Subway in Berlin

Unfortunately, an incredibly bad subway experience! From the very beginning, the service was very unfriendly, and they charged a higher price, not to mention the toilets… although you could turn a blind eye to that if the service and the food quality were good enough :(

It didn't taste good, and a sandwich was missing. The churros were soggy, and the chocolate sauce was also missing.

I love Subway but that was the dirtiest Subway I've ever seen

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I had to wait over ten minutes for half a sandwich, even though there were only two customers in the store and two employees present. This suggests that either there wasn't enough training or the processes simply didn't work. When I finally got the sandwich, it was already cold. It must have been taken out of the oven and then just left there until someone handed it to me. Overall, poor service and definitely not what you'd expect from a fast-food joint.

Contrary to the many negative reviews, we had a good experience. We were here on the weekend, and it was busy. The salesperson, Brendan, was very keen to process all orders quickly and accept deliveries. He was the only one on shift, but despite the crowds, he was very friendly – he even spoke German, as that seems to be relevant for so many people. Our bread was crispy and the vegetables were fresh. All in all, delicious! :) The store management should have the ventilation/air conditioning system checked as soon as possible. It was 29 degrees outside and was supposed to get even warmer. We were sitting there, already sweating from the heat; it's hard to imagine what it must be like for the employees who work directly in front of the oven and are constantly moving around.

I ate there with my boyfriend today, and unfortunately, our visit was anything but satisfactory. The bread was extremely dry and crumbly, seemed old, and was very hard—definitely not fresh. The chicken had a very unpleasant, artificial taste, strongly reminiscent of new plastic wrap—absolutely unappetizing. In addition, the cleanliness of the store could have been improved significantly. The tables were dirty and hadn't been cleaned during our visit. The staff—two employees—were mostly preoccupied with their cell phones instead of focusing on hygiene or service. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this store.

Food is good and also staff is well behavioural. But the whole subway to hot and no air-conditioning system.

They were opened till 22.00. We came at 21:00 but worker said that they are already closed.

Closes at 9 PM, although it's supposed to close online at 10 PM. They don't speak German.

Dude, how can it be that no one here speaks German? We're at the Brandenburg Gate in the German capital! The entire sub was wrong, and the operators don't know what they're offering.

Employees have zero German skills and mumble so loudly that you can't understand them. Employees don't wear gloves and often touch their noses. They barely understand English either. Worst Subway in all of Berlin.

Preferably 0 stars. I ordered at the self-order terminal and never do that. I sat down, paid €30, and got bread and sauce. I was shocked; I've never eaten such a careless and understated sub, ever. I'll never go there again, and the staff forgot the extra cheese I paid for €1.49. Instead of making it again because the cheese should have melted, she asked in English if she should reheat it with salad and sauce. That was €30!!!! Disastrous, I'll just say.

Not exactly comfortable, but what subway is that? Completely okay for eating the very tasty sandwich/sub (!)

Be careful with them!!!! They are unpresentable!!! They have the obligation to keep the establishment open until 11 p.m. But now it's just after 10 p.m. and they have already closed!!!!! How little seriousness this chain has!!!

The staff are rude and can't communicate clearly, either in German or in English. Also, the food now is in the junk category. It used to be much better.

Don't trust the opening times, wanted to go out for something to eat late in the evening, but the opening hours of supposedly until 11:30 p.m. were completely wrong. The branch closed before 10 p.m. Impudence!!!!

Disaster, food for the price of the daily menu in an ordinary restaurant, but in the quality of the worst fast food. I have never eaten worse chips. They were maybe a week old and rubbery. Fresh baguettes.

The sign says Footlong 9.99, I paid 11.29. The cashier answered my question very rudely and said it wasn't his problem that the boss hadn't changed the prices on the board yet. So that was the last time.

I've been ordering here for years and have always been very satisfied. Put it in the toaster for a moment and it will be nice and warm again.

Incredible cheek. Just ordered there via Uber Eats - the size of the taco beef salad for 7 euros is the biggest joke I've ever ordered. I always go to other Subways and the salad sizes are fair but this is just a rip off. Hands off

This subway was terrible, they ingredients were so cheap like 1 piece of pickle, couple pieces of olive, 3 pieces of lettuce etc... The sandwich was so bad my 4 year old took two bites and said icky (i like not) its unreal and they people working there just looked like they wanted to go home, i imagine a job at Subway is not the most exciting job in the world but wow apply for another job than? World wide this has to be the worst subway sandwich experience and I've probably been to over 100 of them. You guys need to do a serious evaluation of your business model and people you hire to train, no wonder Subways are going down like flies, do you want to hire me as your new CEO national management?

Mixed experience at Subway Friedrichstraße. The sandwich itself was okay, but there were communication issues. The staff member assembled my sandwich without letting me choose the ingredients, which goes against the usual Subway experience. When I asked about a specific sauce, I received no response before it was added to my sandwich. There seemed to be a language barrier, which would have been fine if acknowledged - we could have found another way to communicate. The lack of customer input in the sandwich-making process was disappointing.

Worst subway I’ve ever been to lol, asked for lots of olives on my subway. Got a total of 3 olives. Asked again, got a whole 2 olives added. Wtf ? Barely anything put on the subway, asked multiple times for extra, put like 2 pieces of extra lettuce??? All I could taste was bread, terrible. Barely any fries in medium fries.

It was very tasty and the store manager was very nice and even gave us a free cookie

Worst subway sandwich I've ever had. The chicken tasted spoiled and the sandwich was barely full, thinnest sandwich I've ever had. Horrible.

They have never gotten a single order right! Everytime i give them the benefit of doubt and they screw up a simple order of what vegetables to add and what sauce to add! Either hire competent staff that can read and follow instructions or shut down the branch! Spoils my lunch and mood every time and never answer their phone!

The employees can neither speak German nor English and are completely overwhelmed. That was the second time I was there. Unfortunately it hasn't improved. They also only put a little on the bread and you have to point out to them that you want more…. But the food is good.

They were totally rude and you could tell that they didn't want to do this work. They didn't recommend anything either. So their handling of the food was also borderline. And it tasted like it was 2-3 days old.

Order the 2 for 1 on Wolt. One of the sandwiches was completely wrong. Both sandwiches were stuffed with so little that actually you could fit it all in just one sandwich. There was so little chicken and other ingredients that it’s just like you’re eating bread. Never buying again! STAY AWAY

nice place, no one around at lunchtime on a Wednesday. The bun is a bit hard and has clearly stale, so that’s a minus. Devour - just right.

Juice shop: Write on your stupid website if you don't have anything left to eat.

Drinks subject to a deposit are sold, the deposit is also collected, but unfortunately they refuse to take the bottles back and pay out the deposit. The justification was “we don’t have a deposit machine” (No Machine!). In my opinion, it was probably illegal but definitely unfriendly to customers. No further visits on my part! (08/14/2014 - 7:00 p.m.)

Air conditioning broken, no soap in the toilets, deposit money is not paid out, bad German at the checkout. It couldn't be worse and I will definitely never set foot in this store again.

Everything fine but closing early when there is customers at door, in fact just happened to me right now.

The fries didn't taste good at all, totally soggy and almost cold. Sandwiches however very good. Unfortunately, card payment was not possible, so they didn't want to tell us why, the necessary equipment seemed to be available.

Delicious sandwich. Unfortunately the sub of the day offers have been abolished. There were three to four other cheap offers, although you can't choose all the ingredients yourself. At most you can do without one ingredient. I discovered this branch recently and it is clean. There are plenty of seats inside. Very central. Friendly staff.

Fewer vegetables than ever before. Today I had 2 small slices of tomatoes, cucumber and a leaf of lettuce in my sandwich. Incredibly little. I've never had anything like this at Subway, hence one star.

This restaurant is completely full of incompetent and unmotivated employees. We ordered a daily sub. This was incorrectly assigned by the team and billed as the wrong sub. The sandwich artist couldn't distinguish between the types of bread either. We were initially overcharged. We were told which sub we originally wanted and then it was corrected. A 30 cm daily sub is not 2 x €3.49, but well over €7. The team leader there (?, black shirt??) was talking on the phone very loudly in Hindi or Arabic on the loudspeaker at the table with a female voice. A MacBook and charging cables were scattered across one of the guest tables. The tables weren't wiped down and the staff barely spoke German. All in all a place not recommended. I will never come again. By the way, receipts are not available upon request.

Baguette cold. Service was more than unfriendly and extremely listless.

The worst subway ever! I wanted a salad and was asked three times to choose a bread. I also looked into questioning eyes when choosing the plant-based version. The next employee was also visibly overwhelmed with the “salad” request! When I also told her that I wanted a salad here and not a sandwich, she just smiled awkwardly at me and waited for her colleague. The boss then also commented that my colleague had warmed up too much of the food for me and only half of it was dumped into the salad in front of me - so it's better to throw away food than give it to the customer! Absolutely terrible. It was also scary with the customers next to me who needed a competent and safe answer due to allergens and the boss's statements were demonstrably false and therefore an absolute danger for allergy sufferers!

I am always well served in this branch. I always feel very welcome. Even with “demanding” customers, the employees remain professional. I was always happy to answer any questions or requests and the sanitary facilities were also well maintained.

Incredibly unfriendly service (January 31, 5:30 p.m.), far too few ingredients used and she forgot parts of the order for several customers. Wouldn't like to order here again.

Batek hat eine Gehaltserhöhung verdient! Wir kammen in den Laden und fühlten uns direkt willkommen. Extrem kurze Wartezeit und super Bedienung sind nur eine Empfehlung wert!

Ich habe mir hier ein Chicken Teriyaki Foot Long Sandwich bestellt, und die Lieferung hat über Uber Eats ganze 70 Minuten gedauert. Leider muss ich sagen, dass der Geschmack des Sandwichs bei Weitem nicht so gut war wie im Restaurant. Allerdings kann ich keinen direkten Vergleich mit diesem speziellen Subway-Laden vor Ort ziehen, da ich dort noch nie gegessen habe.

Ich denke die Fotos von der Herrentoilette sprechen für sich. Ich würde es niemanden empfehlen dort hinzugehen. Ansonsten, alles was meine Vorredner angmerkt haben. Einfach ein Unding und nicht nur bei meinem Besuch so.

Leckere Subs wie immer, leider nur immer wieder mal ein Stück teurer. Mir hat auch der alte Stil auf den Anzeigemonitoren besser gefallen, wo man jeden SubBelag bildlich sehen konnte und nicht nur in textform. Das hat die Entscheidung immer leichter gemacht, vor allem wenn man nicht regelmäßig zu Subway geht und oder immer die gleichen Subs isst.

Ich hatte etwas über die App bestellt zum abholen. Es kann doch nicht wahr sein, dass die einfach Brot benutzen, was mehrere Tage alt ist. Siehe Bild. Ich habe das reklamiert. Die haben mir nichts wieder erstattet oder ein neues belegt. Die Mitarbeiter in diesem Laden waren sehr sehr unfreundlich. Die Mitarbeiter können kein Wort Deutsch und Englisch Ich hoffe, dass Subway hier auf meine Bewertung reagiert.

Mi è piaciuto il posto, informale e accogliente, buon cibo, prezzo ottimo, solo l'acqua, come in tutti i locali di Berlino (nei supermercati è invece molto conveniente, prezzi analoghi a quelli italiani), abbastanza costosa: 1/2 litro d'acqua costa più o meno come 1/2 litro di birra alla spina; comunque era possibile portarsi l'acqua da casa

For some strange reason it took almost 2 hours for my order to get delivered. It was meant to be breakfast but it became lunch. Maybe they went to harvest ingredients from the farm themselves, process the produce and then make the sandwich because nothing else makes sense. Like some other people said, 1 star seems too much. I felt myself age waiting for this magical sandwich that takes almost 2 hours to prepare.

Ειλικρινά γιατί προσλαμβάνουν άτομα που δεν γνωρίζουν αγγλικά σε ένα εστιατόριο κοντά σε τουριστικά αξιοθέατα; Οι κοπέλες ήταν αδιάφορες που περίμενα μόνος μου να παραγγείλω, ήταν τελείως άσχετες στις ερωτήσεις μου για την επιλογή των υλικών και όταν διαπίστωσα πως τα αναψυκτικά στο ψυγείο ήταν ζεστά μου έκαναν παρατήρηση που δεν πήρα τα τελευταία που ήταν κρύα (αυτή βέβαια άδειασε όλο το ράφι για να βρει τα κρύα μπουκάλια). Στη συνέχεια η συνάδελφος της με κοίταζε περίεργα και μου έλεγε στα γερμανικά να πληρώσω άμεσα καθώς έψαχνα το πορτοφόλι μου στην τσάντα μου. Το σάντουιτς ήταν μέτριας ποιότητας.

Unkooperativ, obwohl die bestellte Lieferung nachweislich komplett falsche Zutaten enthielt. Da in der Filiale niemand an das Telefon geht, sind wir zur Subway Filiale gefahren. Dort ist der Service ist unfreundlich und versteht nichts oder stellt sich doof.. So unzufrieden waren wir noch nie. Entsprechend nicht zu empfehlen!

Service took ages even though there were two other people there, restaurant was insanely hot and they had run out of everything - no vegetables, only one choice of cheese, no cookies. Usually perfect for a quick meal but I don’t recommend this one

Standard Subway food. Busy location and very hot inside. The lady seeing understood English which was good. I found it quite pricey for what we had. - maybe that’s just the city.

So eine Frechheit habe ich in Berlin noch nie erlebt! Die Mitarbeiter sprechen kein Deutsch, verstehen aber ein paar Wörter Englisch. Ich habe ein Sub und ein Kids Pack bestellt. An der Kasse sagte mir dann der Mitarbeiter, dass er fürs Kids Pack kein Geschenk hat, ich sagte ok, dann rechnet er das Sandwich, Capri Sonne und Frucht Quatsch einzeln ab, weil das Kids Pack angeblich nicht im System ist. Ich habe ihm gesagt, dass ich nicht das Doppelte für ein Kids Pack bezahlen werde, und bat ihn höflich den Preis zu korrigieren, wie auf der Screen angegeben. Er wurde dann ganz frech und aggressiv und meinte ich kann entweder Capri Sonne nehmen oder das Frucht Quatsch, aber nicht beides. Ich verwies noch mal auf die Screen und sagte ihm, dass im Kids Pack sowohl die Capri Sonne als auch das Frucht Quatsch dabei wären. Darauf hin wurde er noch aggressiver und sagte, ich soll alles bezahlen oder ich bekomme das Kids Pack gar nicht. Ich dachte ich höre nicht richtig. Ich habe das Local verlassen.

Katastrophe. „Sandwich-Artists“ sind super langsam und unkoordiniert, obwohl der Laden minimal besucht war. Es gab ausschließlich Salat und Tomaten zum belegen und die Theke war ausgesprochen unhygienisch. Zusätzlich waren alle Tische im Gastraum dreckig und ich meine alle. Alles in allem ein schlechtes Erlebnis.

Leider nicht alles vorhanden was Angeboten wurde.

Der Mitarbeiter hat mich nicht verstanden kann kein Deutsch und kein Englisch. Und die Fritten waren 5-6 Stück ungelogen keine Portion! Am Ende war in der Kasse kein Kleingeld zum wechseln musste ihn 40 Cent schenken. Was nicht schlimm ist aber bei einem schlechten Service und schlechten Umgang möchte man kein Cent verschenken. Es gab kein sry nix. Wurde eher angemacht.

Ja Essen ist so wie allen anderen Subways auf gewohnt guter Qualität. Jedoch waren die Mitarbeiter extrem tiefen entspannt, langsam und unmotiviert. Zum da sitzen auch nicht toll. Innen drin extrem heiß und draußen 4 Stühle und 2 Tische das wars.

Der schlechteste sabway den ich in meinem Leben jemals gesehen habe. Essen ist kalt und stein hart. Mitarbeiter verstehen kein Wort deutsch und wissen nicht was sie da machen. Ich bin super enttäuscht von diesem Laden und kann ihn abzulut nicht weiterempfehlen

Der Subway ist der beste den ich bis jetzt besucht habe . Die Lage ist top es gut viele sitzplätze und es gibt sehr viele Angebote . Nur der Personalmangel war leider spürbar sonst top

Kann diesen Subway überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Hier wird Lieblos der Belag auf die Sandwiches geschmiert so dass Zutaten nicht ordentlich verteilt sind so dass man dann auf der einen Seite total viel hat und auf der anderen Seite total wenig und somit alles etwas trocken auch auf der einen Seite ist. Normalerweise sind die Sandwiches der Hammer aber hier... Na ich weiß ja nicht... Außerdem immer recht voll

Extrem langsame Mitarbeiter. Für ein Sandwich kann es schon mal 10 min dauern. Mitarbeiter verstehen kaum Deutsch. Laden ist dreckig und ungepflegt. Insgesamt echt mieser Laden. Lieber woanders hin...

Good place to eat when visiting the sites in Berlin, although a bit on the small side so space is limited especially if busy and people start queuing around/next to the tables while you're trying to eat. Also, beware, some toppings are charged extra and this is not clear prior to ordering.

Same subway taste as usual but cheaper than other subways in same district. Staff was friendly and spoke english too.

Immer gute solide Sandwiches zu fairen Preisen. Oft neue, noch nicht so erfahrenen, nur englisch sprechende Mitarbeiter, die sich Mühe geben und freundlich sind.
