A real treat – absolutely recommended! I was here with my family and I loved it. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish, the service incredibly friendly and attentive. My steak was cooked perfectly – tender, juicy and just right. The side dishes, especially the salads and grilled vegetables, were also excellent. The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired. All in all, an all-round successful day with first-class food and a great ambience. I'll definitely be back!

We were at the Hölscher restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was not only very tasty, but also reasonably priced. You can tell that the cooking here is done with quality and love. We were particularly impressed by the friendly service. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, especially when dealing with our children. It's nice to see how welcome families are here. The atmosphere was cozy and we felt completely comfortable. A restaurant that we definitely recommend and will happily visit again!

I was simply speechless. After a very long time, it was something very nice and varied. The streak would be prepared juicy medium-rare to perfection. It was so enjoyable. You could also have the salad served as often as you wanted and the tiramisu at the end. So delicious and without alcohol. The hospitality and service was just so good. The place felt nice and warm and cozy. With a fireplace and lots of vintage miniature motorcycles to look at. At the end we also got 0.2cl of schnapps on the house. I wasn't aware that you can only pay in cash. Despite my ignorance, as I was unfortunately 2 euros short on cash, the host was quite understanding. I can only recommend this store. We were here in January 2025. The atmosphere is very cozy The festive and New Year's interior looked quite creative. The staff is very kind and friendly. The dishes are clean, beautiful and in good condition. Dishes - very, very! delicious The portion is quite enough to be able to have a good dinner until full even for an adult man. You can combine salads yourself and choose as many and as many varieties as you want. Quick time from ordering to serving. The sanitary room is clean, there is no unpleasant smell, toilet paper and paper towels are in sufficient quantity. There is no smell from the kitchen to the guest hall. I recommend this cozy place! We were very satisfied and intend to come here more than once! Thanks to the chef, waiters and staff. You gave us the feeling of a New Year's fairy tale.

My absolute favorite restaurant! We've been going here for years and it's always perfect! The food is super tasty and the service is first class. We always feel warmly welcome and in good hands. I love the beef broth and the delicious mushroom schnitzel. The salad bar is also a highlight. My grandmother, who is usually very critical, also loves the restaurant. The motorbikes and the fireplace in the back are also great. You can tell that everything was designed with love! Hello everyone. First of all, I'm actually not a fan of online reviews. For our silver wedding anniversary we ordered a nice table for seven people. Result..1 table for four at the back left even though there were a maximum of 10 people in the restaurant without us. After we were implemented, the disaster began. Unfriendliness... Service from the lady was substandard... Only the food was ok..Yes ok!! We have already celebrated many celebrations at hölscher...2019 registry office for our daughter...birthdays...etc Yesterday Hölscher lost customers. It's a shame...a shame...goodbye Hölscher headquarters

We had the 4 course menu and it was really excellent. We really liked the atmosphere, it was very cozy and inviting. Everything was super tasty and beautifully prepared. The service was top and always very attentive. We never had to wait long between courses, but we still didn't feel like it was hectic. As a thank you at the end there was a small digestif on the house, very tasty! All in all a great restaurant, would love to come back!

Dear ladies and gentlemen, I would like to thank you very much for the warm birthday evening. We were surprised with a small birthday decoration and champagne reception. Then we were given a well-filled menu with something for every taste. We received delicious, warm food, good drinks and the waitress always had a funny saying and we realized that our well-being was the top priority. The food couldn't have been decorated and prepared better, whether it was a starter, mussels, main course or dessert. An experience for our family and our palate. The price was reasonable and standard for the industry. Nevertheless, the greeting from the kitchen, which included a champagne reception and a bottle of wine, was there. We just thought it was a shame that you couldn't pay by card. Still, just great! Thanks for the evening

We were here because we had given away a Groupon voucher for a 3-course meal, but the recipient could not redeem it in time. In retrospect, I'm very happy about it. We were assigned a seat directly at the counter. It wasn't that great but it was ok. The soup was almost the highlight of the menu. Tasty and well seasoned. We were not asked how we would like our steak and therefore expected medium. Unfortunately I have to say, both were almost completely finished. The salad bar was, well, what can I say? Snack style? The fries were ok, but the potato, which had far too little cream, could easily get stuck in the throat. Right from the start, I always used very little cream with each piece of potato. But the worst thing was the alleged tiramisu 😖 I was really looking forward to it but it was a total failure. I have no idea what it was but it wasn't tiramisu. The place was relatively empty since it wasn't even 6 p.m. We had to order all three courses straight away. It always took an incredibly long time until the next course came. All in all we sat here for 80 minutes and I found that to be far too long. The waitresses were friendly but not very attentive. We weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink.

We had pre-ordered a 3-course menu. There is a choice of two starter soups, two steaks with various side dishes or ready-made menu plates and a choice of two desserts. For us it became tomato soup, rump steak with fresh mushrooms and tiramisu or tomato soup, sirloin steak with fries and vanilla ice cream with hot cherries. The service was very quick and attentive. Everything tasted excellent and was appetizingly prepared. The prices are reasonable. The ambience is a bit of everything, which makes the whole thing uneasy. But everything is clean and somehow quaint. When we are back in Wattenscheid, we would be happy to come back.

We came for the 5th time and it was not only excellent as always - no, it was even better than ever before! How can you sear a steak so perfectly and make it buttery soft?! Even something as banal as fries achieves perfection. The friendly service was courteous and reserved. There's simply nothing to complain about. (The possibility of paying by card may be considered) Designated parking spaces would be the cherry on the cake :)

The meat was cooked to perfection. Very juicy. Everything tasted very good. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The ambience has remained in the 80s/90s - but it doesn't bother you.

We always like it very much. We come from Marburg and when we are in Wattenscheid we always eat here with my cousin and my mother. The atmosphere is very nice, the waiters are very nice and the food tastes very good. We are always the last to leave the restaurant on Sundays, but we are always treated courteously. The waiter always has a nice saying on his lips. We also once had to host a sad family event in the hall. Everything was done to our best satisfaction. I highly recommend it.

But the restaurant wasn't just visually impressive. I was particularly impressed by the friendliness and courteousness of the staff. Although the steakhouse was busy, the service was quick and without long waiting times. The kitchen deserves special praise: every dish was perfectly prepared. If you haven't visited the Hölscher steakhouse restaurant yet, you should definitely do so. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that I would be happy to repeat.

We were at the Hölscher headquarters for the first time on Saturday and were very surprised - positively. We didn't expect the great ambience, everything harmonious. The food was excellent: from the homemade soup, the main course with a salad buffet, to the dessert and the digestif. Since the food smelled so bad, I forgot to take pictures of it. If you want to have a nice meal in a well-kept ambience, you are well advised to visit here.

Very friendly welcome, the starter was super tasty, the bread was warm and soft on the inside. They also have a really tasty herb butter. The meat was delicious and fried just right, the sauce was fresh and not a powder sauce. Unfortunately there is a deduction for the salad, the selection could be better and with fresh leaf salads such as pickled lettuce. I didn't like the coleslaw at all.

We were warmly greeted at lunchtime yesterday. We didn't make a reservation, but went there spontaneously. As a starter there was a gift from the house, some delicious slices of white bread with lard and herb butter. Afterwards we were served the soup of the day - the taste was simply unique! Freshly prepared and with ingredients, highly recommended. We were able to help ourselves to the rich salad buffet. The waiter was/is always friendly and very customer-oriented. For the main course we ordered Cordon Bleu. Simply fantastic! And now comes the dessert; Even though we were already full and couldn't actually eat anything, this dessert still tempted us. There was freshly prepared fruit salad - like the entire meal - with 2 scoops of ice cream and cream. Heavenly! And beautifully decorated too. At the end there was a Julischka. I would be happy to give even more stars if I could. We were very satisfied, would of course be happy to come back and recommend the restaurant.

After many years we were once again at the Steakhaus Hölscher. I can recommend it very well. We were pleasantly surprised. Very comfortably furnished. We ordered a platter for two people. That would have been enough for three. The menu is very varied. It wasn't the last time we were there.

We were there for the first time today with two people. The prawns as a starter were not fried to death, but lacked an exclusive taste for the price of €18 per portion. The stuffed rump steak was a bit overdone, the fillet steak was without these quality defects. Overall, everything was acceptable, but we won't be coming back as there are better alternatives in the area for a steak experience.
