sehr zu empfehlen, da er sehr lecker und üppig ist. Weiter so! Hoffentlich bleibt das Restaurant, da die Miete echt teuer ist. Mit qualitativ hochwertigem Essen ist es schwierig Geld zu verdienen, daher möchte ich das Restaurant auf diesem Weg unterstützen. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Es war wirklich ein Vergnügen, hier zu sitzen - der Service war ausgesprochen gastfreundlich. Das Essen war phänomenal, insbesondere meine Sayadieh, die perfekt zubereitet wurde.

Immer wenn ich in Findorff bin, versuche ich, im Zafar vorbeizuschauen. Leckeres Essen mit einer Vielzahl gut abgestimmter Gewürze und freundlicher Service sind der Grund dafür.
