Barkeeper ist top. Die Drinks sind Mega . Und tolle Bedienung, alle sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam der Alkohol hat gute Qualität und Mann fühlt sich nicht schnell abgearbeitet sondern Mann nimmt sich hier Zeit für die Gäste. Man fühlt sich wohl draußen ist es nicht zu voll und man kann angenehm sitzen und reden

Tolles Frühstück, super Service, nette Leute, gerne wieder. Auch das Abendessen war lecker. Danach schön an die Bar“ Red Corner“, danke auch an Orhan!!!

Wij kwamen eraan rond 14u, het restaurant is in het hotel en zag er gesloten uit. Maar een heel vriendelijke receptioniste nam ons mee naar binnen. Ondanks dat wij er helemaal alleen zaten werden we zeer vlot en vriendelijk bediend. Het eten was ook zeer lekker. Wij namen de vitello tonato en de schnitzel jagersaus.

Dieser Herr Bilgrim hinter der Bar war echt super! Die Bar an sich hatte eine große Auswahl an Getränke.. Echt klasse typ!

HIDDEN IN THE HOTEL!!! Tl;DR -tasty and pretty food, -inexpensive and pleasant (Perhaps 1€ more expensive than in the normal chip shop... but pleasant and quiet) -very nice staff -quite a nice atmosphere -SUPER SECRET TIP!!! (were there on Valentine's Day and it wasn't crowded!) Even though I have to say that I always had to add a pinch of salt, the food was really delicious! But it's my own fault that I have salt-polluted standards that are really unhealthy for us humans. So now on to the actual topic. Because the SunnySide restaurant is located in the hotel, you could walk past the Hotel "Ramanda" and miss it. But that's precisely why it's now an insider tip of mine! The delicious and pretty food, which may be a little more expensive, is really worth it! Quiet ambience with pleasant music, where mostly only the hotel's own guests eat and it is therefore rather quiet and uncrowded. So on Valentine's Day I had dinner with my girlfriend on site. It was very quiet and pretty empty despite this date/event. OF COURSE, it's enough if just one group is too loud, but that's the case everywhere. As befits a “good bar”, bread was offered directly and the service was very quick and very attentive. We then ordered the tortelloni, the pink fried rump and the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. A clean plate, without fingerprints or other dirt, comes with our dishes. And these were also beautifully served and garnished with something. I also tried the tortelloni and the porcini mushroom filling was pretty tasty. But my performance was great too! The mushroom sauce also tasted great with my sweet potatoes. And in good time, care was taken not to cover too quickly but also not too slowly and to serve dessert immediately. Which was also quite tasty! You could also have a good chat and the evening was really nice. Even though my girlfriend and I tend to be loners, the group was bearable at the beginning because it was just that one and the child too at the end, even if that's a matter of luck with children but I say "the right atmosphere so that the child is not stressed!". Selection of dishes relatively small, prices upper level, quality okay. Nice personel. Ambience nice. Large salad buffet. Presentation of the dishes could be better. Free bread with spreads as an “starter” is great.

Super tasty and super nice. We had received a voucher for a 3-course menu and a menu card was spontaneously written for us. All dishes were very tasty and wonderfully prepared. The waitresses were very accommodating and friendly!

Im Rahmen von einem Wochenende in Essen und Übernachtung im Welcome Hotel (gesonderte Bewertung) hatten wir ein Abendessen im Sunny Side gebucht. Wir trafen auf sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedingungen die mit dem spärlich besuchten Restaurant keine Mühe hatten. Aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen waren die Erwartungen bei uns recht hoch gesteckt, aber leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Waren die Burger noch ganz Ok waren die Jägerschnitzel nicht wirklich gewürzt und total trocken, wie auch die Beilagen und sehr wenig Soße. Der Beilagrnsalat war bitter und es war kaum Dressing an ihm. Die Größe der Kugel der Eisbecher waren ein kleiner Witz für den Preis und Sahne musste man suchen. Ebenso wie das Hotel selbst bekommt auch das Restaurant von uns leider keine Empfehlung!

Were there for the candle light dinner by Jochen Schweizer! It was absolutely awesome! Very tasty food, great menu composition and extremely courteous and nice service! Highly recommended and we will definitely come back!

Had a nice schnitzel dinner during our stay in the Welcome Hotel in Essen. Good food, reasonably priced and friendly staff. All the staff spoke English so we did not struggle with the language.

Da wir eine Nacht im Hotel gewohnt,,die Zimmer um 11 h geräumt und uns nach einem kurzen Stadtbummel wieder hier getroffen haben um auf den Bus zur Rückreise zu warten haben wir eine Kleinigkeit im Restaurant bestellt,was aber mit Schwierigkeiten verbunden war.Die Bedienung,ein junger Mann,Offensichtlich in der Ausbildung war erkennbar etwas überfordert. Schade ,ein erfahrener Kellner (Ausbilder) hätte den Jungen Mann Unterstützen müssen. Letzt Endlich hat dann doch alles geklappt und jeder Gast hat das bekommen was bestellt wurde.Das Essen war sehr gut, ausreichend und schmackhaft!

Wonderful experience.. in fact was a moment never to forget. Meeting interesting people.. makes it amazen..

ür unseren Hochzeitstag wollten wir in ein Restaurant gehen. Leider waren die von uns ausgewählten Restaurants ausgebucht. Das Hotel bot einen Tisch. Das war eine sehr gute Wahl. Der Hotel- und Restaurantservice hat alles dafür getan, dass es ein unvergesslicher Abend wird. Wir haben diesen Abend wirklich genossen

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten das Dinner for two am Freitag Abend gebucht. Sehr lecker, vielfältig, freundlicher Service und das zu einem tollen Preis (69,00 EUR für 2 Personen inkl einer Flasche Wein). Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

I dine here while saying in the hotel, and I was quite surprised for the quality and the preparation of the dishes. The price is also definitely affordable. I wan not expecting this restaurant is an hotel. Definitely a good bargain if you do not want to get out for dinner.

Zwei von uns hatten das Menu, zwei á la carte gegessen. Das Menu war für Fleischesser ausgezeichnet und ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Das vegetarische Nudelgericht war leider versalzen, der vegetarische Burger bestand aus zwei Camemberts statt Fleisch - das ist nun doch sehr einfallslos und man möchte zu einem lehrreichen Besuch in Burgerrestaurants raten, die da exzellente Bratlinge servieren. Gute Weinempfehlung des auch sonst sehr aufmerksamen Personals

Wir waren zum Candle-light-dinner hier, das Essen war sehr gut, der Wein bekömmlich. Bedienung sehr aufmerksam.

die barbedienung war charmant und zuvorkommend. das essen ok (burger - gleich gut, bin knusprig, fries naja, sauce ok jedoch nicht wow), für business ruhig und zurückhaltend. genoss freaks vermissen das gewisse etwas. das essen am tisch hatte ich letztes jahr feiner abgeschickt und variantenreicher empfunden. vielleicht nächste chance nochmal.

Limited menu but adequate and well presented food. Large portions on "snack" menus and main meals tasty, served well and pleasing. Staff very friendly and efficient. Good restaurant for the area.

We had a fantastic four course meal on a Friday evening. The food was well prepared and delicately seasoned, the staff were excellent (in fact on a par with some far more expensive restaurants in NRW). I highly recommend this restaurant to people interested in fine dining on a budget. Definitely worth every penny, and I will go there again!

This little gem is situated in the Welcome Hotel in the city centre. We were warmly greeted by a member of the staff and shown to an immaculately dressed table by the window. Ordered our meals expecting a standard hotel restaurant experience. The food arrived beautifully presented and it is honestly the best meal I have had for a long time. The truffle infused soup was delicious and the steak was melt in the mouth fantastic. The salad was fresh and crisp with a delicious dressing. Major compliments to the chef! The service was of extremely high standard but remained relaxed and friendly. If you are in Essen visit this restaurant as it is excellent.

This is the restaurant inside the Welcome Hotel in Essen where we were staying for a week. The restaurant had very inventive dishes and good quality food and service. The dishes were well presented in a professional chef kind of way. The prices of the meals were reasonable for this quality of restaurant. The prices of drinks are very expensive and small, though that tends to be the case whatever restaurant you visit.
