We'll be back! The fish was very tasty, with a large and great selection. Finally a restaurant with 3 portion sizes, there is certainly the right size for every hunger. The service was very friendly and we also liked the ambience. This is how I imagine a fish restaurant, where it tastes even better. Great, thank you.

On Sundays at lunchtime there is no problem finding a place for 4 people. Get a wheelchair. Service very helpful. Food very fresh and super tasty. Disadvantage: Toilet not accessible for people with walking difficulties as it is on the upper floor.

We visited the Seestern restaurant for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled with the service and the food. Everything fit perfectly. We would love to come back.

A wonderful restaurant. The fish is delicious and cooked perfectly. It tastes really good and I can only recommend visiting the restaurant. I've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The staff was always courteous and friendly. There is no reservation possible so you may sometimes have to wait a few minutes but it's worth it!

Very good cuisine, I had the Admiral plate, I can only recommend it. The fish was a 2+, the accompanying fried potatoes were a 1 with an asterisk. No reservations are accepted. There may be some waiting time involved. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated. You feel comfortable, the waiters are very quick and attentive. The deduction of 4 out of 5 points is due to the toilets. These are located on the upper floor and can be accessed via a spiral staircase. This poses problems for people with disabilities. The toilets were clean. I can recommend the restaurant.

There's a good reason why you see people queuing here in the evenings. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating, the food is authentic and freshly caught, if you want to eat good fish you should definitely go here. My recommendation: definitely try out the fish head (it's best to eat it with your hands to get the most out of the meat) and definitely order the in-house tartar sauce, which I personally would have liked to take home in a canister. If we go on holiday nearby again we will definitely come back. Worth mentioning for beer drinkers: the only shop that doesn't serve beer from the big German standard breweries and it tastes good!

Located in the immediate vicinity of the dike, typical - and I don't mean that in a negative way - tourist inn for this location. Friendly employees, fast service, decent quality on the plate, well eaten, espresso after the meal, bill paid... and after 35 to max. 45 minutes the table is cleared for the following guests... this is how you ensure sales and throughput 😉

Located right on the dike, there was no way around this restaurant. We became aware of it back in the summer because our regional beer was being served. Unfortunately there was no time to eat. We changed that last week right on the day of arrival (and two more times in one week, haha) And we were really excited!! The schnitzel came as a frozen product - as we expected - but the breading was still loose and the meat was juicy!! The fish is perfectly cooked with a fluffy, delicious egg shell, the crabs are tender and fresh. My personal highlight, however, were the fried potatoes. They are made from regional potatoes and are peeled fresh every morning. Sooooo well seasoned that it doesn't even need bacon to achieve a good taste. Okay, enough about the food. Let's come to personal: This restaurant was more than full every evening. Working at the limit. Nevertheless, we were always warmly served and there was always time for a little chat. Everyone was always courteous, kind and always on the ball! See you soon! ❤️

First of all, I have to praise the staff, without exception everything was top notch, especially how smaller children are looked after when they are bored (pen and pad to bridge the waiting time and at the end a bag of gummy bears - what child's heart wouldn't shine with that ?) Portions are absolutely okay, you can live with the price, but what was a no go for me is, as is often the case, these disgusting bags of frozen vegetables - has anyone ever eaten that there? It's best for the cook to try the crap himself. For the prices I would rather expect less but fresh please?! My humble opinion on this.

Good food - the surroundings ruin it ******************************************** So first of all: the food is delicious! Not the best, but also far from the worst! But: You can't reserve a table - it's simply not offered. Even when I said that there were 9 of us and would like to sit together, it didn't change anything. You should come to the restaurant and be patient. For me this would have been the end of it, but my in-laws wanted to go here because they knew the restaurant from previous holidays. When we arrived on site, we were told - 1 hour waiting time, at least! Or you can sit outside, which wasn't our favorite given the weather. Furthermore, the service was very cheeky and cheeky. An attempt was made to make this inappropriate behavior funny with a grin - but it didn't really work. There were also several errors when taking the order so that some dishes were missing or the wrong thing was brought. Woman in her late 50s with a Russian accent, short blonde hair. Result: no tip. And then the price: it's just too expensive. Far too expensive for what is offered. Would we come back again? Probably just on the verge of starvation.

Super tasty fish here will satisfy everyone. There are different sized portions. It's best to get there a little earlier otherwise you have to wait outside until space becomes available inside.

Even if the restaurant is full, a table will be available after a short wait and you will be greeted with a smile. The food is great in a clean atmosphere. We had the sailor plate, both the boiled potatoes and the baked potato were delicious with the salmon fillet. These are also available for people who prefer small portions, or an extra large portion for those who are extremely hungry.

Very warm, nice and courteous service and really really good and tasty food. We had crab soup, a small portion of Matjes Hausfrau and fried pollock with fried potatoes. Everything was delicious. We would love to come back and can only recommend it to everyone else.

We each ordered a small portion of plaice there. Changes to the supplement were free of charge. 👍 The plaice was delicious. The young man who served us on the 1st floor this evening was super nice 😀

Although everything was full except for the last seat and we had to wait 10 minutes until a table became available (we passed the time by studying the menu), we (2 adults and 2 children) were welcomed after we sat down at the table , quick and friendly service. The drinks arrived at our place very quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive. Everything was served at the same time, was freshly prepared and extremely tasty! We all enjoyed it very much. We will definitely come back!!

If you like eating mussels, you can enjoy them here. But other fish dishes are also available in three sizes. Something for everyone.

Had a delicious meal here in January. Small dishes that you can taste for a few euros, fish dish is really sublime for that money. You have to take into account the waiting outside. Or eat sooner or later. Highly recommended.

Hier twee keer gegeten, vergeten te beoordelen. Hier kun je echt heerlijk eten voor prijzen van voor de Corona crisis. Het vis is vers en heerlijk gekruid. Sommigen klagen over de bediening, er was toen 1 vrouwelijke bediende die echt onbeschoft was, de rest is zeer vriendelijk! Dat buiten wachten moet je maar incalculeren. Of vroeg of laat gaan eten. Wat ook leuk is, je kan kleine porties voor bv 1 a 2 euro bestellen om even te proeven. Nog nooit meegemaakt. Gaan komend jaar speciaal met de caravan hier naar toe om weer bij Seerster te gaan eten en drinken. Aanrader!!!

Der Seestern, sicher kann man über das Ambiente diskutieren. Klar ist auch, es ist ein gut besuchtes Lokal in Norddeich und es ist ein Fischlokal. Wir haben gerne eine Wartezeit in Kauf genommen. Uns hat es nicht gestört, dass viele Gäste, wie auch dort essen wollten. Von den netten Mitarbeiterinne wurden wir zuvorkommend bedient. Die Getränke kamen nach der Bestellung sehr zügig. Auch die Essen ließen nicht lange auf sich warten Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir werden wieder mal reinschauen.

We've been traveling north for 8 years, but have never been to Seestern. Unfortunately I have to write now! It's just delicious! The staff is just super friendly and on the ball. Most dishes come in three sizes, so there is something to suit every appetite. The garlic sauce is also great. We will come back the next time we are up there. Keep it up! And to the young waiter - stay as you are, your tip is guaranteed! 👌👍🏻🙏

Unfortunately there are no reservations. This means that you simply wait until a guest leaves the restaurant and then you are assigned the free table. But it's worth the wait. You get to talk to other guests waiting on the street, which is also very interesting. The service is great, the menu is varied, everyone will find something. Everything tastes good.

Nice Frisian restaurant in the middle of town and right on the dike. About 10 tables outside and 20 inside on 2 floors. Fast and friendly service and a menu with a large selection, especially of fish. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, we really enjoyed it.

We were here for dinner on October 1st, 2024, it was super tasty and the price was totally right. What I think is great is that almost all of the dishes are available in small, medium and large sizes and everyone can also take small, regardless of whether they are adults or children, because small portions are usually only offered for children or seniors, but luckily not here. I ate for less than 20 euros. I had a small schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and fries, my friend for over 20 euros but he also had a medium-sized steak I will definitely come back. I'm annoyed that I visited the Seestern for the first time even though I've been to Norddeich a few times.

We ate here on Saturday. My daughter has celiac disease and I asked if they could also prepare fish gluten-free. She wanted to have pollock in an egg shell with fried potatoes. It wasn't a problem at all and was brought to her. I ordered it too and can only say thank you again. It was super tasty and my daughter was overjoyed. And also very important to mention is the real friendliness of the employees. We felt completely comfortable. Thanks alot.

We found this beautiful fish restaurant online and were escorted to a table straight away, even without a reservation. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Special requests were addressed and taken into account. The starters and main courses were brought to the table quickly and without a long wait. The staff always tried to ensure that all guests were completely satisfied. We'd love to come back. It was a really nice dinner.
