Galletto Grill in Bochum

A small, very fine restaurant! We haven't eaten such good meat (fillet/T-bone) for a long time. And even the fillet burger and the salad are highly recommended. The waitresses were very accommodating and we felt really comfortable. If we come to Bochum again, we will definitely eat there again. Treat yourself to a great evening there! :)

Great restaurant and real surprise. Perhaps not so obvious from the outside, it is a real gourmet oasis. High quality and extremely tasty meat/steaks. Of course a little more expensive than the run-of-the-mill Greek or Italian restaurant, but it's worth it. We went there as a family and everyone really enjoyed it. The service was also really extremely nice and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

A pleasure experience at the highest level and service that inspires Last Friday there were 5 of us at Galletto and we were truly surprised. We were welcomed by Chef Iggi, who immediately suggested a menu with wine accompaniment and I have to say, we were all thrilled. It started with a fantastic appetizer platter, then continued with T-bone steak, then there was tomahawk steak, then rump steak with pepper sauce and, as a highlight, saddle of venison with venison avioli in sage sauce. Finally, a wonderful dessert platter. Everything delicious and of the highest quality. The wine pairing was also excellent. Overall, a true pleasure experience. This won't be the last visit to Galletto - many thanks to Iggi and his team!

Fantastically delicious food, great service! It was just very cold outside now and at the beginning it was extremely warm in the room. When the heater was turned off, it quickly became fresh in the small room. Nevertheless: we'll come back when we're in the corner!

Yesterday I went to the Galletto Grill for the first time with my partner before visiting Starlight Express (just a few minutes walk away). The restaurant is small and cozy, we immediately felt at home. The meat was perfectly fried and the side dishes were also very tasty. The service also left nothing to be desired. We'd love to come back!

We (couple) went to the Galetto Grill Restaurant for the first time today and were very impressed. A super cute little place, but nice atmosphere (very private). The service was incredibly nice and courteous, not intrusive. We got our food pretty quickly and it was incredibly tasty!!! The prices are completely reasonable for the great quality of the food. The place was buzzing and we were glad to have a reservation. The tartare was a poem, as was the homemade one. The main courses, linguine with prawns and tagliatelle with strips of beef fillet, were delicious. The portions are sized so that you feel full. Service was nice and efficient. Happy to come back!

We discovered this restaurant by chance while visiting the planetarium! We wanted to eat something together beforehand! We were expecting a normal pizzeria, and then something like this! The eight of us were thrilled! Authentic, Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients that you can taste! Meat, fish, pasta, burgers! No run-of-the-mill pizza! All dishes were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked! Simply delicious! Friendly, quick service! We definitely weren't there for the last time!

i was there last Saturday, this is my first time in Bochum so i tried Galletto, we took pasta with Gambas and it was so perfeeeeeeeect, like that was the best handmade Pasta i ever had, even much better than i tried in Venice, Italy . I recommend this Restaurant.

First of all, I just love this place. You enter the guest room and notice that passion is pulsating here. Landed there through Instagram, they said “best steakhouse in Bochum”. I was there full of expectations, unfortunately these were not fulfilled. We were greeted warmly and were allowed to choose a table in the rather small restaurant. We were given the map, which is also written on the walls. You had to crane your neck to see everything. I actually wanted a good piece of meat, but €32 for 200g WITHOUT a side dish was too much for me, especially since they charge an extra €6 for the red wine sauce. I then decided on pasta with burrata and Italian sausage. Unfortunately, the burrata was very dry and had no typical creaminess at all. The noodles were also quite oily, but otherwise tasted okay. My companion chose the fillet, which was delicious. Unfortunately, extra mayonnaise for the sweet potato fries was served in a plastic bag. As a starter we had the bread basket with aioli, the latter was rather limited in size and was taken away without a word when it was empty. Since there was still bread available, one could have asked if some more could be brought. Based on my expectations and the prices, I wouldn't come again. Street parking available.

It's not often that a restaurant visit pleases me in every way, but bisteccheria Galletto ticks all the boxes. Excellent food, cool design and atmosphere and a friendly staff. I like the fact there's meat as well as traditional Italian pasta dishes on the menu. No matter what you have, it will make you come back for more.

You don't expect what awaits you. There's a grill, fine food is available. Very tasty food, friendly and courteous staff, high prices. The equipment is more like a grill, but once you try the first bite it doesn't matter. We will go back again and again and recommend it to family and friends.

Rarely have I had such delicious steak meat, a clear recommendation! Despite the “full hut”, the staff was super nice and attentive and the wine recommendation was also a hit.

We (2 people) were in the restaurant two days ago. From the outside you get the impression of a chip shop, drinking hall or similar. From the inside it is very pleasant. The service is top and the food is even better. Vegetarian and vegan food is rather low represented. Overall, the map is manageable anyway, which we very much welcome. The vegan burger is highly recommended. The meat dishes are perfect. Side dishes as well. We would be happy to visit the Galletto Grill again at any time.

Einer der Besten Restaurantbesuche, die ich je hatte. Wer Essen in extrem guter Qualität bevorzugt ist hier richtig beraten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Szenelokal, schönes Ambiente. Bedienung korrekt, nicht besonders freundlich. Essen schmackhaft, außer dass die Rosmarinkartoffeln total versalzene Salzkartoffeln waren. Die Gläser mit Rotwein wurden immer mit einer fingerbreiten Füllung unter dem Eichstrich geliefert (Geschäftemacherei? )

First of all, the store is really super small, but every inch is paved with seating. Of course, this means that there is a certain background noise. Despite reservations, we had to wait for a free seat. It also took more than 10 minutes for the cards to be distributed and the first drink order to be taken. The taste of the starter and main course was average at best, but the price was rather higher. But the worst thing was the service. There were empty drinks on the table, but no one asked if you wanted another drink. After the main course, dessert was no longer offered or asked for an espresso or something similar. I've never experienced it in this form before. Probably not dependent on regular customers due to the Ruhrcongress, Star Light and VFL Stadium. It was definitely our first and last visit.

We spontaneously went to Galletto for the first time on Friday...we didn't have a reservation and the restaurant was full...but they made it possible for the three of us to get a seat...the food was very good and everything was fresh prepared...from the bread to the aioli to the burger bun...I'm happy to pay an extra euro for this freshness...we come from Osnabrück and will definitely be back next time we visit Bochum...highly recommended...

We were there for the first time at the weekend and ate all sorts of delicacies, from a mixed starter plate, to a selection of meat (including side dishes), to the main course, and finally a selection of desserts. Everything was great. The service was also great. We will be back.

We were looking for a restaurant near the RuhrCongress so we could eat out before the event. We found the Galletto Grill via Google Maps and a table was reserved online quickly and easily. A parking space was quickly found, the restaurant looks rather unspectacular from the outside. That changes when you enter - small but nice! The table at the edge of the dining room, slightly elevated, was ideal for two people; the service was quick, friendly and unobtrusive. The food from the pleasantly manageable menu was consistently first class, not cheap, but worth the price! A clear recommendation for us, especially in combination with RuhrCongress or StarlightExpress!

Unfortunately, very long waiting times (we waited almost an hour for the food). The fish starter plate was very tasty (tuna tartare is great!). Unfortunately, the burger and lasagne were not a highlight. The lasagne was specifically mentioned as being homemade. At the. The meat was of good quality, unfortunately it was only lukewarm when it was served. Prices are rather high - unfortunately the food's taste and service don't do justice to it.

If you like delicious food and good service, this is the place for you. It's small and nice, but if you're looking for a nice pizza, you're totally out of place here. Great place, very good price/performance ratio...

Tisch war auch frei, Getränke kamen zügig, Essenbestellung mit Schwierigkeiten versehen. Speisekarte zwar klein gehalten und sehr übersichtlich (eigentlich ein gutes Zeichen), Aussage des Kellners, dass alle Nudeln hausgemacht seien, mag zwar stimmen, aber nicht in diesem Lokal. Zudem für einen Teller "hausgemachter" Penne mit Salsiccia 24€ zu verlangen ist sehr sportlich. Mit dem Entrecote gab es irgendein fadenscheiniges Problem in der Küche ("Köche hätten ein Fehler gemacht, ein anderes Entrecote war aber nicht mehr vorrätig, ob man auch ein anderes Stück Fleissch wählen könne"), insgesamt sicherlich 45´auf die Hauptspeise gewartet. Und dies in einem kleinen, aber sehr gemütlichem Grill. Fühlte mich an meinen letzten Besuch vor ca.15 Jahren erinnert. Und wußte dann auch wieder warum ich den Galetto Grill so lange nicht mehr besucht hatte.

"Hervorragend" Kleiner unscheinbarer Laden der es in sich hat mit gehobenerer Gastronomie. Top Speisen und super Service! Nicht günstig aber seinen Preis absolut Wert. Wir hatten ein perfektes Steak und geile Röstzwiebeln, hausgemachte Pasta mit Gambas, einen tollen Steakburger und selbst-gemachtes Brot mit tollen Dips. Auch die Weinempfehlung war top 👍🏼 Als Tipp, vorher unbedingt reservieren. Ps. Danke für den schönen Abend bei euch

Sehr enttäuscht. Wollten ursprünglich im Momo essen. Dort war alles belegt. Die nette Bedienung hat uns dann zum dazugehörigen Galletto Grill geschickt. Wo wir zwar einen Platz bekamen, aber der war sehr eng. Okay, wir wollten trotzdem etwas essen ( dachten wir sind beim Italiener und bekommen auch Pizza). Falsch gedacht...es war eine relativ kleine Karte...wäre auch nicht schlimm gewesen, aber für dieses Ambiente waren uns die Preise dann doch zu happig. Kein ordentlicher Sitzplatz und dann auch noch solche Preise? Nein Danke!! Keine Empfehlung!!

Das Essen war lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente war sehr schön und gemütlich. Das Restaurant ist einen Besuch wert.

Das Restaurant ist Top! Von außen dachten wir , dass es ein Imbiss wäre, aber weit gefehlt, es ist ein super Restaurant, der Service ist 1A, das Essen ist der Hammer, es wird auch sehr viel selbstgemacht, so wie z.B. die Lasagne oder das Brot, beides sehr zu empfehlen! Enttäuschend in allen drei Leistungsbereichen, vor allem angesichts der Vorbewertungen. Ein aktueller Erfahrungsbericht mit drei Bestellungen: (i) Tagliatelle mit Wildschweingulasch, als Empfehlung des Tages. Das Gericht war insgesamt deutlich überwürzt, die Tagliatelle waren "eingeweicht" in Soße - fraglich, ob tatsächlich "fresca und hausgemacht", auf jeden Fall weit entfernt von "al dente", die Frühlingszwiebelabschnitte waren hart und vertrocknet, das Gulasch war stark zerkleinert und zerfasert wie bei "pulled-Gerichten"; (ii) Burger: Brötchen angeblich selbst gemacht, reichlich belegt mit gebratenen Fleischstücken, dazu belegt mit Tomatenscheiben und Zwiebeln sowie Käse, Pommes Frites als Beilage. Die Pommes Frites waren definitiv nicht selbst gemacht, insgesamt wenig gewürzt, ohne besonderen "Pfiff"; (iii) einzig die Vorspeisen: Brot mit Aioli sowie Pimientos al padron waren schmackhaft. Als ausgesprochen schwach haben wir Sauberkeit und Hygiene empfunden: Spinnweben sichtbar im Gebälk sowie nur laienhaft gespülte Weingläser am Tresen, um zwei konkrete Beispeile zu nennen: eigentlich "no-go" für professionell geführte Restaurants. Insgesamt hat der Charme eines italienischen Restaurants die o.g. deutlichen Mängel nicht aufgewogen, schade! Preis-Leistung stimmen hier leider nicht.
