You can't sit more beautifully and eat delicious food.

We've gradually noticed a decline in the quality of the food, as we've been dining at your restaurant for years. If you advertise "homemade," you shouldn't be selling frozen food, whether it's cake, schnitzel, or fish and chips... Unfortunately, it seems that culinary skills are no longer necessary, since you're only selling convenience foods (cucumber salad, remoulade, etc.).

Stopped here after a beach walk from Koserow as the rain started to fall... Very cozy with a great view of the Baltic Sea - friendly service, and the fish solyanka was delicious 😋 - could have been a bit bigger. We enjoyed it - we'd love to go back 😉 Highly recommended 👍

The food was very good and beautifully presented. The restroom was very small, especially if you're traveling with small children. The view was beautiful. The service was friendly without being intrusive.

We've been on the island for decades, but only discovered it on this vacation. On the first day, we had coffee and cake, and the very next day we treated ourselves to dinner. The waiters are all very friendly and helpful, and dogs are welcome, too. If you call ahead of time, you can even reserve a table with a view of the Baltic Sea.

Hello Utkiek Team I can't understand all the positive reviews you've received for your food and everything else. Last night, five of us were there to try out local restaurants for future visits, and your restaurant is definitely not on our list after last night. At €200 and over an hour's wait for the bill, you don't need to ask for a tip. If you want a decent, delicious meal, then get in your car and come visit me at my restaurant. Every time we're in Ückeritz, this is a must. Everything is delicious. Cappuccino, apple strudel, and lunch are also included. A fantastic view of the Baltic Sea. Excellent service. You simply have to try it. Five points aren't enough. At least 10 stars.

An absolute insider tip. The location is unbeatable, on the beach in Ückeritz with a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea. Our meal was delicious, and so was the ice cream sundae afterward. Large terrace and beautifully decorated interior. Service was very friendly and quick. Highly recommended! We'd love to come back again.

The table was beautifully set for a 70th birthday party. Everyone enjoyed the food. The cake with coffee was amazing. Everything was homemade. Simply delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable. Thank you so much!

The view is very nice, and the food was also decent. However, the price is too high, and the waiter told us, "Please don't tip me," that the tip was too small for him. So, we certainly won't be visiting the restaurant again.

No recommendations! We had very fond memories of the restaurant from a visit years ago, partly because of the large selection of fish dishes. We were very disappointed; the view from the terrace is the only thing worth mentioning. The selection of fish dishes was inadequate (except for herring in various forms), the quality was below average, and the service seemed irritated. What a shame about the great location.

Dear Utkiek Team, We were with you for dinner last night. Five stars aren't enough. We received a warm welcome without a reservation on a Sunday evening. Everything was perfectly coordinated. The gentleman who served our table always had a lighthearted joke and was very attentive and child-friendly. The menu has something for everyone. Super delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit ☀️🤗🌊😊

What a beautiful view. The ambiance, the friendliness of the staff, and the food were all impressive. We had lunch first, then went to the beach, and rounded off the trip with ice cream and cake. Suitable for families, as the playground and beach are nearby. Reservations for the terrace seem necessary in the evening. Easy access via the central parking lot. One of our highlights of our Usedom vacation was our visit to Strandcafe Utkiek. The incredible view of the sea, the excellent quality and selection of food, and the friendly, attentive staff will always be remembered by me and my family. I noticed for the first time that my family doesn't eat there anymore. The fried potatoes, if you can call them that, could have really used more heat; some were still raw and greasy. The bacon and onions were good in there, not too raw or burnt. The tomato-coated zucchini was simply lettuce from a jar with zucchini chopped into it. The schnitzel was bland and wasn't even breaded. I really enjoyed it here as a child and teenager, but today it's a different restaurant, unfortunately. It's sad that this restaurant used to have such good, talented chefs featured in the newspaper. A friend was here with his family from near Leipzig, and we wanted to go out to eat. Since many restaurants were closed or had too many reservations, we stopped here. The view of the Baltic Sea was a beautiful experience, but that was it. As a trained chef myself, I could have cooked much better food for my friend and his family at home. My aunt received a gift certificate for Utkick from her sons for her birthday. Just to be on the safe side, I'll go shopping and prepare a dish of her choice.

A truly special feature was the herring offer: "Eat as many herring as you can – for the same price!" Not only was it filling, but it also created a fun little competition. Truly delicious! 😋 The highlight of the week was, among other things, the homemade sea buckthorn cake 👌 Several layers of cream and a sea buckthorn mousse (sour, sweet & very aromatic) on top the perfect combination 😋 You (or rather, your wife 😉) would have loved a second piece 😑 But there was no room 🤰😅 - Value for money 🔝 We thank you again from the bottom of our hearts & would happily recommend you to others… We give you the full 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We went to Utkieck for dinner yesterday; we both had delicious fish dishes. It was quick, everyone was friendly, and the sea view was amazing. Highly recommended.

The pickled and fried herring was excellent, the schnitzel was so-so, and the fried potatoes seemed to be pre-made. The waitress was great, but we had to wait 70 minutes even though it wasn't busy. That's annoying, especially since all the other guests who arrived after us got their food much faster, hence the deductions in the rating.

The fried items had a peculiar flavor. Overall, though, the food was solid and good. Unfortunately, the service became less friendly toward the end.

A very nice location above the beautiful beach in Ückeritz. A very attractive restaurant with lots of decorations on the walls. The food was mostly delicious. Only the cucumber salad was quite bland. The fish could have used a bit more seasoning. But otherwise, everything was excellent. Very friendly service, and special requests were easily accommodated.

The food was okay. Pricing was okay. If you order fries instead of potato salad and have to pay €1 for it, and you're also charged for tartar sauce when you're spending €60, then you might as well think about the service. I also can't understand the extremely unfriendly manner of some of the service staff. It could be better.

Good food, and you can look out over the Baltic Sea from the terrace. A visit is definitely worth it.

This café has now become a must for us when we are on holiday on the island.

Unfortunately, the service and food aren't what they were a few years ago. The food is still tasty, but has declined. They only serve Störtebecker beer, and there's no alternative for those who don't like that.

The staff was... yes, friendly, but very stressed. The next table had to wait over an hour for their food. Sorry --> the note fell down, it happens sometimes. Then the wrong food arrived, and our table neighbor was asked if they wanted to eat it anyway... um, NO!!!!! Well, we had a little more luck with our meal. It wasn't anything special, but it tasted good. The ambiance was rather nonexistent. Inside, it was totally dated, and outside it had more of a snack bar feel. Such a shame, because with THAT location and THAT view, you could really make something of it!!!!!

Beautiful view of the Baltic Sea from the terrace. I ate fish soup with a slice of white bread, followed by a cappuccino with apple strudel. It tasted quite good. The portions, however, seemed a bit meager to me.

We were regulars at Utkiek for many years; eating there was our "arrival ritual." Unfortunately, that was completely eradicated some time ago, and since then, our former regular restaurant has only seen us from a distance. What happened? It started with obvious disregard by the waitress, a very bad-tempered gentleman in his early 50s. After what felt like 20 minutes, we were finally able to order, and the terrace was only a third full. The food was excellent as always, which, despite the grumpy and very slow service, resulted in a generous tip (about €5 for three meals). The remaining euro we were owed was silently thrown onto the table in small change. It's also worth mentioning that we received a ticket from the Usedom parking authority for illegal parking, even though we had a valid parking ticket in our car. Only the bumper of our Auros protruded about 10 cm over the markings, as the caravan behind us was blocking three spaces behind us, and he didn't have a ticket. Objection was futile despite photos... our conclusion: never again Ückeritz, never again Utkiek! Update: Apparently, there are attempts to delete our review due to alleged defamation. All we can say is: It all happened exactly as it happened! We're happy to answer any questions you may have.

We went there as a family. The service seemed cold and listless. The menu only offered fish dishes and no vegetarian options. The outdoor area was a bit neglected. However, the food was good and fresh.
