Steakhaus Mendoza in Waren (Müritz)

Sind heute zum Mittagessen da gewesen, service sehr nett,das Essen war super. Die Terrasse könnte ein paar schöne Pflanzen vertragen. Alles im allem kann man empfehlen.

Sehr lecker, super freundlich. Preise angemessen. Schöne Atmosphäre. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub tatsächlich 2 mal hier.

Wir hatten als Vorspeise gebackenen Camenbert. Altes Brot, die Ananasscheiben haben nicht nach Ananas geschmeckt. Die Preiselbeeren konnte man zählen. Cocktail war weit von einem cockail entfernt. Einfach Orangensaft aus dem Tetrapack mit Eis. Konnte man nicht trinken so sauer war das. Pizza sah aus wie im Supermarkt gekauft.

Der Service, nahezu arrogant und abwertend. Die Pizza Salami für 11.50 Euro gleicht einer Tiefkühlprodukte, ich war noch nie so enttäuscht von einer Pizza, selbst mein Sohn (7 Jahr) sage beim öffnen."Das ist ja erbärmlich!" Zu Gast am 06.06.26 gewesen. Unterirdisch. Terrasse zugänglich über provisorische Treppen zur Unkraut überwucherten Terrasse. Meidet dieses Restaurant.

Bin super zufrieden. Preis Leistung stimmt. Sehr freundliches Personal und wir wurden zügig bedient. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Seit Jahren Kundin und heute nach längerer Pause wieder dort gewesen - was soll ich sagen Preis Leistung war super pro Person gerade mal etwas über 30 € bezahlt. Steak war super zart, frischer Salat und ordentliches Radler. Auch die Vorspeisen war sehr lecker und frisch

Wir haben heute gegessen, der Service war top auch beim Bedienen bei unsere größeren Gruppe. Essen Sonderwünsche waren möglich somit verteilen wir nochmals 5 Sterne. Das Fleisch war auf dem Garpunkt perfekt bei allen Gruppenteilnehmern. Hervorheben möchten wir noch die Beilagen & die Vorspeisen. Das Dessert war auch super lecker. Wir können das Steakhaus in Waren nur empfehlen und kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

Weinbergschnecken zum vergessen, hab noch nie schlechtere gegessen, Steak mit Pfifferlingen und Pommes, Steak si la la, Pfifferlinge waren ok, Pommes waren nicht richtig durch, Fazit: Wiederholung ausgeschlossen, keine Ahnung wo sie die gute Bewertung her genommen haben

Das Steakhaus Mendoza in Waren war insgesamt in Ordnung. Die Speisen und Getränke waren okay und der Besuch war grundsätzlich angenehm. Leider saßen wir direkt am WC, was die Atmosphäre etwas beeinträchtigt hat. Dadurch kam nicht ganz das gemütliche Restaurantgefühl auf, das man sich bei einem Steakhausbesuch wünscht. Insgesamt war es okay, aber beim nächsten Besuch würde ich auf jeden Fall um einen anderen Platz bitten.

Sehr gutes Essen, guter Service, absolut nix zu meckern. Die Terrasse liegt nachmittags und abends schön in der Sonne. Vom Radweg aus liegt das Restaurant etwas versteckt.

Sind zum Mittagessen dort gewesen, Service war sehr freundlich, auch hilfsbereit mit unsere Tochter. Essen hat ein wenig lange gedauert und war, finde ich, kleine Portion und geschmacklich nicht so toll. Müsste ich nicht nochmal hin.

Nie wieder!!! Ich kann nur jedem davon abraten diese Lokalität zu besuchen wenn man Wert auf Service. Ich bestellte „Pute alla Curry „ Ich bekam ein Putenschnitzel (das in etwa so platt und dünn war wie in etwa ein Blatt Papier) mit Curry Sauce (total dünne Plörre ohne Bindung oder irgendeiner Form von Soße) und 5, in Worten, Fünf Kroketten auf meinem Teller. Lächerlich!!! Diese Portion kostete mich dann auch stolze 18,90€ Meine Frau bestellte eine Gemüse-Fleischpfanne und dann noch 2 Getränke für uns. Der Preis ging und war ok. Doch jetzt kommt es richtig dicke: Nachdem unser Essen lieblos serviert wurde, rief ich die Bedingung und fragte leise und dezent ob Sie sich vertan haben, da meine Portion doch eher einem Kinderteller glich. Als Antwort bekam ich das alles seine Richtigkeit habe….. und dann nahm das Schicksal seinen Lauf. Frau Mendoza kam an unseren Tisch und belehrte mich, dass Sie ja keine größeren Portionen reichen könne, da sonst die Kalkulation nicht mehr stimmen würde. Dann ging sie an einen Nebentisch (der laut ihren Angaben mit Stammgästen belegt war) und erkundigte sich ob den die Portionen zu klein wären. Was bitte ist das für ein unprofessioneller Umgang mit Gästen. Service stelle ich mir anders vor. Sie kam dann noch weitere 2 mal an unseren Tisch und rechtfertigte sich in sehr angriffslustiger Weise wie ich sie bis dato noch nicht erlebt habe. FRECHHEIT!!! Alle Versuche einfach in Ruhe meinen Abend mit meiner Frau zu genießen scheiterten. Also, schneller essen und dann die Rechnung bestellt. Auf Nachfrage ob ich auch mit Karte zahlen könne wurde ich dann sehr harsch angefahren das dass nur am Tresen funktionieren würde. Kein Problem dachte ich denn ich wollte diese Lokalität auf dem schnellsten Wege verlassen. Leider machte ich die Rechnung wieder ohne Frau Mendoza, denn kaum am Tresen angekommen wurde ich dieses Mal von Frau und Herrn Mendoza in die Mangel genommen. Nun wurde schon zu zweit auf mich eingeredet das die Portionen reichlich wären und auch ein weiterer Gast wurde von hinzugezogen und befragt. Das es an dieser Stelle kein Trinkgeld gab muss glaube ich nicht extra erwähnt werden denke ich. Naja, nun kann ich wenigstens anderen Besuchern vielleicht mit meinen Erfahrungen weiterhelfen und zum umkehren bewegen. Alles in allem würde ich für das Ambiente 1-2 Sterne, für Essen und Service 0 Sterne vergeben.

Das Essen und der Service war super. Schnelle Zubereitung, liebevoller Service. Wir hatten die Fleischplatte für 2 Personen und die war sehr lecker und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Wir können das Steakhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank und gern kommen wir wieder.

Also: wir waren heute Mittag dort. Top Service, super Essen ! Ich verstehe die negativen Rezensionen nicht. Haben heute 2 entregote Steaks gegessen. Einfach traumhaft. Für gutes Essen muss man auch bezahlen, aber was ich sehr gut fande: 2 erwachsene haben Kindersteaks bestellt und was mich sehr gefreut hat auch bekommen. Top Qualität zu normalen Preisen. Man kann unterschiedlicher Meinung sein aber die Qualität war einfach super. Lasst Euch nicht unterkriegen. Ihr macht das super. Danke nochmals

Essen war sehr lecker nur die fertig Soße auf dem Grill Teller über dem Brokkoli muss nicht sein, auf Nachfrage … ist für die Deko , die Gäste mögen das. Echt schade. Es war sehr voll und wir haben uns lange Wartezeit eingestellt die nicht nötig war.

Lange Wartezeit, weil der Laden voll war, ok, muss mann hinnehmen. Das Essen, hier das Fleisch, war kalt, dafür war das Gemüse heiß 🔥, einmal und niewieder. Wir haben gegessen weil wir hungrig waren. Essen reklamiert, aber keinerlei Entschuldigung. Schade.

Wir waren im Steakhouse Mendoza essen und sind absolut begeistert! Das Essen war hervorragend das Steak war perfekt auf den Punkt gebraten, unglaublich zart und voller Geschmack. Auch die Beilagen und Saucen waren frisch und sehr lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist gemütlich und stilvoll, ideal für einen entspannten Abend mit Familie oder Freunden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war sehr gut und für mich ausreichend. Ein "ausgewachsener" Mensch hätte jedoch bestimmt mehr vertragen...

Uns wurde schnell ein Tisch zugewiesenen wir reserviert hatten, jedoch mussten wir dann schon eine halbe Stunde warten, um überhaupt eine Bestellung abgeben zu können. Unsere Getränke wurden relativ zügig gebracht, etwas später folgten dann die Vorspeisen. Auf die Hauptspeisen mussten wir allerdings anderthalb Stunden warten.

Hier fehlt ein wenig das liebevolle Anrichten der Gerichte. Ambiente ist nicht schön. Der Service war hingegen sehr nett. Essen war solide. Fleisch war okay. Wir würden jetzt aber nicht nochmal hingehen.

We were there today and were very disappointed, from the unfriendly service to the frozen food. Overall, everything was poor! We won't be back! The prices are unjustified compared to Mexican food; we're used to high-quality food! The restrooms weren't up to standard. Bottom line: never again.

You expect excellent meat quality from a steakhouse, and a fillet steak not only has to be number 44, but also a fillet steak, according to the service staff, which indicated that it was the correct number. This is very unprofessional, and we were very, very disappointed. Then we were simply billed without an apology. Anyone who enjoys a steakhouse meal... definitely not recommended, and a professional would handle justified criticism differently. Terrible...

Some things are quite tasty, like the pasta 🍝 or even a decent steak 🥩👌. But others seem completely careless – ready-made salad dressing simply poured over the food 🥗, the meat grilled to death 🔥🥩. An absolute stroke of luck, depending on what you order. I found the small salad plate 🥬 really annoying: for just under 8 euros, you barely get more than what other guests automatically get as a side dish with their meat 🤯. Absolutely unacceptable. The service is also mixed 🙄. Not unfriendly, but rather disorganized, and it seems like they're not really engaging with their guests 🤷‍♂️. Probably because many of them are tourists who won't be coming back anyway. Ambiance/decor: Trying hard, but more like the charm of a better cafeteria. Overall, unfortunately, I only give it 2 out of 5 stars – the value for money just isn't there ❌.

...I haven't eaten this badly in a long time!!...after 10 days in Waren, the absolute worst meal. The fillet steak wasn't freshly prepared. Not recommended!!

Unfortunately, the positive reviews weren't confirmed... We had the platter for two people. Our meat was unfortunately underseasoned and very dry. At the chef's request, we added some sour cream dip, which we were unfortunately charged an additional €3.50 for without prior notice... Unfortunately, we won't be ordering again.

After having already visited many restaurants in Waren, Mendoza was still on our list. We spontaneously made another visit today. After a short wait, we were assigned a table. It was so inconveniently located that we had to squint against the setting sun. Due to the number of people and the lack of a reservation, moving was impossible. The choice was quickly made, and we looked forward to two sirloin steaks with baked potatoes and steakhouse fries. Despite the warning that there would be a wait, the steaks were served quite quickly. They say you eat with your eyes. In this case, we were grateful for the distracting sun. The arrangement was beyond loveless. The steak and fries didn't even come with ketchup or sauce. That would have at least helped to cover up the strange taste of the steak. For a moment, we thought that the steak was fried with liver. The meat was also very tough and dry, which seems odd for a sirloin steak. Additionally, we'd never experienced a steak being cut in half before cooking. While this made it look larger, it ended up being very firm. The salad we ate was okay, and the baked potato deserved its name. The service seemed rushed and reminiscent of a fast-food restaurant, but it wasn't unfriendly. The ambiance and noise level were reminiscent of a train station concourse, so we definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I usually like to post photos of my food, but in this case, I deliberately refrained from doing so.

I spontaneously spotted it from the harbor and immediately visited. I didn't regret it. The food was excellent and the service very attentive. A visit is planned for when I'm back in Waren.

The salad was crisp and fresh and a solid 1. Bruschetta was also great and really tasty. Unfortunately, the steak was a solid 6! It was medium-well done, and the fillet was sirloin steak quality. The accompanying sour cream was spring curd cheese and far from what you'd call delicious and expect from a steakhouse. There's no steak sauce and no garlic bread. If you call yourself a steakhouse, you really need to change something. Clearly not recommended if you want a delicious steak.

I was there again after a long time and was very disappointed: The meat was simply not good, thin, "shoe-like," especially the beef, not well cooked, the color and texture more like soup meat. Shortly after serving, a waiter came and asked if everything was okay, as we hadn't even gotten to the meat yet. When we were clearing, the waiter didn't even ask again, and there was no reaction to my comment about the meat. Overall, the service was also unsatisfactory, even though the place was completely empty - if there's going to be a candle at the table, then please light it. If the beer is almost empty when the food is delivered, it would be good to ask - a shame. Back then, I wrote: Great service, very tasty food, good selection, a paradise for meat lovers. But for others too ;) I can't say that anymore.

I've been a regular here for years and always enjoy coming back with my husband or friends. What I particularly like is that the quality and taste are always consistent and don't fluctuate. I can't recommend this place under any circumstances. Not only is there a significant backlog of repairs in the restaurant and outside area, but the food seems carelessly presented and has a very bland flavor, more reminiscent of frozen food thawed in the microwave. My fillet steak was dry and simply tasteless. The entire presentation of the food is very careless.

Unfortunately, the waitress seemed very disinterested and only half-listened. The dishes weren't exactly great either. Some of them tasted like ready-made minute steaks, and the sirloin steak was very well done, even though it was ordered medium-rare.

I've never experienced such outrageous behavior. No hygiene, no soap in the bathroom, no service.

We visited Waren (Müritz) today during our vacation and went to eat at the Mendoza Steakhouse. Everything was delicious. We got our drinks very quickly, and the food came quickly, too. The waitresses were all very friendly. If we lived in Waren (Müritz), we would definitely be a regular customer. Our son even got a lollipop as a farewell gift. It was a thoroughly enjoyable meal 😁.

We often visit the harbor with our boat and this time we chose Mendoza. We know many other Mendoza restaurants. We were very impressed here: very friendly staff, fast service, a beautiful view of Lake Müritz, and very large portions for a good price. The quality of the food was also very good for us. We prefer Mendoza in its quiet location to the other restaurants on the harbor promenade, as another one didn't appeal to us. We will definitely be back!!!
