Best restaurant to eat steak. I've been there so many times and have never been disappointed with either the food or the staff. Absolutely recommended.

The food was really tasty, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Everything was perfect and we had a great evening. Absolutely recommended!

One of the best steakhouses in Berlin. We go there again and again. Nice staff and great meat. After a long break we were back and couldn't really notice any changes. We were served again in a friendly and quick manner. I have to briefly mention a small negative point this time, in all these years, definitely 30 years, I have always been satisfied with the meat, unfortunately not so this time. But I am convinced that it will be fine next time. Unfortunately the nice boss wasn't there this time, but I'll definitely talk to him about it again. I'm positive that it was just an exception.

After I downloaded and studied the menu, we visited Deseado Steakhouse for the first time on Saturday. What an enjoyable afternoon... He started by letting us park our car right next to the restaurant. Despite a larger company and several reserved tables, we found a pleasant place - outside, of course, given the weather. After just a few minutes one of the waiters - all friendly - appeared to take our drink request and our order for the aperitif. There are different dishes, but we wanted to put together our menus according to our own wishes. Shrimp cocktail, taco chips with three dips and garlic bread for starters. Then entrecote, each with (huge) baked potato with sour cream, one with herb butter and onions, the other with green pepper cream sauce. The starters came after a reasonable amount of time. This means you can assume that the shrimp cocktail, for example, was prepared and not taken out of the fridge when it was finished. My wife had barely finished her shrimp cocktail when the main courses were already being served. A bit tight - and not just for the order of enjoyment, as you can see from the photo how full the table looked. But that was all there was to complain about. We were completely satisfied with all of the dishes. The Argentinian beef entrecote was even reminiscent of our previous trips to France. The photos should also show how generous the portions are. That's why there was no more dessert. So the price/performance ratio is also right. Drinks, soups and starters are by no means too expensive and the meat costs what meat should cost. We will definitely visit this restaurant more than once.

freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter heißen einen bereits Willkommen. Die Speisen waren alle sehr gut. Wir hatten vorab die Champignons mit Spinat und anschließend ein Steak. Es war ein schöner Besuch im Deseado.

Family business for over 30 years. Very tasty steaks and always friendly service. We have been regular customers there since the eighties and will happily remain so. Update November 2023: still top; The price-performance ratio is still good too.

I'm very impressed. Great steaks. Exactly what we wanted (medium rare) for an absolutely reasonable price. The employees were nice, courteous and almost friendly. If you want to eat a good steak, this is the place for you.

We were at Deseado for the first time and will come back. My fillet steak was super tasty, I didn't leave anything left, which my husband noticed straight away and said then you enjoyed it. The carpaccio was also good. What I also found positive was that there were no useless "greens" as decoration on the plate. Excellent !!

Very nice staff, friendly and quick. You immediately feel comfortable. The Chateaubriand was super tender and very tasty. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. Happy to come back!

Meat was cooked exactly as requested. Waiters very attentive and calm, although quite busy. We got a table, didn't have to wait long for everything, it was served quickly. Prices okay.

For dinner I had a rip eye steak with fried potatoes and my companion had a mini steak with fries. The meat was wonderful and tasted really delicious. However, we returned the fries. They really weren't great. Simple frozen fries without color and without salt. Unfortunately, not our case at all. It's a shame because they were expensive... The fried potatoes were ok. But I maintain that they weren't fresh either. When a potato is frozen, it loses almost all of its flavor and absorbs the flavor of surrounding dishes. Therefore, the suspicion is that they were not fresh potatoes. A pity. The service was very friendly and in a good mood. That really stuck with me in a positive way. That's how it has to be. The ambience is great. As is often the case in a steakhouse, the decoration is made of stone and wine bottles. Although this method is familiar from many other locations, it is still cozy and tidy. Overall, I deduct a few points because of the side dishes. The service and ambience, however, are top. Therefore, I think 4 out of 5 stars is exactly right.

We've been going here for ages and have never been disappointed. Everything is always delicious, the meat is aromatic and superbly grilled. Requests for supplements will be fulfilled. The service is friendly and attentive. The only drawback is the parking situation. So it's best to come by bike or on foot.

This steakhouse has been around for over 30 years and the food is still as good as it was back then. First the father, then the son. However, something was better back then, you could still choose the schnapps afterwards. Today you get three to choose from and unfortunately these aren't my types, even though I've been going there for a long time. But I can still only recommend it.

Today, June 15, 24, we spontaneously had dinner here with the family on the occasion of the first anniversary of my mother's death. We all absolutely loved the food! Onion soup, garlic bread, various steaks, whether with baked potatoes, fries or fried potatoes, were very tasty and cooked to perfection! The fried potatoes with bacon and onions were amazing... We all enjoyed the food and the friendly manner of the Deseado team. Thanks

Mega tasty, perfectly grilled steaks and the side dishes are also super tasty. Very friendly staff. If you want something special, you should have the steak served on a hot stone or ask for special steaks. The gaucho potato is also a highlight and highly recommended. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to the next time.

Super delicious food, the steaks were perfect! Special requests were responded to confidently and in a very friendly manner. Our waiter that evening, Carlos, was extremely attentive and immediately noticed an empty glass/plate without having to be noticed. Always at the table with a smile and a good mood without appearing fake. We have now found our regular steakhouse. Simply recommended!

The four of us were there again for dinner on Mother's Day... and as always it was very well attended and that's because you can feel good here, the food has always made you happy so far. My two girls, me and my wife like to come back again and again.

For me the best steakhouse in Berlin! (I come from Berlin, am a passionate steak eater and had to search for a long time to experience such a taste experience) I've been there three times now (within a week because it's so fantastically good) and the food is absolutely amazing!!! The steaks were perfectly grilled to our liking (English) and of the highest quality. Likewise the side dishes. The service is super friendly and attentive and you just feel really comfortable in the cozy atmosphere! The price performance is 100 percent!!! I particularly recommend the US beef from the in-house ripening chamber! Absolute top recommendation and I am a new regular customer!!! I would give 6 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had steak for the first time today (I'm 19) and it was absolutely delicious!!! I'm actually not much of a meat eater, but the cappacio in particular blew me away :) super lovely staff, warmly ❤️ gladly again ☺️

Side dish did not come with the main course. After the waiting time, the side dish (potato) unfortunately came still raw. Half of my main course was charred to an inedible extent (I'm deliberately not exaggerating. Pitch black with a charcoal crust). When I complained about this, all I got was a snippy response: “Yes, it’s a holiday. It can happen. Otherwise we are prepared.” After 20 minutes I was finally able to eat at the table. It was okay, nothing special. But for the price, it's incredibly small. Fried potatoes are apparently close to the black limit here, but it was still fine for me. I wouldn't recommend the spare ribs here either. Unfortunately they are very dry. Overall, the meat is good to eat, even if it is absolutely nothing special and clearly too expensive for the quality. The partly uncomprehending and snippy staff that day is the reason that this will remain my first and last visit.

From the staff to the food, everything was really good. The food came quickly, was warm and tasty. Our steaks were spot on perfect. The side dishes were crunchy and the food was well seasoned. I would classify the restaurant as a little more upscale. Can only recommend it and we will definitely come back.

I've known this steakhouse for as long as it's existed. For over 30 years. I haven't been there for many years because I no longer lived in the area. It still offers the same quality of food, the staff is still very accommodating and warm. I felt as comfortable as I did back then and will be happy to come back when I come over again.

Heute war ich vielleicht zum 5-6 mal im Deseado, da ich nicht aus Berlin komme, klappt es immer nur, wenn ich die Rennbahn Mariendorf besuche. Bis dato habe ich immer das gleiche gegessen, was bei max. einem Besuch pro Jahr Sinn macht, da das bestellte phantastisch ist. Ich genoss den Deseado Spieß, dazu die Champignons a la Creme und vorweg das Knoblauch Brot. Der Spieß hervorragend, erstklassiges Rindfleisch, die Fritten von bester Qualität, die Sauce wunderbar. Das Knoblauch Brot kann man nicht besser machen. Der rote Malbec ein Genuss. Alle Bedienungen sind außergewöhnlich freundlich, dass Lokal wird von vielen Stammkunden besucht, welche alle wie gute Bekannte begrüßt werden, man spürt die Freude der Mitarbeiter an der Tätigkeit, einfach schön. Als Berliner wäre ich sicherlich mind. einmal im Monat im Deseado. Auch wenn Sie bis Mariendorf etwas fahren müssen, probieren sie das Deseado!

Went to the restaurant spontaneously. Food freshly prepared, even if it is stated that no corn or peppers are allowed, no problem, it is freshly prepared. It should be so. Changes to the satiety supplement are also possible without any problems

I've had 2 experiences in this store now!!! Large group of 12 men, my pork wasn't cooked through, raw inside, very willingly reworked, the plate was slammed very carelessly on the table, no nice words about it, just nothing. Another of us had cardboard in the food from a package, the nice waiter said "it happens as long as it's not metal" with a very annoyed tone then he turned around and left (topic closed) No compensation, apology, new food or anything else, he should continue to eat the food that had trash in it. After complaining several times, they came around the corner with a short one in return for the expensive meal with garbage inside. There were 5 of us at a table and would like a cappuccino after dinner, but it was no longer possible here at 9 p.m. as the shop would close at 10 p.m., very unpleasant and unfriendly with well-paying guests, it was getting close after nine, the lights around us were turned off, everything was put away, the chairs were tilted around the tables, the motto of the friendly service was, let's go now. I'm at a loss for words, very expensive, extremely bad!!!
