Stylish hotel directly on the lake with excellent cuisine and very friendly service – ideal for a short break or business trip

We spontaneously stopped by the Gasthof zur Post and had dinner. We received a warm welcome, and Sandra's service was truly top-notch! A very warm person who gave us truly first-class service. The restaurant was lovely and quiet, and the food was also very good! This is my first Google review, but I just had to share it. Thank you for the lovely evening, and thank you Sandra for the great service! We'll be back!

We've been coming here for breakfast more or less regularly for years. Prices have risen significantly in recent years (from €22.50 to €27 and now €32). Unfortunately, today we discovered that not only has the buffet price increased again, but the buffet is also significantly reduced. Egg dishes, which were usually included, are now available at an additional cost. The waiter didn't even come to the table to ask for them. So, all in all, it's significantly more expensive for significantly less. We won't be coming here again and won't recommend it anymore. What a shame!! Oh yeah: even the relatively small on-site parking lot now costs €5, which used to be free. Parking on the street is less expensive...

We'll be happy to announce that our kebab restaurant will be closed for the last time. The last opening will be on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Every moment spent with you has been invaluable to us. The decision to close was not easy. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and sharing delicious meals with you.
