Subway in Mülheim-Kärlich

Very unfriendly staff. You order something and one employee insults you. Very unfriendly and non-customer oriented service. One employee in particular is extremely unfriendly. At first glance she seems nice, but she insults you when you pick up your order. I'm used to different service from Subway. Definitely not recommended as long as this person works there. You want to relax after work and not be insulted while picking up food. I definitely won't recommend it to friends or relatives either. Then you just drive a little longer, but you have better service and nice employees.

Very unfriendly employee. We were no longer allowed to order at the terminal 15 minutes before closing time and had to order at the counter even though we had already selected everything. I come from the catering industry myself and understand that you want to finish work. However, if the opening times are signposted until 10 p.m., I have the right to order at the terminal at 9:45 p.m. after my 10-hour shift. After the “nice” request, we left the restaurant straight away so that the gentleman and his bandana could finish work on time.

I actually like to go here in the evenings, but today I had to experience a really unfriendly employee - who apparently thought it was more important to get off work quickly than to win two more customers. The opening hours are until 10 p.m. - at 9:45 p.m. the gentleman asked us in a tone that wasn't really appropriate that we should order at the counter because we had to do it now anyway. By then we had already entered our entire order into the terminal and just had to pay. There were also guests eating in the restaurant itself, so we were by no means the only or last ones. We then followed the employee's request after work because we didn't want to order everything again and left without eating anything. It's a shame that you have to feel so unwanted as a guest these days.

So... I think that the concept of terminal and normal ordering doesn't work at Subway, especially if you want to pay in cash. With a staff of 3 everything went wrong. Long waiting time, then our order was forgotten, order was incomplete even though the receipt was reprinted and was in front of them. Simply understaffed and overwhelmed. Tables weren't clean and we waited a total of 50 minutes for 2 sandwiches and fries. Well...the food was cold too...it wasn't worth it...

Food ordered via the app, was ready on time and ready to be picked up.

All in all it just took 40 minutes to get something to eat there. Everything feels very unstructured and chaotic. Orders come via mobile, kiosk and normal channels. All the guests seemed annoyed and frustrated, some even disappeared after a certain wait.

Almost an hour waiting time, moderately crowded. There's hardly anything more that needs to be said... Complete disaster of the store

Unfortunately there are always long waiting times, but the food is always fresh and the employees are usually friendly. Update: The new system involves even more waiting time. Because you can order at the counter and also at the counter, there is total confusion there.

It's a subway with lots of seating options. It's nice and quiet on the second floor and the toilets are there too. Ordering system on the screen, like everywhere else. The food is of course delicious and the staff are friendly and patient. Sometimes you get asked the standard questions twice even though you said so just before, but I think that's normal - you'll get the hang of it at some point

We ordered at the terminal and although With only 5 guests and 3 employees present, we waited 24 minutes for 2 subs. The bread was almost black and very dry. The tables are all messed up with leftover food and sauce. Employees unfriendly and inattentive. First and last time in this branch.

Friendly staff, the subs are sometimes plentiful and sometimes more economical.

My order was completely converted by the machine and I didn't get what I ordered. Furthermore, hardly any sauce was used and the ingredients, which were already few, were poorly distributed. The only positive thing I can say was the chocolate chip cookie, which was really soft and delicious. In my opinion, however, it is still a poor example of a Subway.

Update 10/2024: been there for the second time, got a reasonable sub as ordered. Two competent employees. In Koblenz, on the other hand, apart from one employee (who feels uncomfortable), there are only incompetent employees. So in comparison, this is really good and premium. Unfortunately, the prices are also premium.

The cookie tasted like dough, it looked strange, it smelled strange, the taste was horrible. You can't offer something like that?! The sub tasted quite good. Some of the staff were untrained and didn't know what to do. The only experienced one was a young man who did everything quickly and neatly. We ordered on the device and no note came out, we stood there a bit lost and it took a while for someone to speak to us. When we ordered we had a small dark haired woman (please choose something else) She was constantly pushing the ingredients into the sub because she was standing there and didn't know what to do and the other one was busy and she needed help but didn't dare to wear full make-up, well, just dressed up... Then she forgot and mixed up ingredients just like our drink and our cookie.. The tables upstairs were very dirty, we didn't use the toilets and can't say anything about that Tried it once and it's enough.

I have nothing negative to say about the employees. So far everyone has always been friendly. It's also clear that there's no party going on when you enter the room :D The baguettes and salads were always ok. But a serious question: what do you do with the lattice potatoes? They are really inedible. The top boss should try it himself before offering it to customers! Indefinable consistency. Lukewarm, wobbly, not crispy at all and the worst taste in terms of taste. That definitely has to change and should somehow be possible for every snack bar. Until then, I'll give it a wide berth and order something else instead.

The service staff sometimes seem very annoyed

Today I got 2 multigrain baguettes for €24.75, rounded up to €25.00, when I went out she said loudly to her colleague that a 25 cent tip would be a joke... Sorry, next time there'll be nothing, because there is it's not a MUST... anyway it's way too expensive for that, I can get a menu somewhere else...

No nice staff, the subs took “years” to prepare, definitely anything but fast food

Actually always enjoyed being here, one of the best SubWays in the area. Since these ordering machines came into existence, nothing has worked here. It just increases the waiting time because it's harder for employees to read what's supposed to be on a board instead of the customer simply pointing at what they want... Absolutely inefficient

Centrally located in the industrial area, easily accessible. Parking spaces right in front of the door. Clean shop. I couldn't share the negative experiences of other guests today. Fast and friendly service, sub was prepared properly. Displays and refrigerators are neatly stocked. You can eat in peace in the upper area. Gladly again.

How customers are treated in the branch in Mühlheim-Kärlich. How unfriendly and listless the employees work there makes you lose your desire to eat... Apart from the way the ingredients just slap on... I'm deeply disappointed...

I don't rate the food and ambience here. If you're not interested in your job, you shouldn't do it. Asking guests what they want should be normal. It may be that the MA is new, but communication in general seems to be becoming more and more difficult. Next time I'll bring a written 3-step plan with me, then you don't have to communicate with the guest at all. Rarely have I been as angry as today. I didn't really see any teamwork between the two employees either. I'm sorry for my defiant reaction, but if I get the feeling that I'm worthless as a guest, I'll just leave.

We tried some subs that were new to us. Delicious. We love the subs. Food on hand on the way home, tasty, healthy, quick.

Small and cozy. Nice staff, but the parking situation is a bit difficult due to the adjacent gas station and the already difficult traffic in Mülheim-Kärlich. Otherwise everything was great.

Absolutely unfriendly employee. When I asked if there was bacon in a sub, she replied with annoyance that it would be in the name if it was. I tell her that I want to be sure and that's why I'm asking and that it's okay to ask, and she becomes even more unfriendly and annoyed. Some people just deserve whatever it comes from them. Absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately, a brown xenophobic attitude cannot be ruled out.

I've been there twice and know better Subway shops. The bread is too cold and dry for my taste and the cookies taste different, but I can't say what exactly. A pity!

So the food is good, so I can't complain, but the staff were so unusually unfriendly, I've never noticed that anywhere else. There wasn't much going on. There were only two of me and my colleague and the woman served us like we were dogs really crude. I'd rather drive a little further to another subway than go through something like that again

DAS WAR NIX. Die mobligi Frau Jona muss sich mit einem haufen nichtskönnern als "Mitarbeiter" rumschlagen muss. Das essen was dabei rauskommt schafft jedes Kleinkind Besser. Nie Wieder

Die Tische wurden nicht abgewischt, das Personal ist total unmotiviert und genervt. Dazu ist das Essen und die Getränke auch noch teuer. Muss ich nicht mehr haben.

Naja… insgesamt macht das Restaurant subjektiv einen sehr schmuddeligen Eindruck. Hinter der Theke die Behälter mit den Zutaten sehen ziemlich unappetitlich aus. Die Tische werden nicht abgewischt und der Boden…. Reden wir nicht drüber. Die beiden Jungs in der Zubereitung waren sehr lieb und bemüht, zum kassieren riefen sie dann aber eine Kollegin von hinten, die scheinbar selbst am Essen war, denn sie war am noch am Kauen. Währen sie kassierte bekam sie IHR Kind von einem Jungen Mann über die Theke gereicht, welches sie dann während des Kassierens auf dem Arm hatte. Ja es ist blöd wenn Mama arbeiten muss, aber ganz ehrlich den Kunden dann genervt abzufertigen weil man sein Kind auf dem Arm hat während der Arbeitszeit geht auch nicht. Das Sub war am Ende ganz lecker.

Sehr freundlich Mitarbeiter mit und trotz langer Schlange kommt man schnell drann. Subs sind auch gut belegt und fallen nicht auseinander. War jetzt schon ein paar mal da und war immer zufrieden.

Sehr gut geführter Laden ,Essen schmeckt super , es ist sauber dort , Personal kundenorientiert und Hunde sind willkommen!

Auf jeden Fall eine von den besseren Filialen. Mein SUB wurde schnell und ordentlich zubereitet. Allerdings musste ich bei jeder Zutat ( nach dem toasten)bitten, noch etwas mehr draufzulegen. Ob es Unwissenheit war, oder hier versucht wird zu sparen, kann ich nicht genau sagen. Eigentlich gibt es ja feste Vorgaben, wie viel der jeweiligen Zutat drauf kommt. Ein wenig unverschämt ist übrigens die Portionsgröße der Potatoes als Beilage. Dazu dann noch 60cent für nen Klecks Sauce. Geschmeckt hat es mit ein wenig Hilfe meinerseits dann aber trotzdem.

Absolut empfehlenswert, die Bedienungen sind sehr nett, es gibt genügende Sitzplätze und die sind auch noch sehr gemütlich

Schnell wie gewünscht, da ausreichend Personal da war. Lecker wie erwartet. Ambiente der Tankstelle entsprechend.

Sub des Tages ist wie immer echt günstig, mega zubereitet und das Duo an der Theke ist mega. Total sympathisch die Jungs die da arbeiten und großzügig mit den Zutaten sind sie auch, also alles in allem absolut Top!

Ein super nettes Personal und leckere Speisen. Hier komme ich gerne vorbei. Auch die Sauberkeit ist gut. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es aber für die Parkplatzsituation.

Wir waren heute hier und haben ein Sub des Tages und ein Tuna Sub bestellt. Wir waren beide mehr als positiv überrascht, wie zuvorkommen und freundlich die Mitarbeiter waren! Das waren seit langem Servicekräfte, die ganz genau wissen, was Kundenzufriedenheit bedeutet. Selbst wenn das Essen nicht 100% geschmeckte hätte (hat es aber) wären wir wegen dem Personal wieder gekommen! Danke für die sympathische Bedienung. Ihr habt eine Gehaltserhöhung mehr als verdient. Subway ? So Mitarbeiter muss man mit allen Mitteln halten ! 🙏💝

Subway typische gute Qualität. Der Bestellvorgang lief zügig ab, der Bezahlvorgang hat ein wenig gedauert, da die Mitarbeiterin an der Kasse gleichzeitig für Nachschub in der Frischetheke sorgen musste.

Waren heute dort was zu essen holen. Dort war eine Sandwich Macherin die der Hammer war. Super Beratung/Empfehlungen (bin immer etwas überfordert) und das ganze mit Charm, Witz und überragender Freundlichkeit. Alleine dafür nochmal 5 Sterne drauf
