Great location on the waterfront promenade. Prices typical of the place and location prices. We couldn't judge the food because we only had mineral water Cappuccino were consumed.

A great restaurant with an unbeatable view. Good value for money and attractive features. Nothing goes unnoticed by the staff, everyone is very attentive. We felt completely at home and had an extremely delicious 3-course meal on our last visit.

NEVER AGAIN Ammersee Hotel or Steg32! For our wedding we received a voucher for the Ammersee Hotel and Restaurant Steg32 worth €500 from our family. The issue date was October 2018. Due to the pandemic and our family situation, we were unable to redeem the voucher in a timely manner. It was our own fault that we overlooked that the voucher is valid for 3 years. We only noticed this when we dug out the voucher to redeem it. We called the Ammersee Hotel or Steg32 to find out what we could do now and described our family situation, as well as the obstacle caused by Corona, and we were told that the voucher's deadline had long since expired and we could no longer redeem it could. We asked for the director's contact details and contacted her via email with our concerns. The manager of the hotel also informed us in writing that a voucher was valid for 3 years. In general, the hotel/restaurant is very generous, but a 5-year-old voucher would no longer be redeemable. It was argued that Corona was the last closure in 2021 and that Corona had no longer been relevant for restrictions or other impairments since the beginning of 2022 at the latest. Accommodation would not be possible. We should have contacted you by telephone within the deadline or at least within a "reasonable time window", then an extension or transfer would have been possible if necessary. The “appropriate time window” is probably a very subjective time indication. Our question as to what disadvantage or damage the hotel would suffer if the voucher was redeemed late was not answered. We cannot understand why exactly a call asking for an extension would have changed anything, as it is just a bureaucratic act that does not change the fact that €500 was paid to the hotel. The hotel/restaurant took the money and did not provide any service in return. Our comment that we were open to writing a review was taken as a threat by the director. She would now have the buck without having made a mistake. In our opinion, the disadvantage lies more with those who paid €500 without receiving any benefit. We find this lack of goodwill and accommodation for such a large sum more than questionable and quite shocking! Unfortunately, the €500 was not a wedding present for us, but rather a gift for the Ammersee Hotel/Steg32. Really sad! (If there are any doubts about the accuracy of the statement of facts, this can be easily verified through the email conversation.)

Very nice and upscale restaurant. The food is really high quality and good. No homeopathic doses either, just decent portions. A little more expensive but absolutely okay for the quality.

The best place in Herrsching am Ammersee!!!

Please invest in People! Lot of money was invested in deco and the place looks really great, but service is appauling. 2h for only one dish despite arrival at 6pm on a monday. Place was busy, one server was running everywhere, another one was barely doing something (placing people on table and chatting), an another one was basically standing and waiting (despite plenty to do) while chewing his gum (what is an awful behavior). Two other server were around not giving any help... Kitchen was also understaffed. So very decieving experience despite good food... Never again.

Just wow! We love the food and the service was an absolute dream. Very warm and attentive, which is unfortunately very rare these days. We were on holiday in Herrsching for a week and we spent almost every evening at Steg32. We will definitely book the Ammersee Hotel again on our next Ammersee vacation. The sunset is indescribably beautiful. With us you have gained new regular guests.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Ammersee. The staff tried very hard and was extremely friendly. The breakfast also offers a large selection and tastes very good. In addition, hotel guests have access to a private jetty. A recommendation goes out.

Unfortunately, the backdrop alone doesn't make this lounge a feel-good place, even though the conditions for it are there. Unfortunately, the service seemed very demotivated, listless and not very sales-promoting during our visit. Nothing came of its own accord and questions were answered rather disinterestedly. You felt like you were being disturbed. The best thing were the fries, prices were somewhat higher depending on the location and location.

We sat on the terrace in the restaurant part. The advantage is that you could even book the reservation online. The service came straight to us and showed us to our table. We immediately asked for a bottle of water, which came quickly. Just the thing for your first thirst. As a starter we had chanterelle cream soup and a vitello tonnato. The cream soup was nice and creamy and there were quite a few chanterelles in it. Tastes very good. I had never had the Vitello Tonnato like this before. It was very tender veal with a very light tuna sauce. The icing on the cake would be the small pieces of very tender tuna. Price-performance ratio, very good for both dishes. For the main course we had loup de mer with ratatouille and homemade gnocchi and TAGLIOLINI CHANTER MILLS / CHERRY TOMATOES / PARMESAN I (unfortunately) chose the large portion. Why unfortunately, it was so delicious that I unfortunately ate everything and there was no room for dessert afterwards. So if you're out and about in Herrsching and want to eat very well, you can't miss Steg32.

Food top - service flop This is how our yesterday evening can be briefly and concisely described. Long waiting times, wrong food so that we couldn't eat together as a family and an inattentive waiter who unfortunately doesn't know his job. The ambience is quite nice, the location is perfect on the lake. It's a shame we won't be coming back...

It's extremely nice to sit outside in the lounge. With a very good caffeine-free cappuccino with sticky milk and hot chocolate. Plus a buttery, juicy apricot dacha. And because it was so nice, I also had a berry glass of Primitivo. Any time...

There is a terrasse, but we had dinner inside, with view over the lake. The food was very good, but portions could be smaller (we had a hard time to finish all). Large divers wine list. Good service. They have wifi.

We spent one night in the hotel and enjoyed the 5-course menu! Extremely tasty, beautifully presented, excellent quality, generous portions. The ambience right on the lake is also wonderful. Compromises on service: We had reserved the table in advance for a birthday and still sat in the far corner. The beautiful tables at the front had been given away to walk-in customers. I was pretty annoyed. Service was otherwise ok.

We visited the restaurant in the best weather and sat outside. Waiting for service in almost 30 degrees was tiring and the gentlemen really tried hard... However, the food was top💋... The ambience and view from the restaurant are simply beautiful. The food is absolutely top notch and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately there were no more rooms facing the lake this weekend. But that wasn't worth deducting a point. The rooms are stylishly furnished and the beds were great too. All around a very nice stay. The staff at the hotel was also extremely friendly. The breakfast was rich and very tasty. We'll definitely be back👍👍👍

For us it's simply one of the most beautiful spots in Bavaria. From the terrace you have a direct view of Lake Ammersee, which is particularly beautiful at sunset.

The location on Ammersee is very nice and you can sit outside really well, but what really bothered me was that there are two different cards, one for the lounge and one for the restaurant. Both are located on the same terrace and you can get both cards in both areas, but you can't order anything from the other. That makes me wonder why. The areas are less than 3 meters apart, so if you want to order something different you have to pay first and then order something new. The food itself looks and tastes really good but is unfortunately very expensive. Unfortunately we had to wait quite a long time until our food came. If you come by you can eat something, but I don't think I would come again

The food was very tasty, which is what you would expect given the prices. Unfortunately our espresso was forgotten but was on the bill but was then corrected. It takes a while for the food to arrive, but we had a salad as a starter and it was ok. The ambience is very nice. You feel good.

We stayed at the Ammersee Hotel for a short weekend. The attached restaurant Steg 32 is absolutely amazing. We had a big birthday to celebrate and were not disappointed. The food was a dream, the wine recommendation was great. The waiters are all super nice, that's not a given. There is also a great lounge area outside right next to Lake Ammersee. Great to end a great evening with a delicious cocktail. Just great. We'll be back...

Excellent dining place and friendly hospitality with a lake view! Food was of high standard and caters a three course vegan menu as well. Bit expensive but worth the experience!

Inedible! Valentine's Day 2024 - 3-course menu at steg32. A single disappointment that completely spoiled the evening and resulted in a night of pain. Starter that sat like a board in the stomach, the main course was undercooked, almost indigestible veal, with "rösti" with almost raw potato threads. Dessert like from a discounter.

Because of a 20 minute delay. Only got one more dish from the menu. 8:20 p.m. ridiculous!

Nicht billig. Aber das Essen war sehr gut! Keine Vorspeise und kein Dessert. Glas Wein, Wasser klein Kalbsschnitzel und Beilagensalat für zwei über 50 eur. Hat aber sehr geschmeckt und war stilvoll.

Ambiente sehr schön. Restaurant nahezu leer. Außer uns beiden noch 4 weitere Gäste. Service etwas sehr tiefen entspannt und lax. wir wollten einen Aperitif, es gab dafür keine Karte. Für die Bestellung des Essens musste ich das Personal extra auffordern. Mein Hauptgang (Entenbrust) war etwas weniger als lauwarm, Teller kalt. Stand wohl zulange am Pass. Für diesen Preis...... Nein Danke.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Service Mitarbeiter. Auf das Hauptgericht mussten wir 1 Stunde warten. Im Zusammenhang mit der relativ kleinen Speisekarte nicht nachvollziehbar. Preis/Leistung unbefriedigend. 50€ für ein Rinder Filetsteak sehr abgehoben. Das Ambiente hätte durch eine Außenbeleuchtung zur Promenade, See hin verbessert werden können.

A very nice place near in front of the lake. The food is amazing, the prices are a little bit hi but it’s totally worth it. The soup is really good and salads are amazing. Great choice.

Schon beim Betreten die modernen mit warmen Holz kombinierten räumlichkeiten mit Ausblick direkt am bletschendes Wasser am Ammersee macht Lust zu genießen die excelente Küche wo die Preis Leistung stimmt. Für den Rest angenehmen Aufenthalt trägt noch bei der perfekte Service vor allem Franko.

Steg 32 is a beautiful space with an elegant menu. My wife and I had our last dinner there last night after five weeks touring Europe. It was our best meal of the trip. While the food was terrific, it was our waiter, Pero, who made the experience exceptional. We felt as though we were in a Michelin Star restaurant in Paris or Manhattan. He apparently has had good training, to complement his natural skills.

Wyśmienita restauracja z miłą obsługą i przepyszny jedzeniem. Klimatyczne wnętrze. Dodatkowy atut to piękny widok na jezioro. Ciepłe kocyki umożliwiają podziwianie pięknych zachodów słońca na tarasie przy lampce wina nawet w chłodniejsze wieczory. Serdecznie polecam.
