Ursprüngliche Gaststätte mit kleinem Biergarten. Schneller Service, Sonderwünschen wird wenn möglich nachgekommen. Essen ist gut, Preisleistung ist der Umgebung entsprechend eher hoch angesiedelt. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit großem Garten mitten im Ort. Der Service ist freundlich und kompetent. Das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken ist umfangreich. Es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden.

Sehr schönes, äußerst geschmackvoll und ideenreich eingerichtetes Restaurant. Großer Biergarten vorhanden ebenfalls mit sehr vielen interessanten und liebevoll gestalteten Details, z.Bsp. guten Sprüchen an den Bäumen montiert. Sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Das Essen war sehr gut, schön angerichtet und besonders der Kaiserschmarrn sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist mit viel Herzblut und Liebe eingerichtet. Wir waren schon öfters dort und entdecken immer wieder neue liebevolle Details. Essen und Trinken als auch Bedienung spielen in einer eigenen Liga. Wenn wir nach Herrsching fahren, heißt es entweder See oder Hotel zur Post.

Leider waren wir von unserem Besuch sehr enttäuscht. Die Bedienung war von Anfang an unfreundlich. Als wir aufgrund unseres Babys höflich nach einem Platz im Schatten fragten, reagierte die Mitarbeiterin genervt und verdrehte die Augen. Auch beim Thema Familienfreundlichkeit waren wir enttäuscht. Auf unsere Nachfrage nach einem Kinderstuhl wurde uns dieser nicht gebracht – wir mussten ihn schließlich selbst holen. Zur Vorspeise wurde nur wenig Brot serviert. Als wir freundlich nach etwas mehr Brot fragten, bekamen wir lediglich ein paar kleine zusätzliche Stücke (siehe Foto). Das empfanden wir als wenig gastfreundlich und nicht besonders kundenorientiert. Auch geschmacklich konnte das Essen leider nicht überzeugen. Der Obazda hatte einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch und Geschmack, der uns stark an alte, stinkende Socken erinnerte. Insgesamt war der Service enttäuschend und das Essen konnte die negativen Eindrücke leider nicht ausgleichen. Gerade mit einem Baby hätten wir uns etwas mehr Freundlichkeit und Serviceorientierung gewünscht. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Ein sehr schöner Biergarten, hervorragende Küche und sehr netter Service

Ein herrausstechendes Hotel auf seine Art. Nettes gut gelaunten Personal, hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Liebevoll und mit Freude eingerichtetes (altes uriges) Hotel. Viele tolle Details, wie die Einrichtung, "Notfall-Kiste" im Schrank, Marken Pflegeprodukte, Tee/ Kaffee /Wasser immer auf den Fluren. Ein Blick unter das Bett lohnt sich ;). Für die Fahrt wurde uns beim herausragend vielfältigen Frühstück Brezeln aufgeschnitten. Vor Ort die Möglichkeit viele Leckereien zu kaufen. Abends (kurz vor Feierabend) noch ein Bierchen auf der Terasse bekommen.

Super schönes Hotel in einer idyllischen Landschaft. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Frühstück ist vielfältig und im Gasthof gibt es abends sehr gutes Essen. Wir waren nicht das erste Mal beim Queri. Gerne wieder.

Ich besuchte das Restaurant nach einer Wanderung. Der Service war sehr langsam und unaufmerksam.

Zimmer sehr sauber! Netter Willkommensgruß. Sehr gute bayerische Küche! Supernettes Personal. Alles sehr urig eingerichtet. Im Biergarten hängen überall nette Spruchschilder. Nicht weit zum Ammersee. Liegt direkt an der Wanderstrecke zum Kloster Andechs.

Hier gibt es immer ein Mittagsgericht. Auch vegetarisch. Sehr lecker 😋 und vor allem gibt's a Gustl vom Fass. Wir als Handwerker kommen immer wieder gerne. Danke und bis boid.👌👍👍😃

Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es hat ein tolles Ambiente, ist günstig gelegen, nur fünfhundert Meter vom See entfernt, mitten im Zentrum usw. Das Wichtigste ist aber die hervorragende Küche.

Sehr guter Gasthof, schönes und gemütliches Ambiente. Das Essen war klasse. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

A truly fantastic restaurant! The service was superb, especially Sandra, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. 🙃 On a recommendation, we tried the suckling pig breast with dumplings and sauerkraut. Absolutely delicious. To top it all off, we had gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn – simply divine. The food arrived quickly, and we felt completely at ease. We'll definitely be back. 😊

A very nice and pleasant restaurant.

The hotel is located about 500 meters from Lake Ammersee. The building itself is over 500 years old, as it says. The dining room is very lavishly decorated and cozy. The food is traditional Bavarian, hearty and just right for us. The staff is attentive. Hot meals are served all day and it's always busy. The Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancake) was absolutely fantastic. The Knödelgröstel (dumpling hash) and Fuhre Mist (a type of potato dumpling) are also highly recommended.

Good food, plentiful breakfast, room (#12) faced the street but was quiet. Service was very friendly. The hotel is very centrally located and you can reach everything in Herrsching on foot.

We stopped in spontaneously and got a seat. The service was excellent and so friendly; I felt welcome. We ordered schnitzel and cordon bleu, and the food arrived in no time. It was so delicious, and the potato salad was divine.

For a getaway to the Oktoberfest 🍺 in Munich, the place is divinely well located. You will be welcomed with a smile from the staff and the kindness of the owner. The music will allow you to dine on the delicious dishes, I loved the ribs cooked just the way I like them.

Relatively centrally located, the service perfect in every respect. Exceptional, loving decor. Every wish is fulfilled. A great concept. Superb food, breakfast, plenty for everyone. Even for vegans. Lumberjack steak on bread with onions and crispy fried bacon, large portion (2 steaks), side salad as big as a main salad, with Augustiner wheat beer, perfect!

The cuisine and location of this lovely vacation spot are sublime. A ten minute walk to the lake and S Bahn. We stay every year and do not grow tired of the adventure.

We went to this restaurant for lunch today. We chose it based on the good reviews. We both ordered the original Viennese Kaiserschnitzel with fried potatoes and a small salad on the side. The schnitzel was completely unseasoned, meaning no salt or pepper. The breading completely fell off the first time we cut it, leaving us with only a two-millimeter-thick piece of meat. The fried potatoes were just boiled potatoes that had been tossed in a pan. They don't deserve to be called fried potatoes. Now for the small salad: it had two slices of cucumber and two slices of tomato on it. The rest was lettuce. And all that for €6.90. The price-performance ratio doesn't do it justice. The schnitzel came for just under €28. The service was also very slow at first. The drinks order and delivery were quite quick. But we had to wait about 30 minutes for the food order. We then asked for someone, who arrived 10 minutes later. The food delivery was quick. Our conclusion: This was our first and last time at this restaurant. I have no problem spending money on a good meal, but this meal was simply bad.

We were here for the first time (Sunday - Friday) and it was absolutely top-top-top. The breakfast was very, very good, with a huge selection. The food in the restaurant was amazing. A 1 out of 100 stars. We haven't eaten this well in a long time, no matter what the menu was, it was simply top-top-top. The only thing is, there's nothing going on in Herrsching. A desolate place!!!! Not a place for a vacation. The town could rethink that. But the post office is taking care of that. It's nice to be in the post office. Very, very friendly staff. We would come back just for the post office, but not for Herrsching. Boring. Please keep up the good work, you're great!

I'm only reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel. It was our first time there, and I couldn't believe they actually had a gluten-free schnitzel. It was delicious and well-made, and they could definitely list it more prominently on the menu. Service was okay, probably because it was busy.

We were there for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast itself was an absolute delight. There's a breakfast buffet until 10 a.m., and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., a la carte breakfast is available, which is also sufficient.

I was just turned away with my severely disabled wife. The tables had gotten wet due to a shower. The dark-haired waitress was apparently overwhelmed by the task of quickly drying the tables. Lots of details and goodies for guests, such as mineral water and a Nespresso machine always available in the hallway. Great beds! The friendliness of the staff is unbeatable!! Very guest-oriented, funny, warm, and professional, especially the ladies. A lovely menu and a superb breakfast! Enjoy it on the terrace if you like. Great rustic beer garden. I'm a regular here. It's a very family-run inn with a consistent manager who, in my opinion, represents a great philosophy. Guests and employees are treated as equals and each other with respect. Perhaps this also helps her retain motivated, albeit non-specialist, service staff, which is currently a real challenge in the industry. The opening hours are also unique, something hardly any other inn in the region can offer. I like to go there often, partly because it exudes a cozy atmosphere, both inside and out. This is a different review without a focus on the food, but I think these aspects are precisely what make the inn unique. Edit: Unfortunately, according to a server, they no longer serve daily newspapers. It's a shame for me as a regular. It was a nice service that other inns don't offer.

The ambience of the restaurant, terrace, and beer garden are appealing and inviting. The menu sounded promising, but the portions were disappointingly small—especially considering the prices. While the food tasted good, the value for money left much to be desired—which is why it loses one star. The service team is impeccable, extremely friendly, and attentive. We were given detailed information about the daily specials, served promptly, and looked after with exceptional friendliness. Overall, a good impression—with potential for improvement if the portion sizes are improved. P.S.: We've eaten at GH Post several times; a few weeks ago, the portion sizes were more reasonable. Our impression is that the restaurant has reduced the portion sizes and kept the prices the same.

We can't comment on the room. The meal was incredibly good, with 3 large schnitzels and roast pork. The waiter was amazing, positively! My dog ​​doesn't get any water; he deserves better than champagne! Of course, there was water in the champagne bottle that filled the bowl. We laughed a lot.

I really shouldn't give it a star. I had reserved for one night, but my reservation couldn't be found even though I had a confirmation. There were no rooms available either. I slept in the car that night. I definitely won't be back.

We've been to the Gasthof zur Post several times before. But the way we were approached today was reason enough to go again. We simply asked if we could sit outside for the lunch menu. The response was very rude. There were only two waiters, and that just wasn't possible. We then stood in the entrance area without being assigned a seat or even being spoken to further. The two ladies continued to chat privately. We then left. Considering the high prices at the Post Office, the staff should show a bit more sensitivity.

My wife and I were guests at the Gasthof Zur Post from Thursday to Sunday. Breakfast was very good, there was everything you need for a good breakfast. Delicious whole grain bread, fresh fruits, salmon, etc. Staff super nice. Dinner with a good selection. The schnitzels with cucumber and potato salad are a must. The prices are not out of the ordinary. With the redfish I would like 2 slices of fish because it tastes very tasty, even if it would cost more. Overall, an original Bavarian. Inn that offers guests a piece of an ideal world with a lot of love and ideas. We will definitely come back, especially since the Ammersee is beautiful. Thanks and greetings to everyone.

Yes, it was really okay for the price, you can't say anything about that. All tappas at once wasn't really the way we like to eat, but it was understandable if there was no other option.

The post office in Herrsching is definitely worth a visit! The food was great, and the atmosphere was just right. The experience in the restroom was particularly unexpectedly funny—a real eye-catcher! I'd love to come back.
