Subway in München

Very disappointed with my visit to this Subway. The staff member who served me was unfriendly made comments about my race and from the start and made me feel uncomfortable when placing my order. He kept making faces, refused to add the ingredients I asked for, and seemed uninterested in preparing the sandwich properly. At one point, he even left my order halfway to chat and exercise with a colleague. On top of that, the restroom was in terrible condition — the floor and toilet were dirty, and I was unexpectedly asked to pay an extra €1 to use it. Overall, a really unpleasant experience and not what I expect from Subway.

Why do you close over 10 minutes early? Then you knock and get insulted by the staff. Never again so disrespectful.

EDIT: The displays are gone :) It was my first time there since the switch to displays, and unfortunately, EVERYTHING got bad: the aisle to the checkout has become extremely narrow, and the checkout/pickup area should now actually be on the entrance side. It took me about three times as long to order, as you have to click through the individual pages first. The wait time afterwards was also longer. Normally, ordering and preparation at Subway happen in parallel, that's the joke! In the end, it turned out that a 30cm sub was accidentally made instead of a 15cm one (half was kept back, hopefully, the employees will eat it). Of course, that could never happen with the normal ordering process. The displays can't even break down any language barriers. A person with a speech impediment made a mistake in their order, which was more or less ignored. So my advice would be: treat one display and place it somewhere where it won't be a nuisance, and get rid of the rest.

The sub was completely wrong. No cheese, no sauce, the wrong bread, and it was cold. The only things that were right were the cookie and the drink (which I got myself from the shelf). The employees were nice, but everything was still wrong. They couldn't even change money. This isn't the first time this has happened.

The store is small but nice. The food has always been great, the only thing that's a bit annoying is that the space is pretty tight, as there are always a lot of people there getting subs. The employees are all really cool, even though they don't have an easy job. Respect to the store. (I liked it better before the ordering kiosks, but the store is still pretty cool.)

I don't understand the problem: ordering works perfectly on the displays, and my sub was very good. The store is modern, clean, and has seating upstairs with a view of the Ostbahnhof train station. It's a bit cramped in there, but otherwise everything's great.

This branch is awash with incompetence. They've created these order displays that don't respond, so you switch back to normal ordering, and it's back to the way it used to be: you don't get what you ordered because no one speaks German. Please reactivate the displays; the staff only have to read them. This branch has truly become the worst in Munich.

They do NOT accept vouchers or the Subway app. The floor is extremely dirty and the tables are not cleaned.

Since the machine is in there you can no longer put together a SUB yourself, they do not respond to your wishes and do not understand a single word of German that you could ask them. On top of that they are quite unfriendly even though you are only trying to communicate with them. Worst service ever.

Since switching to displays, the store has gotten worse. The first employee was too stupid to let me redeem the voucher. The second employee was extremely unfriendly to me. I wanted to redeem a voucher that was valid until April 15th (2 subs for 1 price) and that wasn't possible there. The employee didn't even apologize. Cannot recommend the store. Never again!!!!!

Since switching to these digital ordering systems, nothing seems to be working anymore. Everything is full and it's way too narrow. You can hardly stand and nothing is organized anymore. The personal service that I previously valued has also been lost. It's a shame because the team is really great!

First of all, the full amount for the sub of the day was debited, so we had to complain. We got the difference paid out in cash. We then waited almost 50 minutes for our food, absolutely unacceptable. They didn't even apologize for it. Unfortunately, ordering with the new terminals doesn't work at all.

As soon as we got the toppings, it became clear that extreme savings had been made on the side dishes, which meant that the sub was quite “empty”. However, the way the employee treated it was even worse: the sauce bottle was thrown improperly, and the sub was treated so carelessly when it was packaged that the bread tore open on one side. Instead of taking the situation seriously or apologizing, the employee just acknowledged the whole thing with a grin (We got a €1 discount as compensation. So €8.99 instead of €9.99.) Decent subway with friendly employees. During the week around 10:30 p.m. the subway was in a clean, tidy condition. The displays (ingredients) appeared fresh and appealing despite the late hour. The employees were also very friendly and worked quickly with the preparation. Unfortunately the selection of breads was a bit limited, but that's okay given the late hour. The subs we ordered were well topped, and extras like fried onions were no problem. Overall a pleasant visit.

Unfortunately, the employees are very stingy with the toppings. The shop is unclean. Unfortunately, my visit to Subway today was very disappointing. Although Subway is offering new coupons starting today, they were not accepted at the store. When I asked, the two employees couldn't even explain to me why that was the case. In addition, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. It seems that the store only runs well when the boss is on site - without him, the employees seem clueless and overwhelmed. I'll think twice about coming back in the future.

I thought it couldn't get any worse and then this. You haven't been there for a while and they say "only 3 types of vegetables as a topping, otherwise it will cost more". That's a shame but then I try the Nacho Chicken or whatever it's called and it consisted almost entirely of breading that tasted like old, dry chips. You couldn't taste any chicken at all. Subway wasn't always great before, but this is going too far. Never again.

The breads are prepared quickly which is very convenient if you have to catch your public transport. You shouldn't expect anything extraordinary from the ambience. The subway is at Ostbahnhof. It seemed clean every time.

Music was so loud that the lady behind the counter could hardly understand anything. Tried to do 2 subs at the same time and was overwhelmed. It wasn't exactly clean either...

Afterwards, eating was heavy in the stomach. It made me feel bad for hours. It came out front and back again. Never settle here.

The subs are still okay, but the service is really a disaster. Friday evening 8 p.m. - only one employee there, everything takes a long time. He doesn't understand any German except the subs. On other days there were two young women who preferred to deal with the phone rather than the customers. It's a shame that the snack bar has gone down so badly. Often the tables and chairs are not cleaned even though there are no customers and there is time.

Ich finde den Laden sehr gut und schön allerdings gibt es kontra im Service weil der Automat zum Getränke befüllen nicht mehr da ist das finde ich sehr schade weil man sich einfach soviel nehmen konnte wie man wollte und dies zum Service meiner Meinung nach dazu gehört.

Bin eigentlich Grosser Subway-Fan was ich heute erlebt habe geht allerdings gar nicht. Bin reingekommen - kein anderer Kunde im Laden und musste 15 Minuten auf mein Sub warten weil der Mitarbeiter Cookies vom Blech genommen und sortiert hat - als er dann fertig war hat er mein Sub total lustlos zubereitet. Geschmeckt hat es auch anders als üblich - was kann man da denn falsch machen ???? Hier nicht wieder !!!!

Subway ist gut wenn man gerade wenig Zeit hat und etwas haben möchte was gut schmeckt. Die Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Aber es ist und bleibt ein fast food Restaurant. Und das merkt man auch
