I paid for atmosphere not for food

Not much flavor in the kebab. Low quality.

The pizza was pretty hard. The taste was okay, but the texture was too solid for pizza, and the meat wasn't particularly high quality.

The staff is not polite at all. Customer satisfaction is not very important for employees. The staff's clothing is very dirty. The hygiene is not very good

Döner was very nice. The staff was attentive and very clean. I advise.

He made me pay double for water in a heated day and gave me a fiscal ticket that had different products than what I bought.

I think Sultan Döner is the best doner restaurant in Freiburg and its owner, Seyit Ali, is very friendly, very hospitable, thank you very much. And we liked it very much in terms of atmosphere, food taste and service. If you are from Turkey, you will understand the difference in quality, especially in doner kebabs. It is a great place. I would definitely recommend it. Everything was perfect 💯🙌

The meat didn't taste good at all. I had to say 4 times what kind of sauce I wanted. Tzatziki was still missing. When I asked, the guy didn't know what it was. I have to say, I've never experienced anything like this in a kebab shop. Also not friendly. Price was ok.

i visited it last December and the food was 100% LIT, tasty,authentic and full of flavors. the service was fast even though there was a lot of customers. 6 months later: The food lost it all, blend as if overnight food the service and staff were kind hopefully they get their food right otherwise what a loss . BTW: for both the first and second time i ate them i ordered :Pizza Kebab and meat bourek

Great kebab and yufka with chicken corn and pepperoni especially with the good cocktail sauce I don't know why such a review is written here, we've been eating there for years and everything is fine some people just have no taste, so top load Doy Doy ..

It took too long and the food was too dry and the refrigerator outside was no longer a refrigerator but a cupboard that didn't cool at all, just catastrophic

Yufka bread is homemade and quite tasty. But the falafeldueruem made with it was unfortunately almost tasteless. I'm used to much better things from Berlin and Leipzig, especially for the price.

The sign said it was reopening. Okay, the shop was right next to the hotel. Still hungry at night. Then ran over to the nice kebab man. Ordered kebab and now the disaster begins. To you operators for information. You never take warmed meat out of a pot to make a kebab. But always cut directly from the skewer and then onto the bun. Write that behind your ears. Everything else is nonsense and just doesn't taste good. You can write cleanliness behind your ears, because that wasn't it. And all of this at a new opening. My dear man. Do your homework. Either right or not at all.

“Yufka with everything” obviously meant a lot of dough and a half-empty kebab with a little meat, yogurt and one or two lettuce leaves. Especially for the price of €7? I felt it was unjustified. Unfortunately it wasn't particularly tasty either, I won't be back.

Visiting Fribourg. Small kebap plate at the Sultan near the center and the parking point. Fast service, the little extra, the boss speaks a little French. The interior room is small with few seats.

Unfortunately, we made the mistake of stopping by as soon as we arrived in Freiburg. The guy on duty was incredibly sullen and rude. We asked if you could split the pastry. He said, "I work here, I can't do anything" and started complaining about his boss :) He is fed up with his life and is forced to serve. We said whatever, but when the pastry turned out raw, I really felt sorry for the money I spent. Don't even go through the door of a terrible place.

Overall, far too little for a kebab. The taste was okay. However, that was more of a small sandwich. I don't come here anymore. Much too little!!!

Yufka tastes like little. Actually like a roll of salad with yogurt. Unusually little meat. Service was quick. Looked delicious. But nothing more.

Le pide était pas mal les durum kebab sont bien garnis et les pizzas était assez moyennes. En bref on peut y manger sans trop de risque mais ne vous attendez pas à de la grande cuisine.

Geschmäcker sind bekanntlich verschieden - insbesondere bei Dönersoßen :-). Ich für meinen Fall freue mich, dass es noch Restaurants wie dieses gibt, wo man eine einfache Joghurtsoße bekommt und nicht dieses fettige, überwürzte Mayo-Salatdressing aus dem Eimer, was in den meisten Einrichtungen inzwischen Standard ist. Die Qualität des Fleisches könnte etwas höher sein, daher der Stern Abzug. Sehr lecker ist auch der selbstgemachte Börek und der Couscous-Salat.

Tried multiple times. Had bad experience two times (kind of stored chicken) when I ordered kebab box. Do not recommend for dinner. It’s an average one. Nothing exciting.

Der ehemals als Institut der Dönerologie bekannte Imbiss hat in den letzten 20 Jahren leider leider leider viel an Qualität und Geschmack verloren. Mittlerweile reiht sich diese Imbisskette in die Reihe der gewöhnlichen Dönerläden ein. Schade für alle Dönerliebhaber.

Gerade eben Döner Kebap bestellt und verzehrt. Das (Hack-)Fleisch kam aus der Warmhaltebox und war lauwarm und wohl schon länger dort. Dazu kam lediglich Eisbergsalat und etwas Gurke, von verschiedenen Krautsalaten, Tomaten oder ähnlichem war keine Spur erkennbar. Geschmacklich wirklich nicht gut und für 4,80€ völlig überteuert.

If you are in Freiburg this is the place to eat. We both had breakfast and dinner twice here. Once we came here, we kept going back for the food. The prices are very good considering the other places in the country. The borek in the breakfast was to die for! Homemade bosnian borek! And i told this to the owners as well its kebab was tastier than what I had in Istanbul! Their suace is homemade unlike other turkish kebab places, you wont be disappointed.

Wer in Freiburg für den schnellen Hunger zwischendurch ein Döner essen will kann im Sultan aus einer grossen Karte wählen. Aber neben Hauptzutat Lamm und Huhn und Umhüllung Fladenbrot, Yufkablatt, Pizzaboden oder Teller ist es eigentlich immer dasselbe und das was es ist ist nicht gut: Das Fleisch wird auf Vorrat abgschnitten und lauwarm gehalten und es ist übermässig mit Natriumglutamat verseucht, sie erinnern sich, den Geschmacksverstärker mit dem die Industrie minderwertige Zutaten versteckt, man bekommt durch das Essen Durst wie Hölle. Dafür ist der Laden nicht mal billig sondern nimmt Preise wie sie für ehrliches Essen ausreichend wären. Also muss ich klar von einem Besuch abraten.

Mit Abstand der schlechteste Döner in Freiburg. Das niedrige Dönerniveau in Freiburg so stark zu untertreffen ist schon eine Kunst für sich. Glückwunsch

Geschmacklich wirklich langweilig, für Yufkas die man sonst so in Freiburg kennt. Vegan ist kaum möglich (Habe bis jetzt noch nie erlebt, dass das nicht möglich ist). Ich bekam tatsächlich einen Döner der nur Salat und Gurken-Tomaten-Salat enthielt. (An dieser Stelle möchte ich das "Amara" in Freiburg empflehen)

Good,authentic Turkish food,in big portions,at very reasonable prices. The place is almost in the center of the town,and works late in night. Staff is nice,the service is quick,enough seating places,take-out offerded. Nice place to quick lunch or snack.

I ordered a Gyro at this place. I was used to the Gyros back home, I did not expect it to be so large. Not only was it much larger than expected, the quality was excellent as well. My advice is to go here hungry....
