We were served by Massim at Subway at Ostbahnhof at around 8:00 p.m., and unfortunately the service was extremely unsatisfactory. Not only was he very slow and overwhelmed, he was also extremely aggressive and unfriendly. Since he didn't speak my two friends' language, German, he made several mistakes when ordering. When we pointed out to him that we had ordered something else, he reacted extremely rudely and explained that he had to serve over 300 guests a day and couldn't spend time with us and our special requests. There was no trace of insight. When we commented that this was not good service, we were verbally attacked. Mistakes can happen to any customer, but four in a row and then arguing is unacceptable. We tried to talk to him rationally several times, but at some point I gave him my opinion.

Worst Subway store I've ever been to. I really advise everyone not to dine in this fast food chain. There are at least four employees in the store, two of whom stand around and do absolutely nothing. 1 employee takes care of filling the baguettes, of course in slow motion as it should be. Meanwhile, there is an employee at the checkout who doesn't do anything except chat with friends/family. If you're the only person in the store, you're in luck! Your waiting time is only at least 10 minutes from order to payment. If there are 2 or 3 people in front of you, allow 30 - 45 minutes. Anyone who values their time in life should not queue. I advise the operator to hire sensible staff. An absolute disgrace.

Unfortunately very disappointing visit to Subway at S Ostbahnhof. Already 1.5 hours before closing time there were hardly any vegetables left to choose from and onions were completely out. I wanted my bread to be double toasted, but it was only toasted once. When I asked, they claimed it had already been toasted twice, which was definitely not the case. I also had to point out before closing the sub that I wanted salt and pepper - otherwise it would have been packed without seasoning. Unfortunately there was too much pepper on it, so my mouth burned. All in all, not a satisfactory experience.

Yesterday we treated ourselves to the first meal of the day at Subway after a long drive. It couldn't be explained to us why a side dish on the sandwich costs a whopping €2.50. The employees were unfriendly and not customer oriented at all. But the worst thing is that less than two hours after eating the sub, my partner threw everything out of his body in every way. It's unbelievable that we have to deal with food poisoning now. But with such a work ethic, nothing surprises me anymore! I am beyond disappointed and cannot express how angry I am!

We went to try it for the first time. Good food and good value for money. But horrible staff. We spoke to them in English to understand each other and they responded to us in German. They didn't try to help us in any way and on top of that they made our order wrong. We wanted the menu and we told them, but the clerk only gave us the sandwich and that was it (without the drink or the cookie for dessert). At least they weren't so incompetent as to overcharge us. Come on, a huge disappointment.

The worst subway branch in all of Berlin! The employees constantly understand 0.0 words in German and even with English this is not guaranteed. They often feel like they have no idea what they are actually selling. It's just cruel! They couldn't even put the food in a bag, even when there was basically nothing going on. Were there on a Sunday. Between 12 and 1 p.m. It was also very empty so we were able to order quickly. My companion got sandwiches and were happy with them too. However, what I had was a disaster... the waffle fries and the nuggets were somewhat warm but far from crispy. It's rather wobbly... the worst thing was the coffee... I ordered a large one (the cup was pretty normal for me) and the contents were just 10-15% full. And when we talked about it, all we got was "that's the way it is"... a shame about the money...

I bought 9 cookies for my colleagues today. 3 arrived. When I tried to clarify the problem via Uber or by phone, no one was available. So I went there after work so I didn't have to pay €5.50 per cookie. All I got were cookies, which I no longer need since my colleague is now on maternity leave... I love the food from Subways. But it would also be nice if you got what you paid for... I don't go here anymore... Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case with deliveries, so I can only really recommend Subways locally. You get ripped off by ordering!

The vegan cheese is an absolute dream and my personal recommendation, even for non-vegans. ;) I sometimes find the communication problems a shame, some employees only speak English, others have difficulties even with English, which is difficult in such a customer-oriented service and leads to delays when ordering. But the food is completely convincing and the selection is large!

Subway itself has really gotten worse in the last year, but the store in Ostbahnhof is terrible. Employees can't even get subs that are completely wrong in German, totally condescending towards women and motivation and customer friendliness are no longer so important. Disappointing experience in the restaurant. Employees have no control over logistics inside, you can wait for 15 minutes and nobody will ask you what you want or at least let you know that your order will be taken after the person is done with another task. It takes quite long time for preparation of the meal. I asked the employee to just continue preparing my meal while I go to the shop (it was shortly before train departure), they didn’t offer to pay in advance which I would of course do. So while I was gone they just put my half-prepared meal to the side and continued when I came back.

When you come in there is no overview of the bread, you are not greeted or asked what you want. The cheese was so melted after coming out of the oven that you could almost call it a sub without cheese. When you eat a salad, you mumble something to yourself and then you just slap something on top. When it comes to the sauce, you can then decide on your own after being asked whether you want a specific sauce. I then said that I would like 2 sauces and was asked again if I was sure (YES I AM). When I wanted another cookie, they tried to sell me two and when it came to paying, as a customer you had to look at the cash register yourself because the seller couldn't open his mouth to say the amount. And then I wanted to pay in cash, which the young gentleman didn't like. You won't be asked whether you want to take away or eat there; the sub will simply be slapped on the counter. I took a basket myself to bring the food to the table.

I've eaten in this branch a few times now and I'm quite disappointed (especially in comparison with other (inter)national branches. When I entered the branch I wasn't greeted in a friendly manner once, usually after 1 minute I received a "Hi" from my waitress, who turned away from me and remained busy with other things, as has happened here again and again. This should be retrained. My clear and direct questions as to whether one or the other campaign (which I present on my smartphone from the Subway app) will not be answered are also not answered; a lot of perplexity leads to minutes of questions among colleagues and attempts to book in the terminal. Ultimately, this branch took part in every campaign. When it comes to serving customers' requests, I get the impression that either people aren't paying attention or there is a significant lack of communication on the part of the staff. If I order a Tuna Footlong and it is filled without any special requests, it is unclear to me why a price of over €10 is asked at the checkout. The price notice (see picture) in the shop window shows €8.39 and the digital display above the counter shows €8.99. Other prices such as the chicken teriyaki are also significantly more expensive inside, contrary to the legally required price display in the shop window, although Subway had recently significantly increased prices across Germany anyway. The quality of the freshly baked subs is OK, but so soft that it has little cohesion. So it's better to enjoy it on a stable surface, otherwise there will be a huge mess. Ingredients appear fresh, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the store often leaves a lot to be desired. Some tables and seating are too narrow and dirty. Even if on average I experienced fewer customers in the branch than elsewhere, there were enough employees present. Unfortunately, no one seems to feel responsible for the cleaning. Opening times are also very flexible. Today the cover of the ingredients was closed before 9 p.m., I had the impression that it was about to close. But on the internet it says 11:30 p.m., and on the notice board in the store it says 11:00 p.m.

Ich habe über Uber Eats bestellt und der Kurier kam mit leeren Händen an und das nach 1h Wartezeit. Laut kurier haben die Mitarbeiter meine Bestellung nicht bearbeitet und haben ihn ohne irgendwas losgeschickt.

Une catastrophe ! - le personnel n’est pas aimable, j’entendais à peine ce que disait le serveur tellement il marmonnait, je devais le faire répéter à chaque fois, ce n’est pas de ma faute si tu travailles ici… - la nourriture est mauvaise, c’est une honte de faire payer pour des frites aussi molles - j’ai demandé un renseignement sur une boisson car je ne peux pas boire de boisson pétillante et évidemment on me donne une boisson pétillante ! - le serveur ramasse mes frites tombées sur le comptoir et les remet dans ma boîte, il ne me donne même pas de sachet pour pouvoir emporter ma commande Résultat je n’ai rien pu manger et j’ai tout donné à un sans-abri… À fuir absolument

Eher unangenehme Erfahrung Unfreundliches Personal Kommunikation war recht schwierig, da sie kein deutsch und nur gebrochenes Englisch sprechen können Während sie einen falschen Sub zubereitet haben, haben wir sie darauf hingewiesen dass wir etwas anderes bestellt haben Darauf sehr unfreundlich reagiert und Augenrollend den sub so umgeändert dass er zu dem bestellten passt

Personal oft komplett lustlos. Die Sandwiches sind im Gegensatz zu anderen Filialen einfach ne Frechheit. Freundlichkeit ist auch eher selten anzutreffen. Werd den Laden in Zukunft einfach meiden

Staff at this Subway used to be great, but in the last 1-2 months, they've become consistently rude(staff might have changed). Today, my husband's sandwich was cut into two halves entirely, and when he complained, the staff argued that it was normal. Additionally, they've been skimping on veggies lately. The overall experience has been disappointing, and we're not reconsidering coming back.

Hier erfolgte ein Betrug.Obwohl das Bezahlterminal die Geheimzahl verlangte, sagte die Kollegin das keine Buchung erfolgte und meinSohn musste am Sonntag sofort nochmal bezahlen.Einen Beleg gab es nicht, da verstanden die Kollegen auf einmal kein Deutsch. Beide Buchungen wurden abgebucht.und das nenne ich Betrug

Why does Subway believe that the strategy of raising prices and saving on ingredients would be a sensible strategy is beyond me! A Footlong Sub Chicken Teriyaki only costs one and a half ladles of meat and 4 tomatoes and cucumbers for a whopping €10, even though Subway says 2 ladles of meat and 6 tomatoes and cucumbers! Insolence and fraud on paying customers and the Subway headquarters does nothing about it!

I went into the restaurant around 2pm to order 3 sandwiches for takeaway. The person running the restaurant at that time was sitting in the dining room on the phone. He stared at me while on the phone but never acknowledged I was standing there at the counter for almost 5 minutes. He finally hung up and served me. The bread was dry as a bone - not fresh at all. Sad experience.

Apparently you can no longer choose what you want on it - not even if you just wanted a different sauce. When I asked, all I got was “that’s just how it comes.” Well, I don't feel like going here again.

Food good but service is last. I ordered something to pick up, got there early and was able to see how my order was being prepared. When I later said that there were 2 different sauces on one sub, I was insulted and called stupid because the hot and mild western sauce were the same. That means she had read it but didn't want to use two bottles because she was of the opinion that they were the same thing.
