The beach bar has a suitable offer in its portfolio for every need. We had already had lunch elsewhere. A small but chic selection of cakes came at just the right time. Unfortunately there was no more ice cream, although the ice cream menu was still displayed everywhere. Since the weather was bad, we stayed in the beach bar and made a virtue of necessity. The hot drinks we ordered were good, the cake tasted delicious and the mood noticeably improved. And our service staff had great patience with the indecisive “tormenters” 👩‍👦 👨‍👦💑.

As a vegan, I don't find much, but what I find tastes good. Magnificent view over the beach and really friendly and accommodating staff. Really sweet. Not overpriced for the great location.

Customer service sends regards, no alternative offered. And the volume is unbearable.

Nice restaurant / café near Kugelbake Cuxhaven with a great view of the ships coming and going ⛴️🛳. Drinks ☕️🍺, small snacks 🍟, fish sandwiches or menu - everything is available on the menu. We were there with a smaller group and chose a place in the wind-protected “winter garden”. Despite the tense staff situation, we were served quickly and friendly. Great and thank you very much. 🙏 Everything is also very tasty 😋. Absolutely recommended 👍

After waiting 40 minutes I was allowed to order, but I had to get the card myself. After several suggestions to the waiter/waitress, our order was taken and our food arrived after 30 minutes

The view is very nice, but unfortunately that doesn't help if the kitchen is closed from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and there are only drinks available. There's also a lack of cleanliness in the toilets and what you see in the open kitchen isn't any better A quick beer is probably ok but nothing more

In the outdoor area you can have a wonderful view of the North Sea. It's delicious and some of it is freshly prepared. Very little seating inside. There is also a large covered outdoor area.

Been here a few times but the overpriced food is at best average every time, which is not uncommon in places like this. But what really annoys me is that I went there specifically to get an iced coffee to go (normally no problem) and I was sent away in a bad way or to another cafe. We stood in line there for ages and then found out that they didn't have an ice cream parlor (anymore). If you scare away your customers because of such a small effort, then it doesn't seem to be that important.

Bremer and fried fish rolls were sold out at the beach lounge. Both were still in stock in the beach bar that belonged to it, but only for on-site consumption. Since we wanted to make it obvious, this catering establishment has now made no sales. If he can afford it... Here you go!

Nice little beach bar, right on the beach. Here you have a beautiful view of the North Sea and the ships passing by. Food and drink is okay, the price is appropriate for the location. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant can also be reached barrier-free via the footpath on the dam in the direction of kugelbarke.

The view is unbearable! Unfortunately the staff isn't that attentive, dirty cups, spoons and the sugar shaker didn't look inviting either. Next time I'll go one store further.

Mooi plekje aan de monding van de Elbe. Omdat de keuken gesloten is, en het weer het toeliet, hebben wij hier chocolademelk met slagroom besteld.

You still get something on your plate for your money. Whether it's herring in a roll or soup, everything is delicious. You can also sit there and relax very well. You have to get your own food and drink, the staff is friendly and it's clean too. We enjoyed going there.

Absolutely comfortable. It is not possible to be more directly on the beach. Good selection of food and drinks. And a great playground for children.

The food didn't convince us at all and was too expensive in my opinion. Apparently a lot of frozen or other "prefabricated" goods. E.g. four small frozen rösti with some applesauce for almost ten euros. Portions generally manageable in size. Service mixed. Sometimes good, sometimes almost non-existent. In the evening at 8 p.m. - despite being open until 9 p.m. - we were no longer able to order an ice cream sundae, only soft ice cream. Everything has already been tidied up in the kitchen. About ten minutes later, an ice cream sundae order was taken at the neighboring table (by another service worker) and later delivered. Great view of the North Sea. Toilets are the general beach toilets. If there were nice alternatives near the beach, we wouldn't have come here so often. But the location is a criterion. Conclusion: Drinks and ice cream are welcome here. Eat when you really want to eat something on the beach. If you value high-quality food and want good value for money, it's better to go somewhere else.

We were pressured by the waitress to order immediately without looking at the menu because she only had a quarter of an hour left... never experienced anything so unfriendly and with two small children. The view is beautiful.

The halibut we ordered was a hit, not dry in the slightest and melted in the mouth. The fried potatoes were also very good. Thanks to the kitchen. I recently visited the North Sea coast in Germany and it was one of those holidays that you remember with a smile. First of all, the North Sea is something special. The water is refreshing, even if you think “refreshing” is a euphemism for “icy.” But this is exactly what gives vigor and energy! The beaches here are spacious and clean, you can calmly lie on the sand, listening to the sound of the waves and not worrying about your neighbors, who usually make barbecue on every free piece of land. If you love water sports, there are all conditions for kiting and surfing. Although, to be honest, my attempts to stand on the board were more reminiscent of a comedy than a sporting achievement. But laughter and joy are also an important part of the holiday! The atmosphere on the coast is simply wonderful. Local cafes and restaurants offer delicious food, especially fresh seafood. I think I ate so many shrimp that I almost needed gills! Sunsets over the North Sea are a different story. You sit on the shore in the evening, watch the sun slowly sink into the water, and you feel like the main character of a romantic film. True, in my case, it was rather comedic, considering how I forgot to put on cream and looked like boiled crayfish. If you're looking for a holiday full of fun, fresh air and incredible scenery, the North Sea in Germany is the perfect destination. I returned from there with a lot of pleasant memories and plans to return again.

Everything was fine, but if you sit outside you have to pay straight away, which is a bit inconvenient if you want to reorder something.

Unfortunately there is nothing to eat! We arrived at 2 p.m. and saw a sign at the entrance saying that the kitchen takes a break between 3 and 4 p.m. We were ignored for 25 minutes, only to be told at 2:30 p.m. that the kitchen was already busy and we couldn't get anything to eat. And in an unfriendly and indifferent tone. It's a shame about the time.

We have been here many times and have never been disappointed. Delicious food and nice team. There is also a place to sit not only inside but also outside. We'd love to come back!!

Great location, nice view of the beach. 6€ beer and system catering... If you want to supply a chemical factory, you've come to the right place, dyed fish, sauces with flavor enhancers. Germany where are your chefs? Is it so difficult to make a sour cream by stirring a little rosemary into quark? For tourist prices you should at least cook decently... Sad

We arrived at lunchtime and were able to get one of the last places in great weather. The staff was nice and quick. The prices were reasonable, but on the higher end. The food was at the table quickly and at least ours was perfect and plentiful. The location is not directly next to the other locations on the beach, which is why the outdoor area is a little quieter than in the Duhnen area. We would come back.

We were there twice. The first time everything was great. We sat outside on the right side. The service there was quick and friendly. The second time we sat on the left side. We had to wait 30 minutes even though it wasn't that busy to place a drink order. However, the service that followed was again very friendly. There were 3 service people inside and everyone was waiting outside. Some even left again. However, it tastes very good here and the view is fantastic.

It was cozy and warm inside but not too warm. The caramel ice cream was simply delicious.

This magical place saved us from the bad weather. Service was very friendly, even if there were 30 people soaking wet in the door all of a sudden. The food is freshly prepared and really tasty. And the view of Kugelbake and the beach was a pleasure, even in fantastic weather.

It's well run, everything holiday-like, a little crowded and more comfortable seats in the shade. But overall it's all well and good. Advantage, right on the beach and can be enjoyed by the whole family. Personal highlight, Easter fire.
