The quality has decreased significantly, the salmon looked good but the taste was terrible, and the other side dishes such as chicken, lamb and beef (+ everything in the same sauce) were so tough that you could hardly eat it. The sushi itself consisted of too much rice that couldn't even be identified as sushi rice anymore, it was totally crumbly... because the price of the "all you can eat" option has risen so much, the quality has decreased massively, I won't be going there again, which I think is a shame because it used to be much better there. For the price you can get much better sushi in Bielefeld!

One of the dishes I ate today with All you can it came out like this. It was so disappointing that it felt like they were playing with the food. The seafood used in all dishes was very mushy and not very fresh (even the fruit felt old). Overall, the seasoning was so strong that I felt flatulent. The quality is so terrible that the price of 35 euros per person (without drinks) makes no sense. The staff is friendly and the food doesn't deserve a single star.

A lovely experience! There were three of us and we didn't have a reservation, but we were immediately given a seat with very little waiting time. The waiter explained the concept to us and the service was very nice. The older gentleman in particular was very attentive. The food was good, I particularly liked the large selection! Two of us went to Sumo and were unfortunately disappointed. Ordering via tablet initially sounded practical, but the device was dirty, and our food was even placed on it – very unhygienic. The quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The sushi consisted mostly of rice, and the fish dwindled as the evening progressed. The meat (duck, chicken, lamb) was obviously frozen and tough. Moreover, you can't really call it "all you can eat" when you're only allowed to order five small items per round and then have to wait 15 minutes for the next order. With a time limit of 2.5 hours, that's a clear limitation. Especially at the beginning, it took almost an hour to satisfy our initial hunger. The desserts were purely industrial, and things that are standard in other sushi restaurants (e.g., wasabi or sashimi) cost extra here. The price of €36 per person (excluding drinks), with many additional charges, is absolutely exorbitant. The only bright spot: the nice lady and the friendly older gentleman serving. But overall, Sumo has declined considerably – we won't be coming back.

There are much better ones. There were two of us yesterday (19.03.25) and we only understood half of what the waitress was saying, and then the wrong food kept coming to the table. I'd never experienced lamb in terms of quality; it was more like meat that you had to chew like a baby monkey. For people who were too far away from the tray you had to order from, there was always the danger that the stupid thing might fall off. Constant waiting is not good for people with ravenous appetites or who are hungry, as it is constantly annoying. Just like in every sushi bar/restaurant there is always this stupid surcharge for what isn't eaten, and it's no wonder if it isn't cooked or fried properly, I certainly don't want to upset my stomach or even get food poisoning or salmonella. Trying it once is fine, but I won't be going back. It's more for people who are too lazy to get their own food from the buffet. Exactly the right restaurant.

The food was delicious. The ambience is nice. The service very fast. It would still have been a nice evening if they hadn't messed up our reservation. At the beginning we had to prove via the call list that we called and justify ourselves again after paying. People had the feeling that we were being accused of sneaking in illegally. We were accused of stealing seats from other poor guests. At first I was skeptical when we received a voucher for this. It was pretty crowded when we walked in. But the staff arrived quickly and showed us the table. Drinks were also quickly picked up and served. It's unusual to order via a tablet. A tip, you should have the tablet cleaned first, because ours didn't look cleaned.😞 We also chose dishes that we didn't know, only if you didn't like them you were looked at strangely when you gave them back. Although we tried with 4 people. But something like this is really great, since you get the food in small bowls/plates, you don't have to go back as much if you don't like it. We were also amazed that, despite being crowded, it wasn't any louder than in normal restaurants.👍 The food came very quickly and was cleared away quickly when it was empty. The concept of being able to order 5 dishes every 15 minutes surprised me a lot, but I can absolutely recommend it 😋 It was very tasty, the staff was very nice and the price was good too! I always really like the food here but the last time I was here was an absolute disaster. I was there with my family and unfortunately two of them have severe gluten intolerance. On the iPad there is no ingredient information at all and the normal card at the table is simply not correct, but there is a third card that is just a word table with crosses, so you spend half the evening looking at the pictures on one card and then looking in the other card to see whether you can eat it. Disaster. The modern approach with the iPads is great and there is also a button to see more information about the individual dishes, why aren't the ingredients there too? Why are ingredients printed on the regular card if they are simply wrong? In addition, when I asked why the information in the normal map was incorrect, I received a stupid answer. Extremely unprofessional. Except that some dishes, when ordered together, are put on one plate. Of course I understand that this is common, but when someone with an intolerance of just one tiny gluten molecule has to spend the whole night hanging over the toilet, this is something that needs to be taken into account. I will never come here again with anyone who has any incompatibility, you just can't rely on being respected enough here.

Great food! You should check the prices beforehand, but the sushi in this shop is simply the best! Ordering via the tablet was also fun. Half a star deducted because unfortunately we waited a really long time for the first drink. We had already received the first rolls, but had nothing to drink yet, so we asked when the food was served. Then the drinks came quite quickly and so did everything else. Maybe just sunk. My conclusion about the whole misery was really sobering. Let's get to the front door first. The extractor hood was certainly set to the last setting as the door wouldn't open. Luckily there was a customer at the door who helped me open the door (my first date looked puzzled). I smashed the door into the restaurant with full force. I'm happy to pay for good food, but I'm not happy to pay for a stomach ache. Never again! The sushi was so dry and poorly rolled that it fell apart between the chopsticks. The rice was hard and undercooked. The store was packed to the rafters and the staff was completely overwhelmed and very unfriendly. We had all you can eat and continually received dishes that we hadn't ordered, others only came 2-3 rounds later. Sometimes things were literally thrown onto the table as you walked past, so much so that they almost flew off your plate. In the end we were reprimanded quite harshly and unfriendly because of the leftover food that we hadn't ordered. Conclusion: For the prices charged, the overall picture is a joke. You simply expect more - namely better service and better food. Apparently it's not about quality, just quantity.

We were there on Friday with 3 adults and 2 children. Since then everyone has had stomach pain, diarrhea and vomiting. Everything points to food poisoning, which both the pediatrician and the family doctor confirmed. I called on Tuesday and was supposed to come over. Conclusion: We were fobbed off with a ridiculous voucher for €60 and were told that we had eaten everything all together. Absolutely disappointing. The old lady who was at the bar yelled at me outside in front of all the customers just because I wanted my 3-4 sushis packed and didn't understand paying an extra €9 for 3-4 pieces. I went to Sumo for the first time 4 years ago and unfortunately I have to agree with the reviews about the decline in quality. We were there on Sunday and reserved a table in advance. We specifically asked to get a table outside when the weather was good. When we arrived I saw that all the tables outside were occupied. Because of the good weather, we also brought our 3-month-old puppy with us (but only because we made a reservation outside!) When I told the boss that we had reserved a table outside, she said there was no one left and that she had one inside has us. I pointed out to her again that we wanted a table outside and that we had a puppy with us who would probably find it too loud inside. She showed us a table inside and we sat down first. I then asked my friend to remind her that we had reserved a table outside. Luckily, my puppy wasn't scared at this point. When my friend asked her about it, she just said that she didn't have a table outside and if we wanted to sit outside we should come back in 1.5 hours. I then asked her if we could move as soon as a table outside became available. She became totally rude and said no because otherwise we would have to bring the food and drink from inside outside. What kind of service is this?! I come from gastronomy and service myself and that is not a service that I would give to my guests! It doesn't work at all!!! We called ahead because of the puppy and the man on the phone assured us that dogs were allowed, but no one was willing to bring water for the little one.

The quality of the food has decreased massively. High-quality ingredients are hard to find anymore. Sushi is defined by high-quality and fresh ingredients. As you can see in the picture, the sushi consists of 80% rice... you can hardly see any salmon or avocado, let alone taste it. And that was no exception, it was like that the whole evening. The other dishes also tasted very average to below average. We are very disappointed. For the money you can eat very good, high-quality sushi in Bielefeld. We won't be coming back...

Great atmosphere with the option to eat outside. The conditions were all very nice and friendly. The price is also very good for the food. The only drawback is that a sushi roll was not rolled well and was brought to the table once or twice without any content. It's still a great Shushi restaurant and we'll definitely come back again!

Ambiance is nice. We went there based on Google reviews. Sushi was not solid much apart. Beef with cheese (shoe sole with something in it).Sauce for the spring rolls (3 pieces) is enough for 1 maximum!! Ice cream was with ice crystals and the flavor of the table partner. There is a difference between chocolate and vanilla. The selection and quality of the food compared to other All You Can Est Sushi Bars is very small and the taste is poor. Aperol with still water (that's what we were told. It could have been stale sparkling wine. This was complained about. service Bad is put very kindly. Instead of clearing the table, used dishes are piled on top. While you're eating, something is briefly placed on your own plate because you need space. That doesn't work!!! Instead of walking around the table, people constantly reach over the table. Clear away glasses? Nope, why is there enough space on the table? We explained everything to the lady who charged us. She wanted to offer us a drink on the house. This is meant kindly but that doesn't make the whole experience good. That doesn't work at all

Deserved 5 stars. The takoyaki were to die for. Ordering via tablet is simple and clear. You can't complain about the price either. There were two of us, under 30 euros per person, without "all you can eat". The next culinary visit to Bielefeld is guaranteed to find its highlight here ;)

Yesterday we went for an all you can eat meal with the whole family. Was great as always. Everything is fresh and good quality, well prepared. The staff very friendly and quick. Can't understand the bad reviews!!! But some people always have something to complain about. I can definitely highly recommend it! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Good food and calm atmosphere. Lots of choice and very tasty food. The service was also relaxed. We'd love to come back. The restaurant offers a varied buffet in a cozy atmosphere. It's OK ! Sushi doesn't taste like quality but you can eat it if you're hungry. Unfortunately a few noodles arrived burnt. Conclusion: if you feel like eating a lot, this is the place for you. If you're looking for quality sushi, you've come to the wrong place. The prices are very high but definitely justified for the amount of portions you can eat

The food itself is good and tasty, but the service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Nobody has to carry us on their hands, but nobody wants to be served in an annoyed manner. Friendliness is written wrong and lowercase in the case of the older gentleman and the man in his mid-20s. Total zero-buck mentality that leads to customers never coming back, even though the food is really tasty. But a snack bar or restaurant lives and dies with good service. It can't be in the owner's interest that his employees treat customers like this and potential is wasted. But of course I don't want to take away from anyone, it could have been a bad day. The food speaks a different language and was great.

Ordered food. Of three dishes, only one was correct. After twenty minutes of discussion with the delivery person, who doesn't even have the number of his employer or restaurant on his cell phone, a second driver was supposed to bring the correct order this time. Congratulations. This time two out of three orders were correct. I could starve and this would be the only supplier in Bielefeld, I would rather have oatmeal and tap water than order here again. Never again.

Went there today to get a drink and waited about 20 minutes. What nothing happens. The waitress simply didn't pay any attention to us. She walked past us a few times and made no attempt to serve us. Thank you for nothing. We're definitely not getting anywhere. And I wouldn't recommend it either
