StrandStulle in Norden

I hadn't eaten at Strandstulle in a while, and I wasn't aware of the change in ownership. So I ordered and had it delivered. Apparently, you're automatically redirected to the Ostfriesland app. Many of the toppings were missing from the order confirmation, so I called to clarify. Finally, they told me that all the drivers were out and about and the agreed delivery time couldn't be met. That was fine with me. Then the driver arrived and handed me the bag with the four Strandstulle sandwiches. I immediately noticed that they were all cold, not even lukewarm. I told the driver this. He simply said that couldn't be right. I asked him to check them himself, but he refused. Unfortunately, I had already given him the money. He didn't have the invoice, receipt, or anything else I had requested. "...we don't do those, I'll send it via WhatsApp..." Of course, no WhatsApp message arrived. The driver was gone, and I had to take the food apart. The bread, teriyaki, and chicken were all ice cold, like they'd come straight from the refrigerated section. The tuna topping was practically nonexistent (a tiny teaspoonful). So I called again. No one answered, not even several times. Then I called from a different number and got through immediately. I explained that the food was cold and there was hardly any tuna. The person on the other end wasn't exactly customer-oriented and dismissed my complaint. So I took the cold food and drove there myself. When I arrived, they again claimed the food wasn't cold. I said I'd never had any problems with cold sandwiches here before, until now. Since they only offered to remake one of the four sandwiches, which made no sense if they were all cold, I asked for a refund. I wanted my money back and didn't want to take the cold food home. This was refused with the words, "...do you want to sue me for €27.60..." No, of course I don't want to. I paid for four hot sandwiches and got a cold, miserable mess. That was a lesson learned. I left the slop there and left with the reputation that they'll never see me there again. The owner's very "customer- and service-oriented" brother even shouted a warning after me. Don't worry, I'll never set foot in that place again. Unfortunately, I only just read the reviews now, too late. Anyone who still buys anything here has only themselves to blame. In the meantime, a customer came in who ordered a fish sandwich. The man prepared it wearing gloves that he'd already used to touch all sorts of things. He also used these gloves to take the customer's cash. Far from hygienic. Unfortunately, you can't give negative stars. Like I said, never again.

We order these delicious sandwiches from the neighboring village almost weekly. Our old man always gets the herring roll – fresh and really good. We usually get chicken teriyaki or tuna – always freshly topped, crispy, and really delicious. The delivery time has never been longer than an hour (even on weekends), the driver is always friendly, and we've always been full. Top quality, great service – that's how it should be. Thanks for that, a definite 5 stars! 🌟

The Strandstulle in Norden is highly recommended! Fresh ingredients, a wide selection, and everything is prepared right in front of your eyes – similar to Subway, but with a special, regional touch. The rolls are crispy, the toppings are plentiful and delicious. The staff is very friendly and works quickly, even when it's busy. The shop is clean, the concept is great, and the prices are fair. If you're in Norden, you should definitely stop by – I'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, my husband had already sat down by the time I reached the counter, which didn't look very appetizing. I hadn't imagined my fried fish sandwich to be anything like that either. A bit of iceberg lettuce and a small dollop of tartar sauce, the fried fish tasted of nothing. My husband's kibbeling was also quite bland. The young man serving at the table was pleasant. That's why it gets an extra star. For a €25 meal at a snack bar, I expect considerably more. It's a shame, though; the name "Strandstulle" sounded tempting.

Crab sandwich with not-so-fresh "crab/shrimp" €9.90. Remoulade costs an extra €0.60. A sticky sandwich with a lot of salad, just for the eyes. Tourist rip-off Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

I spontaneously stopped by to pick up a fried fish sandwich. The place reminds me a lot of Subway. Sandwiches are the focus here. I was actually expecting a fried fish like I know from the farmer's market. What I got was a pre-baked fish fillet in batter, which had been briefly warmed up. I'm used to it differently... I'm also not used to everything coming in a soft brioche bun. My bun also had salad. That didn't bother me, but I'm just not used to it. Overall, the place is fine if you want a quick bite to eat. It wasn't great, but it's okay. The place is clean, tidy, and the staff are friendly.

The crab sandwich was more like a salad sandwich with a few crabs. It tasted delicious, but the crab portion could have been larger, and the salad a bit less.

For lunch, we had fried herring with fried potatoes and a side salad for €12.80. The advertised fried herring was a small piece of fillet, dry and shredded, so it looked like more. The potato portions were quite modest. The price-performance ratio wasn't right.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I imagine something different when I think of a fried fish sandwich.

A very extensive selection of dishes. The service was really nice. But there was a song playing on repeat. It was very pleasant, though. The food was delicious.

We got a power drink there and paid 3.50. She had it filled in a glass and they charge by the glass. The whole bottle costs 50 cents more. It is not indicated anywhere and it is a really strange way.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is completely out of whack. We ordered two sandwiches and two drinks. According to the menu, a 0.4l soft drink costs €3. We then got two 0.2l glasses and had to pay €3.50 each. When I asked why the menu said something different and explained that I wouldn't have ordered any drinks for that price, I was simply given a rude reply that it's just the way it is. Unfortunately, hygiene was completely disregarded when preparing the sandwiches. Gloves were worn, but people touched the leftovers with them or occasionally scratched their heads before touching the sandwich again. The sandwiches were lying on the napkins, so they were already covered in sauce. When I went inside to ask if we could possibly get some new napkins, I was simply told that there were already some under our food, and that was it. Simply incredibly rude, unhygienic, and incredibly unfriendly. ... It was definitely the first and last time.

The double herring rolls were truly unbelievably delicious. We'll definitely be back. It was truly one of the best fish rolls I've had here; everything was freshly prepared and delicious. And the service was very friendly, too.

My wife and I each ordered a fried fish sandwich (in a soggy bun) and a shared portion of potato salad. Only one fish sandwich arrived, and then, even with the second sandwich, they only asked if we wanted remoulade on it. With the first, they simply added it (and remoulade costs extra). The fact that extra sauce costs 0.60 cents was stated on a separate board, and secondly, you should ask if you even want sauce, or rather, state that it counts as extra sauce. The portion of potato salad (not homemade) for €4.50 was so small that I first asked if it was homemade. When he said no, I complained to him directly. It wasn't 100 grams. At least he added potato salad. In the end, I wanted to take a receipt, but their machine wasn't working. Then they asked me to scan something to supposedly just get the bill sent to me via email. But I didn't want to scan anything (that's dubious because they could read all of my data). Strangely enough, within a minute, he managed to just take my email address and send me the invoice directly. It arrived right away. We can't recommend StrandStulle at all; it was a disaster. Stay away.

I can't comment on the service and ambience because we ordered the food through Lieferando. It was now with 2 orders that the quality was subpar. Crabs were almost non-existent. I could count them on one hand. On the second attempt there were already 10 crabs, but they were more like crab cream than fresh crabs..Terriyaki, the chicken meat was more mushy than cross. That was the last time. Conclusion never again, it's a shame actually.

Unfortunately very disappointing. That's not what I expect when I order a crab roll. The price is 8.90 per roll. The topping is more than sparse and the crabs are far from fresh - they were more mushy and probably pickled? A sauce was completely missing. Only half of the roll was filled and even that wasn't particularly rich. Unfortunately we had already had this experience the last time we ordered but we wanted to try it again. Too bad! But the baguettes taste okay.

I was really craving a Bockwurst in a bun. The advertising sign looked delicious, too. But I was quickly disappointed. A bun containing a mini wiener sausage was supposed to be my Bockwurst. Absolutely not recommended! Stick to the sandwich and skip the Bockwurst in a bun. Especially not for €3.99. Remove the advertising sign. PLEASE!

Actually, I wouldn't complain about being 10 minutes late. Especially not when there is a logical explanation for it. I ordered today before 1 p.m. via Lieferando for 4 p.m. The delivery person was 10 minutes late and explained to me that his shift didn't start until 4 p.m. The gentleman was very friendly and I am aware that he cannot help with the planning. But I don't understand why someone is used for a scheduled delivery at 4 p.m. who can't stick to that time at all and why this isn't communicated to me. Especially since there would have been enough time between my order and delivery. Nevertheless: The food was great and the delivery person also earned his tip thanks to his friendliness.

The ultimate alternative to the classic fish roll from the stand. Here you get a good roll to go with the delicious fish. Cozy atmosphere and super nice service. Of course there are other sandwiches besides fish. Good value for money. If you're in the north, be sure to stop by. It's worth it.

You actually get the usual stuff that is also available at the well-known sandwich chain. Personally, I like it better than the competition and the lady in particular is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable as a customer. The sandwich comes quickly and the quality is good! I can recommend it without hesitation

I actually like the beach sandwich, but there are two things that aren't so cool. Once, with my last order, I had sweets that had expired a long time ago & on their page it says, for example, that they deliver today until 8:00 p.m., but you can't get through by phone and it's not possible to order online because it shows everywhere that they're closed .

Mega delicious and top filled sandwiches that you can put together to suit your taste. Staff super accommodating and very friendly. Strandstulle Norden is always worth a visit. We will be back.

Leider hat der Laden des öfteren geschlossen aber im Internet steht das er geöffnet hat das müsste man korrigieren damit man auch bescheid weiß sonst fährt man umsonst dort hin

Einfach lecker, super frische Qualität mit klasse Service. Hier bestellen wir einfach gerne ;).

Seit langem habe ich mal wieder eine Stulle Vorort bestellt. Allerdings war ich von dem Zustand der Zutaten sehr erschrocken. Gemüse total vertrocknet, und der Mais lag in milchiger Flüssigkeit. Alles in allem konnte man dann zusätzlich an den Fruchtfliegen sehen, dass alle Zutaten schon etwas länger liegen. Ich suchte mir aus den Zutaten das Beste aus. War allerdings wieder enttäuscht, als die Stulle nur leicht erwärmt über den Tresen gegeben wurde. Normalerweise ist das Erlebnis bei Strandstulle alles, aber nicht so eine Enttäuschung wie an diesem Tag.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man kann sich sehr gut mit denen Unterhalten während man sich seine Stulle zubereiten lässt. Bei den Stullen gibt es auch nichts zu meckern. Immer frische Zutaten! Immer wieder gerne👍🏼

Ich war heute hier, hatte ein Sandwich mit Falaffeln. Ich war sehr zufrieden, es gab eine gute Auswahl an Grundsorten, Brot, Käse und Saucen und Salat/Gemüse. Die Innhaberin war sehr freundlich, die Preise fair. Ich kommen gerne wieder.

Drinnen kann man aber auch gemütlich sitzen. Sehr ansprechend und bequem. Einrichtung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2 grosse Kaffee 5,20€. Preisleistung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kann die schlechten Bewertungen nur entkräften. Wie man in den Wald hineinschreit, so kommt es auch wieder raus.😉 Und wer Fehler suchen will, findet auch welche. Zum Beispkel zu schreiben es sei überteuert. Beim Original gelb/grünen Anbieter kostet der Veggie Delite 4,10€, bei der Strandstulle 3,70€. Zum Nachdenken. ☝🏻 Weiter so.👍🏻👍🏻

Korrektes Ding. Grünkohl-Hanf mit allem drauf geht richtig ab.

Zufällig mit den Fahrrädern vor der Strandstulle gestoppt und alles richtig gemacht. Wir entschieden uns für die Tagesstulle. Den Softdrink gegen Kaffee zu tauschen, war kein Problem. Wir erlebten eine sehr freundliche und engagierte Mitarbeiterin/Chefin. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Top.
