You expect excellent meat quality from a steakhouse, and a fillet steak not only has to be number 44, but also a fillet steak, according to the service staff, which indicated that it was the correct number. This is very unprofessional, and we were very, very disappointed. Then we were simply billed without an apology. Anyone who enjoys a steakhouse meal... definitely not recommended, and a professional would handle justified criticism differently. Terrible...

Food was okay, but for a steakhouse you'd expect a decent steak! Service was short-tempered. Simple decor, not really comfortable.

Some things are quite tasty, like the pasta 🍝 or even a decent steak 🥩👌. But others seem completely careless – ready-made salad dressing simply poured over the food 🥗, the meat grilled to death 🔥🥩. An absolute stroke of luck, depending on what you order. I found the small salad plate 🥬 really annoying: for just under 8 euros, you barely get more than what other guests automatically get as a side dish with their meat 🤯. Absolutely unacceptable. The service is also mixed 🙄. Not unfriendly, but rather disorganized, and it seems like they're not really engaging with their guests 🤷‍♂️. Probably because many of them are tourists who won't be coming back anyway. Ambiance/decor: Trying hard, but more like the charm of a better cafeteria. Overall, unfortunately, I only give it 2 out of 5 stars – the value for money just isn't there ❌.

Unfortunately, the positive reviews weren't confirmed... We had the platter for two people. Our meat was unfortunately underseasoned and very dry. At the chef's request, we added some sour cream dip, which we were unfortunately charged an additional €3.50 for without prior notice... Unfortunately, we won't be ordering again.

After having already visited many restaurants in Waren, Mendoza was still on our list. We spontaneously made another visit today. After a short wait, we were assigned a table. It was so inconveniently located that we had to squint against the setting sun. Due to the number of people and the lack of a reservation, moving was impossible. The choice was quickly made, and we looked forward to two sirloin steaks with baked potatoes and steakhouse fries. Despite the warning that there would be a wait, the steaks were served quite quickly. They say you eat with your eyes. In this case, we were grateful for the distracting sun. The arrangement was beyond loveless. The steak and fries didn't even come with ketchup or sauce. That would have at least helped to cover up the strange taste of the steak. For a moment, we thought that the steak was fried with liver. The meat was also very tough and dry, which seems odd for a sirloin steak. Additionally, we'd never experienced a steak being cut in half before cooking. While this made it look larger, it ended up being very firm. The salad we ate was okay, and the baked potato deserved its name. The service seemed rushed and reminiscent of a fast-food restaurant, but it wasn't unfriendly. The ambiance and noise level were reminiscent of a train station concourse, so we definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I usually like to post photos of my food, but in this case, I deliberately refrained from doing so.

I spontaneously spotted it from the harbor and immediately visited. I didn't regret it. The food was excellent and the service very attentive. A visit is planned for when I'm back in Waren.

While it's beautifully located, it's a mass-processing experience. Prices are reasonable, but the feel-good factor is very low. You can do better at home.

The salad was crisp and fresh and a solid 1. Bruschetta was also great and really tasty. Unfortunately, the steak was a solid 6! It was medium-well done, and the fillet was sirloin steak quality. The accompanying sour cream was spring curd cheese and far from what you'd call delicious and expect from a steakhouse. There's no steak sauce and no garlic bread. If you call yourself a steakhouse, you really need to change something. Clearly not recommended if you want a delicious steak.

I was there again after a long time and was very disappointed: The meat was simply not good, thin, "shoe-like," especially the beef, not well cooked, the color and texture more like soup meat. Shortly after serving, a waiter came and asked if everything was okay, as we hadn't even gotten to the meat yet. When we were clearing, the waiter didn't even ask again, and there was no reaction to my comment about the meat. Overall, the service was also unsatisfactory, even though the place was completely empty - if there's going to be a candle at the table, then please light it. If the beer is almost empty when the food is delivered, it would be good to ask - a shame. Back then, I wrote: Great service, very tasty food, good selection, a paradise for meat lovers. But for others too ;) I can't say that anymore.

I've been a regular here for years and always enjoy coming back with my husband or friends. What I particularly like is that the quality and taste are always consistent and don't fluctuate. The prices are absolutely fair, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. 🥰 I highly recommend the pork fillet in Gorgonzola sauce with the green beans. 👌

I can't recommend this place under any circumstances. Not only is there a significant backlog of repairs in the restaurant and outside area, but the food seems carelessly presented and has a very bland flavor, more reminiscent of frozen food thawed in the microwave. My fillet steak was dry and simply tasteless. The entire presentation of the food is very careless.

Unfortunately, the waitress seemed very disinterested and only half-listened. The dishes weren't exactly great either. Some of them tasted like ready-made minute steaks, and the sirloin steak was very well done, even though it was ordered medium-rare.

I've never experienced such outrageous behavior. No hygiene, no soap in the bathroom, no service.

The food was excellent, as expected. The steak was of very good quality and grilled to perfection. The steakhouse fries as a side dish were also a good choice. We sat outside, where the ambiance was more reminiscent of a beer garden, but the service was attentive but unobtrusive. Definitely recommended.

We visited Waren (Müritz) today during our vacation and went to eat at the Mendoza Steakhouse. Everything was delicious. We got our drinks very quickly, and the food came quickly, too. The waitresses were all very friendly. If we lived in Waren (Müritz), we would definitely be a regular customer. Our son even got a lollipop as a farewell gift. It was a thoroughly enjoyable meal 😁.

We often visit the harbor with our boat and this time we chose Mendoza. We know many other Mendoza restaurants. We were very impressed here: very friendly staff, fast service, a beautiful view of Lake Müritz, and very large portions for a good price. The quality of the food was also very good for us. We prefer Mendoza in its quiet location to the other restaurants on the harbor promenade, as another one didn't appeal to us. We will definitely be back!!!

We always enjoy coming back for dinner. The service is particularly friendly and the food is fantastic. The prices are great, and the atmosphere is very pleasant inside and okay on the terrace. Three nights in Waren, with three different restaurants. The "Mendoza" was the worst, which isn't a statement. The ambiance has nothing to do with a steakhouse. We've known Waren on the Müritz for a while and know that the "Mendoza" has been around for a long time, too. Why don't the owners drive around and look at other steakhouses and their preparation of dishes? There's so much potential there. Second criticism: no wine list. I would also like a high-quality wine with a steak. The Argentinian red wine served to us had the charm of a house wine. It's difficult to judge food, as tastes vary. My salad to start with didn't have a good dressing; it was too bland. The fillet steak was well cooked, but a bit of herb butter was missing some spice. I ordered garlic sauce to go with it. Sorry, but it was a garlicky paste. The grilled corn on the cob had been pre-cooked for a while and was left to dry out in the oven. The service was friendly, and so my advice is to make your restaurant more attractive. This would be a case for Rossin. They've been at the location for a long time, they've run out of ideas. The food has always been like this, and that's why they're continuing. I think it's better to love your job, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that.

The three of us had a meal for under €100 with a starter and drinks. Garlic soup is world class. Main courses were prepared to perfection. Absolutely recommended.

After eating I thought: 1. Where is the rest 2. I can make this at home for 1/10 of the price and 3. This tasted like canned soup. Really not recommended, for almost 20€ such a small portion and then everything ready-made... pure tourist rip-off

After reading some of the great reviews, I now have to add my tourist two cents. Basically, we went into the restaurant with no expectations. We got a table straight away and the drinks were ordered quickly. So far so good. Ordering the food went smoothly and it was served quickly, to the delight of the hungry children. I don't want to talk about the food here, but I have to be honest and say that I ate very moderately for the money in the last week. Unfortunately here it's really just mediocre. Personally, I found it to be very carelessly prepared, a matter of taste or not. When I go out to eat, the plate can look different than when I get Fritten Ralf for something quick. The children's plate with fish fingers and fries, nothing more and nothing less, cannot be beaten in terms of poorness. No side dish in the form of a salad, even if perhaps just to brighten it up, no dips or mayo/ketchup. Wasn't even asked. That really wasn't for me. We were full and we're fine, that's a positive conclusion. But please everyone should form their own opinion. I think we're all old enough for that and luckily we don't all tick the same way. Maybe it was also due to the off-season? We'll probably never know...

Ohne Reservierung an Valentinstag haben wir hier noch einen Tisch bekommen. Die Bedienung freundlich, die Auswahl der Speisen reichhaltig. Das Steak war ausgezeichnet und die Beilagen Ofenkartoffel und Maiskolben heiß und frisch. Die Einrichtung und vorallem die Speisekarten sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Preis Leistung stimmt hier!

There are many good restaurants in Waren, this is not one of them. Ambiance? None. You feel like you're in a train station. Cold tiles, old furniture; everything just strung together. Of course there is a waitress present, but I don't want to talk about service. I ordered steak “well done” and it came “medium/raw”. This shouldn't happen. It was grilled, but my partner was finished eating when I started. Prices are ok for a steakhouse, but for this restaurant it's too much. We won't be coming back.

We were there for a festive occasion and wanted to treat ourselves to steaks. Unfortunately we weren't satisfied, here are a few details: - all 4 menus were extremely worn, some torn in the middle - Drinks came quickly, but no further requests for drinks were ever asked - waited about 1 hour for the food - the starter salad came quickly, but was rather bland - The steaks were ok, but cooked unevenly (well done on one side, rare on the other - they were ordered medium) - Baked potatoes were also baked unevenly - Service clears the tables even though people are still eating (and without asking for any other drinks) - Atmosphere is very loud, tables are close together and not enough clothes racks - generally rather uncomfortable - You pay the bill at the counter, but you only notice this through other guests - Toilet unclean It's a shame all in all...

Everything tastes like frozen goods and overpriced. As a group we wouldn't go again

Terrific!!! Nice service, we got a nice place by the heater ready for us and our dog without a reservation (it was really cold outside) We had garlic bread and baked mushrooms as starters. Came very quickly, was super hot and totally tasty. Main courses were liver with onions and fried potatoes and chicken Bombay with fries. Also really tasty and generous portion. Our dog also got a bowl of water straight away. That definitely gives me plus points. If we're in the area again, we'll come back. There were a few dishes on the menu that interested us.

Went here for the second time on vacation. The sauces are packet stuff, sometimes quickly warmed up in the microwave. The pepper sauce tastes like old cellar, the grains are soft like butter. The portions are also absolutely poor for the price (€4.80 for 5 cold croquettes? Seriously, that's pure bullshit) After complaining, all I got was "and what should we do now?". As compensation, after 2 minutes there was a warmed-up dish, fries soggy and sauce so thick and curdled that I could have chewed it. Fantastic service (sarcasm). Apart from the steaks, everything here is low quality. You could also clean the kitchen, a quick look from outside would reveal leftover food, dirt and mess. Not again. Very disappointed

The restaurant is near the Müritz. So a delicious meal and then a nice walk along the Müritz. A few steps to the left and you are directly at the harbor. Really recommended. The staff is very nice and hospitable👍😊

The menu promises you a culinary journey, unfortunately the reality is a little different, the food is actually okay, what is definitely missing is a certain ingredient and that is love! According to the menu, the chili is advertised as hot, unfortunately it's bland, the meat lacks the right spice, all in all the service was nice and friendly. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Haben einen Tisch auf der Außenterrasse gewählt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und wir konnten schnell bestellen (Rumpsteak gefüllt mit Schinken und Schafskäse und Holzfällersteak). Das Essen war besser als erwartet, geschmacklich einfach top. 🔝 👍🏼 Ich hatte vorab einen Caipirinha, der ganz okay gewesen ist, danach noch einen Roséwein, der gut geschmeckt hat. Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen…🤔
