Super fresh, delicious food, a great selection, a lovely atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. We would be happy to come back for any occasion. Highly recommended.

Today we went to the Gourmet Temple with 4 people for dinner. The ambience is appealing and invites you to linger. The selection of dishes is enormous and there is something for every taste. The sushi selection made my heart beat faster and the dessert selection took you to seventh heaven. A highlight is the huge chocolate fountain. Overall, we can only recommend the restaurant.

The quantities of different types of food are positive, whether soups, meat, fish, vegetables, starters, desserts, cakes, drinks. Everything all you can eat. 2 1/2 hours time, then a serve. Table reservation is good. I can't judge just going there because it's big and crowded. What bothered me was the atmosphere, it was too crowded for me, it's just mass processing and that's why there's so much Create spaces as possible. For me it was a worthwhile experience. I think there aren't enough parking spaces in the industrial area during business hours and you have to look around. Service if you ask something are helpful but otherwise stressful.

We were in the restaurant yesterday – everything was great! Everything was clean and the food tasted very tasty. What I personally was missing: music in the background. Slow jazz would go very well with the stylish ambience and make the atmosphere even cozier.😉

So I can't understand the negative recommendations. Yes, the parking situation is tense because the store is extremely full. This is due to the Russian audience, which is represented in large numbers. I eat here with my partner at least once a month and I am very satisfied with the food in combination with the price-performance comparison. The big bonus is the drinks package.

Absolutely recommended. We were there today, May 1st, 2025, right at 11:30 a.m. Everything was freshly prepared. A feast for the eyes and palate as always. If you come close to closing time, you don't have to complain. If you don't come at the right time, you have to eat what's left 😉

5 stars – visit on April 29, 2025, 6:30 p.m., table 14 Our visit to the Gourmet Tempel Mülheim-Kärlich was a complete success! The service was really outstanding - it's rare to see such a dedicated, friendly waiter. The food was very good, with only minimal compromises, which is understandable given an all-you-can-eat concept and keeping the food warm. The selection is huge: from sushi to freshly prepared warm dishes to an impressive selection of desserts including a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit - there really is something for everyone here. We also found the large selection of drinks particularly positive, including bottled beers, draft spirits, juices and wines - all included! The location is great with plenty of parking right in front of the door. Conclusion: A great evening, we will definitely be back!

Food was really very good and the selection was huge

For €35 you can eat and drink as much as you want. The range of drinks is very good. The food is, hmm, it definitely has nothing to do with gourmet. Everything is neatly draped. Half of the food is breaded. It's not cooked with love. Money is saved on spices. The sauces are off the shelf. Meat has the same quality as in a fast food restaurant. Tried to talk to several employees. Unfortunately, hardly anyone spoke German. The woman at the checkout was very nice. The majority of the staff were friendly, but unfortunately that's of little use to me when I have questions for the chef about preparing plates that I've put together myself and they just don't get anywhere due to communication problems. Conclusion: If you like good food, look for another shop. If you want to fill your stomach until you vomit and don't place any demands on quality, you're in good hands here.

If you have to go through a brutal overload of food again, then here at the Gourmet Temple. The name says it all. It's abnormal how much good and, above all, delicious food there is here. After the last time there was a gout attack 😄😄 but it was worth it to me.. hahaha.. But the staff is also well organized and friendly. I really enjoy being here, even though sometimes it gets really chaotic due to large crowds... but you can control that.

2.5 hours all inclusive for 35.00 per adult. Including all drinks. However, spirits are exclusive. Food quality cannot be complained about. Everything fresh and delicious. Sushi OK for the price. I looked for tuna in vain. Salmon, swordfish, squid were all there. It's all self-service, but it's constantly being cleared away. Staff silent but friendly. Unfortunately a bit remote for me (!), but still worth a visit! Very happy again!

Hello, I've been eating here again for a long time. I know back when the store opened it was a very well-kept store. You can no longer say that the Sunday evening buffet is just the last and biggest rip-off for a great price of 40 euros per person. Food cold, partly raw, meat is like a rag cold and soggy, partly the food is floating in oil and is burnt. Everything is empty when you ask if something new is coming, you always say in 5 minutes and again for 5 minutes. I'm almost starving in her 5 minutes. When opening the dessert, the protective container is broken and temporarily covered with tape, but nevertheless it is sharp and you could cut yourself. Service, well, I felt like I was in the middle of Ukraine, the waitresses were wearing sweatpants and were very unfriendly. The German language doesn't work in this shop, it's better to explain everything you want with your finger. Plates were dirty, glasses were completely scratched. I'm an animal lover but I think dogs have no place in a restaurant, especially where people are eating. Really sad, this used to be a very good, tasty shop. Now it's a Ukrainian hangout with bad behavior. If you don't believe me, look at the pictures or see for yourself (but I wouldn't recommend it!)

Unfortunately, the food was very cold, and the grill buffet also arrived cold, very disappointed for the price. If necessary, the toilets should be wiped every now and then, it was very borderline. But the ambience is good in itself. Sometimes it would be desirable to have a little less selection, but with acceptable quality.

Good but very crowded. Food was really OK for a buffet for so many people and drinking as an all you can drink was also good. The ambience was just mass-produced - going out for a romantic meal isn't that :). I can recommend the cake, which is very good.

The food itself is quite good for a buffet. The selection is gigantic and the drinks included in the all-you-can-eat menu make it different from other similar restaurants. Unfortunately, the thing is so big that it resembles pure mass processing. The atmosphere is quite nice, but on the way to the buffet you usually walk past service stations where dirty dishes and leftover food are piled up. Unfortunately, the woman at reception is also very cold and not really friendly.

I think the selection there is really good. There is a bit of sushi but also plenty of fried foods and others :) I think everyone will find something here :D Desserts are also available. The staff clears up very quickly. I think the price is reasonable for the amount of time you get etc. + the price also includes drinks. (I think there was also wine but I'm not sure if it's free) If you read my review and want to take a baby with you - high chairs are available. But my friend couldn't find that much food for her child. She was hoping for more, maybe some vegetables etc. But in the end the child didn't have to go hungry😂. Will definitely come again :) The only negative point that I don't think you can avoid -> it's loud and a bit too warm after a while

Disgusting and not worth the money! I went there today for the all-you-can-eat meal (€70 for two people) and I'm totally disappointed. The food was only lukewarm and not fresh. The worst part was the baked banana – it tasted rotten and was so disgusting that I immediately spat it out. When I complained, I was told it was "normal" – an absolute disgrace! For that price, I expect quality, not food that spoils your appetite. Never again!

It is a typical restaurant of this type. The dishes are numerous and tasty, the service is normal. You can park directly at the restaurant. If you are interested in this type of temple, you will find a good location here.

Absolutely horrible. The food was very, very bad. The Mongolian grill burned everything and prepared it absolutely poorly. The buffet was beyond substandard. The restrooms were a disgrace. The health department has been informed and will hopefully close this place down soon. This has nothing to do with gourmet, even a snack bar.

One star is even too many. Catastrophic. The food is cold. The salads are an imposition. Disappointed at its finest. Never again. The food tastes as if it had been sitting in the boxes for days.

Price-performance is outstanding... You can eat here with the whole family with a clear conscience. For the kids there is even a gripper arm machine where you always win. The sushi was also very good there. :p

We were there on a Saturday, there were a lot of guests, the waiter tried hard to clean everything up, high praise. Food with a large selection. Personally I think the price includes drinks.... After a year there again. Unfortunately the quality of food has changed very badly. Of course €35 per person with drinks is a good price. But the quality and taste used to be much, much better! Except for the employees who clear up, no one else has a smile on their face or greets guests, no music in the room, it means no windows are open, also pretty bad air, with a lot of people...it's a real shame. Absolute mass production... We have to wait 45 minutes for our live cocking... And then it was inedible.... The beef was more like shoe soles... Many dishes are cold.... Absolutely bad reservation on a Saturday at 8 p.m., hardly any choice, no cutlery, table still dirty, no glasses, no coffee spoons nothing!! It looked like a battlefield! When we said something, all we said at the front was that it was Saturday and there was a lot going on. Never go there again for the last time!

Mass, mass, middle class. What unspeakable mass processing. We are currently at the Saturday evening buffet, it is full, loud and anything but comfortable. I don't have to repeat it, especially since the food is just okay.

The Gourmet Temple is highly recommended, but it is simply too crowded on weekends. Furthermore, desserts (cakes) are often still frozen. Unfortunately, there are also guests who go back to the buffet with used plates - this is an absolute NO-GO. Of course, these are the individual people who are responsible for this, but I also see the staff as having a duty to keep an eye on it. Unfortunately, simple signs are not enough for some guests. Behavior, consideration and decency are required from each individual, but also staff who "protect" guests who behave correctly. That's certainly what you can expect, even with these per capita prices.

Unfortunately the evening buffet was a lot lower, price was 35.00 euros for almost the same selection of dishes as in the afternoon, unfortunately the taste was also better, maybe it was on the wrong day.

The buffet price includes 2 drinks, which I think is very good. The selection at the buffet is okay, and in the evening you can have things freshly fried. The food tastes okay too. The service is very attentive and clears used dishes from the table, but also asks beforehand whether you are ready. Good selection of drinks and the buffet is regularly replenished. The atmosphere is more reminiscent of a huge canteen, unfortunately I don't like it at all. This means that, depending on where you sit, you have to walk a long way to the buffet.

I can't understand some of the reviews here and some of them (points deducted for lack of traffic in the parking lot, etc.) made me laugh out loud. By the way, you should always remember that this is a buffet restaurant!! The menus are not prepared individually and so it can (but should not) happen in extremely rare cases that you get something that is a bit colder. The choice is almost endless. I always enjoy coming here and have even had a private party here and I and all my guests have always been very satisfied. The selection is plentiful and the food is very tasty. Ambiance is stylish and modern. Prices are fair.

Mass instead of class: This restaurant is living proof why all-you-can-eat is usually the worse choice. The service is non-existent, apart from clearing the tables there is no interaction whatsoever. The ambience is fine, the tables are clean, but the aisles are too narrow. The quality of the food is subpar, nothing is really seasoned, the meat (e.g. duck, chicken, beef) is usually overcooked or has been in the containers for so long that it becomes dry on its own. The Mongolian grill offers a wide range of options, but here too the meat and side dishes were left on the grill for so long that the beef became the sole of a shoe and the vegetables (soy and normal beans) were no longer available (at most as crispy chips). We definitely won't be coming back any time soon. The only positive thing about this restaurant: the all-you-can drink includes beer 👍🏻

Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly over time. The food was almost cold and some of it didn't taste good. The employees don't know "hello" or "please or thank you" or "goodbye". I almost apologized to the woman at the checkout for disturbing me because she swore so badly. We will probably dine elsewhere in the future

Price is not worth 35€ dinner bufet

Two stars, but only for one reason: beer flat rate. Total chaos, I didn't particularly like the food, loud.

We have to drive a little further, but it's worth it. Huge selection, very tasty and everything is clean. Perfect for both families and groups. Simply great! We keep coming back. Clear recommendation!

Rarely eaten badly!!!!! It now resembles a pig fattening kitchen. The dishes are extremely poorly prepared, everything tastes the same and has tons of glutamate. Sanitary facilities are terrible! No paper, no soap for both men and women. Extremely overcrowded and you can't get food at the buffet because of a queue. It takes up to 10 minutes to get to it. I was there at the very beginning when it opened, it really impressed us all, but now no quality and no service. For the money you can get good food from the menu in every Chinese restaurant. So if you want to spend a nice evening with the family, this is absolutely the wrong place for you. It's a real shame, they don't value their customers here!

Food delicious. You can also go there without a reservation. You will be given a table number at the entrance. Grilled food is brought to the table. You have 2.5 hours to eat, drink and chat. You have to pay additional money for each additional one. For 35 eu in the week evening buffet all you can eat, where the drinks are included, you can't say anything. Parking is difficult. Because many people also park their cars and go to the model houses or something else. Then it will be difficult to park there.

Currently the best restaurant for us!

We were here on Sundays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. It was pleasantly quiet and not overcrowded. The lady at reception assigned us a table and there was enough food. It is constantly being refilled. Very rich food that you can put together yourself, but there is a deduction for the fact that the grill plate makes too much at once, so I didn't get my food as stated. 2 times ! My wife's food came properly but after more than 30 minutes. Well, you can't have everything. Otherwise nice place. But 35 euros is already one word per person.

Price performance top. Little parking for the number of tables. There is plenty of choice in the food and it tastes delicious too.

I have had severe diarrhea for 2 days, more than 20 times a day. I strongly recommend not going there if your... is important to you. No fun. All you have to do is filter the reviews here for the word “diarrhea” and you’ll see what great food they have there.

We spontaneously ate there for the first time today. Were there around 4:00 p.m. for about 2 hours. The restaurant was well attended and therefore very relaxed and quiet. There was plenty of choice at the buffet. Food was tasty, so I can't say anything negative.

We had the evening buffet with the BBQ all you can eat & drink for 35 euros. The price is completely ok for the huge offer. The selection leaves nothing to be desired and everything was always fresh. The selection for the BBQ, which is freshly prepared according to individual selection, is also great. The selection of drinks (all self-service) is also very large. The cleanliness of the restaurant is very good, used plates are cleared away quickly. Due to the size of the rooms, a train station atmosphere quickly arises, but there are also visually separated areas everywhere We will definitely come back.

We were there on New Year's Eve and had a reservation for 5 people and a dog for 8 p.m. There's chaos in the entrance area. Approx. 50 people We wanted to go in. There was endless crowding and an overwhelmed reception. Then we were assigned our table using a piece of paper to search for. Finally at the table, which had just been cleared. Then we went to the buffet, where the guests stood in rows of three to get their food. It was terrible to get something there and after 20 minutes I finally got hold of a lukewarm Peking soup. And so it went on. We will definitely not visit the gourmet temple on days like this again. The toilets were a disaster. The guests are also to blame. Pee on the floor etc.

I've been there several times personally and always enjoyed it. This time we started our Christmas party there. The selection, quality and service were impeccable and as usual. What I actually didn't like at all was the table that was right at the entrance, which meant we were constantly sitting on the train, it smelled of smoke and it was constantly cold. Without a reservation, we always had better tables or a more comfortable seating area, without smoke and cold.

As always, a huge selection of diverse, freshly prepared dishes awaited us, even shrimp, mussels and fish. What sets this restaurant apart from other Asian buffets is that a large selection of drinks from juices to beer and coffee are also included in self-service. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good.

Unfortunately it's very full on the weekend, which puts a bit of strain on the staff. When grilling, the second plate was suddenly missing.

We had a Christmas party there with the company, the selection at the buffet was good and tasty. Anyone who wants and can eat a lot is well served there.

The food there is mediocre to simple, at least at the buffet. Unfortunately, a few hours later there were 4 of us who had upset stomachs and one of us felt sick. (What does that say?) So unfortunately no recommendation, sorry. One positive thing to mention is that the clearing service was very accommodating.

We were there on a Thursday at lunchtime and were, as always, looking forward to the food as we had already eaten there a few times. However, the food was only lukewarm to cold and the scariest thing was that there was a beetle in my noodles. In the end, the drink dispensers didn't work either, so we didn't have anything to drink. Something like that is simply not possible for the high prices. Next time we'll think twice about eating here again. Too bad.

As so often, we had dinner today on December 24th with 9 people. Many were looking forward to their favorite meal. But unfortunately a lot was missing or was replaced by something else. Many of the dishes were only lukewarm and I recommend that everyone leave the restaurant before anyone has to go to the toilet. There shouldn't be anything like that in such an expensive restaurant. Disgusting. Completely different restaurant than 6 months ago.

There were a lot of dishes missing that were plentiful on previous visits. We also all had severe diarrhea and stomach cramps afterwards. Unfortunately, we refrain from visiting the Gourmet Temple again.

It's expensive but it's worth it. No waiting, lots of choice. Nobody else has that many drinks. Juices, beers, wines or even standard drinks as well as freshly made latte macchiato or coffee - all inclusive. The chocolate fountain is also great... Really delicious

Quantity instead of class We were there on a Friday evening and there were still a good half of the restaurant's tables available. Absolute problem, first of all getting the food because the queue takes forever and getting the product you want is impossible. For 35€ it was a disgrace, the rice wasn't cooked after 8 p.m. I didn't get any more, basically it's over at 8 p.m. After that the pack can only eat the leftovers. It was incredibly loud, there were children running around everywhere and now I can understand why there are restaurants that ban children! My daughter sits quietly at the table and eats! The children run into you at the table without consideration and play ball between the tables, unbelievable! Back to the food, everything was spicy, as if a pepper box had been dropped, I can only comment on the baked one, as I didn't get anything else. But the people sitting next to us at the table tended to grimace as they ate. If you want to come with a dog, then let the animal love it, the children running around, the loud level, is simply not possible. All in all, it's designed for you to drink a lot and eat little, I'm so disappointed because I spent €89 for 2 people with a child. Just drink what’s in the bottles! The one from the dispenser tasted very strange.

It was way too full. You had to wait in line to pay. Same thing at the buffet. Way too full. After you finally got back to the table to eat, the food was cold. The food was ok. Wouldn't go there again .Then it's better to go to a nice, cozy restaurant.

Food is really delicious!!!! We had all you can eat and unfortunately at some point you get full. The only small criticism is that it is incredibly crowded and therefore very loud and the air is bad. We will come again.
