ASADO Steakhaus in Berlin

We've been here several times – and we keep coming back. Every visit is an absolute highlight. This time we chose the lamb fillet, and what can I say: It was simply sensational! Tender, perfectly cooked, and with an intense, finely balanced flavor – definitely one of the best steaks we've ever eaten. The service is also outstanding. The entire team is consistently friendly, attentive, and warm. You feel welcome from the very first moment, and it's a pleasure to chat with the waiters and waitresses. They consistently exude a pleasant, positive atmosphere. We would like to extend special praise to our waiter, Ahmad. With his charming, courteous manner and his always friendly smile, he made our evening truly special. You can tell that he's truly passionate about his job – that's not something you can take for granted these days.

Been coming here for 15 years now. People know us and we know the boys. There is still something special about eating here. It's just a real restaurant without any newfangled ideas or attempts to invent something new. The service is great and the steak is always top notch. The steak sauce is awesome. We also buy them every now and then when we grill or make raclette at home. Some days it is very crowded but the ambience is still nice and appropriate. The prices are not mcd or bk! Fortunately. Good food and good service just cost. I always find the prices reasonable and not excessive.

Top-notch on-site, both the food and the service... but unfortunately, one point deducted when ordering (for service), little content and often long waiting times for orders... otherwise, this is just complaining at a high level... you can do better!

Once you're INSIDE the restaurant, everything is forgotten and you're treated with style!!! My wife and I say that this was by far the best piece of meat we've been served in a long time!!!

The starter, breaded mushrooms with garlic mayonnaise, was super tasty. The main course was a 300 gram beef fillet with pepper and extra bacon beans. Everything together is simply a poem, perfect meat with the side dishes, simply TOP!!!!! Not a long wait, friendly service, great food and at the end a Sambuca on the house. When I'm in Berlin from Rosenheim I'll come back.

We have been a regular guest there for over 20 years, the quality of the food is consistently very high, for us it is the best steakhouse in Berlin, the staff are always very friendly and accommodating and some have been there since we were there for the first time, The steaks are always exactly as desired - admittedly not exactly cheap, but you should pay for the quality on offer here. The ambience is pleasant, there are seats outside but it is uncomfortably loud on a main road. We can recommend it with a clear conscience, the steaks are well portioned :) and you can also have them served on a hot plate...

Let me start with the only negative 😊 The outdoor area/terrace is very uncomfortable because of the main street. And now to the positive sides. The interior is cozy and rustic, typical steakhouse. The service is friendly, fast, very attentive and any special requests are happy to be fulfilled. The steak has been of consistently high quality for decades. In short: the food is pure enjoyment. I know many steakhouses, but this is the best. Even with the delivery service, which I have often used, everything is great. If you want good steak 🥩, then go to Asado. 💯% recommended 👍 Enjoyed on site again today. Everything perfect as always. We felt very comfortable.

In addition to the delicious food, what is particularly positive is that the staff has been there for years and doesn't change all the time. Even during Corona, the staff was retained. They are so attentive that you are recognized and even if you only visit 3-4 times a year, the waiters still know your order.

It's been a long time since I've eaten this tasty and good food with really top quality meat, prepared to perfection and at a price that hasn't skyrocketed in an inflationary and absurd manner. We celebrated a birthday, I was very grateful that there were no annoying serenades and the service was just so nice. ;-) The ambience is, well, everything is pretty old. 43 years under his belt and it shows. But it doesn't detract from the quality of the entire evening.

No esperes verdaderos argentinos. El servicio es excelente. Este lugar es alrededor de 40 + años por una razón y tiene una buena posición con los lugareños, también. Como habitual, me gusta el ambiente. Si usted está acostumbrado a los restaurantes modernos puede ser un poco oscuro. Así solían ser los restaurantes en Alemania cuando era niño. También puedes sentarte afuera si no te importa el tráfico. Aunque hace unos años estaba mal vestido con los rips de repuesto de un amigo, siempre estamos muy contentos con la trucha y el "Asado Spiess" (carne de res, tocino, cebolla y pimientos en un palo). Tenga en cuenta que la carne es un producto natural - a veces es súper tierno, a veces no tanto. No se puede equivocar con la cerveza de barril (muy buenas pastillas de Westfalia y cerveza de trigo bávara) y helado, también. No confundir con varios otros lugares calles "Asado".

My absolute favorite steakhouse in Berlin. The best steak ever!!! Great salad, brilliant house dressing. The steak sauce is legendary! Great fries, always served with warm baguette. The ambience is not great, the shop is quite dark and airy. The air is filled with the smell of cooking, which can be really smoky. Service is good, but there is still room for improvement. You go to this steakhouse if you're in the mood for a really great steak... something like that is otherwise only possible in Berlin for a lot more money. I've been going there for 25 years! Absolute recommendation...!

The ASADO in Scharnweber has been my absolute favorite steakhouse for many years. The prices for a steakhouse have been moderate for years. The staff always nice. And, most importantly, the meat is always cooked to perfection. If I order medium rare there, that's what I get there. I've had different experiences at many steakhouses. Unfortunately, the area around the restaurant is not nice and parking spaces are rare due to the many subway construction sites. The restaurant's furnishings are a bit old, but otherwise okay.

In my opinion and that of my father (a guest there for 20 years) it's the best steakhouse in Berlin, the prices are perfectly fine and so is the ambience and service. The only thing that's a shame is the current parking availability through the BVG bridge construction site, and the area where I don't let my wife go to the car alone.
