She didn't speak German, so my stomach remained empty :( And now, two years later, it still hasn't improved. Now the toppings have been changed from the order. Never again. It's no fun.

Has swapped to a digitised ordering system (on a tablet), which means you can’t fully customer your order, and more importantly when they’re out of stock of something, the staff just substitute it for something else without telling you. This happened to us twice. At least they would give a refund when asked, so an extra point for service.

The new payment terminals randomly refuse to initialize. The only solution to the problem is to restart your order from the beginning and hope that it decides to allow you to pay. The sandwiches are fine, but the new technology needs better troubleshooting.

Paid extra for guacamole and they forgot it. My order also didn't have any tomatoes despite me ordering them. The whole shop is set up in a way so you can't see the process of preparing the sub, otherwise I could have seen and told them. The owner is basically setting the workers up for failure. I'd love to request a refund because 12€ (or more) for a footlong with half the ingredients missing feels like a crime but the store doesn't have that option easily available. I can just go somewhere else to get robbed. Personally won't be going to Subway again since the prices have doubled and the service has declined.

You can't order the sub of the day at the advertised price (€5.99) because it's not available or stored in the terminal. This was the explanation of the unqualified employee, who unfortunately doesn't speak German. The price would therefore be €9.44. The store could just as well close.

Das große Chicken-Teriyaki wird laut Aushang für EUR 9,99 angeboten. Beim Bezahlen sind es dann plötzlich EUR 10,99. Die Mitarbeiter beteuern, dass sie da nichts dafür können, aber mein Mitleid hält sich in Grenzen. Weiter sticht negativ der massive Vorbau mit den Bezahlschaltern ins Auge. Man sieht die Auslagen/Zutaten gar nicht. Wenn man von der Seite zuschaut fällt einem aber schon auf, dass eher „sparsam“ belegt wird, zumindest wenn ich das mit anderen Subways vergleiche. Immerhin war der Mitarbeiter damit einverstanden, dass ich das Sandwich dann nicht zu diesem Preis akzeptiere. Also, aufgrund der Lage ziemlich abseits zur Bahnhofshaupthalle und der Art wie dieser Subway geführt wird, sage ich dieser Unternehmung keine prosperierende Zukunft voraus.

The bread wasn't toasted properly, you only wanted cash even though the card reader obviously worked and you are charged a deposit for a drink that you drink on site and then the deposit is not accepted again... An absolute shame. If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered at 9:00 PM, delivered at 10:20 PM for… NOTHING. There was a Buy One, Get One Free deal on Uber Eats, so we picked two large sandwiches (paying €5.50 extra per sandwich), plus a portion of Waffle Fries, supposedly 150-200g. And what did we get? • Two half sandwiches. Not two large, not even two regular. Two halves. The ingredients are wrong. At least we have a bit of cold tasteless chicken. • The Waffle Fries? Literally four fries. Not a portion, not even close. FOUR cold fries. • All this for €25 and some change, for a sandwich that was ugly, bad, and took 1 hour and 15 minutes to prepare. Honestly, this is plain robbery. Terrible quality, awful service, and an absolute scam. Avoid at all costs.

the new service system is a disaster, the waiting time for a sandwich is almost three times as long as usual, half of the terminals do not work properly and hang when paying with a card, and at the service counter you cannot pay with a card, and you cannot see the ingredients from which they are prepared - and that was Subway's calling card, a tragedy If the staff finds that one of the terminals is not working, they should post a notice and not rip off other customers.

Worst subway I've ever been to. Sub was old and dry and half of the toppings you ordered weren't on there at all, nor were the extras you paid for. I waited 20 minutes for half a sub, so I'd rather go to McDonald's, they're quicker. The restaurant generally looks very dingy, but you only notice it when, like me, you have to sit there for almost half an hour. Never ever subway again

Unfortunately the subway has become very bad. Orders now have to be placed via a terminal with (as of February 25) immature menu navigation. It is not possible to order from employees. The terminals with walls create a privacy screen so that you cannot see the ingredients and the preparation process. You could position yourself at the checkout and have a look at it, but it would then be sent back. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but when you get a sub in which the chicken is only on one half of the food long and what feels like half of the salad components are missing, the idea that the system has it comes to mind. In addition, the terminal also eliminates options such as little corn, olives only on one side, etc.

It's a shame, this was once one of the best Subway branches in Berlin, but unfortunately the machines have now been introduced here too in order to put employees behind the counter with whom you can't communicate. Like at McDonalds, you only get pre-made choices without having any individual influence on the salad topping of the sandwich. A request such as extra jalapeños or half with the sauce and the other half with the other sauce is no longer possible. Very unfortunate. This no longer has anything to do with Subway's original concept. There is also less topping than before and you can no longer freely look at the ingredients and how the sandwich is topped. This is all now covered by the machines.

I've eaten in this branch a few times now and I'm quite disappointed (especially in comparison with other (inter)national branches. When I entered the branch I wasn't greeted in a friendly manner once, usually after 1 minute I received a "Hi" from my waitress, who turned away from me and remained busy with other things, as has happened here again and again. This should be retrained. My clear and direct questions as to whether one or the other campaign (which I present on my smartphone from the Subway app) will not be answered are also not answered; a lot of perplexity leads to minutes of questions among colleagues and attempts to book in the terminal. Ultimately, this branch took part in every campaign. When it comes to serving customers' requests, I get the impression that either people aren't paying attention or there is a significant lack of communication on the part of the staff. If I order a Tuna Footlong and it is filled without any special requests, it is unclear to me why a price of over €10 is asked at the checkout. The price notice (see picture) in the shop window shows €8.39 and the digital display above the counter shows €8.99. Other prices such as the chicken teriyaki are also significantly more expensive inside, contrary to the legally required price display in the shop window, although Subway had recently significantly increased prices across Germany anyway. The quality of the freshly baked subs is OK, but so soft that it has little cohesion. So it's better to enjoy it on a stable surface, otherwise there will be a huge mess. Ingredients appear fresh, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the store often leaves a lot to be desired. Some tables and seating are too narrow and dirty. Even if on average I experienced fewer customers in the branch than elsewhere, there were enough employees present. Unfortunately, no one seems to feel responsible for the cleaning. Opening times are also very flexible. Today the cover of the ingredients was closed before 9 p.m., I had the impression that it was about to close. But on the internet it says 11:30 p.m., and on the notice board in the store it says 11:00 p.m. Update 1/18/25: As I found out after my visit, the employee had, without my knowledge/consent, offset my bonus points balance of over 1000 points when I collected it and even received €2.50 instead of the €4.49 I had previously received. If he has problems with his cash register, it is his problem and not the customer's and, above all, he must not use the customer's points unintentionally!

We were served by Massim at Subway at Ostbahnhof at around 8:00 p.m., and unfortunately the service was extremely unsatisfactory. Not only was he very slow and overwhelmed, he was also extremely aggressive and unfriendly. Since he didn't speak my two friends' language, German, he made several mistakes when ordering. When we pointed out to him that we had ordered something else, he reacted extremely rudely and explained that he had to serve over 300 guests a day and couldn't spend time with us and our special requests. There was no trace of insight. When we commented that this was not good service, we were verbally attacked. Mistakes can happen to any customer, but four in a row and then arguing is unacceptable. We tried to talk to him rationally several times, but at some point I gave him my opinion.

Worst Subway store I've ever been to. I really advise everyone not to dine in this fast food chain. There are at least four employees in the store, two of whom stand around and do absolutely nothing. 1 employee takes care of filling the baguettes, of course in slow motion as it should be. Meanwhile, there is an employee at the checkout who doesn't do anything except chat with friends/family. If you're the only person in the store, you're in luck! Your waiting time is only at least 10 minutes from order to payment. If there are 2 or 3 people in front of you, allow 30 - 45 minutes. Anyone who values their time in life should not queue. I advise the operator to hire sensible staff. An absolute disgrace.

Unfortunately very disappointing visit to Subway at S Ostbahnhof. Already 1.5 hours before closing time there were hardly any vegetables left to choose from and onions were completely out. I wanted my bread to be double toasted, but it was only toasted once. When I asked, they claimed it had already been toasted twice, which was definitely not the case. I also had to point out before closing the sub that I wanted salt and pepper - otherwise it would have been packed without seasoning. Unfortunately there was too much pepper on it, so my mouth burned. All in all, not a satisfactory experience.

Yesterday we treated ourselves to the first meal of the day at Subway after a long drive. It couldn't be explained to us why a side dish on the sandwich costs a whopping €2.50. The employees were unfriendly and not customer oriented at all. But the worst thing is that less than two hours after eating the sub, my partner threw everything out of his body in every way. It's unbelievable that we have to deal with food poisoning now. But with such a work ethic, nothing surprises me anymore! I am beyond disappointed and cannot express how angry I am!

Were there on a Sunday. Between 12 and 1 p.m. It was also very empty so we were able to order quickly. My companion got sandwiches and were happy with them too. However, what I had was a disaster... the waffle fries and the nuggets were somewhat warm but far from crispy. It's rather wobbly... the worst thing was the coffee... So I went there after work so I didn't have to pay €5.50 per cookie. All I got were cookies, which I no longer need since my colleague is now on maternity leave... I love the food from Subways. But it would also be nice if you got what you paid for... I don't go here anymore... Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case with deliveries, so I can only really recommend Subways locally. You get ripped off by ordering!

Food is always delicious! The vegan cheese is an absolute dream and my personal recommendation, even for non-vegans. ;) I sometimes find the communication problems a shame, some employees only speak English, others have difficulties even with English, which is difficult in such a customer-oriented service and leads to delays when ordering. But the food is completely convincing and the selection is large!

This location doesn't accept coupons or vouchers in the app 😡 Often times their machine breaks and they don't accept credit card payments. There are much better locations nearby, like the ones at Storkower Str. and Ostbahnhof station.

11 € for a salad that is so small is unaccetable. The veg patty should be at least cut into smaller pieces, but was just thrown on the saddest salad I have ever seen

Just absolutely underground. I've pre-ordered online via the app several times now and have had to wait 15 minutes each time, even though I pre-ordered it. I keep getting the wrong order. Whether the bread is wrong, the sauce is wrong or just recently I got real meat instead of meatless chicken teriyaki. To date I have not been refunded and it just disgusts me that I ate meat. The employees don't speak any German and only speak broken English. The language barrier doesn't make it possible to talk to the employees and they don't understand you at all about your order. Even if it is pre-ordered online, the orders are incorrect. The store is dirty, you have to wait a long time, and the employees are unfriendly.
