Unfortunately, the situation in the port area is bleak. The furnishings seem thrown together somehow. Cold drafts near windows. The food overall was loveless. The burger was OK, but not a revelation either. The “medium” steak we ordered came “well done”. The lobster - which was tasty - was served with dry noodles without sauce. It wasn't much fun to eat here.

We are looking for an authentic US bar in Germany. After a long search we finally found you! Absolutely great atmosphere, the boss comes around and talks to everyone. The food is neither too much nor too little. None of them taste like chemicals. It sits exactly as it should, with a cozy bar with a rustic US flair and absolutely excellent service. Always there, on your toes and reading your every wish. Everyone who comes here is not leaving for the last time, there will always be a reunion. Parking spaces available all around because of the commercial area. Update yesterday (11/22/24) Been there again, everything was great and delicious. No deterioration, card payment possible. Anyone expecting a 5-star bunker will be disappointed. It's neighborly, go in, have something to eat and drink and talk a little nonsense. That is the goal of this location. The boss implements this wonderfully, nice conversations in a cultivated atmosphere.

Unfortunately the burger wasn't good. The meat had no taste and the patty was fried to death. It's a shame because it's a nice location.

Best store. Original American food and ambience. It's always very tasty. You can watch NFL on Sundays and the service is very fast and friendly.

The service wasn't really friendly, seemed lazy and not motivated, empty glasses weren't noticed, everything somehow takes longer. The atmosphere is a disaster, flickering ceiling lights, constant beeping from smoke detectors (changing the battery would help), lots of small flies in the guest area. The burger was ok, nothing special, the fries unsalted, the sweet potatoes unsalted. Overall, a once and never again experience.

We expected more. The restaurant was highly recommended so I decided to try it out. It's Saturday so we attempted to reserve a table for 4 online. We didn't hear back so we called. They said they couldn't see the reservation, but they could accommodate. When we arrived, I saw that it's really a beautiful building located in the middle of an industrial area. No problem finding a parking spot, and somehow the location added to the charm. We went in, and there's American kitch to the decor. Nothing exaggerated, but pleasant. The table was large and the seats were comfortable. That's where things changed. We were 2 adults with 2 children. Both boys were really hungry, so during the drink order, I asked if we could get a couple of orders of onion rings as an appetizer. We then waited. And waited. Drinks almost 30 minutes and appetizer 40 minutes. The restaurant was not full and there appeared to be adequate wait staff. An additional drink order was forgotten and had to be placed again. This arrived 25 minutes later with our order. I ordered the largest burger medium rare with double cheese and double bacon and BBQ sauce. My burger was literally a hockey puck and as dry as the Sahara. No BBQ sauce, one little slice of process cheese and 3 two inch burned slices of a bacon looking substance. The other orders were also wrong and similarly sub standard. If it weren't for the kids, I would have left, paying only for the drinks. I had heard good things, but this was one of the worst burger joints I've visited. And expensive! 2 orders of rings, 3 burgers 🍔 and fries, 1 children's chicken nuggets, 1 beer, and 5 soft drinks for a total of 90€. I won't be back.

The food is typically American and damn tasty!!! It was our first visit to this bar. The ambience is American, the atmosphere is relaxed and there is great music playing (a matter of taste, of course). The service is very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and at the end there was a schnapps on the house with the boss. We can only recommend it :)

Obwohl ich telefonisch vorbestellt hatte, mussten wir ewig warten. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert ! Dieses Restaurant hat auf den vordersten Plätzen gar nichts verloren !

We went to Steve's Bar for the first time yesterday. To put it briefly, the food and service were perfect. All 4 of us tried the all you can eat buffet first and were more than satisfied. Our highlight were the spare ribs but everything else was of course also very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

Very important you can pay by card... Six of us had dinner at Steve's. We had reserved in advance and got a place without any problems. After we were all seated, we immediately placed our drink order, which was processed immediately by the service. When the drinks were delivered, we already ordered our food. We were looking for the best spare rips in the area. And what can I say...guys, THESE WERE THE GREATEST SPARE RIPS I HAVE EVER EATEN!!!! Buttery tender meat that falls right off the bone, deliciously seasoned and the right BBQ sauce. Thumbs UP 👍🏻 to the super nice team and to the cool boss!! I will definitely come by more often!!! Were there today. It seemed as if the staff had been overwhelmed. The service was not satisfactory. Among other things, one of my companions was served a beer, the bottle of which was tipped over by the young waiter at the bar. So it was only 2/3 full. The bottle wasn't exchanged, it was just foisted on us. As I write this, I also realize that I paid for fries that I never received with my Buffalo wings. So I was actually ripped off. It's a shame, but at least the people were friendly. But everything like that is evaluated and judged! Our tip was still generous, but we will never set foot in the restaurant again, nor will we be able to recommend it to friends and acquaintances or rate it positively on platforms. I was there in November and it was already poor. Now it was a bit better, even though we were cheated twice here today, but you can't give more than two chances in the catering industry. A real shame. Nevertheless, I wish the operators every success in getting back on a good branch, even if we can never judge that ourselves.

Great food! Fair price. Was there on an all you can eat Thursday and was really good! If you have to criticize, it's just that the furniture is a bit "rocked down". But you can really put up with the wings and ribs!

Typical American food: steaks, spare ribs, burgers, mac'n cheese, etc. There's even a root beer float. Service is also top: If the steak doesn't fit (e.g. too cooked), a new one is promptly made and an apology and thanks are also apologized and thanked by the boss personally, as is appropriate. Many others should follow this example. Most of the others are just discussed rather than settled accommodatingly. Quality and portions also good, taste anyway. Sometimes it's difficult to get a seat because it's always quite busy. The quality speaks for itself.

First of all, the owner is unique, but that's about it... The service was inattentive, unfriendly and you had the impression that they didn't want to do their job. Buffet was lukewarm and that has little to do with being truly American. The whole restaurant is very run down, the men's toilets made the best impression. Dusty everywhere, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The seating area is half falling apart. For a €25 buffet I would have expected a little more. You could at least bring some fresh paint to the store and use two bottles of glass cleaner to make it somewhat livable. I won't come back again.

Hier ist 1 Punkt noch zu viel.

One point is still too many!!! A reservation for 4 people is not possible by phone, only online, according to information when we called the restaurant. No sooner said than done, an online request for a table was made in 5 days. According to the information email, my online request would be accepted promptly. After 2 days still no information. Nobody could be reached by phone either. On the 4th day I received a telephone call saying that no table was available. What frustration when you have to find a new location for 4 people from one day to the next. ....Information and coordination with friends and another attempt to make a reservation. This restaurant is not recommended!

Went there on a Sunday with my lady. Food was what you’d expect from soul food. Very nice experience and very authentic place. Veteran owned business with lots of activities and menu specials in the summer. We recommend coming here if you’re looking for an all American bar- and grill spot in the rhine- main metropolitan area.

The food is good... it's not hype... which was a very big problem... When the chef sat down with us with an alcohol flag and wanted a drink... we found it very unpleasant and were also disturbed in private conversations...

First of all - Do not make a reservation via Google, because according to the service it won't arrive in the restaurant. Unfortunately the reception from the waitress was not very friendly. After telling us twice that they weren't getting Google reservations, she said we were lucky, there was still a table available for once. This turned out to be very arrogant for us throughout our stay until the end. Even when we left there were more than enough seats available. The Philly steak was very tasty, but when we ordered we were asked whether with or without fries. My daughter took it without fries, but the price remained the same. My husband's burger was okay, unfortunately the meat was very dry. Unfortunately the drinks (cola) tasted stale. The female waiter didn't really give the impression that she really enjoyed her job and didn't even ask when clearing up whether the guest was satisfied. She doesn't seem to care, and so does her work attitude. When looking for an American diner in Hanau, this was the first and best suggestion via Google. The decor is anything but a typical diner. Everything is very old-fashioned, the seats are worn out, every table has a different, outdated tablecloth. We traveled from 60km away. Definitely not worth it.

Der Zufall führte uns dort rein. Klein, aber top. Alles im American Style. Auch die Speisekarte. Meine Wahl viel auf einen Hamburger. Die Amerikaner stellen die Hamburger anders her. Meine Wahl war auf jedenfall die richtige. Dieser Hamburger ging 3 mal an unseren Tisch - wir waren zu viert gekommen. Aber mein persönliches Highlight war, die Musik. Black Music. Dargeboten von einem Dj. Und nach dem Essen konnte man auf die Tanzfläche. Alles zusammen gesagt: eine gelunge neue Entdeckung. Wir werden auf jedenfall dort einen Tisch für uns reservieren lassen.

Absolut empfehlenswert.....Steve ist ein sehr freundlicher Wirt mit ihm kann man auch ein Schwätzchen halten und das Essen ist unschlagbar lecker.....das Ambiente in seiner Bar ist so herrlich Amerikanisch und wir fühlen uns jedes mal in die Zeit zurückversetzt als die US Armee noch in Deutschland stationiert war.....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Sehr gutes Essen, unglaublich lecker und ansprechend zubereitet. Preise sind teilweise etwas hoch aber in Ordnung.

Kneipe aus den 70er Jahren, Thanks Giving Buffet mit Butterball Turkey war ok. Hier sollen die Burger aber sehr gut sein.

Nicht nur Der beste Burger Den ich jemals gegessen habe sondern auch rund um ein perfektes Ambiente. Ab sofort bin ich hier öfter.

Lecker, authentisch einen Besuch wert

Nice, unaufgeregt, gemütlich. Mir hat es super gefallen. Mein Essen (Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich) war klasse. Super lecker, ohne SchnickSchnack, schnell zubereitet. Hier liegt noch das Herz des Besitzers drin. Ich werde wieder kommen.

Wie als wenn man ein anderes Land betritt. Tolles Ambiente, super Preise, top Personal und leckeres Essen. Wir hatten hier eine tolle Zeit und kommen definitiv wieder.

Reservierung nur Online möglich, am Telefon sehr unfreundlich und es wird gleich wieder aufgelegt. Aber eine Reservierung online ist nicht verbindlich, die muss dann erst bestätigt werden. Aber das passiert dann nicht. Sehr schade wenn man im Vorfeld schon das Gefühl bekommt, dass man nicht willkommen ist.

Hatten hier einen super Abend. Anlässlich einer Geburtstagsfeier haben wir einen schönen großen Tisch am Rand bekommen. Das All-You-Can-Eat hat sich auch total ausgezahlt. Sind alle mehr als satt geworden. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder her um auch die Burger zu probieren.

Richtige American Sportsbar. Essen war gestern Buffet. Wurde alles vom Buffet permanent frisch aufgefüllt. Alles probiert und alles als lecker bis sehr gut empfunden. (Angebot des Buffets siehe Homepage) Preise sind fair. Komme sehr gerne wieder.

Mega nette Bedienung und der Koch aus super nett, man muss es halt mögen in der Nähe des Hanauer Hafens zu essen (Location nicht so toll aussen, dafür innen umso geiler....), vom Essen war ich extrem enttäuscht ( leicht trockenes Brötchen, viel zu wenig Champignons auf dem Philly Cheese Sandwich, wesentlich mehr Brötchen wie Belag, Fotos von anderen Cheese Sandwiches hier angeschaut von anderen Kunden waren besser belegt)

Super leckeres Essen, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Texas Hamburger und zum Schluss ein Mexicaner fried Ice kann ich nur empfehlen. Einfach SPITZE!!!

Essen ist sehr lecker dort und typisch amerikanisch. Der Service ist immer super. Wir waren schon oft dort essen und auch Geburtstag feiern und wurden noch nie enttäuscht.

Diese Bewertungen ist irgendwie in meinen Entwürfen gelandet. Waren dort 2016 und das essen und der Service waren gut. Ein netter lustiger Abend. Hoffe gibt es so noch.
