Griechisches Restaurant Rhodos in Waren (Müritz)

Essen hat lecker geschmeckt. Von den Sitzplätzen draußen toller Blick auf die Müritz.

Hatte zu 19 Uhr ein Tisch bestellt ich sollte kurz warten nach 20 Minuten warten hate ich dann ein Tisch und nach weiteren 20 Minuten warten auf eine karte bin ich gegangen

Während unseres Bootstörns im Mai 2026 hatten wir ( zu Dritt ) uns auf griechisches Essen gefreut und hatten einen Tisch im Rhodos reserviert. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns schroff mitgeteilt, dass kein Tisch frei sei. Erst auf unseren Hinweis hin, dass wir reserviert hätten, wurde uns ein freier Tisch zugewiesen. Als uns die Speisekarte gebracht wurde, haben wir unsere Getränke bestellt, die von dem Kellner ohne jeglichem freundlichen Gesichtsausdruck oder freundlich entgegengenommen wurde. Geliefert wurde prompt. Nach Bestellung des Essens kam dieses auch recht schnell. Zunächst wurde ein kleiner Salat serviert. Die Hauptgerichte wurden von einer Kellnerin gebracht, ohne, dass zuvor die leeren Teller abgeräumt worden waren. So stand die - ebenfalls unfreundliche - Kellnerin mit den vollen Tellern an unserem Tisch und forderte uns schroff mit Gesten auf, Platz auf dem Tisch zu schaffen. Das Essen war auch nicht überragend eher passabel. Das Gyros war kaum gewürzt und der Reis mit etwas Undefinierbaren orientalisch versehen, was man bei einem Griechen nicht erwartet. Die Krönung war dann der - eigentlich obligatorische - Ouzo; ihn gab es nicht. Zur Begrüßung gab es stattdessen ein nicht zu identifizierenden Likör mit Lakritzgeschmack. Als wir nach dem Essen einen Ouzo bestellen wollten, hieß es - ebenfalls recht kurz angebunden - es gäbe keinen Ouzo, der sei alle. Nachdem wir unseren Unmut darüber kundgetan hatten, tauchte der Kellner kurz darauf wundersamer Weise dann plötzlich doch noch mit einem Ouzo auf. Alles in allem waren wir sehr enttäuscht, woran auch die schöne Außenterrasse mit wunderbarem Blick auf die Müritz nichts zu ändern vermochte; leider ein "no goe"!

der Besuch im Restaurant Rhodos hat bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen... aber keinen positiven. Begrüßt wurde man mit intensiven Kopfschütteln (nixxe Platze frei) ... erst der Hinweis auf die Tischreservierung hat die Stimmung kurz aufgehellt. Servicepersonal insgesamt durch die Bank schlecht gelaunt und mit langen Gesichtern unterwegs. Ok, Getränke wurden zügig geliefert, Essen war schnell bestellt. Dann gab es statt Ouzo ein undefinierbarers Gesöff... ging garnicht. Die Beilagensalate kamen auch Recht schnell, aber der nächste Knaller kam beim servieren der Hauptspeisen... die leeren Salatteller standen noch auf dem Tisch (ok, die Servicekraft ist gefühlt nur 10x mit leeren Händen dran vorbei gelaufen) und patze uns an, wir sollten mal Platz auf den Tisch machen... unfassbar. Essen war soweit ...hmmm sagen wir mal ok ... nur der Reis war, für meinen Geschmack, mit den orientalischen (?) Gewürz nicht genießbar. So weit, so schlecht. Wir wurden dann netter Weise gefragt, ob wir noch einen Schnaps haben möchten. Wir haben gefragt, ob wir statt den seltsamen Getränk einen Ouzo haben können... was dann kam, hätte nen Platz bei versteckte Kamera verdient. "Äähhh, wir nixxe Ouzo, iste alle, nix da". Aha, sehr interessant. 2 Minuten später stand dann doch Ouzo auf dem Tisch (wir habbe noch gefunde), diese wurden aber auch berechnet. Also das Gesamtpaket passte überhaupt nicht.

Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Wir haben schon bei vielen Griechischen Restaurant gegessen, aber so ein Schlechtes Essen hatten wir noch nie. Personal auch völlig überfordert. Ein Stern ist schon eigentlich zu viel.

Sehr leckeres Essen und lockere Sprüche vom Personal. Besser kann man griechisch nicht essen gehen. Ich empfehle euch sehr gerne weiter.

Tolles Restaurant mit großzügigem Platzangebot. Die Speisen sind genauso, wie man diese in einem griechischen Restaurant erwartet. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Bonus ist der tolle Ausblick auf die Müritz.

Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll. Tisch bestellt und sowohl bei Buchung, wie beim Empfang sehr freundlich. Diese Freundlichkeit konnten wir den ganzen Abend verzeichnen. Tolles Essen, allerdings Frage nicht nach einem 2. Ouzo😳 der kostet dann 2,50€ extra … Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt in den letzten 30 Jahren… Bei den happigen Preisen geht das besser, ich bin auch selbstständig und weis wie das ist!!!

Hatte noch nie so ein schlechtes griechisches Restaurant besucht. Gibt kein Brot zum Salat und zur Hauptspeise, das Fleisch war sowas von trocken und der Salat war das Geld nicht wert. Ich habe kein Cent Trinkgeld gegeben.

Das Essen war gut. Aber es wurden Unterschiede bei der Vorspeise (Salat) gemacht. Alle anderen bekamen den Salat mit Brot serviert und wir nicht. Die Bedienung kam nicht ein einziges Mal und hatte nachgefragt ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. Unter freundlicher Bedienung stelle ich mir was anderes vor

Only guests with reservations are treated with kindness and courtesy. We didn't have a reservation and were greeted so unfriendly, and then we had to wait at least 40 minutes before we could order. Everyone else who arrived after us (presumably had reservations) was served immediately. Absolutely not recommended.

I don't recommend this Greek restaurant. The staff isn't very knowledgeable, and the menu, drinks, and food take a long time to arrive. Other guests came and were immediately given a salad even though they hadn't even seen the menu and had already ordered. So, it's not worth it; find another place in Waren.

Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to get garlic bread instead of white bread for the tzatziki. I had to pack the salad myself... The location and the view of the lake are fantastic!

The food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. The outdoor seating with a view of Lake Müritz is unbeatably beautiful!

It's very nice and decorated in a Greek style. Perfect for a family dinner. The gyros are especially delicious. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The seats are also very comfortable, and you get a salad as a starter. There are special menus for the kids and something to color.

The food itself wasn't bad. However, the rice was very tasteless and dry, which somewhat undermined the quality of the meat. The ambiance is very good. We waited half an hour for the menu and a total of one hour for the food, which puts the service in a somewhat poor light. However, we had a somewhat younger waitress who was very nice and brought us plenty of extra ouzo to our table after we complained. Overall, our visit to this restaurant was rather mediocre, and we would definitely choose other Greek restaurants in Waren next time.

The food was good and plentiful. When we wanted to pay, we had to say something three times before someone came to collect the money. Despite everything, I can still recommend this Greek restaurant. 👍

A beautiful spot right on the water, but above all: the food is fantastic! The gyro was the best I've ever eaten, perfectly seasoned, tender, and crispy. The side dishes were also fresh and delicious, and the drinks were well chilled. The staff is super friendly, quick, and attentive. Special requests (like unsalted fries) were no problem at all; everything went smoothly. Plus, great Greek music and a harmonious decor. We'll definitely be back; it couldn't be better!

So, I went there yesterday for dinner and drinks. It couldn't have been better. Everything was delicious and the view was fantastic. The cocktails are also worth it. The waiters were super friendly. I have nothing to complain about.

The food was OK, but there was room for improvement. The starter arrived promptly, but then having to wait over an hour for the main course, which only came after asking for it, was completely unacceptable. The waiters could have been a bit friendlier; I'm just used to it differently. Addendum the next day: I struggled with a stomach ache all night and blocked the toilet. I'm never going there again.

We spontaneously reserved a table for 6 people by phone. We were immediately assigned to it upon arrival. The service is always friendly and accommodating to all requests. Drinks and food are not long in coming. We've always been impressed by the food. The interior is decorated in a typically Greek style, and the exterior offers a wonderful view of Lake Müritz. The prices are reasonable: 4 people, 2 starters, 6 drinks, 4 main courses, and tip = €140

We came here for lunch and really enjoyed it. We didn't have a reservation and were greeted very warmly. I had lamb chops with rice and salad, and my husband had a mixed meat platter with the same side dishes. Both were delicious. The Rhodos is on a slightly elevated spot and offers a great view. We'd love to come back. The restaurant has many tables of various sizes, and you can also enjoy the beautiful weather outside.

The food has improved; we haven't been there in a while...why? Maybe a new chef?... Otherwise, everything's fine...view of the Müritz...simply super!...the only downside is that you still can't pay with a credit card (Mastercard or Visa), even though it's now possible 98% of the time...even in the remotest corners of Greece and on the Greek islands...EC cards are accepted, but people under 50 hardly ever have them anymore, and in other European countries and the rest of the world, they certainly don't...and customers don't really want to argue with relatively new employees...as a customer, you just want peace and quiet...eat, drink, and pay without any discussion...nothing more...that's the pure restaurant experience...nothing more!

In my opinion, this restaurant is an absolute no-go. The quality of the food is substandard. The gyros are made with barely identifiable meat topped with Metaxa sauce. The waitress vigorously rejected my criticism of the meat and tried to justify it.

What a beautiful location, on the terrace, with this view, simply wow. The food is delicious, the service is friendly.

The location is very nice, you can sit comfortably inside and outside. The staff is very friendly and quick. I personally didn't like the food, but we were a group of 12 people and the others had nothing to complain about. I had pork liver, the slices were extremely thin and totally dry. It was also not possible to fry the onions for the liver.

Good cuisine is probably not necessary due to their tourism - the second restaurant in which the food was not good. Here, the chef's personal guests are served first, while the tourists wait forever (over 1 hour) for their food in a not full restaurant. You can see from the photo that the food is not nicely presented. The Metaxa sauce tastes like tomato sauce and we had to separate our rice from hard rice grains. The male waiter was attentive and friendly - that gave it 2 stars. We'll be cooking ourselves for the rest of the holiday...what a shame

However, we didn't manage to make a spontaneous decision when we were hungry for meat. It's a bit of a shame that we had to pack the leftovers onto wobbly paper plates right at the table.

.....Table was pre-ordered personally in the restaurant! No specific table was provided for us on that day. Orders came quite quickly. But when we reordered drinks we were told that we only had the table for 2 hours! So we didn't get anything more! The invoice was processed quickly! Small note: There were enough seats available inside and outside! And there were no guests waiting to be seated!!! It's a shame, no one from the staff told us something like that when we made the reservation or on the day in question! •therefore points deducted•

Beautifully located restaurant with a view of the Müritz. Food was completely fine and enough to really fill you up. Unfortunately, the staff didn't seem quite like what I'm used to in other Greek restaurants. Three different people served us without seeming to speak to each other and it seemed kind of listless. Nevertheless, they were friendly and the food and drinks arrived shortly after we ordered.

Unfortunately not a good restaurant! We gave the wine back and it was undrinkable! Unfortunately, the Aperol we ordered wasn't very good either - it almost only tasted like water. Our starter, the cheese, was OK but the salad was completely loveless and the bread was completely dry. Unfortunately, the main course wasn't convincing either. The gyros were ok, the so-called Metaxa from the Maggie bag was completely tasteless.

Short-term reservation worked. Staff friendly as always. Food delicious. Always my pleasure.

We had ordered. Got a table in the hallway. Then boss came and offered us another, nicer place. Food was great and so was the ambience. You can definitely recommend the restaurant. We were here again in December 2024 and there is nothing to complain about. FOOD great and also a great place

Great Greek restaurant with lots of service staff who kept an eye on everything. At a later hour, free tables were pulled aside to create a dance floor. The atmosphere was great!

Unfortunately I can only give 3 stars because I have often been disappointed here by the service and the quality of the food. First of all, the positive. We liked the Cretan potatoes, the lamb and the gratinated gyros. In the off-season everything is almost perfect. However, if you visit this restaurant in the middle of the season, it is very busy and the service is therefore very tense and stressed. The female waitress in particular is very abrupt, impatient and makes a very listless impression. The Cretan potatoes are very wobbly in high season and taste like they have been warmed up twice in the microwave. The winter months show that there is another way. Conclusion: TOP low season, FLOP high season!

We were very satisfied. Everything was right... We couldn't find any defects. When we are back in Waren Müritz, the restaurant Rhodes is booked.

Location is great, service was poor. We were served accordingly. Food was okay. No 2. Worth a visit. You don't want to pay by card. Even though you had the device at the table. There was no invoice, you got a receipt that said so. (No invoice). Tourist rip off!! Thanks to the top location, the operator allows himself to treat his guests in this way.

Chic restaurant with a view of the Müritz. Very nice service. Unfortunately, the Rhodo plate wasn't really my thing. The gyros was in my opinion... not freshly cut. But the ambience is the finest.

The restaurant is decorated in a typically Greek style. The service was ok. However, we didn't like the food at all. The rice tasted like it came from a can, the gyros and liver were absolutely tasteless.

Unfortunately, white beans with okra tasted like they were canned. Makedonika's red wine was characterless in taste, more sour than fruity. The tomato rice didn't taste fruity, tomato-like, a bit bitter on the finish.

The food was good. Only our service wasn't as friendly as I'm used to at Greek restaurants. The very first question: whether we pay in cash or by card. 🤔 Although we were still studying the menu, the waiter was already there and wanted to take the food order...then after a short time the salads were put in front of us...without a good appetite or a smile on his face. Unusual for a Greek restaurant.....without olives etc., but with a yogurt dressing. As soon as the plate was empty it was taken away. No question as to whether it tasted good. I didn't manage to eat everything and was given a paper plate, a piece of aluminum foil and a plastic bag and was allowed to pack my own food... what a service... We were served so quickly that you had the feeling that you weren't really welcome as a guest...

The food tasted delicious as always. The garlic bread could be thinner and crispier, then it wouldn't taste so soggy. Otherwise the portions are plentiful. The service seems a bit unfriendly, but I don't think that's meant in a bad way. When I'm here on vacation, a visit to Rhodes is a must.

You really can't eat there anymore. The prices are a disgrace, as is the food itself! We don't even need to start with "service". You used to be great, but unfortunately that's over.
