Steakhouse ASADOR in Berlin

Great steakhouse. The chorizo ​​as a starter is particularly recommended. Attentive service, although you do have to wait a long time for your drink (but that is often the case in Berlin :-). Steaks were fine but not exceptional, especially the dry-aged steak could have been better in terms of quality. Staff very friendly

The staff is just the absolute kindest! We had a lovely time. The meat is delicious with big portions and a lovely atmosphere (warmer than in the other photos). Lovely wine as well. I will make sure to come back next time I’m in Berlin! Just make sure to bring cash as they only accept that.

Good food, took long to get the food(50 minutes) but it was still very good. They only took cash or German debit cards.

The food was really too good and left full from that place. The meat was 100/100. But, the staff was unorganised. We had a reservation for 9:30 pm and we sat at the table at 10:20 waiting in the bar. When the customers make a reservation it means that the employees should respect that. The manager needs to inform that the table is reserved for two or three hours. Also the service was not the best. It’s a pity for a place with such a good food, the client to leave unhappy.

A restaurant to eat a good piece of well-done meat with a good glass of wine. Highly recommended

Pablo is a marvellous person, very kind and very helpfull. It was one of the meals of my life because of him.

I had the garlic and chilli prawns to start. Prawns were cooked well, but lacked real flavour. They hadn't actually been cooked in the garlic and chilli, just served in a bowl of oil which had garlic and chilli in it. I then had the ribeye, and it was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. It was cooked to perfection, and the port wine sauce I had with it was delicious. I also had a glass of Malbec which paired really well with the steak. I really wanted to give 5 stars for this place but the service when we first arrived was very slow. It did pick up but the restaurant wasn't busy the whole time we were there. You receive a complimentary shot when paying the bill which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy a good steak.

Very nice unassuming place with fantastic steaks at a reasonable price. Both rib eye and the sirloin steaks were cooked to perfection. Grilled on the outside and tender & red on the inside. Would definitely go there again despite it being slightly off the beaten track. What a great find!

My wife and I just arrived in Berlin and wanted to grab a quick meal before heading to the Christmas markets. I had a cocktail and we shared a filet mignone and potatoes and it was more than enough . The food was cooked perfectly and the drink was delicious. Good food, good service and a reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

Very happy with the food but less happy with the staff. One of the employees was sitting at the table of several visitors having a drink, very unprofessional. The same employee made us wait 30 minutes for our dessert and over 30 minutes for the bill. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, otherwise I would have understood. I felt like this person had something against us for some reason. This feeling arises because we wanted to call the person at the table to ask him about the bill, but he just looked away and his colleague helped us.

My wife and I recently dined at ASADOR Steakhouse, and we were fortunate to have Pablo as our server. Simply put, he was one of the best servers we have ever had. From the moment we sat down, Pablo’s warm demeanor and attentiveness made our experience truly exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations and answering all our questions with enthusiasm and expertise. Pablo’s timing was impeccable—he was always present when we needed him but never intrusive. What truly set him apart was his genuine passion for creating a memorable dining experience. We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, perfect for a special evening. The food was outstanding — we tried the filet mignon and ribeye with herb butter, both cooked to perfection. Desserts were just as impressive. We had crème brûlée and chocolate mousse, both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service was fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It was my husband’s birthday, and I asked for a dessert with a candle. They went above and beyond to make it a memorable moment for us. Highly recommend this place for great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere!

We reserved a table because the website is very well done and the photos there are also quite attractive. A completely different picture emerges on site. The store is totally shabby, nothing matches the photos that can be found on the site. Unfortunately, the reviews describing rats outdoors are correct. That evening alone we were able to marvel at 3 rats of respectable size in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant. This is a problem that definitely needs to be addressed. Parking nearby is possible, although not easy. There is an outdoor area that is definitely perfect for spending time in the summer. Overall, definitely potential. We then refrained from dining here.

I ordered the appetizer platter and the steak burger. The platter was well made with some goodies. Unfortunately, the steak burger wasn't overwhelming. I actually expected a minced meat patty that was minced from good steak cuts. With the steak burger you essentially get a steak in a burger. Which isn't a bad thing, but unfortunately you didn't notice much of the steak's taste. It was reminiscent of a neck steak roll from the grill stand. I had previously discovered a picture of the burger in the reviews, where a different bun was used. Nowadays there is the simplest roll. This is not a burger shop, but I would have liked a little more at 17 euros. The fries, however, were very tasty. The steaks from my blackheads looked very appealing, and the cooking point for all of them was as desired. The price here is also on the higher side. If I read it correctly, every side dish and sauce for the steak costs extra. If you want to choose a different side dish for other dishes, an additional charge of 1 euro will be added. The menu wasn't overloaded with offers, which I always see as a positive point. People often concentrate on just a few things instead of offering as many things as possible. There was also a current recommendation from the kitchen, great. The toilet was remembered with an acrid smell.

Good online reservation system, worked perfectly with only 30' advance notice, nice atmosphere, good service, typical steakhouse dishes, 2 stars deducted here, my entrecôte was too stringy, the preparation itself can't be faulted, so the chef knows what he's doing, Maybe supplies were short, the piece should have been cut out, but well, maybe an isolated case, the prices for steak are typical, i.e. for two people on average. You have to expect over €120, hence my criticism of the meat, here I expect it to cost over €30 per person. Piece of appropriate quality, I cook such dishes myself and know how to judge it, but really perhaps an isolated case...

Visited spontaneously during the week without paying attention to ratings. Everything was really great. Starters plentiful and very tasty. Eg. Real ripe olives. The steaks can be ordered individually. The filet mignon was to die for. 400g. Service totally attentive and friendly. Thanks!

I really wanted to like this but didn't, mediocre steakhouse. Meat quality and preparation are average and side dishes are just OK. Frozen green beans ??? Seriously?

Unfortunately it wasn't such a great experience, this Wednesday there were around 35 guests and the 5 service men were overwhelmed. Waited 25 minutes for drinks and it took another 20 minutes to pay. Food was OK but the mixed grill plate with fries is unfortunately not worth the €27.80. Meat with a taste of overlay and not enough side dish. Won't come back.

Perfect meal from beginning to end. Steaks were superb (rib eye), starters delicious (burrata and ceviche), wine suggestions spot-on. Prices were very reasonable as well. Cozy setting and great ambience but the pièce de résistance was the service... Pablo and Pachu were absolutely amazing. Attentive, funny, professional and very friendly.

Everything was perfect. The filet mignon is delicious & perfectly cooked, loved the truffle shrimp entree and the fries were delicious. Friendly and quick service. Highly recommended!

Very good food, unfortunately few options for non-meat eaters (2 fish dishes and one vegetarian), but a steakhouse is generally a bad location. More frequent problems with things that were no longer there, e.g. a dessert or a lemonade. Waiting times can sometimes be a little longer.

Wonderful time had with family and daughter studying at CIEE NU in. Pablo the proprietor was wonderful host and steaks were terrific. Will 100% return here when back n Berlin!!

The food at this place was great. We had the combo dinner (lomo) and a wine pairing. The steak was perfectly cooked and the side dishes and starters were very nice. Only the desert was a bit of a disappointment after all the greatness. It was good but different then what I expected based on the menu description.

Great service and delicious food!

As soon as we arrived, we were told that we had to go get cash from the ATM opposite. Then one of the waiters speaks Spanish to me. When we come back from the ATM, the other waiter speaks English to us, he doesn't know how to speak Spanish. When placing the order, the waiter almost left before hearing the meat cooking. He therefore misheard or noted "medium rare" which he confused with "medium well". No luck, I like my meat rare. Same for the cokes, we weren't asked for anything, we got the big cokes. Another waiter came to bring us the dishes, pushing the bread dish (instead of taking it back), we had the impression of being a disturbance. Too bad because the quality of the food is there. Very bad surprise also at the time of the bill (which we had to ask at the bar) because an additional tip of €8 is written by hand. We were really taken by surprise. No water, no wine, a bit excessive in price.

This place is 10/10. Props to Pablo, amazing host! Greeted us with a smile, served us with grace and we left with a smile. Ain't no one else. Will come back here just for him.

Table booking through google maps is super easy! The guys are polite and welcoming, food is tasty and service is efficient. They accepted only cash when I was there which was inconvenient, but it looked like it's a temporary problem and they told me before sitting down.

What a great find. A small restaurant hidden away but was exceptional. With the friendliest waiter ever who was attentive without being overbearing. We were allowed to eat and drink in peace and never felt rushed. The food was exceptional as I’m told was the Malbec wine. The only slight negative (which we weren’t aware in advance) was that its cash only however there is a cash machine directly opposite across the road. Would definitely revisit

If you're looking for succulent, excellent, delicious meat then you've come to the right place... a filet mignon, chimichurri sauce and a fab glass of Malbec made for a great evening, staff super friendly and attentive, thank you!!

The service was fantastic, our host/waiter was wonderfully charming and saw to our every need. I really can't overstate how amazing the service was. And the food was magnificent, 3 of our party got steaks and we can all attest that it was some of the best steak you can get from a restaurant, especially for the cost; the prices were fair and worth every Euro for the quality you're getting. Part of me wants to go back already.

Written in October 2024: We were a large group, waited outside, it took a while for the drinks to arrive and a while longer for them to arrive. The food came surprisingly quickly and everything came together. The steak eaters were happy. The risotto took some getting used to, at least the mushrooms in it. It was also the only vegetarian/vegan dish. We sat comfortably, toilets were adventurous, but clean. Service was friendly and did its best.

Over half an hour from arriving to having water at the table. Starters arrived before drinks. They forgot that they seated us after we stepped in so we had to get menus. Several drinks we're wrong. As in wrong ingredients. They didn't accept visa or Mastercard. BUT the staff was super friendly ND they seemed understaffed.

The steak was very good in terms of quality and taste. The beans with bacon were a bit dead in taste. The service wasn't optimal at the beginning. It was very loud. I have experienced this differently in similar restaurants. I personally wasn't convinced.

Everything started well unfortunately the waiter gave very bad advice. We opted for a 1500 gram tomahawk steak for 3 adults. The waiter insisted that we also order a 600 gram t-bone steak, claiming that it would not be enough given the weight of the bone! At least 3 times. More than 2 kg of meat for 3 people, not too many bones, it was way too much. Half had time to cool! We expressed our dissatisfaction. Obviously he didn't get a tip.
