Since my sandwich still wasn't ready after 15 minutes, I left. I had to catch the train. I'm very disappointed with the new screens where you order. Before, you could watch live as your sandwich was being prepared, and it all took less than five minutes. Now it takes 20 minutes for a small sandwich. It's a shame it's no longer an option!

Not compatible with the app at this location, mostly VERY dirty tables. I ordered at the 7up terminal, but there weren't any in the fridge, so I had to get water. I waited 20 minutes for my order and then got an ice-cold sub with what felt like a piece of cold (not toasted, I think) flavorless meat and very little sauce (since the meat and sauce were my only ingredients, I can't comment on anything else). The sub was also only half full. I miss the Subway in my city. You wait 2 minutes, luckily you can order directly at the cashier and pay with card or cash, and the Subway is enjoyable afterward: nice and warm to hot, more than a small piece of meat, enough sauce, and you get what you order. The only thing that was good or normal was the biscuit. It just tasted as good as always. Summary: It was bad, and I want my money back and go to the McDonald's next door. (Then you might even get what you order, and not after 20 minutes and then it feels like it's straight from the freezer.)

I was drawn to the store by the offer displayed: €5.99 for a 15 cm sub of the day, with a soft drink and a cookie. Ordering is only possible via the ordering terminals. There, I selected the desired menu item under the "Sub of the Day" menu item. Unfortunately, the device didn't display the special price. A surcharge for the deposit would have been understandable. However, instead of the €5.99 special price, which is also advertised in the fine print, I paid €7.64. I repeated the entry and made sure not to select any paid extras. Since I didn't feel like going anywhere else, I ordered anyway. Unfortunately, the finished sub was missing cheddar and tomatoes. Conclusion: If you have a few euros to spare, you can definitely order a sub there, but check on site to make sure you've got everything. The Subway at Ostbahnhof has never been known for good service. Unmotivated and often unfriendly employees are unfortunately the norm here. Example: All the free tables are dirty, and I don't mean just five crumbs. A uniformed employee is sitting directly in the customer area and is on his cell phone. I politely ask if he could please clean the table, and I get the reply, "I'm on a break." Okay, so why is he sitting in the store? As a customer, I'm supposed to check which employee is on a break, or what? He's allowed to take his break, but there was no quick notification to his other colleagues asking them to clean the table. The man continued staring at his cell phone, and I was allowed to go to the next employee myself. That's not even minimal service. Nobody speaks German there anyway, and English is broken at best. Since the switch to mandatory touchscreen ordering, the dining experience has become a complete nightmare. You can't see what's being prepared, and the tablets respond extremely slowly, which unnecessarily lengthens the ordering process. I created a Subway account months ago specifically to speed up the process and collect points. Instead of the flexibility in payment methods I get with other fast-food chains, I was disappointed. The system automatically attempted to pay with Google Pay, even though I hadn't saved that method. After several failed attempts, I finally chose cash. It wasn't until after waiting 20 minutes that I realized my order number wasn't showing up. Why? Because the staff only starts preparing the sandwich AFTER the cash payment. This information isn't clearly communicated anywhere. As a result, I almost missed my train. Until the system change, it was standard practice at Subway to only pay after the food was prepared. Optional card payment at the checkout is also not possible if you've previously selected "Cash on the counter." Inflexible, confusing, and customer-unfriendly. The food didn't look appetizing at all. It was the worst sub I've ever eaten in my life (I've been a customer since around 2008). Conclusion: If you're hungry and in a hurry, you should avoid this location. And all others, too.

Paid extra for guacamole and they forgot it. My order also didn't have any tomatoes despite me ordering them. The whole shop is set up in a way so you can't see the process of preparing the sub, otherwise I could have seen and told them. The owner is basically setting the workers up for failure. I'd love to request a refund because 12€ (or more) for a footlong with half the ingredients missing feels like a crime but the store doesn't have that option easily available. I can just go somewhere else to get robbed. Personally won't be going to Subway again since the prices have doubled and the service has declined.

Das große Chicken-Teriyaki wird laut Aushang für EUR 9,99 angeboten. Beim Bezahlen sind es dann plötzlich EUR 10,99. Die Mitarbeiter beteuern, dass sie da nichts dafür können, aber mein Mitleid hält sich in Grenzen. Weiter sticht negativ der massive Vorbau mit den Bezahlschaltern ins Auge. Man sieht die Auslagen/Zutaten gar nicht. Wenn man von der Seite zuschaut fällt einem aber schon auf, dass eher „sparsam“ belegt wird, zumindest wenn ich das mit anderen Subways vergleiche. Immerhin war der Mitarbeiter damit einverstanden, dass ich das Sandwich dann nicht zu diesem Preis akzeptiere. Also, aufgrund der Lage ziemlich abseits zur Bahnhofshaupthalle und der Art wie dieser Subway geführt wird, sage ich dieser Unternehmung keine prosperierende Zukunft voraus.

An absolute shame. If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered at 9:00 PM, delivered at 10:20 PM for… NOTHING. There was a Buy One, Get One Free deal on Uber Eats, so we picked two large sandwiches (paying €5.50 extra per sandwich), plus a portion of Waffle Fries, supposedly 150-200g. And what did we get? • Two half sandwiches. Not two large, not even two regular. Two halves. The ingredients are wrong. At least we have a bit of cold tasteless chicken. • The Waffle Fries? Literally four fries. Not a portion, not even close. FOUR cold fries. • All this for €25 and some change, for a sandwich that was ugly, bad, and took 1 hour and 15 minutes to prepare. Honestly, this is plain robbery. Terrible quality, awful service, and an absolute scam. Avoid at all costs.

It's a shame, this was once one of the best Subway branches in Berlin, but unfortunately the machines have now been introduced here too in order to put employees behind the counter with whom you can't communicate. Like at McDonalds, you only get pre-made choices without having any individual influence on the salad topping of the sandwich. A request such as extra jalapeños or half with the sauce and the other half with the other sauce is no longer possible. Very unfortunate. This no longer has anything to do with Subway's original concept. There is also less topping than before and you can no longer freely look at the ingredients and how the sandwich is topped. This is all now covered by the machines.

Unfortunately the subway has become very bad. Orders now have to be placed via a terminal with (as of February 25) immature menu navigation. It is not possible to order from employees. The terminals with walls create a privacy screen so that you cannot see the ingredients and the preparation process. You could position yourself at the checkout and have a look at it, but it would then be sent back. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but when you get a sub in which the chicken is only on one half of the food long and what feels like half of the salad components are missing, the idea that the system has it comes to mind. In addition, the terminal also eliminates options such as little corn, olives only on one side, etc.

I've eaten in this branch a few times now and I'm quite disappointed (especially in comparison with other (inter)national branches. When I entered the branch I wasn't greeted in a friendly manner once, usually after 1 minute I received a "Hi" from my waitress, who turned away from me and remained busy with other things, as has happened here again and again. This should be retrained. My clear and direct questions as to whether one or the other campaign (which I present on my smartphone from the Subway app) will not be answered are also not answered; a lot of perplexity leads to minutes of questions among colleagues and attempts to book in the terminal. Ultimately, this branch took part in every campaign. When it comes to serving customers' requests, I get the impression that either people aren't paying attention or there is a significant lack of communication on the part of the staff. If I order a Tuna Footlong and it is filled without any special requests, it is unclear to me why a price of over €10 is asked at the checkout. The price notice (see picture) in the shop window shows €8.39 and the digital display above the counter shows €8.99. Other prices such as the chicken teriyaki are also significantly more expensive inside, contrary to the legally required price display in the shop window, although Subway had recently significantly increased prices across Germany anyway. The quality of the freshly baked subs is OK, but so soft that it has little cohesion. So it's better to enjoy it on a stable surface, otherwise there will be a huge mess. Ingredients appear fresh, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the store often leaves a lot to be desired. Some tables and seating are too narrow and dirty. Even if on average I experienced fewer customers in the branch than elsewhere, there were enough employees present. Unfortunately, no one seems to feel responsible for the cleaning. If he has problems with his cash register, it is his problem and not the customer's and, above all, he must not use the customer's points unintentionally!

The worst subway visit of my life. The staff couldn't speak a word of German and everything went wrong with the orders because the staff was Indian and they could only speak a bit of English. I recommend the store to people who want to go through hell.

We were served by Massim at Subway at Ostbahnhof at around 8:00 p.m., and unfortunately the service was extremely unsatisfactory. Not only was he very slow and overwhelmed, he was also extremely aggressive and unfriendly. Since he didn't speak my two friends' language, German, he made several mistakes when ordering. When we pointed out to him that we had ordered something else, he reacted extremely rudely and explained that he had to serve over 300 guests a day and couldn't spend time with us and our special requests. There was no trace of insight. When we commented that this was not good service, we were verbally attacked. Mistakes can happen to any customer, but four in a row and then arguing is unacceptable. We tried to talk to him rationally several times, but at some point I gave him my opinion.

We wanted to order, and a woman named "Rasien" was supposed to serve us. She was constantly typing on her phone and completely ignored us. Even when we asked about the sub of the day, she responded slowly and irritably. Very disappointing. We ended up not eating there. It was also extremely dirty, especially behind the counter, including where the food was.

Amazing mexican food, best in town! Prices are also very good. All reviews you see seem to be from Subway that was here before and it was truly bad but these guys opened a completely new restaurant that’s 100% worth visit!

This is by far the worst Subway I’ve ever been to. I’ve given it multiple chances but every time it’s the same thing — incredibly slow, confusing service that takes 30 minutes or more just to make one sandwich, even when I’m the only customer there. It makes no sense why it takes this long. It’s frustrating, a total waste of time and nothing ever improves. I’ve been to other Subway locations that are much faster and better run. If you have any other options, go there instead.

Unfortunately, an incredibly bad subway experience! From the very beginning, the service was very unfriendly, and they charged a higher price, not to mention the toilets… although you could turn a blind eye to that if the service and the food quality were good enough :(

Previously, this Subway was fine. Unfortunately, ordering kiosks were added. At first, you were politely reminded to use them. But it wasn't mandatory, and you could order at the counter as usual, partly because the kiosks frequently broke down. Now, however, ordering at the kiosk has become mandatory. The counter windows are taped over with a large notice to use the kiosks to order. This makes it impossible to determine the freshness of the ingredients. That makes sense at some fast-food restaurants, but not at Subway, where you're constantly in contact with the employee regarding the ingredients. This wastes both the customer's and the employee's time, and the long slip printed out for each order is, on top of that, environmental pollution and an unnecessary waste of resources. I won't be coming back for a while.
