Very tasty, unbeatable price-performance ratio and friendly service. The walls could use some fresh paint.

This restaurant is not recommended! My friend's ribs were bad, the chef should have noticed that while preparing them. The salad, which according to the menu comes with the main course, appeared on the bill at €3.50. Which I personally find cheeky since I didn't specifically order it.

The food tasted very good. Unfortunately, it is very loud in the restaurant when there are a lot of guests in it.

For a steakhouse, the steak wasn't grilled medium, it was grilled to death. You can ask for more here. Unfortunately the pike perch was drowned by the sauce.

Like other good restaurants, prices here range between €4.30 and €4.50 If I had known beforehand that the drinks were so expensive, I would have avoided the restaurant!! The restaurant is near the Müritz. So a delicious meal and then a nice walk along the Müritz. A few steps to the left and you are directly at the harbor. Really recommended. The staff is very nice and hospitable👍😊

Went here for the second time on vacation. The sauces are packet stuff, sometimes quickly warmed up in the microwave. The pepper sauce tastes like old cellar, the grains are soft like butter. The portions are also absolutely poor for the price (€4.80 for 5 cold croquettes? Seriously, that's pure bullshit) After complaining, all I got was "and what should we do now?". As compensation, after 2 minutes there was a warmed-up dish, fries soggy and sauce so thick and curdled that I could have chewed it. Fantastic service (sarcasm). Apart from the steaks, everything here is low quality. You could also clean the kitchen, a quick look from outside would reveal leftover food, dirt and mess. Not again. Very disappointed

The menu promises you a culinary journey, unfortunately the reality is a little different, the food is actually okay, what is definitely missing is a certain ingredient and that is love! According to the menu, the chili is advertised as hot, unfortunately it's bland, the meat lacks the right spice, all in all the service was nice and friendly. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Haben einen Tisch auf der Außenterrasse gewählt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und wir konnten schnell bestellen (Rumpsteak gefüllt mit Schinken und Schafskäse und Holzfällersteak). Das Essen war besser als erwartet, geschmacklich einfach top. 🔝 👍🏼 Ich hatte vorab einen Caipirinha, der ganz okay gewesen ist, danach noch einen Roséwein, der gut geschmeckt hat. Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen…🤔

Wenn man ein Steakhaus zum Mittag besucht, sollte es klar sein hier gibt es gutes Fleisch und Spezialisten welches dieses auch zubereiten können. Ich habe mir ein Hüftsteak medium in der Grösse 300 gr. bestellt meine Frau Hühnchen in Pfeffersosse. Mein Steak war mehr als "Durch" gebraten, auf den Hinweis den ich der Kellnerin gegeben habe , das dieses Fleisch nicht dem entspricht was ich bestellt habe, sagte sie es gibt einen Ramazotti aufs Haus und lies mich mit meinem "totem" Fleisch sitzen. Aus dem Ramazotti wurde ein Esspresso. Auf meine Frage zu meiner Frau, wie es ihr schmecken würde, kam die knappe Antwort, geniessbar. Dieses Restaurant werden wir auf keinen Fall wieder besuchen und wir können es auch nicht weiter empfehlen

Not really recommended. As a starter we had the Camembert, which to our surprise was a classic baked Camembert from Rewe (or similar), including the accompanying cranberry mash. Served on two canned pineapple rings and white bread sandwiches tossed in butter. It tastes ok, but almost ridiculous for 8.90 in a restaurant. Drinks: a 0.5 beer and a white wine spritzer. The main course was sirloin steak with steakhouse fries and a Mexican vegetable and meat pan. The steak was a little tough and the cooking time was between rare and medium rare. The latter was the goal, so it can be accepted. The Mexican pan also worked, but we had a strong suspicion that all of the dishes used few fresh ingredients. And despite the fact that it says "Argentinian" and "Mexican" outside, the food is unfortunately very bland and hardly seasoned. Considering that the hut was initially quite full, the service was quite ok. However, as a TV chef once said, the longer the menu, the worse the restaurant. I wouldn't go here again, there are a number of other restaurants nearby that certainly offer some better food. The price of just under 65 EUR is certainly not appropriate for what is on offer.

We ate here in a larger group. The food came quickly after ordering. Unfortunately I have to say that it was the worst lumberjack steak I have ever eaten. And the potato wedges were not edible for me. The clearing service worked perfectly, but perhaps we could have waited until everyone had eaten. Some people like to eat the last piece of pizza with a plate in front of them. As a group, we agreed that we would not recommend this steakhouse.

Ich war gestern Abend mit meinem Mann beim Abendessen in diesem Lokal. Wir bekamen mit, wie am Nachbartisch eine Familie mit Ihrem Essen nicht zufrieden war und des dem Kellner auch mitteilte, als Er fragte. Wir können Dies auch bestätigen, denn auch wir hatten jeweils ein Steak bestellt, was kaum zu essen war, da es trocken und zäh war. Wir bekamen mit, wie die Restaurantleitung, anstatt sich bei der Familie zu entschuldigen, sie die Familie laut angegangen ist und wie wir empfanden mit einem unverschämten Tonfall. In der heutigen Zeit, wo Alles so teuer geworden ist und das Essen gehen keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr ist, fanden wir das Verhalten der Leitung unverschämt. Uns hat die Familie leid getan. Da wir auch unzufrieden mit Essen und dem Service waren und das Erlebnis am Nachbartisch ein no go war, werden wir dieses Lokal auch nicht mehr besuchen.

Wir waren an einem ganz normalen Wochentag zum Abendessen in diesem Lokal. Das Lokal füllte sich erst zur späteren Stunde, somit war kein Stress vorhanden. Wir bestellten alle Steaks (Huftsteak, Filetsteak, Rumsteak) mit Folienkartoffel. Die Kartoffeln waren nicht gekocht, sondern blanchiert (roh), die Steaks waren nicht mal lauwarm und die Qualität des Fleisches extrem zeh (Schuhsohle = ungenießbar) Wir machten den Kellner auf diese Misstände aufmerksam, Er bot uns an die Steaks ein weiteres Mal auf dem Grill zu legen. Dies lehnten wir ab, da nach zeh und hart nichts anderes mehr kommt. Eigentlich eine Frechheit dieses Angebot. Als wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, kam die Restaurantleitung und erkundigte sich nach unserer Zufriedenheit. Wir verneinten Sie. Daraufhin wurde Sie frech, laut und unhöflich, forderte uns auf sofort zu zahlen und das Lokal zu verlassen. Wir können mit ruhigem Gewissen dieses Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen.

We were at the Mendoza steakhouse on May 9, 2024, which is close to the water (only parking in between) and offers a great view of the water while eating. The food was very tasty. The starters like bruschetta and garlic soup were delicious. The side salad with delicious herb dressing was also served with the starters, which was perfect as it went perfectly with it. The Mendoza steak stuffed with ham and feta was also pretty much perfectly medium and tasted very good. The only criticism is that there wasn't some sour cream with the potato wedges as standard. The service was friendly. We will definitely eat there again.

Anyone who is in the area should definitely not miss the visit. Mendoza has the best steak ever. Going back today, already planned.

We would like to report on our experience in this restaurant: we were looking forward to a fun evening with family and friends. Unfortunately, we can't say much positive things. Questions about ingredients (due to allergies) were answered reluctantly, and there were no alternative suggestions. When I asked again about a dip (cocktail sauce instead of remoulade sauce, as offered on the menu), things started: apparently the owner was not only angry about the question, but also a hail of accusations in the form of “You are not in a German restaurant and our remoulade is just not typically German and these are our recipes” (in a very unfriendly tone). When asked about this unfriendly communication, there was a hail of accusations that we were arrogant and had shown arrogant behavior... Our conclusion: dear Mendoza team: next time, please let unsuitable guests know before ordering that you have “rules of etiquette”! We would have preferred to invest our almost 200 euros with “hosts” out of passion... we would like to make one thing clear: the food was really tasty, but going out to eat in such a cold, unfriendly atmosphere is no fun... and just don't ask about the parking space (because this question really got her on the 🌴)

The reception and the food were really good. The two guys at the service were very quick and we didn't wait long. The service wasn't perfect, the salad came before the drinks and a sweet topping wasn't asked for, but everything was nice and quick. YOU COULD PAY WITH A CARD WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. The Staek was excellent on point and a "whole bag" of roasted onions for only 1.50 euros. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We had chicken with gorgonzola and spinach and spicy chicken. The appearance could have been improved but it tasted very good. I thought it was great that the fries weren't salted. This means everyone has the opportunity to define their salt level. Clear recommendation.

Unfriendly service, not convinced by the taste! Unfortunately, we were not welcomed warmly, even though the restaurant only had a few guests. Our spot was with a view of the water, but the sun was so blinding that I couldn't see the person opposite me. We ordered steaks that were not edible. The rump steak was sour and smelled very strong and the fillet was completely raw, with hard fibers running through it (probably not a fillet). The waitress was asked about it, but explained to us that everything was fresh and normal. The meat remained on our plates and we went home hungry. After this experience, we will not come back for dinner again.

Simple and calm restaurant near the harbor in Waren. We were the only guests in the afternoon. The waiter was calm, served us immediately and was friendly, perhaps a little too shy. Unfortunately, when we ordered our meat dishes, he didn't ask how we wanted the meat. That's amazing for a steakhouse... But the food tasted very good. We ordered one dish with croquettes instead of quark potatoes, but unfortunately there were only 5 on the plate... A bit small in our opinion. Overall everything was good and we would come again.

Table reserved for 2 people...when we arrived the room was already very full with many reserved tables...the request for another table for 2 was politely responded to Drinks went quite well despite the tables being full.... Unfortunately, the food took a while, but it's better that way than if it started quickly and there was no quality.. Food was excellent just as it was ordered... Staff very quick and friendly.. The problem would have been that you wouldn't be full, but it was very tasty and plenty to fill you up... and enjoy the time... Enjoyed the ambience, food and time... Today we were at the Mendoza restaurant again for many years. What we experienced here shocked us very much. The welcome and seating assignments were quite nice. Our order went quite quickly but then things went downhill. The salad came immediately, my starter (bruschetta) came after 1 hour! After another hour after the starter, the main courses arrived. Luckily we instinctively shared the bruschetta plate otherwise my wife and the two kids would have waited almost 2 hours for their main course. My son and I had FILLET STEAKS, my wife had Ostrich FILLET and my daughter had Chicken Hollandaise. The latter was okay for our daughter, although you had to look for the chicken in the sauce. The ostrich fillet was just tough and the fillet steak didn't work at all. Although cooked as desired, it is laced with tendons and fascia and bitter!!! That was never fillet!!! Quality inferior. Of course we immediately made ourselves known and complained about the food! There was the language barrier...not bad but it didn't work with English either. But you can't do anything except a coffee or schnapps on the house. We rejected that. We eat out regularly and neither we nor the children are particularly demanding or picky. We also always give a generous tip. But what we experienced in Mendoza is absolutely not possible and we don't know that. A pity…

I have NEVER eaten so badly. The steak was overcooked and tasted like liver, the sauce that I ordered so I could eat the meat was inedible. The service was rude and unprofessional and, due to a lack of language skills, could not even understand and implement the friendly criticism.

We wanted to have a really good time for the girls' weekend, so we decided on the "Steakhaus" Mendoza. One of us suffers from celiac disease, an autoimmune disease, and reacts strongly to gluten. The allergens on the menu were inadequately or not declared at all, even though this is mandatory!! When we asked what kind of breading the champions were coated with, we were told that they could be safely eaten because they were gluten-free. Only after asking again and turning to another waiter did he answer: Bread! It would be really nice if at least one service staff spoke the local language so that misunderstandings could be avoided. My selected starter was forgotten, my friend had long since finished her starter when they wanted to serve me mine. When I politely declined, as the main course was expected soon, I was rudely contacted. The food was terribly bad, my medallion resembled the sole of a shoe and I was actually charged 70 cents for the ketchup. All in all, service not hospitable, food not recommended. Allergy sufferers should definitely ask several questions and do their own research if necessary.

Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll in diesem sehr merkwürdigen Laden.. Wir waren jetzt das 2. Mal am Silvesterabend dort. Und beide Male war es ein Desaster! Beim ersten mal vorletztes Jahr haben wir online einen Tisch bestellt. Laut der "Chefin" wäre das nicht geschehen. Heutzutage ist denk ich, der Kunde König. Dort in keinem Fall. Es wird diskutiert und es wird laut. Was überhaupt nicht geht!! Letztes Jahr hab ich ein Tisch bestellt für das Event an Silvester. Das ging natürlich auch in die Hose. Und wieder Diskussionen und laut. Der Fehler lag bei denen, weil bei den Angestellten eine Sprachbarriere herrscht. Sie schickte uns dann in die Stadt, zu der Zweigfiliale, mit der Option, wenn jemand absagt, dass wir dann doch noch kommen können. Das war dann auch der Fall und wir sind wieder durch die ganze Stadt zurück. Ohne ein Wort der Entschuldigung, oder Einsicht, nur am meckern. Wir wurden dann trotzdem noch einmal abkassiert(trotzdem die Karten schon bezahlt war). Das Essen hat mich dann auch nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Ich hatte gefülltes Rumpsteak. Es war nur durchwachsen und einfach nicht zu kauen. Mein Mann trank Hefe-Weizen. Unter anderem kam ein alkoholfreies, was er bemerkt hatte. Ja, sorry ist so und fertig, es musste trotzdem bezahlt werden. Ich bin sowas von enttäuscht von diesem Laden! Wir haben den Abend 170€ dort gelassen. Nachdem ich das Paar dann auf alles angesprochen habe, wurden sie ecklig und frech " Sind sie besoffen", dass konnte ich mir 2x anhören! Sorry, aber das geht null heutzutage. Das Problem ist, dass die Gaststätte direkt am Wasser liegt und alle im Sommer dahin gehen. Ansonsten, wäre der Laden längst dicht! Ich kann auch die anderen Kommentare nicht verstehen, super nett, Top Essen... Wo bitte? Wir haben 2x ins Klo gefasst und werden hier nie wieder hingehen, sowie alle die dort hinfahren vor diesem Laden warnen. Danke für diesen schlechten Jahreswechsel!!
