I was there today with a friend and her daughter. Highly recommended. I haven't been served so nicely and cheerfully in a long time. The food was excellent. Sorry again that it was so busy outside because of us because all the tables had to be unlocked again 😅😅

We were really looking forward to the visit, as we have been going there on holiday for many years and have enjoyed it very much. This time it took over half an hour (and not all seats were occupied) until the only person who was allowed to take orders and collect bills had time for new guests, while various porters would have had free capacity. The furnishings are now pretty unkempt and the cleanliness of the room also left a lot to be desired. That used to be much better. The price for a piece of cake was hefty, but it was really bad ready-made cake. Too bad. The view is beautiful, but unfortunately it doesn't make up for everything.

An outdated restaurant. I would rather call this “lucky up” gastronomy. Because if you're lucky, it's open. And when it's open, you might be told when you've just sat down that the last round of orders has just finished. So, we could go again. And that at 3:45 p.m. You don't know why cake is offered at all. Something like this has happened to us twice in 7 days. Both times we stopped at the Beach House, also located on the beach. A very nicely decorated restaurant with obviously professionals at work. Now the beach bar in Döse is done for us.

Great location and beautiful view. Unfortunately we couldn't eat anything because the waitress noticed us but nothing came to us. After waiting for an hour we left. Others who came after us and sat at the neighboring table were served.

The location right on the beach with a view of the North Sea and the ships coming and going from the Elbe is fantastic. But the food and friendly service are really very good. Even though it was very busy, drinks and food were delivered in a very short time. From the fish to the meatloaf to the currywurst, everything was great, and the side dishes (fried potatoes, potato salad, fries) were also very good and extensive. The price is also completely acceptable - especially given this location. We'd love to come back.

Relaxed stay with a great atmosphere! The Cuxhaven Döse beach bar impresses with a wonderful location right on the water, which makes the ambience particularly pleasant. The cozy interior with lots of plants and an open fireplace creates a relaxed atmosphere - perfect for ending the day on the beach. The food was delicious, but the selection could be a little more varied. The service was friendly, although the orders could have come a little quicker. Despite some minor drawbacks, it was a nice visit that I can definitely recommend. If you're looking for a relaxed bar with a sea view in Cuxhaven, you've come to the right place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Food simple but good and fair prices, view is the be-all and end-all there

Unfortunately, food is too expensive for being so carelessly prepared. Cake is predominantly a finished product. Things were forgotten during service, the cutlery only came when we pointed it out and the food had long since arrived.

Been here a total of 5 times in the last 5 years and always had a great stay. No matter what time of year. You will be served very nicely and, above all, quickly, there is plenty on offer, what more could you want? The view towards the lake is simply priceless. I/we will be back!!!

Unfortunately we had to wait far too long (20 minutes) for three hot drinks with a shot, and the price of €7.90 per glass of mulled wine with a shot was too high! A young, overwhelmed team.

It can happen that a lot of the cakes on offer are already sold out by 4 p.m.

Today we (family with 2 children) were on the terrace. The parents drank coffee and lattes while the children played in the mudflats. Then we wanted to eat something together. Since we had 20 minutes before 12 and the order was only possible at 12, which the waitress told us, we waited. The tables next to us filled up and “only” drinks were taken there. At 12 o'clock the service staff came back to the tables and took the food there, even though we had already said that we wanted to eat something and had also given signs that we wanted to order. This absolutely leads to resentment among children. The panorama on the terrace is great, you can sit here, enjoy the sun and watch the children play in the mudflats. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because we decided to leave after all the other tables had ordered. In order to avoid the children having to wait even longer and go hungry. Because they would then have seen that the other guests (who came later) would have gotten their tickets earlier. Unfortunately, no way.

Super delicious, amazing view if you sit properly, there's also something for the children to play with if they get bored. Nice service, you'll be happy to come back!

The beach bar has a suitable offer in its portfolio for every need. We had already had lunch elsewhere. A small but chic selection of cakes came at just the right time. Unfortunately there was no more ice cream, although the ice cream menu was still displayed everywhere. Since the weather was bad, we stayed in the beach bar and made a virtue of necessity. The hot drinks we ordered were good, the cake tasted delicious and the mood noticeably improved. And our service staff had great patience with the indecisive “tormenters” 👩‍👦 👨‍👦💑.

Nice restaurant / café near Kugelbake Cuxhaven with a great view of the ships coming and going ⛴️🛳. Drinks ☕️🍺, small snacks 🍟, fish sandwiches or menu - everything is available on the menu. We were there with a smaller group and chose a place in the wind-protected “winter garden”. Despite the tense staff situation, we were served quickly and friendly. As a vegan, I don't find much, but what I find tastes good. Magnificent view over the beach and really friendly and accommodating staff. Really sweet. Not overpriced for the great location.

After waiting 40 minutes I was allowed to order, but I had to get the card myself. After several suggestions to the waiter/waitress, our order was taken and our food arrived after 30 minutes

In the outdoor area you can have a wonderful view of the North Sea. It's delicious and some of it is freshly prepared. Very little seating inside. There is also a large covered outdoor area.

Bremer and fried fish rolls were sold out at the beach lounge. Both were still in stock in the beach bar that belonged to it, but only for on-site consumption. Since we wanted to make it obvious, this catering establishment has now made no sales. If he can afford it... Here you go!

Been here a few times but the overpriced food is at best average every time, which is not uncommon in places like this. But what really annoys me is that I went there specifically to get an iced coffee to go (normally no problem) and I was sent away in a bad way or to another cafe. We stood in line there for ages and then found out that they didn't have an ice cream parlor (anymore). If you scare away your customers because of such a small effort, then it doesn't seem to be that important.

Nice little beach bar, right on the beach. Here you have a beautiful view of the North Sea and the ships passing by. Food and drink is okay, the price is appropriate for the location. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant can also be reached barrier-free via the footpath on the dam in the direction of kugelbarke.
