I'd give it zero stars, but I have to give one! The sub was ice cold again! Then there were only three types of bread available! I didn't get any change when paying with cash (apparently they didn't have any change—> maybe the store owner should provide their employees with enough change!!!!!!) And then, to top it all off, they had the nerve to say they only accept card payments! On top of that, one of the employees was playing on his phone while the groceries were sitting in front of him. That was the last time I'll be at that branch!

This was my second time at Subway. I was a bit nervous about the reviews, so I have to say, though. Everything was fine. They asked me about the toppings, and even when I had questions about the sauces, they answered nicely. It wasn't super friendly, but I don't expect more than that when it's busy. When I paid, I had a Telekom voucher for a 15cm sub, and it went through without a hitch. The atmosphere at the main station in general leaves a bit to be desired, but that's certainly not the fault of this Subway.

Phew, really not good. The chicken teriyaki sub was practically cold and barely edible. The area outside the store smells strongly of urine, and overall, it's just not a pleasant experience. In fact, it's the worst Subway I've been to anywhere in the world.

The sub was good. It was busy, but it still came quickly. Unfortunately, the bread wasn't baked for long enough, so it was still light, and some ingredients were out (at 4 p.m.), such as cheddar cheese, onions, yogurt sauce, and honey mustard sauce. That seems like a lot to me. I'm a long-time Subway customer and have eaten at several locations. This location at the main station still has some room for improvement.

Incompetent staff. I wanted to redeem the Telekom Moments offer for a free 15cm Subway. After scanning the code, and with the conditions being clear in the coupon, the staff wanted to charge me the other half of a big sandwich claiming that this is how it is.. Furthermore, already at 18:15 they ran out of almost every ingredient and sauce.

I was at the Hauptbahnhof Subway a few days ago and was craving a sub. Since you should also give a review when you enjoyed something and not always just say bad things, here's a shout-out to the employee "Mr. Bartek." It was lunchtime—it was extremely busy, and a long line had formed. Subway is known for its fast service, allowing you to quickly grab a sandwich between trips and then catch another connection. I doubt this Subway, however, was informed about this. If you order an Italian BMT, they ask what kind of meat you want on it and then choose the vegetables themselves. Apparently, among the eight different sauces to choose from, it's very difficult to find the sweet onion. What a slow, unfriendly, and unprofessional bunch. Not recommended!

The employees were extremely disorganized and spoke virtually no German, which made ordering significantly more difficult. Furthermore, the wait times between individual steps were far too long, so that the subs got cold before they were even filled. There was only a limited salad selection, and coupons weren't honored. Overall, a really bad experience. The staff should be better trained in the future to correctly calculate coupons and points in the cash register system. Additionally, communication with customers and between employees should be improved.

You wait in line for ages, and when your sub is finally in the oven, they leave it for 10 minutes so it cools down nice and cold again. When you've finally had your sub topped, you wait another 10 minutes before you can pay. The vouchers and points from the app are deducted but not credited. You pay a minimum of €9 for a 15cm sub. No extras (just the usual toppings). The selection is terrible. After you mention it, they offer you free cookies, but there's no real solution, and you don't get your app points back.

As a long-time Subway customer, I was really disappointed with my visit to the branch today. The employees were extremely unfriendly, which left a very unpleasant feeling. During preparation, another person - apparently not an employee - entered the kitchen and preparation area. She wore street clothes, did not wash her hands, and yet moved freely near the groceries. I don't know the exact hygiene requirements, but behavior like this definitely doesn't leave you feeling good. Instead of customer orientation, the focus of those present was on private conversations and exchanging content on their cell phones. This is not how I imagine professional customer service. I am really disappointed and will think twice about visiting this branch again.

After we entered the store hungry, we were warmly greeted. But then we went to order the bread, where we unfortunately found out that there were only 3 loaves left in total. This absurdity was then celebrated by an employee with the words “End of work, brother”. If there's one thing to give them credit for, it's that they didn't skimp on the bread. Unfortunately, Hassan and his boys had quite a bit of trouble when it came to using the Subway app's discount codes. For a family menu that was supposed to cost €17.99, we paid an unbelievable €24.30. The dear gentleman said there was no other way and so for the second order we had to pay €6.99 instead of €5 as stated in the app. When it came time to eat, we unfortunately discovered that our subs were poorly or not at all cut and they were also half falling apart.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other posters Subway is just awesome but in the main station there is zero competence, all foreigners who don't know German if SUB has anything to do with the name and especially in Berlin Metropole then pays more and hires decent staff. 👍

The staff is very unfriendly and frivolous. I am very confused and do not understand anything about the offer they have, nor about the prices. The employees will not explain anything and they hate to work. The sandwiches are not bad, but for that price you expect something much better. Half a sandwich costs 7 euros, and one whole sandwich costs about 13 euros.

I can understand why a lot of other people have written bad reviews here, but I actually have a very positive experience to report. The subway at Berlin main station is a little different than all other subways, I admit that. Most of the employees don't speak German very well, so I would simply recommend that you bring a little more time. But if you have a little patience, the staff is really friendly and the atmosphere there is really funny, it's just a Berlin subway ;) Service was a 10/10 for me and the sub had plenty of toppings and the mozzarella that they have there was there I haven't seen it anywhere else! Wish this was everywhere.

Subway does not accept vouchers, although the website says they do. If you ask politely, you only get an unfriendly answer that it can't be done because that's what the boss thinks. Clear excuse other customers had the same problem on other days.

Staff is very rude!!!!! Worst experience ever. Don't ever go here. The guy taking order missbehaved very badly with us. We nicely greeted hello and were giving over order, he said get out and he started screaming because we didn't knew his name. How will we know his name there was no name plate also. This was very rude and unacceptable behavior. I will never go to this place again ever. Subway should not employee people like this. Unacceptable.

I had a coupon from the Subway app, in which the branch at the HBF was also listed as a participating branch. But I had to have a lot of discussions on site to get this coupon recognized. Afterwards, the staff spoke to each other in a language I can't speak, but it was obvious that they were talking about me, which unfortunately wasn't a pleasant experience. But the food was fine as always.

One of the worst rated subways I know. Today I know why. Employees unfriendly. I wanted to redeem a voucher in the Subway app and received an unfriendly message asking me how to do it. This is a private subway and you don't take part in such nonsense. It's best to avoid it.

The refrigerated counter was dirty and the ingredients for the sandwich were placed carelessly and unsightly. An employee who appeared to be the branch manager was extremely unfriendly to both customers and his employees. I was really looking forward to the foot long cookie, which was supposedly sold out - an employee later explained that this cookie was never baked, even though it was advertised in the store.

We ate here today and for the price we got really mushy bread and the people at the counter kept saying "huh" instead of asking "please" why we didn't really enjoy the food and felt a bit insulted.

Unfortunately, this is truly the worst Subway I've ever been to. Coupons aren't accepted, and the employees are poorly trained (but at least they're super friendly). The food is a disaster! I felt sick for hours; it might have been from the day before or even older. I won't go here anymore, even though I live right around the corner.

Previously, this Subway was fine. Unfortunately, ordering kiosks were added. At first, you were politely reminded to use them. But it wasn't mandatory, and you could order at the counter as usual, partly because the kiosks frequently broke down. Now, however, ordering at the kiosk has become mandatory. The counter windows are taped over with a large notice to use the kiosks to order. This makes it impossible to determine the freshness of the ingredients. That makes sense at some fast-food restaurants, but not at Subway, where you're constantly in contact with the employee regarding the ingredients. This wastes both the customer's and the employee's time, and the long slip printed out for each order is, on top of that, environmental pollution and an unnecessary waste of resources. I won't be coming back for a while.
