I bought vouchers online for my sister and father for a meal. I should mention beforehand... we really enjoy eating out and are happy to spend money on good food. We wanted to reserve a table together – six people (three vouchers for two people each). Then he became incredibly rude and told us we couldn't get a table. The vouchers can't be combined. Of course, that's not mentioned online. But here's the really interesting part... We could have reserved three separate tables. Yet he refuses to serve us together. We're always looking for great restaurants, for example, for Christmas dinner with the company. I wouldn't even eat here for free anymore. We've never been treated like this before. We're shocked. This is by far the rudest owner I've ever spoken to. I will contact the seller of the vouchers immediately.

I dined at Hölscher Steakhouse today with my family. I had an English T-bone steak – simply superb! Perfectly cooked, fantastic flavor, and cooked to perfection. The service was also friendly and attentive. All in all, a wonderful experience – we'll definitely be back!

First time there. For starters, I had a beef soup, just like my grandma used to make it 😋, followed by the steak plate. The beef steaks were tender and cooked to perfection, and the turkey steak was incredibly tender and juicy. They came with fries (in exchange for the baked potato). For dessert, I had vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, while my companion had pancakes with cherries and vanilla ice cream. A good and successful sweet ending. It was a lovely evening with excellent food, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

A restaurant where you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. Especially in the colder months, it's nice to sit near the fireplace. The food arrives quickly and tastes delicious. The service is also prompt and friendly. Vegetarian options are also available, with easy adaptation of the dishes.

We're not from Bochum and went to Steakhaus Hölscher thanks to a voucher. We had a four-course candlelit dinner including an Aperol Spritz. The food was delicious and the portions extremely generous. For the first time, my husband had to have his dessert wrapped. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is rustic and perfect for true motorcycle enthusiasts.

Unfortunately, Groupon doesn't work with the voucher. We were told over the phone that there were no free tables. We went anyway (otherwise we would have missed the voucher's validity) and were immediately offered a free table. They said they couldn't use the voucher because we hadn't made a reservation. We think the whole Groupon thing and this pub is a rip-off. It wasn't possible to extend the voucher because the connection with the provider was lost.

The food at the steakhouse was absolutely outstanding. Every dish, especially the steak, was perfectly prepared and a true delight. The service was also excellent – ​​attentive, friendly, and fast. The only minor criticism is the ambiance, which lacked a bit of coziness. Nevertheless, the positive impressions far outweigh the negative. If you value excellent food and great service, this is the place for you!

Four of us were there yesterday for a three-course meal. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. A fantastic ambiance with numerous eye-catchers. The service was exceptionally good and always very pleasant and entertaining. All four of us ordered different dishes and were absolutely delighted with the taste. The staff checked in every now and then to see if everything was to our satisfaction and asked for drinks in a non-intrusive manner. The soups were incredibly delicious, and the dessert was really, really good😋 There is one negative point, though... the time went by far too quickly and, in our opinion, was far too short for 90 minutes 😉 (the 90 minutes weren't specified for us 😉). Conclusion... we would definitely love to come back👍😋👏

Cons: €32.90 for the pictured steak with scampi is absolutely outrageous! The steak tasted bland, weak, and burnt. The scapi was overcooked and tasted rubbery. The sauce could have been left out, as it had just as little flavor as the steak. The hollandaise sauce is definitely not homemade, and it tastes that way, too. The coleslaw was a bit over the top. Pros: The beetroot salad was good. Overall: The decor is reminiscent of a cross between a Hell's Angels, a country inn, and an aquarium, which somehow doesn't make sense.

Highly recommended! The steakhouse impressed me with its outstanding cuisine and excellent service. The three-course menu was perfectly prepared and tasted fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend the steakhouse and am already looking forward to my next visit! 5 stars from me!

This supposedly good steakhouse was simply outrageous, we had a groupon voucher and were therefore put in the last corner, the 300g steak was never 300g. Max 200g., the wine, €5 in the shop, for €20 a bottle, the dessert, after the salad was already mediocre, I wanted to have it packed up, I had paid for everything. That's not possible, it's a groupon voucher (34.99). The starter soup tasted like cup soup from the supermarket, and the staff were only moderately friendly after they realized we had the voucher. All in all, a place where the dogs sat on the benches yapping, a failure in terms of hygiene, the starter plate was dirty and had to be replaced. The plate on which the supposed 300g steak was served was completely dirty, so much so that the burnt-on dirt couldn't even be scraped off, the starter had 6 slices of what was probably a pizza roll... just below the belt! I would give 0 stars give.....And there were only a third of the appetizers listed on Groupon, I wanted croquettes as stated, there are none! Pure rip-off, and supposedly 5 Groupon stars award, everything faked in my opinion. The 60 euros I wasted was money wasted. And tomorrow I'll let Groupon know I took photos of their dirty plates!!! Additionally, Groupon even refunded me 20 euros after seeing the pictures of the plates.

My conclusion from December 30th, 2024 is quite late: We redeemed a Groupon voucher for the steak menu. But no difference was made in that we were allowed to eat at a discount. As a starter there was the best tomato soup of my life, followed by perfectly cooked steaks. The quality of the meat was also great. I can highly recommend the tiramisu as a dessert. We'll be back! The restaurant is in a nice older style with a fireplace in the back room and generally nice decoration. The staff is incredibly friendly (were served by a gentleman) and funny and the food comes to the table quickly. We had a 3 course meal of soup, rump steak and tiramisu. If I had to complain about something it would probably be that the tiramisu was very cold, almost as if it had just been thawed. Otherwise everything is really great! We'd love to come back
